Gabriel has the ability to summon divine flames of judgment at his will. They take a blinding light that none but an angel can look directly at; the rest of the room will be visible, but bathed in light.
It’s a common form of judgment for prisoners of uncertain character among angels. The flame decides the fate of the subject — if they are deemed “bad”, they take an unimaginably high temperature hotter than any mortal flame, though if they are deemed “good”, they will mend the subject’s wounds (within reasonability).
Strengths: It’s a powerful ability in a battle and good at stunning anyone as long as it takes to look away and blink away the spots in your eyes.
Weaknesses: The ability is only available when he has his angel power activated, which is incredibly difficult for him as a thing he discovered today. Whether the flames deem the person’s character “good” or “bad” is also a gamble, as that’s completely up to the flame. He attempts to avoid using the ability on allies in fear of it making the wrong judgment on the wrong person, though the risk is equally there for enemies he does not want to heal.

Personality: Gabriel is a warm person from the very moment you meet him. He’s friendly, very much a happy-go-lucky personality with the energetic way he greets everyone. He’s one of those people who seems to know a person everywhere and anywhere from his pure social prowess — he can go anywhere and start up a chat like they’re lifelong friends, and being more than willing to have the burden of keeping contact lie on him, he’s stayed friends with countless people for years. He adores talking to anyone and has a special skill in figuring out how to befriend people because of it. If they don’t want to be friends, then they’re certainly underestimating how persistent this man can be.
If people are ever afraid to do something, he’ll usually do it for them, always being the most extroverted one in the group. He goes out of his way to, in fact — if you have some sort of problem, you can always ask him and he’d be happy to help. He’s a pretty damn smart person and incredibly good with Google, so he can figure out solutions fairly quickly.
Though Gabriel can come off as stupid in some interactions (and they’d probably be at least a little bit right), he’s an incredibly clever and level-headed guy. He can keep his cool in most situations, always being one to think things through the way he’d normally do no matter how high his emotions are running. That doesn't necessitate that his decisions are all good ones — no, no, many decisions he makes are still pretty stupid. The only thing that’s guaranteed is that he does not do things on impulse, and he can usually bring people down from recklessness because of this.
After all, if he just let these things happen, then people would be disappointed in him. He cannot handle people being disappointed in him.
He’s very much a people-pleaser in that regard — always trying to get people to like him, always trying to earn and maintain their trust. He keeps his cool because his parents keep their cool, and if they can, then he can, too — he doesn’t want to let them down, after all. He can never let anyone down.
Gabriel’ll usually take charge in a situation where people are scared in order to avoid that situation — a situation where people are hurt, where people need someone to lean on. He’ll take on people’s worries and burdens to earn their trust, and he’ll take on more and more until he crumbles under the weight, and then he’ll pretend its all okay and he can handle it just fine because if he dares to reveal that it isn’t then they’ll have to deal with those burdens all over again and they’ll be let down. He can figure it all out for them. It’ll be fine, it’ll be fine.
He’s gotten incredibly good at pretending he knows what he’s doing when he doesn’t.
Strengths:
+ Cool-Headed :: Gabriel has the ability to keep his cool in virtually any and every situation. While that doesn't necessarily mean every decision he makes is a good one, it certainly means that he doesn't do anything any more impulsive than he'd usually do. ::
+ Book-Smart :: Being an upcoming med student and a remarkably fast reader, he can very much be considered book smart. He can conceptualize things easily and has a pretty damn good work ethic, at that. +
+ Social Prowess :: Being a people-pleaser, Gabriel is incredibly skilled at befriending people. He also knows people in most major cities and countries (though all of varying levels of closeness), which comes in handy during travel. ::
Weaknesses:
- Witless :: Having focused all of his life on social and academic abilities, Gabriel has little to no idea on how to actually survive. He can be naive at times, falling for things most people wouldn’t, and he generally has no situational understanding. The main reason he’s alive right now is good karma. -
- Physically Weak :: Gabriel has little to no muscle, leading to him being a terrible fighter or lifter. -
- “I’m Fine” Syndrome :: Gabriel has a tendency to bite off more than he can chew and then keep quiet about it afterwards. Arguably, the worst part about it is that he is an incredibly good pretender, so whenever he experiences stress, it’ll almost always be impossible to tell until he’s already completely broken down. ::
Quirks: He has a habit of fidgeting with the hem of his shirt when anxious, a habit he attempts to supress around people who recognize it. It still slips through the cracks, though, sometimes.

Physical Description: Gabriel is a man with a remarkably average build, standing at a height of 5’7” with a figure that could best be described as a thin rectangle. He isn’t emaciated by any means, having a healthy amount of fat on him and full cheeks, though he’s still certainly skinny, at least enough to define his collarbone. He’s more on the lithe side than gangly, possessing nimble fingers, long legs and thin wrists and ankles, though a lack of muscle or curve cements his reputation of perfectly average in form.
He more than makes up for it in how he presents himself, though. He puts special attention in caring for himself — his dark brown hair acts as a good example in particular, how it’s washed to be as pristine and soft as possible, falling in waves over his ears. Blonde highlights lighting up some strands gives him a perpetual look of being bathed in sunlight. The brown and gold act to brighten warm hazel eyes, lit up with similar specks of gold within. He has sun-kissed skin, dark and kept in perfect shape, painted with freckles that cover the whole of his body. His actual facial features are relatively lackluster -- he has a roman nose, thin and somewhat weak eyebrows and lips that are somewhere between medium and full with a larger bottom one. Still, extensive skin and hair care as well as a pristine wardrobe help to bring out his best traits.
Attire: Gabriel usually dresses to appear friendly, owning a lot of t-shirts, jackets, and pants made of soft materials or straight sweatpants. Though he usually dons casualwear for this reason, everything he wears has a level of purposefulness to it. Caring a lot about first impressions, he takes just about half an hour carefully picking his outfit in the morning, making sure it matches perfectly with his looks (he has a preference for earthy colors like green, gold and brown with white as an accent).
He’s extra careful to ensure all his clothes are in pristine shape and he sews every rip — it’s led to him keeping his clothes for incredibly long times. He gets pretty damn upset when they get ruined because of it. He’s still happy whenever he gets new clothes, but he’s fairly attached to every outfit he wears.
Accessories: Gabriel is typically found with a few delicate gold bracelets around his right wrist, given to him as good-luck charms from his father. He tucks a necklace from his mother underneath every shirt he wears, and he swaps between accessories given to him by friends almost every day.
He has two piercings on the earlobes of each ear, switching between earrings semi-regularly. He’s a fan of exploration, so he’s been seen with a shit ton of different times — his most recent pairs, however, are just simple golden studs.
