Emelote finally finishes up and settles down beside the others, who had moved on from talking about getting out the other guild and instead on how they managed to escape and not get caught. Maddi nods at Emelote,"You used your magic, didn't you?" Emelote grins,"Yeah. I've pissed off a Mask ever since, but it's worth it." Maddi and Kieran exchange a laugh as Emelote shrugs. Then Anivia returns, four medium sized rabbits in her beak. Emelote grins,"Thanks, girl." Within minutes she had a fire going and all four rabbits cooking over it. The five still just chatting and having a good time as the meal cooks. Anivia resting on Emelote's shoulder, half asleep. |

Joshua carried his food to his house, and sure it was small, but since he was the only one living there, there was no need to it to be bigger. He placed the food down onto the table before taking an apple and chowing down on it, leaving only a core which he tossed into a little waste bin that he made. As he put everything away, he looked at his Mask and attire, which elicited a flashback of Emelote getting away. How many more tricks does that girl have in that bag of hers? He sat down on a seat and leaned back, trying to calm down his mind. |

Within ten minutes the food was ready and Emelote passes out the meat. All five got some and soon they were quiet to busy eating to talk. Though Emelote's mind was racing, the quicker that they got the Guild out of prison the quicker that life could get back to normal. Besides what could the Masks possibly do without the Guild? They needed the Guild to have a job, all the other criminals did nothing compared to the Guild. Besides you needed dark to have light, you couldn't have one without the other. Emelote sighs to herself as she takes another bite of the rabbit. |

After a couple of minutes to think about the situation he was currently in, he got back up and walked out the door. But instead of walking down one of Cille's many streets, he began to walk out of town, towards the farms that made the outskirts of the town. I remember running through the fields when I was younger. Simpler times then... He walked without much purpose in his movements, not sure what he was out there for but maybe it would do him some good to clear his mind and get away from the one place that was causing him so much stress. That girl... I need to catch her myself and make sure that I'm not losing my touch in being a competant Mask. |

Soon the five finish dinner and some head off to use the restrooms, while the rest just hung around the fire. Not really talking, and just lounging. Emelote lowers Anivia to the ground, the phoenix shifting as she was moved. Emelote then leans back, humming to herself as she closes her eyes. It was late, and this was the first time that she had spent the night in this hideout in a long time. Emelote smiles to herself, it had been simpler back then. Ryan had been in his 20s and Emelote had just been about 10. Emelote reaches out with her hand to pet Anivia, the phoenix preening under the touch. |

Joshua continued to walk around for some time as the sun started to dip below the horizon. Eventually he found a rock to sit on and leaned back, looking up at the sky as the stars were starting to shine bright against the darkening sky. As the peace and quiet surrounded him, his mind began to wander to his past; more specifically about his parents. Was it the correct choice for them to take me away? Sure it was really dangerous... but should they have followed me as well? It was so long since he moved to the town of Cille he could no longer remember the name of his birth town, which did make him feel like he lost a part of himself. |

Emelote suddenly sits up, muttering to Maddi. "Hey, I'm gonna go for a walk. Anivia will keep a lookout for anything. No one should come around here, but if they do just hide." Maddi nods and Emelote gets to her feet, giving the phoenix one last scratch before slipping out. She begins to roam the quiet outskirts as the sun dipped lower and lower, lost in her thoughts as she wanders. Just barely paying attention enough to make sure she didn't wander too far or didn't get attacked or ambushed. |

Joshua watched the sun as it dived farther down into the horizon, the pallette of colors that nature had on full display. What a pretty sight to see. No wonder some people pursue a career in the arts. He sat up from the rock he was leaning against and got up, knowing that the moon would be up when he finally went home. After a brief stretch, he began to slowly walk back to Cille, ready to go to sleep and get to the next day. |

Emelote continues her stroll, and as she weaves through town. She accidentally stumbles across someone else. Her eyes land on him and she goes stiff, his aura... It was the Mask. Emelote's dark blue eyes flare gold as she prepares to use her magic. But then her eyes return to normal, she was still drained from her earlier use of magic. Emelote warily studies the Mask before her, he was now without a mask, which meant he was off duty. Or at least that was what Emelote was guessing. Why else would one of the king's special guard be so far from the main part of Cille without his mask. Emelote was ready to flee at any second. |

Joshua couldn't believe it; the girl that had given him the slip so many times before was right there. They had somehow crossed paths this evening, but he was torn on what to do. Do I try to capture her and masquerade that I'm a citizen trying to collect the reward? Or do I just cut to the chase and not hide the fact that I'm a Mask? No... that's a bad idea. Just play dumb. He slowly continued walking past her without breaking stride, not wanting to give off any signals until the exact moment he wanted to strike. But when? She had magic, so even if he was able to capture her, she would be able to blind him, so would it even be worth it? Maybe it would be better to get a bit of information on her, but how would he talk to her? She looked distrustful to begin with. He walked past her and sat down by a fence post, leaning against said post before pulling out a piece of paper and started to scribble something. |
