"I mean, I pretty much just terrorize the local grocery store staff." Jason replied, his face dead serious. Chani kissed him again, and he madly blushed. "Um, that was nice." He squaucked out, and immediately his whole face turned red again. "I can totally pick you up, and I'll be prepared for battle!" Tojan said as he saluted. "and don't worry, I'm the dad whenever Kisme brings boys over, so I can relate about wanting to keep his little angel safe. Literally." Tojan got into his car and went to the local grocery to get food for dinner. He planned on inviting Chani for dinner so he picked out something nice. He picked up Kisme from school and made her an after school snack before heading over to Chanis house. He knocked on the door and saw a glaring face looking at him. "Um, hi sir, I'm Tojan. I presume your Chanis stepdad?"

Chani was up in her bedroom, romantic music blaring.

Her stepfather opened the door and saw Tojan " Yes. I am. You must be...Tojan right? I heard a lot about you from Chani. Im afraid shes working on school work-"

" Oh come now, Stepfather... its ok.. really. I was gonna go tutor Tojan in art tonight. " Chani said walking down the stairs in short shorts and crop top and her two books in hand. " Ready, Tojan?"

She gave him a wink and smirk before her step father spoke again " Alright, Chani.. .but no funny business or you will be in trouble by me and your father"

" Yes sir... I'll be a total lady" Chani said turning around and headed towards Tojans car " Tojan... come on... hurry up " she chuckled

She would try and be the lady she was born to be... but being around Tojan would be difficult especially for what she was gonna do later that night. And she planned to stay the night no matter what anyone said. She loved Tojan in a sepcial way and no one was going to stop her from doing what was right. and kneeling was the next huge thing that stood in her way.

"I'm coming." Tojan said as he hurried toward his car. Tojan opened the car door to let Chani in. "Your chariot awaits, madam." After Chnai got in Tojan went to the other side and let himself in. After they arrived at his house Tojan ran to the other side of the car, but Chani had already gotten out. He went up the stairs and opened the door for her. "Let's go to my room, I have dinner and some blankets to watch a movie if up there." When they got to his room Chani sat on the bed, and Tojan took a seat beside her. Tojan leaned in and kissed her, at first it was tentative, giving room for her to say no. But then he got more bold put his arm around her neck, bringing her closer.

Chani was going to say no. But she felt the urge to never say no.

" Tojan.. does this mean you and I are boyfriend and girlfriend..or.. -" she paused for another kiss, feling his arms around her ...or are we working on it?" she said laying on his bed on her back a few minutes later.

She didnt care what her father did. If she was meant to kneel to the demon, she would. She didnt care if war was going to happen.

" Tojan... when I kneel to you when the time comes...-" her eyes turned turquoise and snarled. "...I dont care if a war is at hand. I will change my prophecy." she said wrapping her arms around his neck, pulliing him closer to her.

And in the background she could hear her father talking, angerilly

"Chani! Stop this madness. you have no right to be with a demon. it isnt part of the book of life. No is it part of your prophecy!"

She ignored him and smirked at Tojan " My life, my rules. I do as I wish. " she said flaring her turquoise eyes at Tojan.

But that was all it took, a talk to her father and she got weak. " T-Tojan... I need to regain my energy.. I will kneel when he arrives to prove my Angelic loyalty to you. But you..you must be in your Demon form to accept the kneel."

"I was hoping we could be girlfriend and boyfriend," he said " but I can't force you into something you don't want to do." Tojan laid down next to Chani, turning to face her. When she said she would kneel Tojans eyes lit up in excitement. "You'll kneel to me?" He said, thinking he must have misheard her. Chani pulled him closer, and every part of him flared with longing. Then Chani spoke to him, but not him. For a demon it was very confusing and new, after she said that Chani collapsing in his hands. "What's wrong?!" He asked in worry. Chani replied weakly, but it wasn't the answer he was looking for. "I'll be back, I need to get you and ice pack or something, you're burning up." He said, racing downstairs as the door bell rang. When Tojan didn't open the door the voice yelled "Tojan! You let me inside here right now or I'll send you back into the Underworld!" All of the blood drained from his face, it was his dad.

Chani was indeed burning up. But an ice pack wouldnt help in this case. " T-Tojan...just o-open the door. Please. If he sees me, Ill handle it the way I see fit. But he is your father. So I have to respect his.. wishes as well. "

her eyes flared up turquoise again before going limp and her own father was preparing for a war that would be hard to win.

He saw what was was going on and snarled " You leave my daughter alone, Tojan. If you dont. I swear ill end it with something you cant win." he forced himself to be seen, just behind his father. Bright sunlight wings and a huge muscular body. " If you wish to fight to get her back, you fight me right here right now."

Chani could here the conversation, but stayed silent through the whole ordeal. Tojan... just do what you can to keep him from taking me back to where I dont wanna be. My life is with you no matter if I do kneel. But yes, I will kneel I just need my powers back. Distract my father as best you can. Im begging you Her plea was strong and her voice showed it. of course id kneel to you

Tojan slowly opened the door, and to his horror he saw a huge man with golden wings "Hello sir, you must be Chanis father." Tojan stood up proudly, he knew he couldn't be scared of this man, nor was he scared "I can't do that sir, and you might want to make sure she is ok.Something happened and she just collapsed." Without another word Tojan led Chanis dad into his room, to find her looking paler and still burning up " I-" but then he heard Chanis voice in his head "Actually sir, I will fight you." Tojan leapt up from his bed and transformed into demon form. "Kisme, I need you to lead this man into the arena." When Kisme saw Chanis dad he whispered "Be nice, I have an ice cream bowl calling your name if you are." She immediately perked up, and led him outside into arena, which doubled as a riding arena for Kolen. Tojan went to get Kolen and himself suited up and before he knew it a god was charging at him.

be careful, Tojan. My father wont stop at anything til he wins this war Chani said telepathically. She only saw her father for a moment before he was sent into the arena, " I love you, Tojan" she whispered as she layed ont he floor of Tojans bedroom, doing her best to regain her powers

" if you love my daughter so much, Why do you damn help her" her father exclaimed as he raced towards him on his white stallion " I took her powers to teach her a lesson to never fall in love with someone like you"

He sent sunlight around him so that the weapon that Tojan choice wouldnt be useful. He then slowly advanced towards the Demon " Leave my daughter alone!"

Her father snarled as he stood right in from of the demon, his own knife in hand right at the deoms throat " dont you even think about helping her now. You wont be worth it to her when im done with-"

Then, Chani got all her powers back and walked into the area, in her Angelic form " Father. Back off of him. He could hurt you way more than my words can. And I will do everything I can in my power to do so. The prophecy will change. Weither you like it or not"

she then looked at the Demon and signed before kneeling in front of him, her head down. " I am your soulmate and servant for eternity, Tojan" she said before looking at him, but stayed kneeled

"Sir, I'm trying to help her, but you are getting in the way of that." Tojan spurred Kolen forward, and met the man head on, Tojan got the first blood, nicking him in the stomach. That should have hurt him more, why didn't it? Tojan thought. He then noticed a faint wall of light radiating from him. So, he's using that method, I can accommodate that Tojan hated doing it, but he went for the pure white stallion. He cut the poor creature across its flank. Tojan wheeled back around for another shot when he found a knife at his throat. He immeaditly pulled back on the reigns, getting Kolen to stop so he wouldn't be killed. Then he heard another voice, and that made Tojan mad, he whipped his knife up against the man's neck, knowing that if he put enough magic into it he could kill Chanis father, but then he heard Chanis voice. That made him relax a bit, and he slowly slid back from the knife and dismounted. Tojan was going to thank Chani when she kneeled. Tojan was at a loss for words, and he quietly gasped. "I am your soulmate and master." Tojan replied with authority "rise" he commanded.Tojan brushed his finger along her jaw, brining it level to his. Tojan then kissed her, a slow loving experience. After he gasped for breath Tojan lifted Chani into the air, and happily kissed her neck. "I love you Chani." He softly said into her ear.

The white stallion whinnied in pain as his flank was cut. He began to drop to the arena floor. But before he hit the ground, Chani's father got off of him and snarled " you will pay for what you have done to the first ever stallion of the Heavens!" but nothing of what he was saying wasnt being heard.

But Tojan prolly didnt care sicne all his focus was on Chani

" I love you too, Tojan" She moaned as she wrapped her arms and legs around him, before realizing waht she was doing. She rose and stood beside him, waiting. "Rright now.. we have something to deal with. Dont we sir?"

She spread her white wings and her turquoise eyes now on her father, ready for a fight. " Father, do all you want to Tojan. But I belong with him for eternity. You can do all you want to me, but I wont listen to you any longer. I obey Tojan now. Not you. "

" Do you realize what you are doing to this family?!" Her father yelled trying to heal the stallion, but with no luck.

" Sir... release my mare. I will need her for the battle." she asked looking at him now. Tojan would be the one to accept or decline Chani's requests. " please"

Chani's father had gone back up to grab another stallion and returned a few moments later with a black one with four white socks and a star on his head " if a war is what you want.... a war you shall recieve"

She didnt ask to release her mother. But she didnt need her right now. She planned on letting Tojan keep her. As a token of her love and obedience.

Chani wouldnt give up on this war. It would be one of many in the coming years. But who will win, wasnt something she would know. Only time would tell.

" Then you and I must discuss plans around my.. I mean... our future" Chani said to Tojan before grabbing her weapon and stood at the ready.
