Hyosuke || 22y/o || He/Him || Scout || Mentions: Nikolai, Georgia Open
Georgia || 19y/o || She/They || Beta Hunter || Mentions: Hyosuke, Open

The warm sun flares shone through the small slits in the ceiling, softly kissing Hyosuke's skin. Slowly but surely, he woke up. And with a profound look of pure laziness and dissatisfaction in his face, he forced his body up from the bed, stretching out every and each of his bones and muscles, before turning around and glancing at the fellow Scout, Nikolai. "Good morning", he greeted in his smooth, pleasant yet slightly hoarse voice, although he wasn't quite sure whether the younger guy had listened to him or not.

After briefly messing up his own hair with his fingers, the fellow marched his way outside of the Scouts' house, sticking his hands inside the holes of his grey sweatpants and occasionally dipping his head towards almost every person he encountered during his stroll to the centre of the camp.

There was a little wooden hut right in the middle, where the residents could go and fetch some food from. Hyosuke plopped down on a fallen tree log that was right in front of the said hut and crossed his legs, just so he could take a look at a small injury on his ankle, which he started tending to.

"Looks like you're recovering quite quickly from that scratch," Georgia observed, sitting beside the older guy with a goofy smile on their face as they continued, "Eating helps, too. So you should probably go and get yourself some breakfast. Cooked rabbit meat is being served today.". With a chuckle, Yo wiped the dried out blood from his wound and then squeezed his eyes towards the hot blazing sun, whose glow made his orbs look almost golden.

"I'm not hungry at the moment, but I appreciate your concern.", his words triggered a funny look of disapproval on Geo's face, "So long as you don't starve yourself... Anyways, I hope you don't mind me bugging you while I wait for the other hunters to wake up." the latter said.

And no, Hyosuke definitely didn't mind having such cheerful and energetic company for himself in the meantime. He, too, was waiting for his partner, Nikolai, to get up so they could fulfil their scouting duties.

Emil | 28 | ♀️ | Leader
M: Georgia, Hyosuke, Remor

Emil was silent and gave small smiles to those who greeted her. She ran over in her head, what she had planned today. She wanted to wait until after everyone had their morning meals. She needed to have a meeting with Remor and Hyosuke to discuss the recent movements of the anti-shifter groups, she needed to brief the hunters and foragers on new plans and procedures to avoid injury and stay safe while they're out, then there was briefing the omegas, then she knew she needed to meet with the children and give them their daily lessons. One head off each division taught one class about their rank to the children. Emil could not miss it, as prospects would attend.

Finally... she dreaded her meetings with the world leaders. The United Nations were a pain for her. Some were sympathetic, others found them as a threat. Those of different cultures and ethnicities were now all smashed together just due to the fact they shared the same species. There was no integration, only segregation. People have lost nonshifter friends and family. There was very little contact with the outside countries. They did not allow Paradisium to have phones or fax machines or any such communicating technology. There was only one monitored computer where the virtual meetings took place with the United Nations and Emil.

She would take her successor to learn, but there was none. So, she took one of each rank and rotated between them. She refused to not allow her people to see what was happening behind the scenes. She reached the food hut. It was small, similar to a shack. She was grateful for the new freezer portion for meats and other imported products. There were no animals or pets on Paradisium yet, other than its natural fauna. Imports of animals and such would be in the future as soon as the United Nations came to a vote. They were fearful that more shifter types would be born for this, while this was in fact false. Shifters could breed with shifters or rarely humans. Humans were so fearful of the beast part of shifters that they never thought of the human parts.

She claimed a small package that was her chosen breakfast ration. This included sausages, two eggs, and a medium sized bread roll. She ate this every morning. For lunch she would eat a small package of cooked rabbit livers, blueberries, and sliced pickles. For dinner, she chose to eat a beef patty with potato bits and steamed carrots. She made sure to take small portions of food. It was an age old habit of hers.

She noted Hyosuke and Georgia at the hut as well. They were dining together. She pondered on interrupting them to speak with Hyosuke, however waited. She was not one to take the joy of conversing away. However, this was her own introverted demeanor shining through. She did cast a quick glance their way, her smile quite small. It was her silent way of saying there was buisness to be taken care of. She entered her own thoughts as she quietly ate her breakfast. She wondered which nation would provide produce this month and whether they'd be the first to attempt a trade by boat, or if they'd attempt an airdrop like other nations. From what she'd heard, the America's were mostly pro shifter as well as the United Kingdom. However, those in places such as Russian and North Korea weren't as pro shifter. They had yet to accept other communities still, but it seemed the big issue was the shifters. Rumors of protests and secret shifter communities off Paradisium floated through their small continent. She sighed, finishing off her eggs.

Remor | Female | 20yr | Scout | M: Georgia, Hyosuke, Emil

Remor felt the morning sun hit her fur as she laid outside in open air, not close from the pack house but far enough to be seen from the window of her chosen bedroom. Remor is very grateful to have a room to herself but she prefers to be outside instead of confined to a room, Remor opened her piercing blue hues and grunted as the sun beams into her eyes causing them to constrict.

Remor's eyes were sensitive to the sun since she was more of a night person, looking around to get used to the bright sun, Remor lifted her head up and stood. Taking a big stretch on each leg she shook out her fur and began making her way over to the food hut. Seeing some others, she walked over and sat down wondering what the others were waiting on.

Rem heard Georgia talking about waiting with Hyosuke while the other hunters woke up, sniffing around she could smell a light scent of coffee and lemon coming from Hyosuke, and hazelnut and mint coming from Georgia. Memorizing their smells, she turned around after smelling tabacco and camfire.It was their leader, Emil, dipping her head in greeting to their leader she continued to watch to see what the others would say or do, Rem wasn't the type to talk much but she was pretty sure her facial expressions said enough on their own.

It took Hyosuke more than a few minutes to fully examine his injury. It was a medium-sized "scratch", deep enough for him to be bothered by the possibility of a mild infection. He carefully wrapped a small piece of bandage around his ankle, coating his wound and making a tie with the last few centimetres of the piece, thus keeping it in place. With a deep sigh, the scout placed his injured foot on the grassy ground, now wearing his black military-like boots as he secretly cursed himself for being so clumsy.

Now he knew not to venture himself where the hunters placed their traps.

A very unique and pleasant smell of pineapples and tangerines soon reached the redhead's nostrils, and Georgia turned around to meet eyes with Remor. They very quickly aimed a wave of the hand at the woman and flashed a small smile, "Hello. It's a nice, sunny morning, isn't it?" they asked as cheerfully as always, snapping each of their fingers as they awaited a response.

Yo muttered a quiet "Good morning, Emil." and nothing else as the leader walked right past them. Quiet as he had always been. He struggled a bit to untie his dark hair, allowing his bangs to fall over his eyes as he combed it with his fingers. "Hey Remor, you should probably go and get yourself something to eat. There are plenty of places we must document today, and we probably won't have time to eat later," he announced.

Geo couldn't help but frown and tilt their head. How come Yo didn't take care of himself but constantly demanded others to do so?

Nikolai || 20 y/o || He/Him || Naturopath || Mentions: Hyosuke, Georgia, Remor, Annabella Open
Nikolai grunted, rolling around in his bed. He wanted to bask in the sweet smell of coffee for a bit longer. He waved a hand absentmindedly towards Hyosuke, before letting it flop back to the comfort of bed. Not one for early mornings, Nikolai usually manages to get out of bed and be ready right as his shift starts. Granted, at the moment he wasn't wearing pants, but he would be ready for the morning patrol as soon as he -
Oh, right. The accident.
Suddenly much more awake than before, Nikolai sat up in bed. Careful fingers probed up and down his leg, taking stock of the scars spiraling from his knee like a forest fire. He couldn't feel the pads of his fingertips against the scartissue, but when he pressed down hard a sharp pain shot up his leg. Grunting, Nikolai leaned over to his nightstand and grapped his knee brace, a clunky contraption built by the Artisans that would help him walk. He carefully slid the contraption on and buckled it up.
Like a newborn fawn, Nikolai stood up with trembling legs. He made his way ever so slowly to his dresser, slid on a plain black tshirt, and rolled his eyes. Right, the brace has to go ontop of his pants. Fuckn' dumbass.
As Nikolai stewed in his increasingly angry thoughts, he caught the sweet warm coffee scent again. He eyed the dresser next to him warily, catching sight of a larger pair of grey sweats. Sure, they were his roomate Hyoskue's, but... What he didn't know wouldn't hurt him, right?
Absentmindedly, Nikolai ran his fingers over the soft material of the sweatpants. They could probably slide over his brace, easily.
"It's not weird for friends to share clothes. It's not," Nikolai muttered to himself, trying to convince himself that this was okay as he stole his friends sweatpants. He'd just make sure to wash them before he gave them back.
He grabbed his file for the day and headed out into the camp's centre, eyes squinting in the bright sun.
He saw Yo and Geo sitting by the grub hut, with Remor standing by them. He nodded gruffly in greeting, but did not stop moving until he reached the edge of camp, where the naturopath den was. He kicked the doorframe loudly with his good leg, announcing his presence to his new coworker.
"Oii, Tiny. Reporting for duty," he called out lazily, stifiling a yawn.

Remor | Female | 20yrs | Scout | M: Hyo, Geo, Briefly: Nik
(Btw Remor is in wolf form xD)
Remor flicked her light blue hues up at Georgia's greeting, nodding her head especially at the sunny part of the morning, Remor huffed and looked towards Nikolai as he made his way towards the Naturopath den was. Watching him to make sure he didn't stumble or anything, Remor wasn't surprised he nearly kicked the door down. She more likely expected it then didn't, Remor listened to the sounds of the food cooking up from the food hut and puffed her tail up, thinking she will have to fight for it. Thinking about her old life she remembered having to fight her pack mates for the biggest piece of food, usually she came out on top but when her father decided to fight for fun he would nearly kill her before being satisfied. Snapping from her thoughts when Hyo spoke up to her she snapped her head towards him, ears perked listening to his words.
Eat later? Meaning I can eat when I please? Thinking to herself, she was internally shocked but she forgets it hasn't been long since she has been in this pack. It had only been half a year since she left her old pack, flicking her ear she stood up not hesitating to wait another second on getting some food. Pushing the door open with her snout she grabbed a rabbit as if it was illegal to take it, swiftly taking it back to Hyo and Georgia she laid with her back facing them eating the rather large rabbit someone caught while hunting. Rem didn't care for cooked food since her old pack rarely cooked their food, Rem is rarely ever in her actual human form so her wolf form is easily capable of eating raw food. Pinning her ears back she remembered Hyo said they had a lot of spots to search and she wasn't happy about it.

Anabella "Tiny" Theodore

24 | Feminine | Homosexual | Naturopath | M: Emil, Nikolai, Open

She had been up and awake for quite the while, blearily working the job she knew so well. Tiny usually didn't awake so early, but the night terrors constantly plaguing her never were able to reach across its realm and enter the waking world, so she stayed awake and worked hard. In turn, when she fell asleep, Tiny would sleep almost immediately, no dreams swirling around her thoughts. The thought of sleeping and being chased down by her fears caused her heart to beat faster ever so slightly. Constantly, she was the one who was comforting others, so taking at least one break seemed reasonable, right? It had to, considering how focused she was doing practically the same thing constantly. Tiny leaned against the small counter and sighed audibly before whirling out of the small building. She could work early mornings and late nights, but if she missed a meal, Tiny would put her foot down at that.

The female shuffled along the path towards the food hut, grumbling slightly as the light gleamed in her eyes. The floor was littered with a few handfuls of leaves, the bright sun blazing. The early morning should not have been so hot as she trudged towards her refuge containing supplies of food. She shouldered the door open to reveal Emil. Tiny wrinkled her nose delicately and scourged for a good meal, ignoring the leader completely as she grabbed a ration of breakfast meal, quite similar to the leader's. Tiny grasped them carefully as she turned around, eyes flitting towards Emil's before glancing back away casually. Tiny didn't necessarily like the leader, but she didn't hate Emil either. If anything, she merely just tolerated her. Tiny weaved around Emil and headed out, tossing her hair out of her eyes with a flick of her head. She made her way slowly back towards the Naturopath den, not bothering to acknowledge the other members of the group. Usually, she would be enthusiastically greeting the others, but today she just wasn't feeling it, and on top of that, she would have to deal with Nikolai, and only the gods knew how hard it would be working with him. She opened the door, balancing the two meals on one arm.

Tiny entered the den and placed the two meals on the small table in the center of the chaos, a tall island with rounded corners. She tossed the two meals unceromoniously onto it, and leaned over the piece of furniture, eating whatever she had grabbed quickly. Tiny didn't know what she had grabbed for Nikolai, but she knew whatever she was eating contained some sort of meat, and an egg. The meal was small, and Tiny finished it rather swiftly, tossing it into a disposal bin before going to wash her hands. "Oi, Tiny. Reporting for duty." Tiny stifled a groan as she heard the tiredness in his voice. It was also obvious in hers as she muttered, "Took ya long enough." She flicked her wrists, ridding it of a majority of the water from her washing her hands. Tiny went the extra mile and wiped her hands on a towel hanging nearby, turning back around towards Nikolai with a smirk. "Got you a breakfast. It's not one of the biggest ones, so eat it fast and get to work sorting." She said the words dismissively before going back to the counter in which she had first been in the morning, carefully drying the moist herbs and placing them in their respective areas.

She hummed lightly as she did the work. Tiny finished the pile she had started that morning, placing each plant in their orgainzed, sorted areas respectively. She rubbed at her eyes tiredly before grasping another pile and starting on that. "Whenever you're done, just grab a pile and start on it. If an herb's too wet, just dry it lightly by patting it with the towel on the counter," she called over her shoulder. Tiny's eyes narrowed in focus as she held two plants side by side, almost identical. A frown lit her features and she wafted in the scent of them both, looking rather amused as she pulled them away and seperated the two into their groups. Tiny felt a surge of guilt hit her and she attempted to hide the look in her eyes. She had been a tad bit irritated and frustrated today. The way Tiny usually was, it was almost as if she had been snarling at everyone. She sighed and forged through. The least she could do was at least do her job well, no? The herbs were starting to blend together and she blinked twice before returning back in again. Everytime. Everytime she was tired her sight went blurry. Such a great combination for when one was sorting herbs.

"Damn, who pissed in your Cheerios, Tiny?" Nikolai huffed, plopping down uncerimoniusly at the table where he would spend the next few hours sorting and prepping. He took a big whiff of the den, nose tingling with the clashing scents of all the medicinal herbs. Smelt like his garden, but on steroids.

He took one look at his "breakfast" and scowled. "Oi, I already ate. Have my portion." It was blatantly a lie but Nikolai couldn't care less. Annabella looked like shit, she should get a good meal in her system. Before even hearing a reply, Nikolai pushed the meal towards his new coworker.

He turned towards his work assignments, carefully resting his leg outsretched to the side as to not aggrivate it. The herbs were soaking, so with an uncharactisterictally gentle hand Nikolai began to lightly pat the leaves, oddly put at ease by Annabella's humming. Before long he found himself getting a nice rythem started. Granted, he was still new at this, and while he had a vast knowlegde of plants the more human side of medical work eluded him. Did he know what Sequoia sempervirens was? Yeah, just your common redwood tree. Did he know what the goddamn "thoratic aorta" was? Hell no. His grip tightened on the paper towel, teeth clenched in annoyance. Logically, Nikolai knew he would have to be trained, and that Annabella would be the one to train him. Still, he felt like a useless bumb sitting here like a toddler, so if his new job was patting down leaves then goddamn it he would be the best leaf-patter in existance.
