Hayden stood there with wide eyes, clutching the little kitten to his chest. He glanced distrustfully at the wolf. "I don't mind cats of any size, but that wolf..." He trailed off, and lowered the kitten to the ground.
"Don't get hurt little miss." He turned and looked around, enjoying the scenery.
"How often do you stay here? And how are we going to find your true love if we're in the middle of nowhere?" He glanced at the house.
"Also, how many bedrooms do you have?" |

Eclipse chuckled. Hayden sure had a lot of questions. "I stay here quite often, more often than I stay in my city house actually. I really only stay there when I really need to, usually when I have to tutor early for a couple days. My job was tutoring about drawing and writing, and the days I tutor get scheduled - through a phone that a friend built and programmed for me so that it couldn't be tracked." He took a deep breath before sighing, as he didn't really know how he was going to find his fated other. "I... don't know. I believe when I was younger, I was told that if a Shifter hadn't found their fated other yet, that they would sometimes get a feeling of the general location or direction they were in. Other than that, I dunno." Eclipse grinned, starting to get his things out of the car. "There's four total. All have their own bathrooms." Once he had everything of his with him, he headed into the house, knowing that Hayden would follow him once he got his own things. |

Hayden grabbed his few bags, and followed Eclipse towards the house, still processing. Since he had a technical mind, all the strange things about shapeshifters didn't make a lick of sense to him, but he assumed that Eclipse could hopefully figure that part out. He was most likely going to be a sidekick on this adventure, and he didn't mind that. It would be fun to hang out and reconnect with his childhood friend, and then he could go home, and life would go back to normal. He'd have college classes, his house to run, the cat to deal with. He tossed his suitcase into a bedroom, and came out of the door too fast, smacking into Eclipse. "I'm so sorry. Apparently, I can't stay on my own two feet for more than 24 hours."
Thankfully, since the rooms were down a hallway, Eclipse hadn't fallen over, he'd just been shaken up a little. Hayden walked to the kitchen and looked out the window again. He absolutely adored the scenery, and wished he could paint. He would want a huge painting of the trees, that bent just a little over the path, making it look like a fairyland. He mentally smack himself. What the heck man? He wasn't usually so sappy. He brushed himself down and turned around. |
