"Thank you, Chai." Lyka said. "And Skylar..." she just gestured at the desk sticking halfway through the blackboard. "Let's just say that I'm not very good at shifting today." She curled into a corner still as her coyote form, feeling even more embarrassed now that her crush was here.

"Nah you good happens to me all the time." I curl up next to Lyka." Chai how much longer of the class?" I lick Lyka's noise and stand up going to a corner near the front of the class and sit

"if you feel akward, tell me, and i'll let you go." i said, smiling at her.

The moment Skylar was gone, I burst out laughing. "Go tell her, Skylar." I whisper to myself, still laughing.

Lyka blinked gratefully at him, and shifted into her huge wolf form. She sat in the front of Chai's class, and woofed, "How do you use shadow magic?" She waited for Chai to answer, trying not to fidget.

I laugh a little when Lyka says how do you use shadow magic." You honestly don't know how to use it Lyka?" I shift into my human form walking towards Lyka and making a lightning ball in my hand and making it turn pitch black like shadows

I shift into a hawk and fly back through the window, shifting back into my human form. I look at the black orb in Skylars hand and make a tiny cloud in my own turn into a black sphere, identical to Skylars.

I stare in fascination at the shadow ball. "No," I say. "That's so cool you know how to do that!" I concentrate, and a small ball of brilliant white fire appears on my palm. Suddenly, it turns midnight dark and I grin. "I guess I do know how!"
