"Why though? Are they trying to challenge you?" She asked as she was puzzling the pieces together to make her understand better.

"Yes they did once when my father was Alpha. There were three. He wouldnt let anyone fight them but him. He nearly died Bloom, and I dont want it to happen to you." He told her.

"I understand Hondo but what if he comes back? Whenever I want to be alone sometime of course you have a job to do back at the camp." She said

"If he comes back, howl with all your might. I'll never let him hurt you." He said nuzzling her. "I'll run as fast as I can and protect you with my life." He bowed to her.

Bloom smile's as she puts her head down and nuzzles Hondo she was happy to be with him.

Meanwhile Valtor was watching from a far distance his teeth bared. "Soon you won't have a family but I will have to wait." He said as he went into shadow's of the forest.

"Lets go back, I'll have to send out both a patrol and hunting party." He looked at Bloom. "Maybe we could talk about pups later?" He asked

Bloom just nodded and started walking back to the pack. Even though she had a very different personality then Hondo she still needs to help the pack out anyway she can.

"Pack to me!" He bellowed across the clearing. "I have called you here to announce my new mate, and your new Alpha Female!" He put his head against hers. Happy to finnaly have a mate.

Hati bowed to the new Alpha female.

Bloom snuggles underneath Hondo's head until she steps back a bit and sitting down looking at the rest of the pack members.

Harbor and Sneaker bowed, and so did the rest of the pack. Hondo stepped forward. "Harbor, Sneaker and Ha to please go hunting. And Blaze, Prince, and Anora go patrolling, and beware of the loner, if he is in our territory kill him." Then he turned and stalked off towards his and Bloom's den.
