Telestis is a ten year old bachelor stallion, formerly a herd stallion of the Reeks Herd; he does wish to return one day.

Telestis is a mustang of striking coloration, a tovero paint with a chestnut base; the chestnut of his coat only peeks out atop his hips and in the smallest of spots on his forehead beneath his forelock, with the rest of his body covered in a white color, often dirty until he treks through a water body deep enough to cleanse his coat of any remaining dirt. It doesn't take long for him to gather a sheet of dirt on his body again, however, even without a good old roll in the grass.
The stallion stands at 15HH (60 inches; 150 centimeters), weighing in at a small 800 pounds (360 kilograms). He doesn't have much in the department of height and weight, though he does make up for it in his determination when it comes to the security of his family.
His eyes are a striking blue, pale like a robin's egg and often holding a look of 'try me'.

Telestis is what some may know as a casanova; he roams constantly in search of himself, and just happens to string along mares along the way. He's never stayed in a herd for longer than two months, sticking around long enough to potentially spread his genes and then taking off. He isn't a stallion that likes to be in one place for long, growing skittish if he remains still for longer than a week regardless of the reason; this remains as the primary reason behind his departure from the herd during the pregnancy of Áine. While he does feel regret and a longing to correct things, he does not believe he would have been better off staying in the herd.
He often considers returning to his family, missing the security and the consistency in his lifestyle; however, Telestis felt out of place among their ranks. He felt as though something was always missing, something he never could quite figure out; he hoped that leaving would fill this gaping hole in himself, but it only caused it to expand.
He yearns for companionship, for the warmth of another on a cold night, the feeling of security in the face of a potentially dangerous situation. He is on the fence on whether he'd ever return to the life of a herd stallion, but he does value his freedom more than almost anything on this earth.

He has a nasty set of scars on his flank and another on his side, all from protecting himself or his herd before he left.

He has sired a foal by Áine, though has yet to meet him due to his leaving the herd to explore the world. He does intend to return for them, should he be welcomed back.
He is the father to Bizirik, but left before the colt's birth and does not know him, or even of him. All he knows is that Áine was pregnant upon his departure and has likely had her foal by now.

He has no real crush, though does hold a special place in his heart for Áine.

He has sired numerous foals in his time; one of which is Bizirik.

Sagira is seventeen years old

She is the Deputy (Mare) of the Reeks Herd, and is content where she stands

A mare of shorter stature, Sagira stands at only 14HH and weighs in at approximately 800 pounds. She isn't a mare built for any sort of combat/confrontation, nor is she necessarily built for speed, being a little bit on the more rounded side. She doesn't graze more than she should or get into any wild carrots or anything of the sorts, she's simply a little heavier than one would expect of a mare recently out of her prime.

She's a bit on the slower side due to the additional weight; she isn't pregnant, simply large. She hasn't been pregnant in about four years, though she will simply pass it off as 'still losing the weight' should anyone bring it up to her.

Sagira is of a chestnut base coloration with slightly lighter patches along her undersides and cheeks, with the patterns of a leopard appaloosa. Her body is covered with a white sheet of hair, dotted with chestnut markings that make up her true coloring.

As for her eyes, they are a deep brown color; dark pools that contain a wisdom beyond the years of many of her companions. Her main and tail, by contrast, are a pale blonde. Her tail is quite long, whereas her mane remains fairly short.

Sagira is a mare that is not to be trifled with; she is quick to bite or kick to remind a bold mare of her place within the herd structure, or to ward a stallion away from the foals they're working so diligently to raise. She seems to lack a gentleness with any horse once they'd reached maturity, treating them all as though they should know better and reufisng to accept 'I didn't know' as an excuse when confronted.

With the foals, however, Sagira is much more gentle. She will gladly play with any foal that approaches her with that intention, or tell stories when asked; she has no problem with watching over the young while their mothers graze or simply need alone time. She hasn't had a foal of her own in four years, though is happy to take those in the herd under her wing and treat them as though they were her own.

The herd comes before her own wellbeing, and Sagira will not hestitate to confront potentially dangerous stallions alongside her leader should that be what it takes to keep the foals alive and well; she may tremble in the legs from the adrenaline and underlying anxiety, but she will put her own life at risk if it means the herd thrives another day. Predators are a more complicated story, though she will still charge and kick until she can no longer if they get too close.

The old mare is wise and content to share her wisdom through legends and general stories, or through straight forward advice should that be asked of her. She has lived a full life and she awaits the day she can no longer provide for the herd, when she will be left behind to instead contribute her life to the grass below, but until then she is glad to still be welcomed and in her respected position.

Sagira has a deep set of scars along the base of her neck from a cougar attack when she was a younger mare in her prime, where she protected some of the herd's foals.

Aušrinė is a mare Sagira holds a great respect for; she has earned her title of the lead mare, and Sagira will assert this belief upon anyone to ask how she feels about their leading mare. She has watched Aušrinė grow from newborn foal to grand leader, and she couldn't be more proud.
OPEN

Sagira has no crush, nor does she have any interest in taking on a long-term partner in her age.

She's had no recent foals, but is open to have mothered any horse between the ages of twelve and four; she began breeding at the age of five, and started kicking at any stallion to approach her romantically at the age of thirteen.

{ Age }
Ten Years
. .
{ Gender }
Stallion
. .
{ Rank }
Saulceris is the lead stallion of the Isla Herd
Saulceris is a stallion of, for lack of a better word, beautiful coloration. His coat appears to be the coloration of honey in some places, and more of a tree's bark color as you travel further down his legs. His mane and tail are of a pristine, light blond color, strikingly contrasting his dappled, darkly colored coat.
. .
Saulceris is what humans would call a dappled chocolate palomino; his coat contains an array of palomino shades, lightening toward his center yet darkening toward the ends of his frame on either end, particularly toward his legs, which are then a blond similar to that of his mane and tail as you near his hooves.
. .
Saulceris inherited the deep brown gaze of his mother, appearing to glisten a vague golden color when the sunlight hits them just so. They hold a certain fire to them, an undying ferocity, especially when he was taken on a battle for the sake of the mares and foals of the herd.
. .
The stallion stands at an approximate 17.4 hands, with a build consisting of defined muscle and his figure depicting that of a healthy, well-fed feral horse. He is a large stallion, having inherited his height from his father rather than his quite short mother, and often used his size to his advantage in warding off rivaling stallions or predators.
{ Adaptable } - { Alert } - { Clear-headed }
The lead was selected likely due to his approach to life; he is willing to adapt to every challenge life throws his way, accepting them gracefully and easing into a new routine with minimal difficulties or reservations. He does his best to always be aware of his surroundings and alert, listening carefully for anything that would pose a danger to his herd, and he's furious with himself for not being able to do anything to keep the foals safe from the new lead. Saulceris approaches things with a clear mind and a calm demeanor, he's typically going to be the calm before the dominant mare's storm.
. . .
{ Compassionate } - { Considerate } - { Cooperative }
The palomino is a stallion driven by his compassion for the herd; when times got rough in the herd and a mare passed, or a foal was lost to natural causes or a predator, Saulceris was one of the first to join the mares in their grief. He'd step in as a shoulder to cry on, standing close to the grieving mare(s) and offering his support while she needs it. The wellbeing of the mares was his main priority, and he'd do anything it took to be sure they and their young would thrive. He'll work with anyone he needs to if it means the herd is fine, even if he isn't particularly fond of the individual.
. . .
{ Decisive } - { Dedicated } - { Dignified }
Saulceris is a stallion that knows what he wants and how to get it; he isn't manipulative, but he is a hard worker. He carries himself with the dignity and the authority of a stallion that many would believe was a lead. Saulceris is dedicated to the herd and to his lifestyle, and especially dedicated to any mares that claimed a special place in his heart; he isn't a one mare stallion, but he does love them all equally and treat them like the queens he firmly believes they are. The stallion is a romantic, and he will sooner die than treat a mare poorly.
/ / /
{ Busy } - { Enigmatic } - { Family-Oriented }
Unfortunately for his devotion to family and his clear adoration for his mares and foals, Saulceris was always quite the busy character. When he wasn't patrolling the outskirts of the herd for dangers, he was trailing well behind everyone to make sure there were no stragglers. He could often be seen standing at a higher vantage point, looking down on the herd and watching for any danger further away. For all that was clear in the stallion's personality, there are also mysteries as to how he gets around and takes care of things in general. He's almost an enigma, though not quite; he's got his mysterious qualities, but to call him a true puzzle would be a minor overstatement.
. . .
{ Intense } - { Old-Fashioned } - { Private }
The stallion is quite old fashioned in terms of belief; he holds the "laws" of nature very seriously, especially in terms of leadership and how it's passed on. Should a mare attempt to challenge the lead, he will promptly come between them and rear up, protecting his partner; it isn't right for a mare to challenge her leader, not in his eyes nor is it how things are run, and he will shut that down immediately when he's able. Should his lead mare decide she'd like to accept the challenge, he will stand down and allow her to do her thing.
Saulceris is intense in how he handles things, particularly the safety of his herd; he will not back down until his dying breath, should a stallion attempt to take over. His foals and those of his companion stallions are of his greatest priority, alongside the general health of his beloved mares, and he will do everything in his power to be sure all is well and the younger generations survive.
Despite his fierce protection of the herd, Saulceris is a bit of a private horse. He doesn't air his dirty laundry or voice his concerns out loud, and will instead handle them privately; concerns are discussed with the deputies first, to be sure they're worth the lead mare's time, before he will seek her out. In general, he does not like (at all) for anything in his private life to be made public to the herd.
/ / /
{ Assertive } - { Blunt } - { Calculating }
A blunt stallion with every move carefully thought out ahead of time, Saulceris never had any issue putting his hoof down when push came to shove. He would be one of the first to charge in and start kicking when things got rough, though not without a clear course of action planned out in his mind. The stallion is assertive when he needs to be, especially with young colts still learning their places. He's blunt, never afraid of speaking his mind, but he will feel bad if his words push a limit even a centimeter too far.
{ Crush }
Open; DM me
. .
{ Favored Mare(s) }
He isn't the type to have a specific mate, but he may have a favored mare (max of 2 favored mares); DM me!
. .
{ Offspring }
He's open to have sired foals/yearlings (really any horse under the age of 7) within the herd, and likely would have sired the majority given his role.
. .
{ Other }
Saulceris blames himself any time something goes wrong within the herd, even when it was beyond his control. He loves his mares more than he's ever loved anything, even those that haven't bore his foals, and he is happy so long as they're happy; happy wives, happy life.
