Alex woke up a few hours later and rolled of bed without looking at Axel because he couldn't as he rolled his eyes. " Well sh*t I am still alive somehow" he muttered immediately feeling the urge to go for the bottle as he felt it hitting him worse than his normal nightmares. Alex grabbed the bottle still not bothering to check on Axel as he walked out of the room and took a large gulp and closing his eyes as he let the cool burn of the alcohol slide down his throat before heading up stairs to his office and not bothering to close the door as he began taking the first hits at the punching bag each time hitting it harder than the last as he began getting into the motion of his fist and the swings of the beat up bag . One. Two. Pause. One.Two Pause. Over and over again as he sometimes took breaks to sip the alcohol he didn't yet feel because of his high metabolism and soon the bottle was forgotten with each satisfying smack . Alex didn't notice the sound of Olivia walking downstairs to look for Axel.
She found him and looked relieved before giving him a small smile before |

Alex didn't notice the sound of Olivia walking downstairs. The sad part was, no body dared to question his ' morning work out routine despite the obvious aura that seemed to follow one. Alex was the type of person that made parents herd their children away from him not is disapproval but fear from the few emotions that's flowed through his well muscled body that was mark with scars.
People say that imperfections are beautiful. Well, their not and will never be after all flawless and perfect with what the eye searches for a strives to protect. What about the scarred and broken being told that their life will get better yet they have never had a bad moment in their life yet they act like they can fix something broken into something beautiful? It's like gluing glass together but losing pieces and the more they search the more things start getting lost and falling apart.
After losing track of time pounding his fist inti the beat up punching bag and looking at his sore, red , knuckles that would mostly bruise he didn't glance at the lone bottle of whisky on his desk as he headed down the stairs with a fake smile glued to his face. This was his life sometimes sadness or anger but never self peace and if last night provided him a bit of a safe place it couldn't be maintained. It couldn't be perfect enough to change him in any way possible and he would only fall back into the same pattern but now with more small breaks. Without a word falling from his lips he began making pancakes batter without even acknowledging his sister yet. |

The loud sounds of yelling and cheering from the small group now growing slightly larger did not register through the barrier Hunter had create between himself , Carter , and the crowd that had been interested by the sparring match between him and Carter. Hunter smirked when he notice Carter had miss stepped and had a moment of imbalance that Hunter used to his advantage by striking his abdomen hard. " Sh*t Hunter! Not so hard we are just sparring " Carter said gasping for air as he ripped off his glove and grabbed his stomach as he grabbed his stomach. Hunter shrugged as he pulled off his gloves " I got a little caught up in the moment but I just realized I have to meet Kaden soon" He said in a bored voice as he watched the meduim sized crowd disperse before pulling on his black v-neck that showed off his biceps and clinged to his and to cover up his horrific scars on his back and chest. " I swear they just to see you since you look like a more attractive version of Satan " Carter muttered as he fixed his messy blonde hair and walked off. Hunter smirked "I know I look good. You know you love me !" He called sarcastically to one of his few remaining friends.
After all, Hunter was the kind of person that made parents herd their kiddos across the street just to avoid him. Hunter sighed as he ran his large hands through his now messy, coffee colored pompadour as he hazel eyes looked around before he pushed the door open and was greeted by a gust of cool air as well as the hustle and bustle of the city as he closed his eyes before opening them and finally leaving the gym. He walked around finding himself getting lost on random small things that caught his attention like a couple arguing in the car as he drove past or a little girl bouncing happily in front of what he assumed was an older sibling then there was another sound in an alley that caught his attention. A group of tall teenagers surrounding a obviously weaker teenager who was in his opinion rather attractive, but the box cutter one held that made him stop in his tracks and watch with a raised brow before he decided he wouldn't mind having fun in an alleyway brawl so he began walking forward with a clear amount of authority and confidence in his step until he paused about 15 feet away. " Hey! What do you think your doing?" Hunter called and just for dramatic effect crossed his arms against his well muscled chest. |

Alex sighed when he heard Axel come down stairs as he flipped some pancakes onto a plate before he poured more better into the pattern and cleared the throat when he heard Axel's question and concern. " Olivia, Is Carter taking you to school today?" He asked attempting to dodge the question but Olivia's response made him turn around and shoot daggers at her with his glare. " Yeah, also can you guys please keep your moaning down at night? I am glad for you Alex but please I don't want to here it " She groaned begore rushing out the door nor bothering to eat breakfast as she made a run for it when she heard Carter's car pulling up. Alex looked at his hand when he felt it being touched and pulled it away quickly from Axel with a huff and a slight glare whixh he couldn't hold on Axel so he instead just rolled his eyes at the concerned vampire.
" I'm fine and nothing happened ." He answered in a bored tone before grabbing a plate of pancakes and setting them down on the table. " Those are yours and I guess I will just eat Olivia's " He said with a shrug as he set the syrup down on the table. " I was just working out no need to be concerned Axel, I do get bruised a lot and I didn't drink that much. Of course, if it did it wouldn't have affected me because of my high metabolism and I would need to drink most of the bottle to get wasted." He mumbled as he sat down still avoiding contact with Axel |

Alex rolled his eyes as he began cutting his pancakes " Fine. No morning drinking." He muttered before pouring syrup over the pancakes and began eating them. Alex smirked at Axel when he heard him grumbling about how good the pancakes are and he was correct but Alex found himself playing a bit longer with the food before eating it.
Alexhad strangely made a habit of eating like a two year old child trying to avoid broccoli just without the crying and destructive behavior. Alex honestly used to be a lot more it cooking about a year ago but like most things that changed that year cooking didn't completely leave his life but it took him a stole to regain that interest. Alex raised a brow when Axel asked about if he spoke Italian " I don't but I can speak a bit of german..." He shrugged since he rarely even talked in any other language besides english. Alex only decided to learn German when he was a younger because of his father who spoke a lot of different languages but seemed to have a rather liking for speaking in German which Alex eventually picked up on once his father decidedto teach him but they never got the chance to do anything more since his father left them.
"Sprichst du Deutsch?" Alex asked with a raised brow. " It means do you speak German " He said as he finally glances down at his plate to see he was almost halfway done before giving up on playing with his food as he began eating it like a normal person. |

Alex smiled as he remembered the time he was smoking Smores for Olivia's friends and Jessica suing a torch and a hand towel caught on fire and he somehow managed to make the bad of marshmallows burst into flames so he just made popcorn instead for the girls. " Your lucky you didn't have two fire going because you decided to make Smores with a torch juat to be a show off but luckily I haven't had that problem since... My mom was pissed when shecame home to a girl's sleep over with me and- never mind" Alex said his voice moving from amusement and happiness to a quieter, sad tone as he remembered Jessica is dead and he was marked by Axel. "Penso che il tuo caldo." He reapted just seeing how the words sounded on his tongue honestly having no clue it had a different translation than what was told . " No , not that I have anyrhing ahainst the language I just... Well, It's hard to explain but I dont think I want to learn anymore langauges" Alex said not mentioning his father and how that affected him.
Alex grabbed his own plate before taking Axel's " Do you want more?" He asked with a raised brow as he turned around and with a loud smack whacked his knuckles against the counter and muttered quite a few curses as he held his red and already be using knuckles. " Blöd! " ( Stupid!) Alex growled before letting out a deep sigh. " Next time I need to wrap my hand " He said as he rubbed his once again red knuckles then looked at Axel with a smile. " When you are ready we can get your stuff then I can give you a tour of wolf territory"
Sinxe Axel had mentioned he liked looking at the stars and Alex happened to know the perfect spot for stargazing that Axel has probably never been to he decided that maybe a tour of the territory that ends with a nice sunset and stargazing wiuld be nice. " Your finally doing something correctly " He wolf in his head barked happily and Alex rolled his eyes not using his word s to back fire at the animal. |

By the time their direction was shifted he was out of his cliche pose and said actaully threw up his fist remembering to tuck his thumb in from past experiences where he just threw a punch and ended up breaking his thumb from the blow. The teenagers looked a little baffled by his form but they most likely have seen people that just acted like they knew what they were doing and Hunter waited until one threw the first hook which had enoughforce that when Hunter dodged it swinged his leg around which gave a clear shot between the shoulder blades which Hunter used by smacking his balled fist right dead center which sent the boy coughing and gasping . The other boy had jumped onto Hunters back and tried to get him in a choke hold and Hunter grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and threw him ober his head before delivering a hard kick to his chest with a sharp cracking noise of that meant he had broke a few ribs. A movement caught his eyes as the other was trying to escape but Hunter caught him and gave him a glare of warning before letting go of his shirt as he watched them run.
Hunter turned his attention to the stand off with interest deciding that if anyone gets stabbed he would of course help them but after he would sprint to the coffee shop that he needed to meet Kaden at. Now that he was over 18 he basically would get thrown in jail for getying into a brawl and of course the police would be all over the 6'4 tall dude that wasn't originally apart of this. Other people's problems weren't his own unless they were an interest to him because to a stranger he would be a big , flirty , annoying jokester but with Karen he was a lot more serious and over protective . |

Alex nodded the the young man that almost ran into him but hand to take a second look before frowning before straightening his posture and walking after him clearly concerned. It wasn't the fact he was out at night alone or nearly walked into him it was his eyes. They had dark circles and the need for sleep in his eyes that made the hairs on the back of his neck stand up not in the way when he listened to murders explain all their thoughts and plans but it gave him the feeling on concern and it triggered something in him. Something he wanted to forget which was now he was jogging after thetiresyoung man and stopped when he caught up with him .
" Excuse me sir, can I ask you some questions? I am Detective Alexander Wolfe. No, you aren't it trouble I am just a bit concerned about your well being due to your obvious lack of sleep." Alex sighed looking at his watch but quickly turned his attention away from the time since his young man's safety was his priority at this moment. " Also, don't lie to me because you could be mistaken for having black eyes with the dsrk rings under your eyes. May I ask if you haven't anywhere to get some rest or help getying to a safe location" He said adjusting the case file under his right arms but he voice made it clear that he wasn't going to let Samson go even if the at means walking him all the way home or dragging him to his own house and giving him the spare bedroom. Nobody in this state of tiredness should be walking around. |

After the boy in the standoff ran off Hunter almost tripped but caught himself by leaning against the building but pushed off and watched the shorter boy and actually took in his appearance which made him realize that indeed, the shorter young man could be called attractive . Hunter raised a brow when he heard he suprising comment " Well, I might as well have a laugh out of it so why not strike a cliche pose to make it more interesting?" He smiled at the thought before walking torwards the boy and watching his hand. " Is it just a scratch or deep" Hunter asked rubbing the back of his slightly sweaty neck because it was almost friend but he still felt the need to Shower but it could be worse if he wasn't wearing plently of deodorant. A shower would feel nice now along with a cup pf coffee , not black of course . Black is disgusting and you have to have a bland soul to drink black coffee especially the strong stuff .Hunter eventaully snapped out of his thoughts " How did you manage to make them try to attack you with a box cutter?"
Of course, he didn't want a group of people to surround him with box cutters... Or maybe he did. Well anyways, he could only guess that it was his mouth was what gotten this boy into the problem he had before Hunter showed up. Hunter spotted a book ( I had no idea what happened to the book so I will just assume he dropped it unless he (unlike me ) has the skills to hold onto the book) that someone dropped and pickled it up before checking it out but clearly wasn't interested in it after he took a short look at it . Yes, he did read but was a bit of a picky reader to say the least and wasn't too much of a reader since he was only interested in certain books that caught is eyes. " Is this yours? If not then it is one of theirs but I honestly don't think they are the kind to read" Hunter commented with a shrug as he held the book out. |

Alex rolled his eyes but stubbornly followed Samson at a distance so he didn't feel pressured but making it clear as day he was being followed and wasn't giving up. He didn't mean to imply anything but his voice had other plans so now he didn't necessarily talk but just followed behi d the man since it was his job to keep him safe because if he was wrong about the young man than he would have to live with that mistake about how he just went home and assumed everything is fine...
Alex has made the mistake befire with someone close to him that effected his life and he watched his girlfriend jump off a building because he wasn't fast enough to reach before she could end her life. He could have gotten her help. He sighed and stuffed his hands into his pockets as his eyes never left Samson in case he tried to run or lose his trail but Alex knew better and he hoped he could out run the young man since Alex was physically fit and well muscled it shouldn't be a problem if that problem arises.
The the sound of wind rushing past him as a pair of headlights meant another car he began to zone out his surroundings except for the faint sound of foot steps from the young man he was following as he stopped realizing where they were heading. |
