Ere closed the book then put it down on his beanbag to save his spot, then exited the recreation room to explore a little more. Squinting slightly he read a couple door labels from where he stood, but then decided to move over a bit as to not block the doorway to passerby.
'garden', 'bathrooms', 'communications'..... Ere liked gardening, he'd probably check out there later.... It would be a waste of time to check out the bathrooms, it's just going to be like any other bathroom.... he then set his eyes on the communications. He had never really been good with technology, but he still wanted to figure out how it worked. As he ascended the stairway to the door, he then realized that the Communications room, though it was structured similarly, had a closed door. From a miniscule hole above the entry a couple wires linked up to the rest of the open doors(and a couple speakers), which lead Ere to assume that the doors could be closed and opened from inside the room. As for the comm room itself.... it seemed that it could only be opened with the same keypad. He hadn't yet seen what the key was... oh well. He'd just come see it later after the mute boy had found it.
He turned around and walked back into the recreation room to his bean bag, trying not to feel awkward about it as he sat down and kept waiting.

Lily | 18 | Female | M: Eva, all(ind) Lily walked down the hallway, making for the door she had left Eva in. She was glad that she had at least one friend in this place. She hated being lonely. . .unless it involved a book. Most of the others seemed. . .well, quiet, boring or bossy. First impressions weren't everything though, so she would give time to actually get to know them. If they allowed it of course. Shaking her head, she got to the door she had left Eva in. .or so she thought. Instead, there was a small garden with some plants growing up in it. She let a smile give way, holding back some giggles. She loved gardens, mostly because they were outdoors. This one was obviously indoors but still reminded her of being outside.
She sat down momentarily to smell the flowers before walking back to the door. Only then did she see the panel that said "Garden". Oh well. Glad to see it anyway. She thought before going to the door next to it, labeled "Work room". Inside was Eva, of course, but also what she had seen earlier. Treadmills along the wall, punching bags, weights, and more. All things that could be found in a gym. Lily didn't go to gyms much as she was a book hog but she could still defend herself if needed. She could thank her father for dragging her into that. Eva didn't seem to be smiling but it was a great room, right? "This will keep us busy, won't it?" Lily said, walking over to her. |

Evangeline (Eva) - 19 - Female - Mentions: Lily, all (find) 'This will keep us busy, won't it?' Eva lifted her head and realized that it was just Lily, relieved, a soft smile appeared on her face. "I suppose so, at least we won't become out of shape," she chuckled. She realized that maybe it won't be so bad here as it'd be in the real world. At least, that's what she hoped. She knew that there was a possibility of things going wrong and death coming along with it, but hopefully, that'd be later than she thought. Guess its a good thing that she doesn't have family since it helps her accept it if worse things come to the worst. She left them a long time ago and forgot about them to help herself move on in life with a better attitude. Sometimes, it helped sometimes it didn't, but that's just how life is. Never perfect, but it can be good at times. She hoped that at some point things would become easier than they are now, especially with being in a bunker. Maybe at some point, they'd get out of there for some reason...even though she's wary of what may wait outside. Anyways, Eva thought that maybe they should go back to the big room by now and asked Lily, "Well, at least we've seen this. You wanna head to the main room now?" |

Nyx Itzal | Male | 21 | M: Ere, all(ind) Nyx walked down the hallway, checking everything out. There was gardens but he wasn't interested. The workroom seemed full at the moment but that was fine. Several bathrooms littered the whole bunker. Nyx walked back out into the lounge before spotting a male going towards the communications door. Can't get in that way. Need a key. Nyx thought to himself. He had already checked that out. Walking out, he waited until the male had come back out before huffing a sigh.
This place would be alright, he supposed. It would give them something to do for certain and keep annoying people from bugging him. The male seemed to be okay too, although Nyx didn't like his sense of authourity. He shrugged before making his way to the recreational room. Once inside, he ignored the chairs before leaning against the wall. There was a few already in there reading and checking it out. Nyx knew for a fact that two was in the workroom and yet another close by. There was 11 of them total, but this bunker was made for quite a few more than just this amount of people. He wondered why they only chose eleven to go into the bunker instead of the count that was supposed to be in there. |

Theo - 18 - Male - Mentions: Raven Theo glanced up as someone walked towards him. It was a teen girl with raven black hair and deep blue eyes. She raised her hands and began sign-speaking. Sign-speaking was just Theo's word for talking in sign language. He was slightly surprised she knew it, but was glad he had someone he could easily talk with. You can't speak, can you? Sorry, that was blunt of me. She said. Theo smiled and signed back. Correct, I can't talk. And don't worry about being blunt, I'm pretty used to it by now. He dropped his hands and waited for an answer. She signed back wondering if that was a good thing or a bad thing. Kinda both, he replied. Suddenly she grabbed his hand and began pulling him towards a door. Surprised, he hurried along with her as they entered the recreational room. A boy with colorful paint smudges on him was apparently her brother, and had known sign langugage before their grandmother died. Then the girl asked about his name, stating they would need to work. on his manners. |

Raven Lovelilly/Female/18/Mentions: Theo, everyone (ind) Raven tilted her head slightly. Not sure if thats a good or bad thing She signed with a small smile, remembering that they were supposed to be in the recreational room. Without thinking, she grabbed boy's hand, pulling him with her towards the destination, letting go as she pushed open the door. She spotted her brother who seemed to have already made his way into the room. Her brother had fresh paint on his hands and jeans, and a green smudge on his cheek that matched that on his hand, she chuckled slightly. She pointed her brother at to the boy she had dragged with her. Thats my brother, Ellis, he used to be really good at sign language, but when our grandmother died, he just stopped, never told anyone why Raven explained with a slight shrug, and then she paused. You never told me your name, we clearly need to work on your manners She signed, her smile and eyes teasing. When Raven's hands dropped to her sides, they began to fidger again, snapping the fabrid of her pants against her lef, fiddling with her jacket zipper, drumming against her arm. This had been a problem for her since she was a girl, whenever she was around people, she simply needed something to fidget with. Better than tapping her foot and constantly changing where she stood or sat like she used to at least. |

Lily | 18 | Female | M: Eva, Ere, everyone(ind) Lily nodded as Eva said, "Well, at least we've seen this. You wanna head to the main room now?" Lily grinned, "Yeah, we probably should go to the recreational room now. Might be able to figure out what to do next." She said, taking one last look around before heading out. She waited for Eva before going to the recreational room. Her books were right where she had left them. Plopping down on a beanbag, she pulled another one over for Eva.
Looking around, she saw a few others talking and interacting. One of the girls were talking in sign language with the male that had the note. Her brother, or at least Lily thought, was covered in paint. They must have an art room around here too. Lily thought to herself. It would be good to do something else than read, although if she read daily, she would be through all the books in no time at all. Although, it might take a while to learn sign-language so that she could understand what those two were saying. Lily understood very little of sign-language but she had time to learn. She always did. She took her eyes off the two to scan the rest. The other male that had called was sitting in one corner and another male was standing in another corner. Males and being by themselves. What's new? She thought before settling down before saying to Eva, "Now what?" |

Ere looked up from his open book he had been leafing through. It seemed everyone had arrived other then the pocket-edition Minecraft girl, who seemed to have changed her mind about staying in the bunker and managed to escape. Ere wondered if he had a desire to leave as well. He wondered if not seeing the sky for... a while would affect him. He hoped he wouldn't go crazy living down here.
He also wondered wistfully weather his parents would miss him. After all, they hadn't known he had left. What if they thought he ran away out of spite, or something worse? Ere regretted not saying goodbye.
He had never been too close to his parents; they weren't strict in any form, a little under-cautious in truth, but he had still loved them, them being his parents, and having shown him at least small signs of love.
Attempting to be polite, Ere closed his book again but stayed seated in his cream-colored bean bag. He didn't want to be the first to speak up (he remembered himself getting flustered after suggesting the meeting altogether and shuddered slightly), so he waited for somebody else to break the quiet instead- which might've been a mistake as an awkward silence hung in the air and multiple eyes were trained on him, waiting for something to listen to. After all, he had called the meeting, and the others naturally assumed he would have a topic prepared he wanted to share. Ere looked around and managed to stammer out a sentence.
"Uh... m..maybe we should arrange some sort of hire- heirarchy? And I'm not indicating I want to be some leader or anything... uh... but... well, we weren't given any instructions or rules when we were thrown into this bunker, rright?" He faltered for a moment. "But we should p-probably put together some rules to keep us in line and not do anything crazy...."
Ere wanted to hide his face in the book he still clutched in his hand tightly. He felt his hands reddening and his face flushing.

Evangeline (Eva) - 19 - Female - Mentions: Lily, Ere, all (ind) Eva followed Lily into the main room and sat down in the beanbag that Lily pulled out for her. While observing everyone, Lily said, "What now?" Eva saw the dude she presumed who had considered meeting in this room and whispered, "Guess he has something to say, we'll just have to-" While she was saying this, the boy had started talking, pretty nervously though. She quickly shut up before anyone got offended by her whispering. The boy wrapped up his announcement with: "But we should p-probably put together some rules to keep us in line and not do anything crazy...." When he got finished speaking, Eva thought about the comment about him not being a leader. 'Of course not, you can't even make a simple announcement without getting flushed.' While the last comment was a point to consider, this group seemed pretty mature and not too crazy anyway. She sighed and said, "Do you really think this group of people are problematic? I mean so far we're all pretty closed off and calm. The least that we really need is a schedule so that we're not just clueless every day. Maybe we can all take some time to train just in case worse comes to worst? However, about the leader thing, I don't really think its necessary but I guess it would help a little bit." After saying this, Eva hoped she didn't sound too full of herself or that she seemed like she wanted to be the leader. She personally hated rules, but if no one else wanted the position then she would step up just so that there's no debate about it. While thinking this, she said out loud, "Also, when and if we pick a leader, I think we should take a vote on it rather it being an open question between everyone. Like, maybe we could pick 3-5 people as the possible candidates? I dunno, just something to think about." |
