Lewis went back to the coffee shop. He had finished his shift and needed something to keep him going. A book and coffee sounded good and although at the moment he was practically dirt poor he wanted, no needed, coffee. His machine had broke. The day literally couldn't get any worse. So he went to spend his money on coffee because why not. He showed up to the shop with a tired appearance. Ordering his coffee then sitting down at his normal table. Automatically opening his book but without the same happiness he normally had. |

West was, as always, at the coffee shop. He branched our today and got an iced coffee, and so far, did not regret it. He was taking a sip when the stranger walked in, and nearly slammed down his cup in his haste. Everyday, West had been bringing his sketchbook to the shop in hopes he would show up again. His wishes had been answered. West immediately started drawing with his charcoal pencil, preferring this medium more than color. Perhaps, though, he could paint this man one day. Doubtful, though. |

Lewis hadn't turned the page in 5 whole minutes. 5 minutes. He never did that. To be honest, he was worried about Addilyn. She hadn't replied to his texts all day and after yesterday's mess he had a feeling she was still pissed at him. Which wasn't great because she was pretty much his only friend. Everyone else didn't like his nerdy habits. They found him awkward and weird. Addilyn had always been his only real friend and even after just one day of not talking he was already missing her. |

After observing this stranger and knowing that he was an avid reader, West knew something was up. West was naturally perceptive, so he figured something was wrong. That played a part in how he drew this stranger, with darker lines and deeper shading, bringing out the emotion in his stance. |

Lewis used his right hand to drink his coffee a bit before finally settling down into reading. His posture told of the fact that he was still in a whole different thought process than on the book but he was still trying to read anyways. |

Time all blurred by, West's hand never stopping as he continued to draw. His practice with drawing this man, and power, made him able to finish in a good amount of time. Looking down, West had to smile. This had to be one of his best drawings yet. Finishing up his last bite of a pastry, and leaving enough money on the table to cover it all, West went to the man's table. He had torn out the picture, and held it out, "Thank you for being a good model." |

Lewis looked around, as if thinking that this man might be talking to someone else. Sure enough, he looked down and the drawing was of him. Lewis. The most boring looking person in all of existence. Yet this random man had drawn him. His cheek colored a little. "I don't know what to say.. um. Thank you, for drawing me I guess. And your art is amazing, wow." Lewis could not relate, he was talentless unless you counted sorting books at an advanced rate talent. He was awfully confused, why draw him of all people? |

The corner of West's mouth lifted, "I am glad you enjoy it. Please, keep the picture. I've enjoyed drawing you." He handed over the paper, and readjusted his grip on the sketch pad and laptop. "Have a good day, then." In the corner, there was a little signature - West Lee. |

Lewis was looking over the paper when he spotted the signature and his jaw dropped. His eyes widening, West Lee! The West Lee! Like, the guy that he had just been reading the book from. "Wait what!" He brought out his book and put it next to the drawing. There was a little signature inside from West Lee. Not personalized or anything it had just been printed over and over on each book. But it still told the truth. That was the West Lee. Like the actual one. Lewis was completely mind blown and empty. |
