Shani is a younger lioness with a long and lanky build, showing promise of growing into a large and magnificent lioness. Her fur is a rich tawny color resembling honey. Her long legs and tail are slightly darker. Shani also has longer fur around her neck and chest that somewhat resembles a short mane. She has a crescent-shaped scar on her right shoulder from being kicked by a wildebeast. Shani's eyes are a deep brown, almost to the point where its hard to discern her black pupil.

Shani spent most of her cub years as an outsider or prideless lion. She has a tough exterior and it takes time for her to open up. She is guarded and often quiet. She has a strong desire to please and prove herself to be useful. Shani is loyal and desires to join and become a dedicated member of the pride. Shani can tend to be sarcastic at times and it can be hard to tell whether she is jesting or being serious. She also hates injustice and has a tendency to try to right the wrongs she perceives.

Shani's mother was a nomad and a prideless lion. Her name was Shay. She and Shani's brother, Seth were the only lions that Shani grew up knowing. Shay never told Shani about her father or even who he was; just that he couldn't be bothered to be apart of their lives. She taught Shani everything she knew about living as a nomad and surviving on her own. When Shani was about a year and half old, Shay was tragically killed in a hunting accident when a raging hippopotamus mother charged Shani and Shay as they tried to drag away her calf.

Seth's loyalties lie with his sister as he has assumed the role of being her protective brother after their mother's tragic death

Appearance:

Seth is still an adolescent male lion, so his mane is sparse and not yet fully come in. His paws are massive, almost disproportionate to his overall frame. While he is still a lanky teenager, his build suggests future growth as an impressive and muscular adult. His fur is a rich cream color, a few shades lighter than his sister, Shani. His eyes are a shade that could best be described as mix between amber honey and deep green moss. He has a few small scars, one being across his nose ( a gift from Shani during one of their sparring matches as cubs) and the rest scattered on his shoulders and haunches.
