Harlow sighs, fixing her coat as she walked out of the building where she worked. She was a dog groomer, and days were quite stressful to say the least. It would be getting dark soon, and she had to make the half a mile trek home before that happened. Something caught her eye however: a mark- the mark. The shifter mark! Harlow had read about this, and never thought something like this would come to her attention. It was a rare sight in the city, but otherwise? No way to tell real from fake. Cautiously she walks over to the figure, trying to stay light as she spoke. "Oh- hello? May I talk to you for a second?" She inquires, hoping that no one else had yet noticed.

Eclipse startled. "Uh- Yes? How may I help you?" She spoke nervously, already thinking about all the what-ifs. She fidgeted with her cloak, wanting to get home as soon as possible. There was plenty of reason to be worried and anxious. She was a shifter, after all. But others couldn't know. Eclipse had a normal life. That is, until her Mark appeared and she could no longer shift properly. Well, not until she found her soulmate. There was also a streak in her black hair...

Harlow simply radiated with similar paranoia, but she knew. She decided that just leaving now would be rude. "I'm sorry for have bothered you in the first place, but if I must put it simply.." With a quite glance around, she leans a little closer. "There have been quite a few bounty hunters out lately. You'd be a prize, if you know what I mean." She mumbles the last part, figuring she got the point across. Oh god, what if this is all just a hoax? Harlow couldn't shake the thought, but how likely really was that? She ddint know.

Eclipse tensed. How did she know? Then she realized. The Mark. She didn't cover it! She was lucky she had a cloak to hide her... features. But the Mark... If anyone else saw it, she'd end up like... her family. "I can... I can trust you, right?"

Harlow felt like she had messed up for a split second, and then realized what else could've happened. "Of course. I wouldn't be telling you if you couldnt! Now hurry up and come with me. I can help." She explains quickly, noticing that she was kind of drawing attention. "Unless you want to end up on the news.." She jokingly adds- but the last time a shifter was seen? Ended up on all the big billboards, with a hefty reward. Just like always. "I studied everything I could find about this."

Eclipse looked at the slightly shorter woman, hesitating for a moment before nodding. "Alright. But if you wanna help me or take me somewhere, I have to get my things. Nothing of mine can be left behind for others, or I will be in big trouble... But don't worry, I don't have much. My clothes can fit with all my belongings." She stood there for a moment, then whispered "Mama, Papa, please let this be the right thing to do..."

Harlow nods in understanding. She knew the whole ordeal, the fact that certain things came and went. "Okay. Take me there, I'm sure where I'm going isnt too far. Perhaps I should mention the thing.? No, it will be fine. For now at least. No one needs to know about the issues just yet. All it is is a piece of paper anyways.. It was a sort of journal she had found in the woods a while back, and wasnt sure if it was of importance or not, so she just kept it.

Eclipse nodded again. "It's not that far. Let's go." She then took the other's hand and started running in the direction of her house. Minutes later, they arrived at the house. Stopping in front of the door to fish out her keys, she took them and unlocked the house. Stepping aside, she beckoned the other to go in. "You first." Feel free to say anything about the inside of the house

"Oh okay-" At least Harlow was wearing the right shoes for this and not flats or something. She sighs when they stopped running, peering curiously inside the house before slowly walking inside. It didnt seem to be much, but she could already spot a few things that would be a dead giveaway to someone who knew about shifters. "How long have you been here..?" Harlow asks quickly.
