===========================================
This just in, newly released from the parents and guardians of a group of highschoolers after a week of silence. A small group of teenagers has just been recovered from a massive fire up in Maine. The fire began at the Riverstone Acre Campground, just south of the small township of Redcliff, and many campers and counselors died in the blaze. These children were sent to the camp over the summer to help with behavioural issues they were diagnosed with, and Riverstone has had a history of the successful reformation of troubled teenagers. Unfortunately, many of the bodies have yet to be recovered, assumed to have been cremated in the heat. They were very lucky that many of the counselors sacrificed themselves to get as many of the kids out as they could. Our condolences go out to those families, and we are glad that the survivors are all safe and unharmed. That’s all for now, goodnight, New York. -New York News
============================================
Over the summer, you had been sent to an out-of-the-way camp deep in the woodlands of Maine in order to correct behavioral issues your parents, guardians, social workers, or other authority figure deemed you possessed. Along with a large group of others from your home city, all of you were shipped out to the Riverstone Acre Campground for Troubled Teens next to the tiny town of Redcliff. It was a technology blackout zone, where no internet, radio, or other such methods of communication would reach outside the camp’s massive grounds without special dispensation from the camp’s counselors. There you were supposed to go out into the wilderness to learn important lessons about life, love, and friendship, as well as fix whatever it was that got you sent there in the first place. In the beginning, you were mostly fine with the arrangement. Sure, the loss of the internet was a pain, but it wasn’t like any of those horror stories about these kinds of places you’d heard and read about before coming here. Unfortunately for you, the town, and campground by extension, was not a normal place. Deep in the woods, some of you learned things that had previously been kept as buried as possible. The place you were sent was, in fact, the front for a small cult. Their goal was to resurrect their demon god in order to destroy the ‘corrupted’ world and aid in the creation of a brand new, perfect Earth. They used the camp to gain members from the teenagers sent to their gates, and claimed that many of those kids had run away or died. You, and some of your friends, witnessed the human sacrifice of a homeless man taking place. The information was spread to everyone in the camp, and it was decided that you would all escape into the woods to plan more. Once as many of you got out as could make it, you retreated into the forest to figure out the situation. While living there, it was discovered that, not only was magic and the supernatural real, but that your group was able to use it. With magic and additional allies in the form of the wood’s resident monsters, the group of escaped teenagers trained until you were ready to take on the cult. You were too late to stop them completely, though. Their demon god, Jiallkh, (Gee-All-K) had been successfully summoned while you launched your assault. Thankfully, the demon did not have enough power to affect the world outside the barriers of the town quite yet, but the town of Redcliff was overrun with cultists and their demonic allies. Forced to retreat back into the forest once more, the last month of your summer was spent fighting through the cult and it’s summoned beasts to finally reach, and kill, Jiallkh. A pitched final battle ensued, and you emerged victorious over the god after the sacrifice of your leader, Taylor Amano, managed to destroy the object tying Jiallkh to reality, making it mortal. Many of your friends and allies died in the fighting, but the demon was killed, the cult destroyed, and the town restored to its pre demonic-invasion state. The last few days before you were due to be taken back were spent preparing, relaxing, and saying your goodbyes. The night before everyone was scheduled to leave, your group got together to burn down Riverstone Creek. Your guardians found you all soot-stained, standing outside the burning wreckage of the building. Some of your more humanoid monster friends took the places of camp counselors to smooth things over, and you were all returned home. Now the new school year begins, and you have to deal with a sharp return to normalcy after the adrenaline ride of this summer. Hopefully you’ll be able to get through the year without anything extreme happening, and maybe you’ll be able to recover from your ordeal in modern civilization.
===========================================
You, and a group of friends, have just returned from the summer camp from hell. After surviving a lack of any kind of adult supervision in the woods, a total collapse of civilization, and a guerilla warfare campaign, you’re back home. You’ve gained magic powers, to-the-death friends, and a boatload of trauma. Now you have to deal with your burgeoning PTSD alongside typical highschool drama, without showing that you have magic or accidentally stabbing someone before the year is out, all while the supernatural begins to pop up at home. Good luck, you’re going to need it.

(Can I make 1st post I am starting at the waking*
Pax Romana |14| male |Ranger + Druid
Pax saw Taylor and many others being struck down then all he could see was fire surrounding him then people hurting him then Blackness. Pax woke up his heart beating...He looked around at the other boys he had to share a room with. He looked at the peeling white walls and polished Wooden floor and shivered. He was slightly happy about the thought of leaving this place in 2 years time. Pax got changed underneath his duvet then rushed down to breakfast as the the breakfast bell chimed annoyingly. Pax entered the dining room and the chatter from all 100 children stopped,stared at him and then continued with their talk. Pax smiled awkwardly and sat down by himself in the furthered seat possible from anyone. All the children stopped their talk when Matron came and listened to the radio....
It was about the kids found in the dust. Pax shrunk in his seat as far as he could and tried to avoid the sharp,awkward unfriendly stares he was getting.
After breakfast he walked to school with one of the "supervisors" like he would run off snd not go off to school. He didn't. Even though Pax thought school laws a waste of time he trudged to school ans waited by the school gates with his "supervisor"
clinging on to his backpack. He loooked around solemnly for Trevor and the others. He wanted to get away from the woman who was firmly holding his backpack like he was going to run away. To be fair he did do it when he was 10 years old and a couple of others.He thought back to the Forest where although he lived in fear he had people looking out for him whet ther in the orphanage everyone only cared about themselves and maybe one other person.
Naomi Wolf | 16 |female |
Naomi awoke and realized she had fell asleep on her computer Again. She sighed and opened it and signed in,went to private browser and let put a sigh of relief. Her draft was still there. She quickly type the last sentence or so. "Thank you nice doing business with you Omaro. Hope the project goes well DFR Trigger Wolf " she whispered out loud as she texted. Once she had finished she deleted her tab then clicked off the private view and private server and signed out of her computer before locking it in her safe she had in the wall underneath her bed. She yawned and blinked at the time on her smashed but working electrical clock. She quickly slipped on her usual outfit and scrunched up her hair into a messy hairdo that looked half like a bun and half like a ponytail. She ran downstairs and checked the fridge but as usual it was empty. She walked out of the door and regretted not looking for when she turned the corner into the shady part of her street she ran into a client "When will the project be done Trigger" he growled his voice hinting a Slavic accent. " You it would be done by now,Shall we give you a lesson" Naomi's client put up his fist and smirked and beckoned Inton the shadows.
When Naomi finally got to school early for her in a change. Naomi rubbed her new black eye and smiled at the blood on her fingers. She quickly wiped them on her jeans when a parent came past. She wished her dads would do that but they had never done it....They were ever away or "having time together" or "having a break or dealing with clients. They one thing they weren't was at home with their daughter.Naomi sighed and Kent against the school gates bored ridged. She would have to wait for the school gates to creak open.

Rose | 16 | Female | Rouge & Cleric |
Rose stretched when she had awoken from her rest. She looked around and sighed. Another day. She thought and then stood up before looking around. She was alone, for once in her life, and she walked around the room she had slept in. She grabbed some clothes she usually wore no matter what day it was or what type of weather was outside. She saw the blades laying down on a nearby desk and breathed in. She smiled as she looked at the blades and picked them up. "Thank you for everything that you've helped me with." She whispered to the blades before placing them in the sheathes above her shoes. She looked around and took in the view of the room she slept in for the past few hours after getting out of the horrible place she had been trapped in and lived in for years. She hated the place. So much. She sighed and then looked at herself in a glass shard she saw and smiled. "Not bad, Rose." She said and then placed the shard down and breathed in a big breath. "Hide your footsteps." She said and then walked around silently. Not a single sound could be heard around her. Almost as if she was never there. She smiled at this. Finally. She thought and then opened the door and walked out. She was going to school which was confusing to her. She hadn't been to school very much before she got taken but she was excited for this. Secretly, of course. She wouldn't let anyone else know that she was. She walked faster as she saw something in the distance and even though she had weapons with her she promised not to use them unless she had to.

Trevor Ferroson/17/Male/Ranger & Wizard/Mentions: Open
============================================
It was dark. The air was thick with a mess of different conflicting scents, all unplesant alone but especially so combined. Smoke, gunpowder, sweat, blood, and so many other smells permeated the air like a fog. Otherwise, it was quiet. He was lurking on a thick branch, hand resting on the thick trunk. Thankfully the moon wasn't bright tonight. It would be harder to see him. A soft rustling could be heard as the wind blew through the trees, moving the leaves and branches. A slightly louder shifting came from a few meters out of the treeline, something most definitely larger than a rabbit. This was what he'd been waiting for. A slight shift on the balls of his feet got Trevor into a ready position. Just a little closer, now. He waited, tense and unmoving, for whatever it was to wander just a hint further into the trees. He dared not throw something in an attempt to draw it in closer, because any kind of noise would just make it harder to take down. Another few minutes passed, with Trevor barely breathing, until whatever it was finally came close enough to attack. He didn't leap, as that would have given precious milliseconds of warning as he came down, and the thing wasn't far enough away to merit any kind of additional propulsion. Trevor tilted forwards, letting his weight overbalance him on the branch, and he tumbled silently onto the beast. A flash of pinkish fur and green-blue scales was all he caught before his booted feet slammed on it's shoulders and his knives sunk into what might have been a neck. The creature gave a muffled, gurgling blubber as it collapsed, and Trevor didn't dare remove the blades until it's body had stopped twitching. Unfortunatly, it hadn't been as alone as he'd thought, and its partner sounded a loud, shrieking alarm.
~
His fist, still curled as if around a polymer grip, shot out and slashed at the source of the noise. When no resistance met his swipe, and he registered the lack of comfortable weight in his fist, Trevor fell back to his bed with a defeated sigh. He rolled over and slapped the off button on the plastic box. It was way too early to be awake, how would he have enough energy to- But he didn't need to stay up all night to kill off any searching cultists. They were all out of that forest, that town. And today was the first day of school. God, school. How was he going to deal with all the idiots badgering him about what happened? At least the others would be there, that was good. Trevor might have a minor case of separation anxiety right now, but it would pass, he'd be fine. He just needed to make sure that they weren't all trapped in some sick illusion magic, or that the cult wasn't just biding their time to return. It'd be fine. Trevor dragged himself to his dresser, pulling out the same outfit he'd been wearing that last day. It was covered in patches and evidence of some less-than-savory stains, though most had been scrubbed out as soon as possible. It felt right, wearing something he knew could hold up to threats. If there had been an enforced uniform, Trevor would have ignored it entirely, damn the consequences. Though they all would probably have quite a bit of leeway, given the story they'd spun. He studiously ignored the still-red skin of his face and the unhealed scratches, brusies, and burns he'd accumulated before they'd gotten back. The dark bags under his eyes were likewise not regarded in any way, shape, or form. He'd be fine. Trevor had to remind himself that yes, food was readily availible now, and he didn't have to live off of one and a half meals a day anymore. So instead of skipping the kitchen, he grabbed a jar of chunky peanutbutter, box of crackers, and a spoon. A better breakfast than he'd had in the forest, that's for certain. As he stood at the counter and began making peanut-saltine finger sandwiches, he got an odd look from his foster dad, but no comment. That vaguely confused Trevor for a moment, but then he remembered that he'd used to sit down to eat. That had changed once they ran off, because it took too long to stand up and grab whatever they'd been eating when they had to book it. The food was scarfed down about as quickly as he could, another habit from the camp, and Trevor trudged off to pull on his worn boots. The mud had been washed off, the frayed laces replaced, but the core of the footwear was still the same. He looked around for his rucksack, but it was deemed 'not for school' and so he couldn't take it with him. Sighing silently to himself, Trevor picked up the considerably smaller and less useful school bag, weighed down by useless junk, and went out to wait for the bus. He'd rather walk, but nobody wanted to let him. Apparently it was 'too far'. The youngest among them had walked longer distances, while wounded! But whatever, it was fine. Trevor beat down the recently-ingrained instinct to breathe deep, to check the magic in the air for threats. He knew that it would only bring about the cold, empty, dead feeling of a magic-less enviornment. He knew the bus would be worse. When the dirty goldenrod box on wheels pulled up to the driveway, he dragged himself onto the clanking metal monstrosity and found an empty seat next to a window in the back. He stacked his bag at the end of the bench to dissuade anyone else from taking a seat. He'd already checked with the others, and his bus route didn't overlap with any of the others, so he wouldn't have anyone to talk to on the way to and from school. So instead, Trevor stared out the window to pass the time. Half an hour passed of picking up kids until they reached the school building. It was a collection of boxes where the original building was added on to, all beige and tan brick with few windows. He followed the crowd into the building, doing his best to keep the strangers from getting too close to his personal space. The halls were all white and grey tile, obviously grubby with the passing of countless children and teenagers. He'd sent a text to the ones he'd known the numbers of with his locker number and that he'd be waiting there until he absolutly had to leave. Always good to have a meeting place, and they could figure out how they were all going to deal with the whole 'school' thing. Trevor pulled open the dented metal locker and messed around with some of the stuff he'd left there. Once he was sure he'd gotten everything he needed, he closed the locker and leaned against it, waiting for the others to show. Trevor glared at anyone who started to look at him funny for waiting, making absolutly certain that there was a good amount of space around him for the others. The only reason he wasn't on top of the lockers right now or hiding in the ceiling panels was because he had his knives hidden beneath his jacket.

Pax Romana
Pax was seen off by his "supervisor" and he walked to the school building feeling quite overwhelmed. He frize
outside in a mixture of fear and pencil and also being overwhelmed. He blinked and took a deep breathe. He spotted Trevor and without smiling.
He looked at Trevor and said without saying that he didn't like school. His eyes,body position and even the twitch in his ears showed he was full in terrified. Then 14 year old kid looked down at his feet and then back up to Trevor. He blinked many times,amd
ckexhes his sweaty palms. (Short ish )

Trevor Ferroson/17/Male/Ranger & Wizard/Mentions: Pax
============================================
He'd been there for a few minutes when Pax showed up. And oh boy, was he barely restraining himself from murder. Trevor's glare shot up a few notches from 'generally angry' all the way to 'contemplating aggrivated assault' A slight shift forwards and to the left opened up a decently-sized patch of locker for Pax to hide in if he felt like it. Trevor rolled his shoulders to loosen them up, already preparing for a fight, and palming his knives beneath his crossed arms. The area around his locker cleared a tad more as the strangers pulled back from his very obviously projected aggression. A few people gave Pax confused and mildly concerned looks. Those kids got an extra harsh glare and minor baring of teeth. He was doing his best to look the part of the dangerous, half-deranged feral child to get everyone else to back right the hell off.

Rose | 16 | Female | Rouge & Cleric | M: Open
Rose walked around until she looked up. She blinked and rubbed her eyes. She was still tired, as her body was still moving sluggish, but she knew she had to start walking. Walking would be one of the only things that would wake her. It did not matter when or where. She closed her eyes and listened to the sounds of things around her.
Rose did not know that others were going to make it to the school she was going to but that did not matter to her. She just wanted to be left alone. Please let me be alone. She thought as she looked at her hands and suddenly was reminded of what she had done in the past by a hallucination of blood trickling down her hands. She mentally panicked but shook her head to get rid of it. She looked back at her hands and they were back to normal. She sighed again, relieved it was only a hallucination and continued on her way.
Rose was all alone as she walked. It was still sort of dark when she opened her eyes to look around. She didn't mind being alone or walking in the dark. She actually preferred this. She stretched again and looked around to see if anyone was following her as she started heading towards the school she was supposed to be at. Please let it be a normal school. She begged her mind as she walked. I don't want to be reminded of what happened back then. Please, please, please. She closed her eyes as she walked, nearly running into a few light poles but with her quick movements and body functions, she walked around the poles each time. She didn't have to tell her body how to move that much; it was instincts that helped her survive. If she was going to be hurt all she would have to do would be close her eyes and stop thinking. Her body did the rest.

Ichiyuu Shizuya Mochizuki | 16 | M | W & Ro | Mentions; Other Survivors(Ind/Dir.)

Ichiyuu woke up, not feeling up to the task of getting out of bed. If he got up then that would mean he’d have to continue through the hellhole that was now Redcliff. He was not in the mood to deal with the fake counselors…

--

He sighed, a sharp pain at his mouth reminding him it was over and that he was home and that today was the first day of school. He huffed, barely moving his mouth this time. He wasn’t in the mood to upset it. He also wasn’t in the mood for school. Well, sometimes people get what they want and sometimes they don’t. Since the huff did cause pain and he did have to go to school.

--

He got up and quickly changed, not even looking into the mirror once. He grabbed the newest addition to his outfit, a hygiene mask, and put it on without a second thought. He didn’t need people to see it, they’d probably think he’d done it to himself anyways.

--

He left his room, the house already bustling. At least that meant he could simply grab his bag and go… So he started on his way to where his bag was, tripping over his own feet halfway there. Really? Right now? It couldn’t have waited? He scowled and picked himself up, continuing. He really hoped his bad luck wouldn’t flare at school or around the others…

--

As soon as he grabbed his bag, he was leaving the crowded house and starting his walk to school. Ichiyuu couldn’t tell if he was nervous, excited, or annoyed… On some levels, all three. Nervous because he was almost always nervous, excited because the others would be there at least, and annoyed because of school itself.

--

When he finally reached the courtyard of the school, the walk taking longer than it should’ve because of a few more trips and almost getting run over once or twice. Ichiyuu went inside, seeing Pax and Trevor at a locker. He considered going over there, but given his rep as a loner and all… He found himself walking over anyways, staying silent and sending glares to anyone that even glanced at him.

--

He didn’t go right up to them, but did lean against one of the nearby lockers with a slight nod of his head towards them.

Gwyar Ariethous Fraoch | 16 | M | K & C | Mentions; Other Survivors(Ind/Dir.)

Everything was dark, and even though he couldn’t see… The walls felt close, where was he? Where was everyone else? Even if he couldn’t see, he could still use his Oakeshott XII, figure out where the others are… He went to grab it, but his hand was met with nothing. No XII handle, no sabre handle, no gladius handle, no tomahawk handle- Nothing.

--

He tensed, looking around in the darkness. In a burst of panic he checked his face for the skull, he needed something, and he obviously didn’t have his armor. No skull. What was happening? He heard a sound and turned quickly, squinting to try and see… A blast of magic hit him straight in the forehead- He wasn’t hurt though. Why? He gritted his teeth and watched, blinking as his eyes started to adjust to the darkness. He could faintly make out a figure… The walls were close, like a cage. And he moved forwards, just as he would back in the arena, he angled himself to be able to get in the first hit and-

--

Gwyar woke up, shooting straight up and breathing heavily. He hated that one the most. Forget the fire, forget the climax- He could deal with those… But that one? No. Never… And already his fallen foes were yelling at him. He took a deep breath to calm himself, and looked around the bare room.

--

The owners of his place of residence, his foster parents, had still taken him into their custody and had still been taking him to the arena and had still been refusing to allow him care or even personal touch to the room he resided in. He was just glad that they didn’t make him push the bed against the wall…

--

Ignoring the yelling as best as he could, he got up to try and distract himself from the nightmare. The one that resulted in him becoming more of a liability than an asset. He hadn’t known then why the first hit of magic hadn’t immediately killed him, and now that he did know… He wished he still didn’t.

--

He changed in silence, the only noise coming from the loud talking in his own mind. Well… Not his own, anymore. He didn’t want to think about that either though, he just wanted to ignore them.

--

He took extra care of his right arm, which had been pretty badly injured in his last arena fight… Yesterday… They really didn’t know how to let him take a break, huh? He supposed it was fine, they were still letting him stay with them. After he finished changing, he grabbed the school bag he kept in his room and left the house through the singular window.

--

After he was on the ground, he began his walk. Trying to distract himself, he paid extra attention to the area around him. He even switched on his magic sense, though he knew the only magic he’d feel would be from his head. He switched it off almost immediately, not wanting the reminder.

--

When he arrived at the school, he thought about whether he should actually go and find the others or not… Could he really trust himself? Given the curses? Given everything? He stuffed his right arm further into his jacket’s pocket and decided that it would be fine.

--

He easily saw Ichiyuu, Trevor, and Pax all at a locker together, so he went over to them, glad that he wouldn’t have to search for them. He simply hoped that he’d be able to keep his right arm in his pocket around them… They didn’t need to see the bandages, the poorly done ones at that. They didn’t need to see the bruises and sprain either… He simply hoped the arm wasn’t broken… How would he be able to help them if it was? Sprains and bruises he could fight through, a broken arm though? Not so much.

Jackson didn't hear his alarm go off and ended up sleeping in pretty late. When he woke up, he sighed at the the time and dragged himself out of bed, missing the warmth and comfort it offered. He rubbed his eyes a few times and stretched until his back made a satisfying pop. Once he was for stretching, he went to get dressed for school, not wanting to take a shower since he knew how slim the time was now. It's not like he cared all that much, but he knew he might as well get TRY to there on time. He brushed his teeth and brushed his hair swiftly until he thought it looked decent enough. Jack grabbed his backpack and walked outside. The light of he sun immediately made him narrow his eyes and tryo adjust to the sudden light. He wondered why it was always so bright as he continued to walk to school since he couldn't stand being in a bus and obviously didn't own a car. He didn't see anyone on the path he took to get to school. His pace was rather quick, but he wasn't sprinting at all. Usually, he would have stopped on the way, but he wanted to meet some of the people before classes had stared and abandoned the idea of stopping. Jackson saw the gates of the school,and behind it was a rather large building. There were a few people already there, and he smiled to himself before walking closer to the gates.

Rose | 16 | Female | Rouge & Cleric | M: Jackson Moone
Rose saw Jackson and gulped down a worried sigh as she walked over to him. Her footsteps were almost non-existent "Hello." She said. Her voice, much like her feet, could be barely heard. She was nervous to meet someone but she knew that she had to at least talk with one person. Couldn't be that bad, right? She asked herself before clearing her throat. "My name is Rose. Who are you?" She asked and felt her hands shake but she put them together. She hated talking with people, talking, in general, made her shake and fumble with her words. She entwined her hands together as she looked back to Jackson. Her senses were on high alert as she saw more and more new things. She felt the need to run but stayed still. Hopefully, he did not realize that she wanted to flee. She wouldn't run from a fight, but she would run if she was talking. Strange thing, really. She didn't know much about him and that was strange to her. She cleared her throat again as she felt it getting scratchy and sore. Why was talking so hard for her? She had no idea. She looked at him and then started doing something with her body. Any movement really. Swaying was what she did. Her body felt much more comfortable moving than staying still. She didn't know why exactly but it helped her before and is helping her now. She was trying to stay calm despite her fears and tried smiling. She smiled a little nervously but that was just it. Nervousness. She could hear her heart pound in her chest as she waited for him to speak. Say something. Please. She begged in her mind.
