Rune || Female || Subordinate || Starry Bane || Mentions: Fenrir, Indeever

Quiet, Rune glanced down at her paws, huffing quietly while shifting her weight. “You figured it out faster than last time,” she heard Fenrir speak, and she shrugged slightly, and looked up at him, "I guess," she mumbled. Fenrir continued to speak, so Rune continued listened, he questioned her as to why she was out by herself, seriously this time. "Well.." she began, and started to wonder herself why she was out there. Why was she out there? Was she going to get something? Was she meeting someone? The answer to all those questions was a definite "no." "I suppose I came out here to... em, smell the trees?" Oh shoot. Why did she say smell? Why in the world did she say 'smell'? "I meant to.. erm, look at them. Yes, look at them," smiling nervously, she rubbed her snout, sneezing once quietly.

Only a mere few moments later, Rune could see that Fenrir had a small smile on his face, she tilted her head to the left slightly, wondering what suddenly made Fenrir smile. She almost began to turn her head back to see if something was behind her, but then he started speaking, so she stayed put, listening with open ears. Myself? Oh! Stars.. Rune tilted her head to the sky, looking up, observing the sky with a gentle glance, she never really looked much up there, not unless she was with Fenrir. When she was with Fenrir, she would then look up there, looking up at the hundreds of stars that always managed to make their way up into the sky. Rune shook her head solemnly, "No.. didn't look up this lowlight," she said in a quiet voice. “You’re right smack dab in the middle of the sky. I think that’s good luck, don’t you?” Fenrir had spoke again, but Rune almost didn't hear him, she only heard the last few words, 'good luck' and sighed quietly, smiling faintly.

Rune was busy looking up at the sky, examining them with a careful eye. She didn't realize something was behind her until Fenrir mentioned it, and she looked at him, and looked over her shoulder and jumped when she saw the pup that came out of nowhere. And of course, she jumped 3 seconds after observing the pup, placing a paw on her chest. "Lord! Don't do that!" She huffed. It took her a few moments, but when she realized Indeever wasn't supposed to be out currently, Fenrir had said something, and she sighed, mumbling slightly, "Fine."

"Wait.. was he going to scare me?" Rune asked, looking at Indeever with a scared expression, "Was he going to jump scare me?" She looked back at Fenrir, with a questioning look.

Indeevar || Male || Tinyfang || Starry Bane || Mentions: Rune, Fenrir

The pup began to giggle quietly as Fenrir made faces back at him. When Rune finally whirled around and started at the sight of Indeevar, he barked out a laugh, almost falling over he was so amused. "Oh, man!" exclaimed, bounding out of his hiding place and shaking off the sticks. They always seemed to cling desperately to his coat, and it was quickly becoming annoying. "You should've seen your face...!"

He closed his eyes, throwing back his head as he jovially trotted over to them, his tail wagging furiously. He tripped, landed on his face, but never stopped laughing. He gasped for breath, wiping away tears with his paw.

At the sound of "rabbit", Indeevar popped up. "Yeah! I'm going find that rabbit's whole burrow and feed the pack for MONTHS!" he said, puffing out his chest. "Just watch!"

When Rune asked if he was about to scare her, he snickered darkly, before flopping his head around. "Maaaybe. It's probably a good thing I didn't, though," he said, grinning. "Fenrir probably would've had to treat you for a heart attack!"

Azrael
Packless | Male | Rogue | Mentions: Open

A ghost haunted through the forest, flickering through the shadows as they drifted. Their alabaster pelt was easily seen, but the movement of their paws was nearly soundless. The opaque canine paused for a moment in his steps, ears flicking gently as his nose twitchd in the air. Delectable scents flirted with his senses, and he altered his coarse a bit to follow one in particular.

Azrael knew he was treading on territory belonging to a pack, though he cared little for it. He was in the southern edge of the Jamabarah Forest, having just passed the stream that cuts through it. Many wolves feared traveling through a pack's territory, aware that they often didn't react well to rogue wolves being on their lands. Az didn't have those same feelings. The blanket of scars he wore over his coat was a testimony that the male had little respect for packs and never hesitated at a fight.

The male paused for a moment to nibble on his front leg, satisfying an itch for a moment before glancing around quietly. His lip curled up in a half snarl, before transitioning into a scowl. He was headed towards the mountains, but he was also searching for his next meal. He had killed a hare recently, so the gnawing of hunger in his belly wasn't the bad, but the scent of something decaying was far too enticing to pass up.

The scent trail lead into the mountians, clearly whatever it had been had been dragged into the rocky slopes for protection. Unluckily for them, Azrael was stubborn and he never passed up a free meal.

After several moments of trekking through the mountains, following slim trail after thin trail, Azrael finally happened upon a half eaten carcass. He wasn't sure who or what had killed it, but he cared little, it was his now. He trotted forward and inspected the deceased deer and nodded gently. It appeared to be a victim of a lone wolf, or jus time itself. It was an old doe, her fur dull and greying unlike the robust coloration of younger creatures. None of the bite marks on her body appeared to be kill wounds, so he assumed she had succumbed to the passing of time and some lucky soul had happened upon her.

Shrugging, the male greedily went to devouring what was left of the doe. Blood, dark and almost gelatinous, stained his coat, during alabaster white to dark blood brown. His muzzle and cheeks were dyed the brilliantly hideous color, while more of it drooled down his neck and chest. Azrael had never been accused of being a neat eater.

Snorting, the male continued to eat, paying little mind to what was around him.

Finishing up the last of her duty, she nodded to the other combatants she could see. leaving the area to wander the territory, moving herself into a trot as she followed a path made by her packmates over the years. sniffing the areas and borders to keep up with any weaker spots to report back to either the Overlady or the Combatants commader. Her tassel waved behind her as she went, keeping her senses alert and her pale hues wide open as she scanned each area for a mile before she pauses to take a short break before she would continue, gazing around where she sat, she lifted her snout to the air before lowering it to the small stream running almost hidden in the forest floor. Lapping up the cool waters before stopping and licking her jowls clean of any droplets.

Bláth | Male | Subordinate/Vanguard | Okami | Mentions: Aislin, open

Bláth's eyes wander around the salty plains, the chilling winds blowing against his fur; a pleasant feeling, but not enough to settle his impatient mood. "Dirt. Dirt. White dirt. Oh, a small little rock." Shoving it forward, watching it skip across the ground. Bending low to the earth, giving it a few whiffs, then quickly licks it. His face wrinkles in displeasure, clearly not liking the salty taste - it was too much for his liking. "Ugh! Gross!" Licking his muzzle like crazy, shaking his head in disapproval. He didn't like the extra salt, the second biggest mistake of his life. As the salty taste died down, he was back to lacking interest in sitting here. He squints his eyes when he sees someone coming his way, trying to get a better look at the figure in the distance.

His tail wags as Aislin proceeds towards him - slightly relieved that she managed to come here unscathed. Seeing her dip her head, Bláth shook his head, "I don't need such respects from you, Aislin. We are from the same rank. I'm here as the Overlady's messenger." Tail ceased its wagging, clearing his throat, trying to get serious. "Don't lick the ground. It'll kill your taste buds," he perks up a bit, understanding that she's here for business and not casual talk. "My bad, you're here to discuss business. Not silly conversations." Surveying the area, making sure no one else is around before setting his focus back onto the female in front of him. "What have you learned?" Fixing the rose tucked behind his ears when strong winds blew it out of place.

Neziton ∴ Male ∴ Mentions: Any packless nearby ∴ Whereabouts: Still in Meadows but got sidetrack and damn near Ern lake∴ Outsider

————Inspired by my slowed song playlist————

Being a Thoaid, or someone who didn't have a pack had its perks. But if they found him roaming freely, they'll surely have his head. Neziton who quite liked having his head, couldn't have that. He blinked his eyes and tried to clear his empty mind from those thoughts.

What should we eat?

Where should we sleep today?

Not bothering with those questions, Neziton grew up on little to nothing; so with a small pause he noticed he wasn't even close to the place he wanted to be," I...~", Barely having anything to say; Neziton would admit he lost the energy to form words. Usually coming out in blobs and grunts, was he turning into an animal who only grunts, growls, and howls as a way to express himself? That couldn't be, he needed his voice to convince those higher ranks to show compassion. How can he speak if he had no voice? Made no sense, thus he'll have to relearn the basics," Hi.....H....Hi...I'...I'm...Nez...Nez...dammit..just Nez....", He forced his words and maybe in a little childish sense of humor enjoyed it. He wagged his tail and lowered his head to the ground," Gr...Greet...Greetings!", He coughed. Never really having to speak to others, Neziton learned that a one-way conversation was the best way to win anything; he could disagree with himself and agree at the same time. He couldn't let others down nor be let down; it was a glorious yet lonely feeling. He only remembered one canine that stuck by his side; what was their name?

Not having any time to think of them, he only remembered their sandy-like coat with black markings along with grey shadings across their back; they were crazy! Maybe more insane than Neziton, not his cup of tea. But anyway, they stuck to him like glue; hence why Neziton always wanted to be a mentor, he had the power, the looks, and the accent to be a teacher, to teach a youngling his own visions and pass down his beliefs. It would be merely an honor to find such a willing soul to take some sort of drug that is Neziton.

Having any sort of thought over a family of his own, never really crossed this brute mind; if he still had one. He saw what could happen to them, which is why mentoring another male pup was more effective. Thus his own blood wouldn't die. Kinda cruel right? Neziton knew that, he just didn't know it was as bad as he thought it would be, he suddenly realized he was pouncing around the meadow like a lost fawn looking for their mother. Realizing that he smiled," Nous mourons tous encore, mais ce que vous laissez derrière nous... mais nous mourons tous encore... mais ce que vous laissez derrière nous... et nous mourons tous encore",

A song he learned from his mother, mother, mother. She was an old bag; always talked shit about his ears and how he'll never get a dame to like him looking like that. Well, she's dead so Neziton could laugh at her now without the fear of being carried around like a pup. He was a monster now so she better fear him, wherever she's at. Anyways, excuse the pettiness Neziton never liked her as a pup. She was so old that normally he would pray she would let go of life and die already. Her song was passed down, and now Neziton was old enough to understand the meaning of it; that and sing it without being off-key. Ahem.

This wouldn't be another long story about what Neziton wants and needs, instead Neziton wanted to express what he feels about the two remaining packs. He never really came across them before, but if he did he'll laugh. Yes, you read that right. Why would someone ever be proud of being murderers? Do they believe that makes them powerful and demanding? Neziton could laugh all day like the insane canine he was meant to be, he would learn every name from each pack and laugh. If anything he'll at least tell them why he found this funny. Kill or be killed, is what they took way too litral. Neziton realized he wasn't smelling the fresh sand instead and scent he hasn't yet tasted," Arf?", He tilted his head allowing his oddly shaped ears to flop to a side," W......w...where...", He stared around and decided to keep going, maybe he'll meet some canine along the way.

Beats being lonely.

Later he'll chase his tail.

Aislin - F - Subordiante/spy - Starry Bane - Mentions: Bláth, Head lady (referenced), open

Aislin flicked an ear back, eyeing him slightly warily, she is usually wary of wolves from her pack; most of them bloodthirsty, even though she is a spy for them. She sat down, curling her tail around her front paws like a cat. Nose twitching as she took in the scents. She felt a bit of amusement at Bláth's commen about licking the ground, well yes, it is a salt flat; it would kill taste buds probably, she has never licked the ground she was on and wasn't planning on doing so anytime soon. She gave the area a quick glance too, no one, good. She started with the most time-sensitive thing.

"The head lady," Aislin twitched her lip upwards as she tried to recall the name, "Hoarfrost. She somehow found a weakness in the Okami pack borders. A way to get in." She said with a hint of worry, both ears set back, then twitching erect again. She didn't know how, but she knew they knew, it was bad; a weakness in the borders? Any enemy would have to be stupid not to take advantage of that. She couldn't help but be a bit concerned about that. She gave it a moment, idly clawing the white ground with a paw, looking down at the scratches there. Taking the deep breath then exhaling, she thought this part would be interesting.

"And, I found that the oh so venerable Starry Bane pack is in the habit of sacrifices." Aislin shook her head, "Horrific, and they call our pack barbaric." She remarked. She looked at the fiery colored male, his copper-orange coat clear in the dark. Turning her head away, her eyes searching the flatlands, the beige and gray female waited for a response by her true packmate.

Bláth | Male | Subordinate/Vanguard | Okami | Mentions: Aislin

A weakness in the border? How could they figure that out? Ah, it could be those traitors she killed. They leaked information before being killed. Troublesome indeed, but hearing that brings him a bit of thrill. His eyes glisten a bit, shining a bit under the light. "A vulnerable spot for now," tapping his claw against the ground, "once this information gets back to the Overlady, I'm sure she'll have a plan for it." Hearing about the sacrifices, his interest in the other pack increases, "Sacrificing wolves? Sounds like a party over there," his face shrivels up in disgust. "A weird party that I sure don't want to attend." Shaking his head, staring up at the sky, then back down to her.

He knows that she can't stay here for long- her pack would grow suspicious of her disappearance. "Thank you for the information, Aislin. Sadly," gesturing in the direction of Starry Bane territory, "they might notice you not there. Also, the Overlady needs to hear this soon as possible. We can't stall when they know we're vulnerable like this." Bláth rises, giving her a wolfish grin, "Roll around in flowers. It should cover any trace of my scent off you." He turns around, prancing back to his pack's borders, but stops. Bringing his head over his shoulder to stare back at the female while his tail wags, "Thank you for your hard work, Aislin. The Overlady would be pleased about your loyalty and hard work."

Giving her a respectful nod this time, with a playful look in his eyes, "See ya next time." Bláth bolts, dodging and weaving past trees in the course for camp. Skidding to a halt when he sees a field of wildflowers and leaps over to the flowers with joy. "All mines!" Flopping in the middle of the flower field, rolling around in it a few times before settling on his back. "I'm kinda sad though," a sigh leaving him, "I didn't get to kill her."

Aislin - F -Subordinate/spy - Starry Bane - Mentions: Bláth

Getting up from her sitting position, she stretched, mostly for show, her eyes sharp. She knew that the others in the pack she was in for now would be suspicious if she wasn't present soon. And this was not something that she could risk, no way. And it seemed her companion knew that as well. She nodded in acknowledgement of Bláth's thanks, a usual when information about the enemy was being traded off. Aislin then turns and bolts too, in the opposite direction. She headed toward some of the wildflower fields and let her legs buckle, rolling around and rubbing them on her as she twisted on the ground. It was fun, but she wasn't all too fond of the sweet scent clinging to her, oh well; better than the others smelling an Okami wolf on her. After throroughly making sure Bláth's scent was covered by the flowers, she stood up, gave a little shake; double-checked that she couldn't smell anything else other than the cloud of perfumey scent around her, she set off again.

Aislin was running again, determined to get back quickly, as to lessen the chance of her being missed. If she failed, well, it would not be good. No wolf in their right mind would accept a spy in their ranks after being found out; nope, it would be like a death sentence. After a bit, she found herself coming into familiar territory, slowing her pace, she looked around for anyone who might have noticed her returning from the direction of enemy territory at a rapid pace. Aislin took a rest, catching her breath so that she doesn't return breathless and tired, like she was doing something in a hurry. It would not do for that to happen. After a short while, she continued on in a walk, like she was merely going off to get rid of restlessness and returning.

Chinook || 5 || Okami Sub/Vanguard || M: Martuska and Clover (Ind), Others, Open

Dawn was cracking, and the omegas had finished cleaning the pits. Chinook did not envy the pitiful creatures -- either traitor or omega. Well -- not that there was much of a difference between them, at times. His eyes shifted the omegas, their guards, and the others drifting silently.

The large male kept to the shadows and watched from there. Chinook blinked slowly, his eyes rolling down and to the other side, and his head turned the slightest to follow them. The Overlady barked for her pet, and the male suppressed a tiny smirk. He himself had never desired a pitiful being to follow him wherever he went.

He liked his solitude, his privacy. It made his job so much easier. Besides, a pestering, whining fool would only slow him down and drive him insane. They already irritated him, and he wasn't even near them that often. Of course, with his on-the-books calling of subordinate, he had to occasionally work along one, but his inner self loathed time spent there.

The handsome wolf bowed low as Martuska passed, even though she probably would not see from his longer distance and position beneath the trees. Some called him a simpering puppet for his constant determination to uphold every rule, especially those regarding the treatment of the Lady, and he allowed them to think it -- for now.

After all, to the public eye, he was simply a subordinate. Nothing more. Chinook worked very hard to keep up that appearance, for Martuska's safety and the wellbeing of her queendom. Despite his best efforts to maintain complete professionalism, Martuska had been becoming the main wolf he watched for... more than just duty.

The male huffed quietly and stood back up after the Overlady had completely passed. Turning to the side, he picked a rose from the bush next to him and trotted over to the Diety, where he gently set the flower. Blood dripped off his tongue from the thorns, and he licked his maw thoughtfully. Ah, well. If it were a sign, he'd find out soon enough.

The male retreated back into the shadows, resuming his watchman position.
