You can turn off the monthly events while training.

To be honest the only reason I train in teams is because I have too many mid-level wolves to train them all individually

Level 5 was great before it got updated, the higher levels get super difficult if there's a monthly event though :') My team usually dies early but at least I can do quests with my DG team if they do

Its better to save maybe 2000 mushrooms, make sure there is a lot of CP on the wolves, and then buy moves and buy blue jay feathers and just go through it. Yeah they'll die a decent amount of times, however, you'll make more mush for it in the end if your wolves have good cp

I understand that a lot of people think be training in forest 1-2 is better, but the higher level you go, the higher amount of prey/enemies there are.

When I joined the game a bunch of people did it in teams so I also just followed them:P
I usually explore in levels 17-22 of the forest for BE training in teams, maybe a little lower when they're just starting off but it works pretty well still

I've been exploring in teams of 3 in lvl 1/2 and put my highest BE wolves on defense to let the rookie handle things. Was just curious to know how other people trained their wolves

I kind of just explore like normal and it goes pretty good for me.

Hola!
~
Character sheet -

Name: Lola

-

Age: 3

-

Gender: Female
-

Description: Lola is a King Charles Spaniel with black fur trailing from the top of her head do her back. She has a clean white tail and stomach with some browns accents on her face. She keeps her coat very clean and is well groomed. Her eyes are dark brown and her ears are fairly long. She doesn’t have much muscle but is fairly lean and quick.

-

Personality: Lola is very sweet and overly welcoming to anyone she meets. She has big heart and is incredibly friendly. Due to her lack of experience outside of her back yard she doesn’t pick up on warning signs easily from other animals or humans. Her blind friendliness tends to get her into trouble. She is incredibly loyal to those she knows well and would gladly do anything for them. Because of the privilege she had being a domestic dog she’s incredibly oblivious to most struggles. Shes not very aware of what’s going on around her and her survival skills are very minimal. But she is very curious and scavenging is a strong suit of hers which got her in trouble with her owners often.

Here's my guy
~
Name: Pendugo
~
Age: 4
~
Gender: Male
~
Appearance:
Pendugo has a hazel coat that drapes over him like a overcoat. Along his neck the hazel dissolves into dark drown/black jaw, with the hazel continuing over his forehead to his upper jawline. He has high black socks which stretch all the way up his legs, and his belly is slightly lighter coloured than anything else he has. He has dark green eyes and weighs about 90 pounds (I live in a country where we use kilograms, so I'm estimating...)
~
Personality:
Pendugo is an independent character that will occasionally form strong bonds with those he chooses to associate himself with. To most other people, he seems like someone who wouldn't be the greatest of friends, but to those who know him he really associates himself with those he forms bonds with. Examples of this might be his fellow pack-mates that he is friends with.
Pendugo mainly won't care about anything that doesn't affect him or anyone in his inner circle of friends. When something does, however, Pendugo has a fiery will and will defend his friends - sometimes with more passion than he would defend himself. Pendugo is loyal to his friends.
If we are talking in figurative terms, amongst other wolves Pendugo has a lot of bark but no bite. (If we are talking literal terms, that is definitely not the case.) He has a fiery disposition that others may feel to be slightly unpleasant and overboard, but to those who know or understand him is one aspect of himself that they accept. To those in his inner circle, that disposition is drastically reduced.
In literal terms, Pendugo does have a decent amount of bite (and bark).
~
Likes:
Pendugo enjoys concentration games. For example, he excels in ths slow dance of hunting - the concentration required to sneak up on and find a single animal of prey, be that big or small. In fact, generally he enjoys the hunting part more than the eating part - although it is a definite bonus to be eating too!
Pendugo also definitely prefers colder weather, and doing things by himself. Sometimes a solitary creature, this is only different when he is with others that he trusts.
~
Dislikes:
Pendugo is poor at collaborating with other wolves that aren't in his circle of friends. He tends to be awkward, uncomfortable, and generally tries to do his own thing if he must collaborrate with wolves outside his comfort zone. Granted, he may form connections with them and eventually be comfortable with them, but if he is forced to work with people he isn't familiar with, not only does he not like that but he will perform remarkably poor in it, sometimes even choosing to just go off and do his own thing.
