Jackson King-Male-21-Hidden Shifter-Wolf-Mentions: Sabine
Fallborn was a place of many. Some stuck up arseholes and others who are extremely nice. Though more and more of the first type had begun to show up forcing some shifters out. The ones who stayed were controlled like puppets and there was no way you could force a wolf into that kinda life. Any shifter who decided to stay had something wrong with them. Eventually all of them would be killed and there would be nobody to say I told you so to.
Those were the thoughts of Jackson King as he stood on the mountainside. His eyes wandered over the people who were almost the size of ants from this far up. Sometimes he could pick out the shifters just by their actions but he rarely cared. Right now he was watching the butchers stand the feeling of hunger settling in his stomach. Hunger was always the worst kind of feeling. Even being alone couldn’t compare to how hungry he was.
Since it was colder the smaller prey was harder to find. Of course he could always steal but the last time he tried some old lady chased him away before he made it close to the stand. The sudden sound of an angry horse filled his ears and in a matter of seconds a black wolf stood in his place the hair on his hackles standing on end. Something was going on wether that was a shifter or a humans horse he had no idea but it was best to stay hidden.
Everytime he changed he couldn’t be shake the feeling of his bones feeling like putty. When he shifted all his senses heightened even though they were still above average as a human. As a kid at school when they did the listening and sight test things he would always pass with flying colors. Of course back then he didn’t have to hide himself. Though 5 years ago when he had just turned 17 the first shifter was killed and he ran into hiding. It was hard leaving his friends behind but his life was worth more than some friendship.
In his wolf wolf form he was abnormally large his fangs scared most people who ventured into his territory. He often enjoyed that thrill as most of them either ran or in a group they would put up a fight. If they were alone he would shift to his human form and kill them. Though in groups he would injure most of them until they ran away. Some might call him a psychopath but he had to find fun in something.
Watching over the forest he tilted his head back his blue hues covered now by his eyelids as he let out his deep song into the sky. Today he was looking for a fight. He hadn’t had fun in a while. Bringing himself back to reality he took off down the hill towards where he had heard the horse. Of course fin it was a fight he wasn’t interested. Though if it was a villager and his horse he was ready to eat. Stalking the area he was following the scent and realized to his demise he realized it was a fight. Even though he wasn’t eating anytime soon he would still watch the hunger crawling in his eyes.

Mike Cliffman-Male-20-Shifter-Barn Owl- Mentions:Sam, Nyx, Sabine, Laark, Tallin

He stopped clawing her when he realized his claws didn’t do anything; but that was only one reason. The other reason was the fact that everything starting moving, even though it clearly shouldn't be. The only explanation that he could come up with was that she had poisoned him with something. He saw that Tallin was reacting the same way he was, but she had gone back to her human form.

He reacted like her; he shifted also, but as he did so he sneakily slid a dagger-that, for some reason he was thankful for- he had grabbed the night before up his sleeve. He stood up, but almost immediately stumbled sideways, blinking rapidly to try and stop everything from moving. “What did you do?” He asked the hunter, his words showing his pain.

His legs started shaking from the effort of holding him up; whatever she had given him, it worked fast. Yet he remained standing, how he didn’t know. He saw Sabine(In her horse form) run up and kick the poisoned dagger out of the hunter’s hand, saw her scream something at Sam-probably telling him to run, because he was the only one who hadn’t been poisoned- and rear up, yet he watched it like he wasn’t there, like he was just watching through a mirror. He knew the poison was working faster in him than in Tallin, because he had been poisoned in his owl form. With a thud, his legs gave up on him; He was going to be dead in a few minutes, half an hour at most. Yet he didn’t go unconscious; he forced himself to stay awake, to watch as Sam yelled something back to Sabine, but he couldn’t make out what.

Marietta Pleasant - Female - 18 - Scout - Badger - Mentions: Nalaea

Through the whole interaction, Marietta had one eyebrow raised. She didn't speak to the other girl again and didn't seem nervous or scared at all. To her, this was getting boring and she found the girl quite rude. Inside, she was fighting the urge to yell at her or hiss in her face. That just would have been embarrassing.

Once the girl left, Marietta started to walk back to the town. She reached into her boot for her dagger, running her finger over the cool metal as she walked. Nothing really interesting was going on, and her boredom was getting quite annoying. And when she gets bored, her thoughts tend to wander. It's never anything too dark and worrisome, but it's certainly quite annoying.

Her fingers rubbed back and forth against the metal of her dagger, her feet just walking in the direction of her house. She had always found it interesting how something so beautiful can be made of something so simple. The dagger in her hands was once just a piece of metal and some leather. And with the right set of hands, it was made into a beautifully designed weapon. Truly fascinating. But also incredibly boring.

Sadina Rose - Female - 19 - Hunter - Mentions: Sam, Mike, Sabine, Laark, Tallin

The lone hunter was continuing her walk through the woods, pretending to like nature. Which she didn't. She just liked walking. She went down many different paths and looked up at many different trees. Then, she heard the shriek of an owl. Deciding to check it out, she followed the sound, being careful to keep her face hidden.

She reached the fight scene, watching through the trees as a fellow hunter, Laark, fought against many animals. Shifters. It was quite amusing to watch the horse slam her hooves down, the owl claw Laark's back, and the others just trying to immobilze her. Sadina knew the fellow hunter had poison she often used, but she wanted to have the satisfaction of making the shifters feel pain. So, she crept closer, slowly unsheathing her sword.

Araox Iresum|Female|19|Scout|Bearded Vulture|M: None

Fox ran her fungers through her hair, eyes up towards the sky as she absentmindedly watched the clouds slowly change shape. She looked away, blinking her eyes back into reality. She began to walk forward, looking out at Fellborn Lake as she swerved at avoid a few pedestrian walking in the opposite direction. She arrived at the shore snd crouched down, picking up sone nearby stones and flinging them at an angle, attempting to skin them. She failed each time and bit back a surge of frustration. Skipping rocks was always a challenge, and learning it was her main goal at this present moment in time.

She found another flat rock, and concentrated hard this time. She flung the stone, watching in bounce on the water twice before sinking. She felt a small jolt of satisfaction that quickly passed, and she stood up, wonder what she should do now.

Tallin | Female | 18 | Hidden shifter | M: Laark, Mike, Sam, Sadina

Odd - the hunter was gaining nothing by this. She could have just killed Sam while she could - yet, she wasn't. It was an odd thought, but perhaps - perhaps there was a thread of 'good' inside of her. It wasn't that Tallinn had doubted it; but it was still a strange thought. Her mind felt muddled. It usually functioned at an astounding speed, observing, analyzing, thinking. But it felt slow. She felt slow. The wound on her neck throbbed.

Sam released his arrow from her side, and an unrational fear shivered through Tallinn's body. He was putting himself at risk, to save both her and Mike. It was foolish. She wasn't worth that sort of risk.

Again, the unrational fear came back, doubling the force clutching her body.

I.. have to go. I can't... get caught.

Her body swayed, the dagger slipping from her fingers. She staggered away. She wanted air - she wanted to pull the bandana from her face. But she could never show a stranger what she looked like - nobody here had ever known anything but her eyes, and they never would. It's safety. But she felt paralysis clutch her lungs. She needed to breath. A few feet away, she sunk to her knees, then buried her head in her palms. She was shaking. Whether from fear, from pain, from the poison, she didn't know.

I can't breath.

But she could - no, she couldn't. She was alive, so she had to be taking in air. Her brain felt slow. Her body in pain, her muscles weak. Another hunter was approaching. Despite her failing body, Tallinn remained as observant as ever.

She wanted to warn them of the approaching hunter armed with a sword. But she could barely get her voice to function.

"Another. Coming." She choked out, fingers fumbling for her bow.

Laark Umbra / F / 19 / Hunter / Mentions: Sabine, Sam, Sadina, ewrhqwehra

She heard the girl heaving behind her as she threatened her, but Laark knew better. Within moments she’d collapse. The girl was strong, strong enough to withstand this long, but by the time the poison reached her head, it would shut her nerves down.

Laark heard the pounding of hooves in the distance. She was going to be far too outnumbered if this was another shifter. She had to end this quickly. The words the man spat out drew Laark to force a disappointed face upon her features. She doesn’t kill, poison only helps her. It’s not like the other hunters use poison too. “As long as you and your friends back down, I’ll give over the antidote,” Laark’s frown turned into a satisfied grin, he obviously wanted to attack her, yet on the behalf of his fellow shifters, he was forced to back down. She saw the white figure of the horse kick the dagger from her hand. Shit! A horse? Laark felt the hoof smack against her hand, it sent the dagger flying back. The man that was pinned took action an managed to make his weight pin her down. She had underestimated his combat skills, he wasn’t lying that he had a pack of his own-even if they weren’t wolves.

She shook her hand out, it was throbbing every second but she couldn’t escape his grip. Crap. I can’t get out, I need help! Laark’s heterochromatic eyes looked towards him. His identity was screwed. He should kill her now and take the antidote. She struggled under his weight, trying her best to sly her way out, but it was no use. If she could just… reach the sword on her waist… “I don’t really have a choice now,” She muttered under her breath as he called off the mare that had kicked her hand. She looked to him with a serious face. “Listen to me,” She whispered only loud enough for both of them to hear. “Give half of this vial to the female, the other have to your friend,” She poked him with one of her slim fingers, slyly slipping him the antidote from one of the hands he had pinned. “No hard feelings?” Laark sarcastically questioned as she kneed him between the legs, locking them around his waist and turning the tables quickly.

She leaped far from him, ranging the combat on purpose. In the midst of the jump, she has slit her own chest with one of her daggers. She looked towards the hunter that was sneaking up from behind. “Retreat! We’re outnumbered!” She yelled to the hunter, wincing as the pain she had caused herself. She ran full speed at the shadowed female, grabbing her by the wrist which held the sword and forcing her along with Laark. She knew Sadina would have questions but right now she didn’t want to hear it.

Vera Smith, female, 20, Hidden shifter, Gray wolf, mentions ??? (what are the mentions for?)
A black and silver wolf sat on a rock. Her pale golden yellow eyes scanned the area and the pointed ears took in every sound. It was a bit warmer in Fellborn, a town where once, humans and shifters lived in peace. Until the hunters arrived, they thought shifters were a 'curse'. When the first shifter had been killed, she knew it was not safe to be around anymore. So she took to the wild areas, and not hanging around the town anymore, unless she got desperate for food. And even then, she might prefer to starve. An extremly small part of her, wished she had stayed in the town, but the rest of her loved to be wild and free in the forest and other areas. The breeze ruffled her fur and sent a slight chill. Unlike some, she didn't claim a piece of territory for her own, she was moved around a lot and didn't see the use of territory to protect. She almost always had the feeling of hunger, but she was now used to it and could ignore it for a while. It was sometimes hard to catch things, but she did end up with prey in the end. She tilted her head to the sky, and howled, the cry was naturally mournful sounding. After howling, the wolf got up and stepped off the rock, stretching. Then it ran off in the opposite direction of where she was.
(I'm just getting a feel for this, so it might not be as long or might be a little different)

Sabine D'Ahma / female/ scout/ horse/ mentions: Sam, Laark, Sadina, Tallin, Mike
Sabine whirled around with Tallin's warning and saw the other hunter. She reared again and was about to charge this one too, her rage and hate for these hunters who hurt her friends was evidentally showing. But Sabine stopped when she heard Laark give the antidote to Sam. What? I can't believe a hunter would do that! She thought But I guess she doesn't really hace a choice if she wants to live Sabine thought with a smirk. Sam let the hunter up, who ran away, grabbing the other hunter and taking her with her.
-
Serves you right! She thought with a snort. "We need to get out of here in case they come back. If you can take Mike, maybe Tallin can ride on my back if she is still strong enough? Once we are in a more secluded, lesser known spot, we can give them the antidote." She suggested to Sam.
-
But then a though came across her mind, making her panic. What if the "antidote" is just more poison?

Artem Jayse Castelania // Male // 17 // Hidden Shifter// M: The whole Fight Scene going on. Sadina, Laark, Sam, Tallin

Artem spent most of his time in the woods, and strangely not in his animal form. He felt most comfortable in his humanoid form. As an animal, his Dhole form, he seemed almost vulnerable. Artem was resourceful as his animal form, but his claws and teeth would never be as strong as a large wolf. His agility however was quite stellar.
Artem was known for his stealth and his ability to sneak around. One second there and the next gone from view. His bow was slung over a loop in his belt while the quiver of arrows was around his shoulder. The boy was barefooted and was wearing slim fitted brown pants that didn't quite reach his ankles. He wore a large gray shirt that was stained with dirt. Around his head was a silver chain where a small sapphire sat against the middle of his forehead. His dark brown hair was wildly curled and couldn't seem to pick a direction to face.
His lithe figure picked itself through the vegetation, he had already caught a few pheasants that he stowed away for later use. He was just about to settle down for a minute when he heard a struggle. Artem shot to his feet and was heading there in an instant. He came across someone who was brandishing a sword. Oh god, a hunter. Slinking behind the hunter with the sword he carefully peered around them. Up ahead there was a scuffle. A large white horse, a wolf and a few others in close combat with another hunter. He turned his gaze and saw the hunter rising from the chaos, before turning and running for the other girl. Artem pushes himself quickly out of the way and into the shadows as they raced by.

Sadina Rose - Female - 19 - Hunter - Mentions: Sam, Mike, Sabine, Laark, Tallin

Sadina looked at Laark in confusion, but said nothing and allowed herself to be pulled along. It was slightly uncomfortable to be running with a half unsheathed sword in her hands, but she didn't complain. "Wow. You are pretty damn strong," was the first thing she said. And possibly the only thing she'll say in this situation. Her mind was racing as she tried to process what exactly she saw. She knew the animals were shifters, but the horse was incredibly aggressive. More aggressive than the wolf and it was, well, a wolf!

(Short, sorry)
