Nova | Lioness | M: Amara (ind.), Castiel (ind.) Nova listened to the announcement eagerly. This was what Nova had been hoping for. Well, not the Second dying in the fire, but a chance to prove herself. When Queen Amara announced that Castiel would be leading the hunt, Nova was slightly upset. But, it was a large pride, and only one can lead a hunt. Nova just needed to show Amara that she was dedicated, and a good choice for Second. At the mention of a hunt, Nova perked up. Nova loved hunts, it was like water in the middle of a drought for her. It would also be a good opportunity to impress Amara. Nova knew any who looked at her would see the fire of the hunt already burning in her amber eyes. Xena | Elder | M: Amara (ind.) Xena lounged in the morning sun, soaking up its warmth as Queen Amara called a gathering. The poor lioness was now parentless, and the leader of a rather large pride. While the Queen hid it well, Xena knew a mourning spirit when she saw one. When the announcement was over, Xena moved to a less central sunning spot. Her days of hunting and patrolling were over. And unless something around the camp needed to be done, Xena spent most of her day doing nothing. As of now, Xena lounged in the morning sun, flicking the tip of her tail and closing her eyes in pleasure. Harley | Lion | M: Amara, Riot Harley was glad Queen Amara hadn't chosen him to lead a patrol. Harley was fine right where he was, thank you very much. He was, however, happy for Riot. Perhaps Riot would take Harley out on the patrol. Harley rather liked patrols, unless they met another lion. Then, Harley was kind of a whimp. Harley knew he had a long way to go to earn his mane, but he was working on it. |

Just a tad bit tired is all, didn't have the greatest sleep last night." She smiled, her tail flicking at the bugs surrounding her. Riot | Male | Mentions: Amra Maybe I should lead a patrol out, it's early so if we get it done earlier we wont have to check in the burning afternoon. Riot looked around for the pride males, and Amra came into sight. He walked over, to see Nyla as well. "Amra. You and I will be checking the territory lines, we leave in a few minutes." He nodded to Nyla before turning around, walking towards a large tree, with a rock. He sat on top of it, awaiting Amra. |

Amara- M: All Amara watched the pride, curious as to who Castiel would now take since Riot curiously only picked Amra. *They best all get moving before the sun warms up the lands* she thought as she watched Tara sit near the edge of the camp, and Midnight once again talking to his daughter. *At least they keep close* she thought. She knew a few cubs and parents often grew apart, but that could be due to Fae not having a mate and her own cubs yet. She watched the rest of the pride before she walked over to a nearby tree to sharpen her claws. "Hunters and patrollers should be heading out" she called. |

Amra Amra waited by the tree that Riot was in,he didnt want to roar at Riot as he was a very important lion now and today was his first day.Amra closed his eyes and sighed. He waited and and the sun shone in his golden pelt,he startled back into reality as Amara called for all hunters and patrollers to be out. |

Amara grew annoyed that Riot and Castiel had yet to leave, and called out. "Fae! Lead a hunting party, Amra, lead a patrol out, NOW" the lioness growled. This had never happened under her parents and she assumed it was due to the pride thinking she was too young to lead. *I will show them* she thought. *I will be the queen the pride needs.* ~~~ Fae jumped when Amara yelled, but she didn't blame the young queen at all. "Nyla, Tara, Nova, come on" she called and watched as Tara slowly made her way over after her name was called. |
