Ava || Mentions: Ibex, Amber, Jericho, Ahyma ( all ind.) Standing up slowly, and groggily, Ava's hands softly examined her sides, feeling the welts and bumps where previous darts had penetrated her skin. And apparently, they shot her more then once, which was probably why she was feeling light-headed. "The hell.." she mumbled quietly, lifting herself up, Ava roughly hit the wall, leaning against it, breathing through her teeth painfully. Her whole body ached, the tranquilizers were over done, and she could barely open her eyes, but as soon as she opened her eyes, a pericing white light beamed into her eyes, and she nearly jerked backwards, almost hitting her head against the wall. The room they were in, it was completelty white, everything except the black windows. She kept her eyes closed, slowly getting control over her muscles again, she quietly began standing up. As her eyes finally adjusted to the eye-blinding colors, Ava looked around, one woman was awake and alert, while the others were still out, but.. one of them was awake- Jericho? "You got to be kidding me," she covered her face with her hand, her small muscles tensing up, veins almost popping out. Ava gritted her teeth. Great. She had a feeling she was going to need to kick some ass in here. Her fingers slowly spread apart as she looked at the remaining sleeping mutants, only to find yet another familiar face. Ahyma. She almost scoffed outloud, and had an urge to waltz over there and kick her awake, maybe later.

Malaki: Mentions: Night "Saw you talking to Sky, how did you meet her? She's not the easiest to find." Night said to him. Malaki looked down at his shoes to wonder about how he should word his response. "Well... I actually noticed her walking down the street and was enamored by her bracelet. She also acted... a tad odd. Up to that point I didn't know if there were others like me, so... I might have followed her a bit to satisfy my curiosity, and after I learned that Sky was an experiment like me, I stayed with her, shortly before we were jumped by Ibex and stayed together. And the rest, as you can say, is history." He leaned back against the wall, now embarrassed about his explanation, even though it was true.

Night | M: Malaki "Saw you talking to Sky, how did you meet her? She's not the easiest to find." Night said to him. Malaki looked down at his shoes to wonder about how he should word his response. And the rest, as you can say, is history." Malaki said and Night listened before nodding to himself. "Well, that's pretty much how we all found each other. How long were you alone?" Night asked, thinking to himself. This experiment was not part of the group which meant he had been alone all this time. That would mean a couple of years at least.

Jericho: Mentions: Ava Jericho struggled to fully break away from the daze before laying his eyes on Ava. "You got to be kidding me." She said, covering her face with her hand. She's just overjoyed to be in the same room as me, isn't she? He stretch a bit more before walking over to her. "Good to see you up and about Ava. Hopefully Ibex hasn't been to harsh on you so far." He said, yawning a bit. "So... do you have any idea on how we can get out of here? Because I'm not coming up with anything right now."

Ava || Mentions: Jericho "Good to see you up and about Ava. Hopefully Ibex hasn't been to harsh on you so far." Refraining herself from replying with a nasty remark, she sighed quietly, "Oh I am dandy," she muttered, giving off attitude. She took her hand away from her face, tucking it into her side jean pocket, shaking her head, "So... do you have any idea on how we can get out of here? Because I'm not coming up with anything right now." Scoffing, she pointed towards the black window, "You're asking me how to escape in front of what could be 20 scientists. Aren't you just a smart little boy." She kept her voice low, avoiding eye contact with that black window, it freaked her out. The only thing she got from looking at that window was horrid memories for long ago, but unfortunately, those memories were going to come right up and smack her in the face. "One, if I did have a plan, I wouldn't tell you. Two- well, I do not have a plan, I have been dealing with a disgusting, physcotic admirer for the past hour and been to worried about how and when he is going to kill me because I didn't let him cuddle me without fuss," she blurted, only recgognizing moments later what she said, she snapped her lips shut, grimacing. "I should not have said that," she mumbled. "Anywho-" Ava attempted to move on. She looked around, "You must be worried about your little crazy girlfriend," Ava scoffed, crossing her arms over her chest.

Malaki: Mentions: Night "Well, that's pretty much how we all found each other. How long were you alone?" Night asked him. "To be honest with you... all my life. When I was captured for the first time, I was thrown into solitary and never saw another experiment for the time I was there. I would rarely see the doctors performing the tests and the guards who escorted me were covered to the nines in clothing and armor, so I thought for the longest time that they weren't human either. When I found out that she was like me I felt so relieved." He paused to take a breath and keep his emotions in check. Jericho: Mentions: Ero and Ava "Anywho-" Ava attempted to move on. She looked around, "You must be worried about your little crazy girlfriend," Ava scoffed, crossing her arms over her chest. Jericho was about to reply to that, but something she said right before that made him stop to pause for thought. "Uh... you know what? I'm not going to ask about what you were talking about earlier. And as for Ero, yes I'm worried about her. We keep getting separated from one another, and I'm scared that's going to damage her the more times it happens." He sighed, hooking his pockets with his thumbs. "We really need to find a way out of here." He looked over at the black mirror, wondering if Dr. Volks was behind it.

Anna: Mentions: Anyone in The South Corridor. Anna awoke to the sounds of footsteps. She heard the echoes of locks unlocking and doors swinging open. Things were being placed here and there with noticeable thumps. Then the doors closed and locks locked; the silence was back again as quickly as it had been broken. “Hvað er þetta allt?” (What is all this?) she muttered in Icelandic for what was likely the thousandth time. She’d lost count. “Hvað er þetta allt? Hvar er ég? Hvað er þetta?” (What is all this? Where am I? What is this?) Anna had been running from law enforcement for years. Before all this she’d prided herself she’d only seen the juvenile jail system twice. American jail was strange… the room was so white, so closed off. Nothing like she’d seen in the movies. Not to mention last she’d checked, police didn’t use tranquilizer darts. Sitting up and leaning against the wall, she ran her thoughts through all the usual questions and suspicions. She had no idea how long she’d been here. Maybe a couple weeks? Gritting her teeth, she stared at her right hand. It was solid gold and had been since she’d first arrived here. The ominous uncertainty and the eerie unfamiliarity of it all was getting to her. “Release.” she told it, taking deep breaths. “Gefa út. Slepptu. Let Go!’” Nothing happened. Sighing, she decided she was done with silence and began to tap on her golden hand with the fingernails of the other. Tink tink tink. Much better. Tink tink, tink. She started tapping her feet. Tink tap tink tink. Tap tink tink. Tap tap tink. Anna arose from her seat, still tapping on her hand. Tink tink tink. Tink, tink tink. She began to stomp her feet to her new rhythm. Tink thump tink tink. Thump tink tink. Tap tink tink. Thump tink tink. Tink tink tink. Tink, tink tap. She danced as she made these sounds, closing her eyes and swirling around, listening to her music and doing her best to relax. Her hand remained frozen in gold, but she was at least distracted from it. Edited at November 16, 2021 10:57 AM by MistCassel

Night | M: Malaki Night listened to Malaki before going quiet. He wasn't sure whether to trust this new experiment or not. Although, it wouldn't be fair to ask him all these questions and not answer them himself. He sighed before saying, "Sky wasn't always like she is now. We knew her as a happy-go-lucky girl. Years change people though." He stopped there before saying, "She would probably tell you the rest. It's her story to tell, not mine. Especially since I haven't seen her for a bit."
Night stretched before a dagger appeared in his hand. He flipped it casually giving himself something to fidget with before saying, "How old are you kid? Being alone isn't the best thing to be with Ibex around. We all have learned that too many times." He flipped the dagger again before throwing it at the door, hearing the satisfying thump as it sank into the metal.

Malaki: Mentions: Night "How old are you kid? Being alone isn't the best thing to be with Ibex around. We all have learned that too many times." He heard Night say, before hearing a thump in the other room. "Well... I'm 24 right now, however I was captured by Ibex when I was... 13? 14? I honestly can't remember at this point. My parents were sick of my rebellion against him: listening to metal, ignoring them in general... the usual stuff. They thought that it would be good for me to go to military school and learn some 'respect,' but as it turned out they were signing my life away to Ibex. A week later they showed me a picture of both of my parents dead and promised that I no longer had a life to come back to if I ever escaped. Considering the town I lived in I wouldn't be surprised if they paid off the cops and people in power to keep them silent and not bat an eyelash at the case." He balled up his fist and banged it against the wall in frustration. "I don't know why, but the guy watching over my progress, a crackpot by the name of Dr. Moriarty, was so hellbent in seeing something so incredibly special in me, but when I got out it was never realized."

Night | M: Malaki Night listened to him before saying quietly, "Not sure what would be worse, your parents abandoning you or signing you off to Ibex. At least you were a bit older." He leaned up against the wall before continuing, "I was abandoned when I was about 5 years old. A gang found me, took me in before Ibex attacked and took me away at the age of 10. My leader got killed in a scuffle afterwards, but that's all been taken care of. Ibex held me for a good 12 years before I escaped in the first fires. After a few months, stumbled upon some of the others. Our ragtag group outran Ibex for quite a time, facing our own difficulties along the way. I found Kage, the love of my life and we had our son Eclipse. 9-10 years ago that is. The group split up as Ibex became less of a threat and then the last of the fires happened and we thought Ibex was gone forever finally. How wrong we were..."
Night paused before saying, "I am 32 years old now and sick and tired of Ibex. All I want to do is burn it to the ground and keep it that way. If I had that power, I envy Flame for her pyrokenisis." He fell silent, sitting down and leaned his head back on the wall.
