- Follow all Wolfplay Rules!
- No hotlinking unless cleared by me! I do not want mods to lock this roleplay.
- Contact the player if you wanna kill/attack their character.
- Hate the Character. Not the player.
- Don't be that guy. You know always getting in trouble by the high rankings or getting seriously injured or finding a way for attention.
- Your character cannot have an NPC mate, they will be considered a 2nd or 3rd character.
- Each person is allowed 3 characters Gender does not matter but if you have 3 characters please try to have one of them a different gender!
- Semi-literate, literate is fine but keep in mind it will be a mainly semi-literate roleplay so if you don't like how someone is typing, you're out of luck.
- 100 words at least, unless it is a conversation between two characters, then preferably 50+ words. Everyone types differently so some people may reach 300+ words, so don't feel pressured to write that much.
- NPC dragons or dragons that don't have anyone specifically controlling them are allowed. A clutch of NPC hatchlings has a certain extent to them since they will naturally be controlled by the parents or whoever is in charge of them. (Brood mother, or guardian)

- Alpha (Male role): protects the Colony from bigger threats such as a rogue dragon trying to steal the role of alpha. The alpha also handles disputes within the colony and settles fights.
- Queen (Female role): the alpha's mate, she settles the issue with hatchlings, so if their mother dies she figures out which brood Mother gets her.
- Dragoness in waiting (Female Role): Normally the Queen's best friend, is always by her side. If something happens to the queen then the dragoness-in-waiting takes over
- The right hand (Male Role): basically the Beta When the Alpha isn't healthy he takes charge and is next in line until the Alpha produces an heir
- The right hand's mate (Female Role): the role basically explains itself, except she doesn't replace the queen
- Warrior (Any Gender): these are the protectors of the colony, but they just protect from the smaller problems, such as humans or rogue dragons trying to sneak their way into the colony.
- Hunter (Any Gender): Hunters gather food and will spend most of their day hunting and tracking prey. Reporting on the prey status, so if populations are low or high
- Gatherer (Any Gender): gathers materials and other things the colony might need, such as herbs to help heal wounds or nest materials
- Brood Mothers (Female or Herm): They have, raise, and take care of the hatchlings whether they are their own, abandoned, or just need to be babysat.
- Nesting Mother(Female or Herm): a dragon only wishing to raise their own
- Elders (Any Gender): The eldest members of the clan, and the ones the alpha turns to for advice.
- Hire (Any Gender): They will be given a different role each day, they can only be assigned one of the three roles (warrior, hunter, gatherer)

Elders aren't expected to do much since they are elderly dragons and might not be as strong as they used to be. they are filled with lots of stories and have a tendency to hang around the mothers so they can help entertain the little ones since they can be exhausting at times.
To sum it up they are basically the advisors for the entire colony, as they lend advice to those in need.
There will be some who prefer the old traditions, so they are hermophobic (basically the dragon term for transphobic). Some of them won't support same-gender pairings either.

+ 3rd Person + As the sun rose over the horizon, the older male was starting to wake up. With a yawn, he raised his head and stretched. Tiredly, King got up and started to wander around the colony, as most were still asleep. It was definitely a quiet and peaceful morning, but that would change once the hatchlings awoke. So he enjoyed the silent morning as he sat outside one of the entrances and let the sun hit his scales. Urimenor was fast asleep, as she currently didn't have a brood to tend to. She didn't have a mate so she could only be a brood mother until she found one. She was always looking though, she was never the type to make the first move. She was more of a traditional female, quiet, reserved, and would rather stay and raise hatchlings than fight. But she didn't oppose same-gender pairs or herms. After all her adopted sibling, Sharp, is a Herm. So she couldn't really say much if she wanted. Sharp had already been up for a bit. As they were always an early morning riser, mainly because if they was quick he would get to pick what he wanted to do. They wanted to be a gatherer today because they were still a bit sore from the day before as a hunter. As they sat, patiently waiting, their mind started to wander. They wanted to visit their Grandmother, after all, she was the only blood relative that they had. They were scared to visit though, as most elders aren't exactly excepting of them being a herm. |

Hera usually woke up before the sun, probably some kind of habit that all elders seem to do. She didn't complain though, it was always nice watching the sun rise while the rest of the colony was silent. The elder sat outside her cave, looking majestic as usual. Her head tutted against the ground, facing upwards, towards where the sun will rise. The breeze swept up her feather's letting them sway beautifully.
The old dragoness counted every passing second waiting for she could sense the colony growing restless in their slumber. An orange glimmer flickered in the horizon announcing morning. Slowly the sun hit her scales, causing a warm and pleasant sensation. She knew this would be a normal morning, another day without much change. These were one of her favorite mornings, she hated change and this morning had none so far. |

Travis & Daniel - The red hue of the sun shown brightly against Travis's scales. His eyes were sharpened and focused as he stared out at the horizen, looking for anything and everything. The fire burned in his chest, flames licking from the slots between the scales on his chest and into the air while trails of smoke lifted from his nostrils and mouth. A gentle breeze pushed against his face and he closed his eyes just for a moment before a round of hacking made the spines along his back raise to attention. Travis turned with a huff, wings shaking and the tip of his tail twitching irritatedly but with worry as well. As he walked forward, closer to the sound of coughing, claws scraping against the rock, he poked his head into the large cave covered with spanish moss and lychen, pushing through the over drop and entering. Another bout of coughing erupted from a small bundle on the cave floors, surrounded by moss beds and on the other side, a trickle of water dripped down the rock wall. Travis loomed overhead Daniel for a moment before he frowned and nudged him with his snout, forcing the little dragon to pick it's head up. Daniel finished coughing before yawning aloud, then looked around before meeting his father's gaze. "Get something to drink." Travis ordered, voice deep and rough. |

Solstice Solstice woke to the sound of birds chirping and sunlight streaming in through the curtain of vines that covered the entrance to her cave. She looked out side to see that most of the others where all ready awake. Solstice slowly stretched out her wings and walked outside. She blinked as her eyes adjusted to the bright light. She yawned and looked around. Dragons were dotted around the clearing. The last scrapes of prey from yesterday where gone. Probably stolen from a daring scavenger. She could all ready tell that it was going to be a long day. As the only hunter she was probably one of the most hardworking dragons in the group, often waking up early and returning just as the sun went down. Sometimes she wished that she wasn't the only hunter. If only she could rest for a day. Who knows she could get lucky probably not though. |

+ 3rd Person - King + With a simple dive off the edge of his cave, King started his morning patrol by checking in on everyone. Most seemed awake, even Urimenor was starting to stir finally. He flew past Shard, It seemed that they were given the role of hunter today. It would only make them more muscular, but King knew that Shard liked the way they looked at the moment. Shard preferred to look slightly built but also have that slightly feminine figure. In their opinion, it showed that they weren't just one specific gender and they didn't want to be called one specific gender either. King took pride in how close he was with his children, even if one was adopted. He understood that it was hard for elders to adapt to change, but he made it one of his goals to try and be understandable and to be able to provide that safe space for those who couldn't find it in their own homes. + 3rd Person - Shard + Shard began to look for Solstice, the hunter of their colony. Flying trying to spot her, hoping she was still at her cave and they could catch her right before she left. They were just in luck, as she was still waking up and adjusting to the light. "I'm helping you for the day," Shard said as he landed far enough away from her so that she wouldn't feel crowded. Shard felt a little awkward just standing there but he was to follow her lead. + 3rd person - Urimenor + Uri had woken up a little bit ago and was now sunbathing at the entrance to her cave. She had nothing better to do, as she couldn't wander like most other members could. That and there were no hatchlings that needed to be raised at the moment either. Heck, not many abandoned hatchlings wander into colony territory anyway. So she just rested until an opportunity came, or until she was approached. |

Sostice "Oh, Ok," Solstice replied to Shard. better start hunting then she though. She took off and lead Share a bit away from the camp. She hadn't hunted in this area for a while and it was one of her favorite spots. " you hunt the area past the river and ill hunt around here. " She told Shard. |

Travis & Daniel - M: Hera - Daniel blinked lethargically before he rose to his feet, the world spinning for a moment. Unlike his father, he didn't radiate heat, and his scales seemed darker today more than usual. The little dragon lumbered forward before he began to drink from the stream, the cold water vitlaizing him and bringing a newfound strength to his body. He purred softly for a moment and finished his drink before stretching, his joints popping. "Go check on Hera before you go out today," Travis ordered, his voice echoing throughout the cave," Take note of what we need, ok?" The massive dragon turned, the spikes along his back soothing once Daniel's coughing subsided. "Yes, Sir." Daniel responded firmly, his eyes brightening as he grew more and more awake. He waited only a moment, to see if Travis needed anything else, before he scurried out of the cave and sped off by foot to find Hera, bringing some tasty berries as a gift along the way, and leaving Travis back on the front of the cave, over looking the small colony. |

. .Hera. . M: Daniel The scurrying of claws grew closer as the small dragon approached. Daniel was probably sent by his father to see what the colony needed, supplies and such. His red scales shimmered slightly in the sun. He looked almost like his father but not quite. The only thing truly noticeable about Daniel's appearance to his father's was the giant size gap, plus he lacked the strong, dominant aura which the alpha possesses. Today Daniel looked like he still hadn't woken up, perhaps staying up to late? Hera politely nodded at the dragoneer, "Good morning Daniel." She basically loomed over him with her majestic gloriousness doubled Daniel's height. "What brings you here?" The elder asked, though she already knew. |

Daniel - M: Hera - Daniel looks up at the tall lumbering dragon and he winces a bit, always forgetting how big Hera was, even so more than his father. He bowed shortly and gently sat the large grapes down on the ground in front of her polietly before sitting on his haunches, the tip of his tail wagging with pride of the gift he'd found for her. He did everything in his power to not smile and just sit still. Travis had always said to be respectful towards the Elders. Afterall, the colony had been built upon those of the past. "My dad wants me to go out and gather herbs and what not," Daniel said quickly but clearly," is there anything you might know that we're short on or in need of? I think we need thyme..." He trailed off as he thought, then immediately straightened his posture as a sign of respect. |
