Put CP in his battle, stealth and agility around 100 or 200 each. Take him out into explore, level 3 is normally good to use for exploring wolves :)

Coalstin || 19 - I think. || Male || Hunter/Tracker || M: Tove, Max, Artem, Yarene

Coal grinned as she dropped from the trees above. She waded across the river, making her way to him. Coal shrugged, a smile tugging at his face. "Just a normal day in the life. Make friends with my sworn enemies, nearly get run over by a yak, narrowly escape some sort of horrible death. Quite the adventure, isn't it?" He joked a bit sarcastically - but his smile was genuine.

Coal pushed off from the tree, standing taller. Her piercing blue eyes met his own. He couldn't deny that she was quite pretty. He tilted his head, stunning blue eyes dancing in the morning light. "I never did get your name," he said. "It's only natural that we escape near death together before I even know what to call you, isn't it?" He said, voice snarky and sarcastic, but it was clear by his joking attitude that he meant well. "And I suppose I can't just call you 'cat-girl-that-likes-to-sleep-in-trees'." He paused, running his hand through his short, sandy brown hair.

"My name's Coalstin, by the way. But you can call me Coal." He smiled gently. "Hope you don't mind that my presence nearly got you run over by a yak." he said with a light wink.

Samuel Brooks - female - 20 - game hunter - arctic wolf - mentions: Laark, Tallinn, Nyx, Sabine

Sam narrowed his eyes when she replied- team?
The hunter had changed her words to quickly to figure out what she meant by team,
When she told him about her wound he was almost confused, but then realized she would probably be punished if she retreated from a fight with shifters without an actual wound; another reason why he hated them. Hunters didn't even treat their own kind correctly.

Sam hesitated when the hunter asked about Tallinn, not knowing if he could trust her or not- she could just be faking her ankle to trick him...
"She's doing better" he gave in, the way the hunter stood showed that her foot was definitly uncomfortable to her.

"You saw me yesterday, no reason to hide myself- plus if you tell the other hunters I can hide; I've hunted deer all my life, I know this forest like the back of my hand" he stepped closer to the hunter and crossed his arms with a smile.
"If you don't tell you're fellow killers what I am I'll help you with your little wound; infections aren't something to mess with" though a normal person wouldn't have been able to tell his wolf senses tranfered over to his human form, allowing him to smell the rotting flesh.
"Contrary to what you may think we're not all evil, we just protect our own. Even if it means killing for them."

He was giving the girl a chance, she had proven she wasn't just a bloodthirsty murderer when she gave him the anitdote; but how far did her kindness go?

Maximillian Trujillu / M / 28 / Hunter / Mentions: Artem, Clyde, Coalstin, Tove, Yarene

Max trudged forward, hunger piercing at his stomach. He was not in a condition to fight-not when he wanted to eat. You see, Max got more impatient and grumpy when hunger annoyed him. He grunted back to Coal, telling them to ‘have fun’ pfft. He was going to drop Yarene and Artem off while he went hunting. Knowing Yarene, she’d probably be fine on food, seeing as she could shift into a yak and munch on grass, but he didn’t want her having to have a pure diet based on greens. He couldn’t help a smile form on his face once Artem spoke again. “You got that right,” Max looked over to Yak. She seemed to be lost in thought, even in this big beast form he could see right through her.

Could I trust him enough? Max looked back over to Artem. “A little place I found earlier, Clyde shouldn’t be bothering us. Unless he wants an ass whooping,” Max nudged his yak, elbowing her shoulder. She seemed to reply in a quiet snort-chuckle like way. After they traveled a good bit, Max walked over to where he had killed that one shifter. “I have some business to take care of, along with hunting,” Max pointed to a cave. “Stay over there,” He patted the yak on its back before trailing off into the wilderness. The corpse was far enough away from the cave that they shouldn’t be able to smell anything, yet Max felt uneasy, feeling like he needed to rest in peace. He came upon the corpse, bloodied, pale, cold. He picked it up by the legs, dragging it beside a rock as he started to dig a grave.

Yarene Isen / F / 18 / Hidden-ish / Yak / Mentions: Max, Clyde, Coalstin, Tove, Artem

Yarene couldn’t help but think of that girl. She seemed pissed. Abnormally pissed. Naturally, that angered her. What did Max do to deserve that dirty look? Just being a hunter? Rude of that bitch to think she knows all. Yarene furrowed what would be her brows if she was in a human form. Max seemed to be leading them somewhere secluded. She felt a sudden bump into her shoulder, she exchanged looks with Max before making a short huff. Artem. She looked back over to him. Shifter, yes, thief, obviously. Kinda like Yarene.

If he steals anything from me- Yarene shrugged the thought off. With Max around, Artem wouldn’t dare lay a finger on her, especially in her yak form. He doesn’t know I’m a shifter… does he? She tried to not make it too obvious that she had been observing the boy. It looks like he’s the same age as me… Yarene looked around. She didn’t recognize this place. Looking up to Max, he ignored her mental question. Finally, the silence broke as Max ushered her to go into the cave as he took care of ‘business’. Cave. Usually, that means I’ll be able to shift back into my human form! Yarene couldn’t help but feel excited. She’s been in this animal form for days on end. She wanted to remember what it was like to be small again.

She quickly trotted into the cave, pulling Artem alongside her. Hm. What to do with him? Knock him unconscious? Sounds sensible. She stopped once she was inside the cave. Suddenly, the thought drifted to her. Max slipped up. He didn’t do a whistle command-just told her what to do… like she was an actual being. Feeling the tension rise, she only hoped the boy didn’t put two and two together.

Laark Umbra / F / 19 / Hunter / Mentions: The shifters/hunters, Sam

Laark nodded. This was an awkward position. She never confronted a shifter like this. She usually was able to strike enough fear into them so they ran away. She was never this backed up into a corner she couldn’t get out of. Despite the piercing pain, she caused herself, she lifted a hand, curling her fingers in interest as the man spoke. He’s right. If I did describe his features to the hunter authorities, he’d be hidden. And even if I tried to describe his wolf form, we’re in the North, nearly every wolf is white or along those lines. “You’ve at least put a little thought into it, I guess,” Laark acknowledged that he was wary when he answered if his friend was alright. Perhaps he was still intimidated by her? She could use that as an advantage.

“You know, there aren’t just shifter hunters lurking around here, right?” Laark pushed back loose strands of hair. She didn’t move back when he stepped closer. She couldn’t show fear… even though… No. Weaknesses. She closed her eyes for a split second, letting the harsh training seep back. “I don’t think that, believe it or not, not all of us think that.” Laark furrowed her brows, her heterochromatic eyes twinging in interest. “I’ve known plenty of hunters who have befriended shifters as their companions, we just choose not to get close,” Lie. I only know one hunter who keeps their companion as a shifter-and that’s way more different…

Laark analyzed the distance between them. She could try an attack… No, it wouldn’t work. He was in perfect shape, and Laark was injured in a vital area that she normally used in close combat. “You’re taller than I thought,” She mumbled those words, the last time they had clashed, she kinda just fought him off, only paying attention to his identity. “Not all hunters are bloodthirsty either, we formed or were sent here, we are skilled in this, we have our reasons to hate, some more than others.” Laark held back her pitiful excuse to hunt them. Jealousy. Pathetic. She had to look bold, seem strong. Laark pondered on his deal. She stepped closer to him, trying to hide the obvious limp. “How do I know you’re good with wounds? None the less infections, last time I checked you had an entire group of shifters, who’s to say someone else helped mend the others?” Laark questioned, locking eyes with him. If he were to lie-hopefully Laark would see through that lie. Call his bluff.

Tove Bjorn | 19 | Female | Gatherer | Snow Leopard | M: Coal
-
"Coalstin?" Tove looked up at him, locking her blue eyes with his own. "I like it." She smiled as she sniffed the air. "I'm Tove." She said walking over to the tree he was previously leaning against. She sat down, laying her back against the tree, throwing her head against the tree too. She felt and looked stressed. Her dream was still filling her mind. She huffed and closed her eyes.
-
She has exasperated herself running from the hunters. She breathed deeply though she wasn't out of breath, she was tired. It had been an eventful morning. Tove was hungry but not hungry enough to hunt. She kept head against the tree as her eyes found Coal, she offered a small smile and let the lull of the river close her eyes.

Nalaea Leogwyn - Male - 22 - Hidden/Horse Breeder - White Panther - Mentions: Ren

The female followed the other shifter's lead and took off running mounting Guri as the stallion ran beside her. She caught sight of the other hunters but pushed the stallion faster lowering her body close to his neck letting the thundering of his hooves drown out the sounds of the hunters behind her. She let out a quick whistle both to signal the other horses and to signal to Ren where she was.

The duo thundered down the road turning sharply at the fork heading to the West instead of South. A smile formed on her lips hearing the sound of the other horses falling into line behind the racing black stallion. A calmer whistle left the young woman as she slowed the stallion turning down an unused pathway going deeper into a rock formation. She chanced a glance back towards the other horses seeing that all five had come back.

She slowed Guri to a walk letting the stallion catch his breath. His neck covered in a thin layer of sweat and his sides heaved with each quick breath. The young woman stopped her group and dismounted looking around trying to catch any sign of her companion. She moved over to the saddle bags on the right side of the stallion searching through as she pulled out cloths strips and a couple herbs.

She untacked the stallion and the mares, hiding away the items under a larger rocky outcropping. She knelt down setting the supplies out waiting for Ren to appear. The blade in his side had not escaped her view when she had knelt by him.

Coalstin || 19 - I think. || Male || Hunter/Tracker || M: Tove, Max, Artem, Yarene

Coal flashed a stunning smile. "Tove," he repeated, commiting the name to memory. The girl drew away, lowering herself to the ground, resting her head against the trunk of the oak Coal had been leaning against. Tension was visible in her face, and it was clear she was stressed. She released the air in her lungs, breathing deeply, as if attempting to calm herself.

It struck Coal, that she was so at ease. He was a hunter. He hadn't shown any sign of agression, but in her shoes, she wouldn't trust as easily. Although, Coal certainly could admit that he was a charming person. No, his humility wasn't his best trait. Tove caught his eyes and smiled. He returned the gesture, turning to sit beside her as she closed her eyes. He liked her - it seemed he had made a new friend.

The young man leaned back, blue eyes sharp and alert. He didn't wish to bother her, so he stayed silence, listening to the river's gurgling lullaby. He got the odd sense that there were other people near - but right now, he didn't wish to go looking for trouble. He would simply keep watch while Tove rested.

Finyx Brooks - female - 17 - scout - snowy owl - mentions: Sabine, Tallinn

Nyx shook her head when Sabine tried to help her; her arm felt numb now, but she didn't know how long that would last.
She'd never broken something before, but she'd spent enought time with the town healer to know that this wasn't a bad fracture- all Nyx needed was something to keep her arm in place and a sling to hold it up.

She swallowed when Sabine asked her what happened, "the hunter came back and I followed him- I didn't know what happened to you and I wanted to make sure you were still alive... I landed in a dead tree and the branch broke; happened to fast to shift and this happened" she raised her arm, wincing in pain, "but the hunter just left me... maybe he thought I was dead. Either way I'm alive" Nyx got up in a sitting position and held her broken arm with her other hand; though she kept her left leg out slightly bent, it hurt to keep it straight or bend it all the way.

She listened to Tallinn as she told them how she found them, "we need to get out of here. Find Sam's cave."

Artem // M // 17 // Hidden // Dhole // M: Yarene y Max

Artem didn't heed too much mind to the Yak and Max as they traveled. He had been too busy trying to figure out where they were. He knew the forest like the back of his hand, but for some reason he hadn't been around here in a while. He had been minding his own buisness and 'politely listening' when he noticed the Yak once more. Her beastly face almost pointed his direction.

He had to hand it to Max, he had a really smart animal on his hands. The more he thought about it though, it didn't really make sense. The Yak was smart. Too smart. He tried to dismiss the oddity, but it didn't seem to leave his brain. Artem was pulled from his thoughts, literally, as the Yak towed him towards the cave Max had directed her to.

It looked like he'd be left with her for a little while, which would hopefully give him enough time to do a few things. He still had escaping in mind, as much as Artem had liked Max the time they had chatted, Artem knew Max could kill him. The possibility of it was huge. Upon arriving in the cave he decided to settle down a bit. He was half tempted to reach over the Yak and unhook the chains from her saddle, but she'd probably trample him.

As unsafe as it was to sit down, he did. Knowing full well that if she went anywhere, he'd be dragged along. He'd been pretending to look at his hands while thinking. Why was he pretending though. She couldn't be a shifter, Max wouldn't have a companion as a shifter, that would be... oh so strange.

He turned his gaze towards her from his position on the floor. "You wouldn't happen to... Nevermind." She couldn't be, it seemed too far fetched.

Sabine D'Ahma/ female / 19/ scout/ horse/ mentions: Tallinn, Nyx, Coal, Tove
Sabine nodded to Tallinn, impressed by her tracking skills, as well as her assumptions about upstream versus downstream. She relaxed a little when Tallinn said it wasn't likely the hunter would them the same way she did, but Sabine wasn't entirely convinced.
.
She looked back at Nyx, who had just explained her part of the story. Sabine assumed she was in more pain than she let on, but she didn't know what to do. Healing wasn't her forte. Fighting and stealth on the other hand... "I'm so sorry Nyx... I wish there was something I could do to help you more. Unfortunately my mother's salve only helps open wounds." She suddenly bit her lip as she realized she'd mentioned her mother. Trying to quickly pass it off, she fished a large bandage out of her satchel that could work as a sling and helped Nyx put it on. Tallinn would take care of her, and help her get back, but right now, Sabine needed to clear her head... And she couldn't bear to see Nyx right now. She was hurt because of something she did. Sabine felt like it was her fault. Sure, Nyx had fallen out of a tree on her own accord, but if Sabine hadn't gone out in the first place, Nyx wouldn't even have had to ve in that situation.

.
Feeling a little on edge, she shifted into her horse form. She wanted to leave. To go and run through the woods as fast as she could, as if she were running all her worries away- or running away from her worries. No matter what you called it, it still made her feel a little better, although it would be a little less enjoyable with her injury, but as a horse, it was less painful, but she'd have to be careful not to stress it too much.

.
About to wander off, she suddenly lifted her head and snorted. She'd caught scent of something. Shifters. And hunters. Pawing the ground in irritation, she looked to Tallinn. "Do you smell that?", but then she realized it was a foolish question. Tallinn had just gotten finished telling her why she hadn't used her wolf form, and while a shifter's senses were more heightened than a normal human's, Tallinn wouldn't be able to smell as well as that without being in her animal form.

.
"I think I'm going to go check that out. I need to clear my head anyway..." She said to Tallinn. "Um, unless you guys need me to stay? I mean- you could come too, but with Nyx hurt... Yeah I can totally see her charging into a fight right now, cause her arm really seems like it is really just fine." She finished sarcastically.
