Colette smiled and nodded, walking through the mall with her head held high. She knew she was a large figure in the world, and was soon to become an even bigger one when their companies were officially combined. While she didn't let on about it, Colette knew more about the business world than one would realize. Her father was just cautious to give his daughter the reigns just yet. Though that was most likely because he'd planned to marry her off all along. As they entered the store with the dresses, her excitement shown in her eyes. Sure, she hadn't exactly been all for getting married, but the thrill of it was starting to get to her. Every woman's wedding day was the best day of her life, right? Colette looked up at Jace, studying him for a moment while he asked his question. "Hmm, probably something more tasteful, perhaps with a bit of lace," she said thoughtfully, though wondering what was on his mind. "Are you alright? You seem.. nervous," she asked softly, a slightly concerned look on her face. |

Jace Jace smiled at her taste in dresses. He felt warm when he was able to please her wants. His mind was off wandering though. Not very focused on the dresses or what was happening around him. But quickly his focus snapped back to her as she asked if he was nervous. His heart skipped a beat at her concern. He raised his hand up to rub his temples, "I'm okay, crowds just make me agitated." Jace enjoyed her care for him. He wasn't used to it but he enjoyed it. It made him exhilarate and ease. "Come on let's look around." He gave a more assuring smile before leading her off to a more secluded area full of lacey, long, flowy dresses. His mind wandered what she would look like in them. He could feel his breath hitch and his cheeks burn. The image of her in such a beautiful dress as his wife had made his whole body freeze up in awe. Jace let his mind wander more not being able to control it. "Her, as my wife, mine, and all mine..." He realized how possessive he sounded in his head. "Gah, I sound terrible..." Jace hissed to himself before realizing he was still with Colette. If only she could read his mind. |

Colette smiled softly, nodding to his words. She used to be like that, but as she got older she started coming out of her shell. She followed him as he led her to a different section, her hand securely within his as they walked. There were so many gorgeous dressed in the store, only raising her excitement. She began to think about what it would be like to walk down the aisle towards Jace, dressed to the nines. To think, within a short amount of time, he'd be her husband. Slowly, Colette let go of his hand, walking towards the racks of dresses. Her gaze seemed to gravitate towards the ones that were frame fitted with lace details around the necklines and sleeves. "They're all so beautiful," she hummed, a soft smile ever present on her face as she stood with her back turned to Jace. |

Jace Jace smiled at her excitement, "And you can have any one you want." His smile charmed at her. He wanted to buy anything she wanted for her. Something possessed him to please her no matter what. He couldn't blame himself. She was a rabbit, so beautiful yet bound to loose control. He wanted to give her that control. Let her rule her own kingdom. Let her command him to oblige to her wishes. Jace could feel his mind slipping off into coldness. But his eyes shifted up as he noticed Colette nudging at a few more specific dresses. His eyes loomed over them a smirk perking up on his lips, "Sure you wanna wear one of those around Morgan?" Jace walked closer to Colette resting his hands on her hips and his head on her shoulder. "So, any catch your eye princess?" He teased. |

Colette smiled at his words, her heart jumping as he told her she could have any one that she wanted. Sure, she was used to buying whatever she pleased, but the satisfaction of knowing that he wanted to buy her anything was euphoric. A subtle gasp left her lips as she felt his hands upon her hips, but she melted into his touch, her breathing hitching ever so slightly. She wondered if he even knew what he was doing to her. "Mmhm, I'd only be showing him something he'll never have," she murmured, her hands resting slightly on top of his. A small shudder ran down her spine at the nickname and she was almost positive that he would have felt it. "Absolutely," she hummed, one of her hands reaching out to feather over a specific gown. It was form fitting with a small train to give her room in the legs. It had a slightly plunging neckline with lace trimming to match the off the shoulder sleeves. |

Jace Jace let himself sink into her sass and confidence. It felt assuring to him. Letting him feel comfort in how easily she could hold sturdy. He was glad he shouldn't and wouldn't have to worry about his brother. Jace eyed the dress she seemed to have more intrest in this certain one, "I like that one. Looks like it would fit you well. Pretty white lace lining your best traits.." He rasped to her perking a grin at how her whole behavior changed when he was bold. His voice dragged on creating a captivating, breath hitching rust in it. Deep, firm and warm. It wasn't like him to do such bold actions. But over time he got more confident and felt more comfortable. He wouldn't let her be teased and not praised at the same time. And he certainly wasn't going to stop her princess treatment because he got shy. He wanted to please her young attitude. If she wanted firm and bold he'd be just that, or soft, and comforting then he'd love her like that. He had changed his whole self for her. It only took some thinking, time, and confidence. That didn't mean he wasn't soft. He still wanted to cry into her arms if she'd let him. He'd do anything for her. Jace wanted to show her he wasn't all cold. But thoughtful and willing to do anything for her. |

Everything about the way Jace was holding her was so captivating. His hands lightly yet firmly against her body, his breath warm on her neck... Beautifully suffocating. There was something about the way it felt that made her anticipate being his. No man had ever been enough for Colette to be willing to give in to, but now there was Jace. And that voice, oh god, that voice. It made her cheeks turn a pretty shade of pink, her own breathing hitching audibly. "Is that so?" She hummed, biting onto her lower lip gently. He made her feel so soft and sensitive and she loved it. Colette turned her head towards him, her breathing soft and steady. "If you like then I'll be more than happy to wear it," she murmured, her hands once more resting ever so lightly on top of his. He made her want to be better. To fall in love and be the perfect wife who was there when ever he needed her. It felt so right. |

Jace Jace let a smirk spread on his lips as he felt her shudder. He quickly changed his sly actions and let himself be more tolerable. He didn't want to make her too flustered she couldn't speak. When Colette answered back teasingly he could hear her butterflies lurching her stomach. It made him smile with a bit of pride and awe. Jace knew how to treat a woman because if he wanted to keep them from Morgan he had to treat them far better than Morgan ever could. "It would, it lines your waist snatching it in the most graspable way. Neck shallow and sweet like. Showing the clear, sensitive stems to you. And the veil lacey and perfect for you.." Jace stopped his praise hearing her mutters and within seconds he turned her around and tilted her chin up. "No, you will wear it only if you like it princess. It's your decision, don't let me take that from you." He ordered with a look of firm yet sincere boldness in his eyes. Jace stared into her eyes going silent. His look now in awe. It was for a flicker then he snapped back to her. "Now are you sure you want that one? Or perhaps another?" Jace asked politely as he let her chin go. All trace of that disappearing within a flash. - (Now this is the cold I should have been) |

Colette loved how easily he made her swoon as well. It was though he could say all the right things to make her completely melt. She could have purred as he described how the dress would highlight her best attributes and a small smirk played at her lips. Something told her she'd come to crave the way it felt to have him grab her at the waist. She hadn't the time to reply before he'd spun her around to face him, her wide eyes staring back up at him in slight surprise. The firmness in his voice was something she wasn't quite used to, but a part of her didn't mind either. Of course she'd only wear the dress if she loved it, but knowing what he thought of it made it all the better. Colette remained with her gaze trained up on Jace, a glimmer of adoration still shining in her eyes. "I'm sure.. It's the one," she said softly, nodding her head as she tucked her hair behind her ear with a smile. It felt like the right one to go with as she could imagine herself walking down the aisle in the very dress.

Jace Jace let his expression fall back into a calm subtle look. "Then we'll get it." He muttered then walked off to a worker. The worker shivered and shook in his presence but was more than happy to ring up the dress. The worker managed to chirp out the price, "And... your total comes to..." Jace gave glare, "Spit it out." The poor girl squeaked out, "3,459.99 cents..." Jace smiled sarcastically at her then slipped his card to her. His eyes never left Colette for more than a second. He loved how she had the cute, over excited smile on her face. Like she couldn't stop herself from beaming and making the whole room glow. The register made a ding of approval and then the girl uneasily handed the card back. He could see her trembling. "Would you liked it shipped sir?" The girl muttered, "Mhm," Jace hummed then gave his address and more information needed. Once he was finally done he circled back to Colette, "Now, anything else you want to look at princess?" Jace asked softly, his eyes soared into hers. Not letting them leave hers for a second. He didn't search, he just adored. Somehow just somehow he was forced to be with someone so perfect. |
