Evan threw his sword in frustration. Lot of good it did. As if having a bow would've helped anyways. He started into the sky, panting as he caught his breath. As he calmed down, he spotted the cub. Oh right. He was probably scaring it. Slowly, he walked over and retrieved his sword, carefully putting it away. "Sorry, buddy. I knew what would happened, and I still let it happen." He told it. Rocky You decide to finally investigate the body... as you lift up the tarp, immediately, something looking like fish flies comes rushing out towards you, nipping at your face. Luckily, your resitance to Ailments is just enough to let you dash back through the bushes and onto the path you were on before. Panting and stressed you shake your coat to make sure none of them were hitching a ride. You must be lucky... However, once you look back to the path, all your fur stands on end and your lips raise instinctively... as you're greeted with a staircase... A Staircase that you are definitely positive wasn't there before. Your senses tell you to run far away from this thing, but it is curious for sure... -You May- Climb the Stairs Run Away Run Past the Stairs

Evan You look down at the frightened little creature and apologize to it... it seems to understand that that means it's mother is gone... It whimpers and flattens it's little ears, putting it's head on its paws solemly. But still obviously nervous to come out. -You May- Give it Some Jerky Try to Grab It Leave It

Top Rock Group You decide to head through the forest towards the dragon sound, making sure to stick close together after seeing the huge Lizards. However, soon into your journey, you find a broken campsite... it doesn't look like anything good happened here recently. But there may be something useful or valuable here. There's several busted tents that you could easily get into, as well as a fire pit and oddly, a treehouse in one of the scorched trees clutching onto the Lava rocks. -Moth- -You May- Investigate the Tents Investigate the Firepit Investigate the Treehouse . -Adira- -You May- Investigate the Tents Investigate the Firepit Investigate the Treehouse

"Yeah, you're a smart little bugger, aren't you?" Evan said solemnly, setting the Coati down again. He took out another piece of jerky, holding it up for the cub to see. "Now you can take it or you can leave it, but we both know you're not going to make it very far on your own" He told the cub as he approached. He placed it at the mouth of its den, backing up to give it space.

Evan The cub seemed to hear you, and looked away as it thought for a moment, before standing up and padding up to get the piece of jerky, before slowly coming out to your side, and sitting down in front of you. -You've Tamed a Wild Dog Cub!- You'll have to name him soon You look around and realize there are a couple options. A trail that will lead you back to the Mushroom fields. A small gametrail through the bush trees. Or a sandy trail that heads downhill. -You May- Return to the Mushroom Feilds Trek Through the Bush Trees Head down the sandy trail

Rocky-canine fur standing on end, his eyes stare at the staircase. He's positive that it wasn't there before. But his curiosity once again overrides the fear and feeling of danger. He takes a few steps towards the staircase hoping that this wasn't a horrible idea

Evan rubbed the Wild Dog behind the ears. "I couldn't protect your mom, but I can protect you, Cassidy." He said, collecting himself. "Now we still need to catch ourselves a Cheetah. Stay close guys" He took a look around, studying his surrounding more carefully. Cheetahs he'd heard about would need wide open plains to run in, but noticing a gametrail through the bush trees, he decided to follow it. A lead was better than no lead.
