Freyja Eloquijm is rumored to be a descendent of the goddesses Aphrodite and Hera. However, this could very well just be an inside joke and lore created by other students of the school in reference to her seductive prowess and charm. She is a very fiery woman who is in her third year in the upper level of the academy, though she has been here since she was seven or eight. Not much is known about her background, or the years of her childhood leading up to her entrance into the academy. At the time, the admissions director claimed to be her uncle, but he has since died an untimely death as a result of some politics with the dark magic outside of the school. It was said to be an accident, but the few people that were there knew differently. No one will say what really happened. One of the others that was there was Henriik, who started dating her shortly after. He is the only child of the owner of the academy, and has stepped up in protecting her and keeping her safe for the last several years. They are certainly the "it" couple of the school. . It is not known what realm she is from, but her powers involve fire manipulation and generation, giving her the ability to create and manipulate fire. She also has the ability to use fire to aid her movement and the movement of others. She is not always in control of her power and her rage, which sometimes results in people getting burned. People with the earth and healing elements can heal wounds inflicted by her within twelve hours. Water elements are lethal to her, and when working together with the powers of air elements, she increases her power exponentially. . As far as school politics, Freyja has a reputation for being one of the most popular girls, if not THE queen bee. Many people avoid her for fear of crossing her, but everyone knows who she is and her position of power. Alongside Henriik, she is untouchable, as is he. They rule the school entirely. Though the is cold with many people, she is especially vicious towards [insert name], and nobody knows why. They have been rivals for longer than anyone else has been at the school. A select one or two people recall a time long ago when Freyja was friendly to many, but no one knows what caused her drastic change. If they do, no one will speak on it at all. |

Henriik Delamater is the son of the school's owner, and is virtually untouchable. He is an overachiever, being involved in almost all of the academic clubs and just about every sport the academy offers. He appears to many to be good at everything he tries his hand at, so many have joked over the years that one of the old witches in the woods casted a 'success' spell on him. Nobody actually has any clue how he manages all of that, plus the pressure his father puts on him. Despite this, he is a fairly humble and quiet guy. He always seems as if he has a lot to say, but he never speaks. His facial expressions are very expressive, and the girls consider him to be somewhat mysterious. They want to "fix" him, while the guys at the school envy him and challenge him often. . Matching his quiet temperament, Henriik has powers involving the generation and manipulation of air, and much more. Only the fire element has the power to challenge him and leave him powerless, but together the pair of them are able to strengthen their power exponentially. Likewise, he is able to be the catalyst for massive power surges when he combines with the earth and water powers. Not much has an effect on him. He is able to create strong gusts of winds and even manipulate the weather when combined with both water and earth elements. However, there is not much he can do with his element on his own, which leaves him vulnerable and dependent on others. This is a source of discomfort in his life, though he hides it well. He is Freyja's girlfriend, and they are definitely the "it" couple of the academy and have been for years. |

Sala Preece is one of two new recruits to the academy on the two scholarships allocated for people who wouldn't otherwise be able to afford it. Nobody knows a great amount about where she came from or what realm, but it is suspected that it is one of the faerie realms based on her lilting accent and preppy, bright nature. Her powers involve light, and sometimes when she gets too excited or happy she accidentally blinds people temporarily. She is also pretty clumsy, and misuses her powers unintentionally. The reason she got the scholarship was because she is, to quote the owner of the school, "one of, if not the most gifted student that has walked through these doors." She is very gifted and finds school to be a breeze. Her peppy and altruistic nature can cause her to end up doing work for others, though, and it is difficult for her to distinguish boundaries. She loves helping people and tutoring, which is a job she's taken on here as a part of her scholarship. |

Máxime Vandervall is the other scholarship student from this year. Because he is tall, dark, handsome, and brooding, many rumors have circulated about him from the day he walked in. Darkness seems to follow him wherever he goes, and he is very much a loner type. He keeps to himself and avoids the droves of girls looking to get him to give just a glance in their direction. The rumor that is most widely accepted is that he came from the earthly realm, which is a very rare and unheard-of occurrence. If it's true, he's the only one other than in legends and fairytales. . As the rumor goes, he was planted on earth by magical parents, or even spontaneously spawned powers as a fluke. Nobody has ever heard of this happening before, so the former is more accepted. Apparently he lived as an orphan for the first seventeen years of his life, bouncing from foster home to foster home. He finally met his "real" father at eighteen, but something happened to the man shortly after. Máx is rumored to have spiraled downward and unleashed his powers that night, damaging that realm beyond control. That's why the school decided to select him, as an act of damage control between realms. No one knows who started this rumor or why, but skeptics write it off as something the non-scholarship recipients created to make themselves feel better about their situation. . Máx's powers involve darkness and shattering things. Nobody really knows exactly what he's capable of, but the professors are blatantly both eager to test him and petrified of what he may be capable of. He is a fairly average student, if not one who is failing. |

Arah Blake is one of the oldest members of the school, having been here for eight years. She joined the same year as Freyja and Henriik, making her one of the core four. It seems everyone else has been cast off for one reason or another, and at the very least, the three of them are jaded and suspicious, if not afraid of the power of the academy's institution and authority. She is Freyja's only friend other than Henriik. She is actually fairly close with Lun, at least in comparison to Henriik and Freyja. The four of them used to be very close and no one knows why that changed except them. She is also close with Freyja, but very suspicious of and bitter with Henriik for reasons no one understands. After she was involved in an event at the end of last semester, the core four are fearful of what her fate will be this semester following the coverup, and why nothing catastrophic has happened yet. She is Freyja's roommate. |

Edward Strauss is a very interesting figure. While he is the same year as the core four, he is actually millions of years old and is one of the oldest gods, shapeshifting into the body of a handsome, athletic young man. Only a couple people take him seriously when he says this, many think it's his sarcasm as many things with him are. However, he is a very devious and manipulative guy with a cunning streak. He is able to manipulate anything he wants, including time, space, and human organs. He is very cocky, and though he is a popular, party boy figure, the smarter students keep as far away from him as possible. The only reason people typically approach him is if they need power no one else in any realm is capable of possessing. However, everything with Edward comes with a price. |

Ruairi (Rur-ee) Craiel Ruairi is certainly known to reflect both the alluring beauty and lethal danger an ocean possesses. On the surface, and to most, Ruairi is a charismatic entity that has situated himself within the academy since his youth. He’s the type to share little about himself -leaving his past and more personal information unknown to most-, but he has a knack for uprooting dirty secrets and buried truths in others. Weaponizing information is something Ruairi does carefully, and only if he really is pining for something particular from someone. The longest of any romantic relationship Ruairi has been involved in lasted no more than a few weeks, but it’s definitely no secret that he’s a flirty, promiscuous young man. Jokes aside of Ruairi being the spawn of the sea itself, it’s relatively unclear where exactly he hails. However, he wields the element of water with pride, and rather ‘fluidly’ as one might say. While he finds it more convenient and far easier to manipulate water already in existence (such as in plants, people, etc.), he can conjure it into existence… however it’s far more taxing. Few times -and for self-serving purposes- has Ruairi ever moved water from a person’s bloodstream and into their lungs to choke (and nearly drown), but he’s never let it escalate past a few seconds worth. While Ruairi is aware of the expansion of power his ability will receive should he pair with another element, he’s simply not interested in cooperating with others. Being as self-assured as Ruairi is, he’s unbothered by not being at the top of the food chain. Partly because he’s not motivated enough to apply himself to achieving greater things, but also because he knows what he’s capable of… and that’s enough to satisfy him. Of course he’s gifted enough to receive few throwaway comments and praise here and there, but Ruairi conceals most of what he’s capable of when it comes to intelligence and his affinity with using water. He’s a strategist first and foremost, and very few academy goers even know just how enriched and scarily gifted he is in solving complex puzzles, developing inventive chess maneuvers, and using even the simplest items available to him to create complex mechanics. Why Ruairi doesn’t want his intelligence known is a mystery, but those that do know what he is capable of aren’t likely to ever say a word in fear of his less than moral retaliation. The greatest thing that probably puzzles others about Ruairi is why he isn’t involved in any water-esque sports… considering he adores water so greatly. And honestly, Ruairi loathes that he can’t participate on swim or dive teams, but he passionately despises the person responsible for this even more so… Freyja. Only Ruairi knows why he dislikes her so deeply, but the burn on his mid to lower back is a constant reminder to him. Appearance: Standing confidently at 6’2, Ruairi’s build is fairly proportional, though he isn’t one to have an abundance of muscle. At most he’s toned, but otherwise he’s just complementary thin. His pride isn’t unfounded when it comes to his looks either, as he certainly has a well-defined facial structure that could incite envy from other masculine figures, and inspire attraction in female counterparts. Ruairi’s hair is a curlier honeyed blond; with wisps curtaining his forehead, curling around his ears, and a few tufts resting on the nape of his neck. It pairs nicely with his deep, cerulean blue tinted orbs that also possess a more vibrant teal flecking around his iris’. His complexion is that of a lighter beige, paired with neutral undertones. Floki Bielke Such a man of many hats is Floki, but he is certainly one talented fellow. While he’s most doted on for his musical intelligence and greatly evident gifts within the realm of music, he’s still the subject of playful gossip pertaining to him being the reincarnation of the afamed trickster god Loki. And considering his old elven descent, and lovely Nordic-esque accent… that might not be too far of a stretch. Especially considering his impish, playful, and ultimately tricky nature. He’s a very animated and dramatic male, and could be considered quite an amusing entity to be around. Being friendly, and aligning as a social drifter allows Floki to avoid making too close of attachments, but still gives him the ability to circulate enough to satisfy his need for socialization. Floki is fluent in manipulating sound, and even altering it. Tones that are generally considered undetectable to most ears are things Floki can hear with ease as well. And as a one-man-band and skilled musician, his magic with sound is something he is evidently prideful and boastful about. He’s more inclined to show off than he is to use his ability to ever harm, although he is quite capable of using sound to wreak havoc on others' auditory senses. He’s a creature that appears a bit more nimble, and is probably best suited for running… but that won’t stop him from backing down from a fight he’s destined to lose. This male has a near perfect onyx tinted coloration of hair, with it being just short of true black when it’s under brighter lights. Floki’s eyes are a bright and piercing shade of jade, with a few oak colored flecks littered in the green of his eyes as well. |
