Layne Marie // M // 17 // Star Lead // Respawn/Winged // M: Silver, Askel Much to his surprise, the other young woman was rather excited--despite everything that had just happened. The way her voice rose in pitch, the look in her eyes--everything. It was the initial tone that had him pausing in his steps and turning around to look back at her. The smile was there but it wasn't... what it used to be. Sure it was in her cheeks, but it wasn't in her eyes. The soft brown eyes that just didn't glimmer like they had before. it was that kind of smile that really hurt. It drove that knife deep into his chest and Layne wished nothing more than to ignore it and help that smile reach her eyes. To see the gold sparkle once again. Not to see a pained reflection of what might've been joy. But he bobbed his own head nonetheless. "Yeah, it's... yeah. They approved it," Layne confirmed, stammering for a moment or two. It still seemed so hard to believe. "Right now? It's just me... and Askel just barely but... gladly." His lips pulled into a weary smile. "Gladly. Of course you two are accepted, and anyone else who needs a refuge," Layne said quietly. "But... uh... I'm kinda... starving," he rubbed the back of his neck." |

Silver | Female | Star Student | Energy Manipulation | M: Layne "Food.. actually sounds really good. It'd be a good idea after the uh... You know what we just went through." She gave a nervous chuckle as she stepped further into the hallway, casting a wary glance back at the room. "Damn.. It's going to be harder for me to reach home.. or anywhere really. I probably should've thought about that before I smashed my phone up... Oh well. No more social media I suppose." Silver shrugged as she tucked a stray strand of her white hair behind her ear to keep it from resting over her face. ° With a small sigh, she tightened the grip on the bag that hung around her neck, gripping it directly on-top of a weak patch where the strap had begun to fray. ° "You think they might actually have some really good food since it's Christmas? Maybe a roast! Roast ham, roast chicken, roast pork... Oha! Can't forget the roast veges and the puddings too!" Silver beamed, seemingly cheering up a bit at the thought of a usual Christmas feast. |

"Otherwise, I... honestly don't know what I'd do." The young man rubbed the back of his neck, his wings folding awkwardly against his back once again. "But yeah. We ... we can at least see what there is to eat first and then get the whole room situation solved. I personally don't mind having another roommate, the room itself is big enough it's probably meant for three." Layne waved one hand, realizing after a moment or two that he had just began to ramble. He fell silent, chewing on the inside of his lip as he tried to get his thoughts to settle down. "Yeah." |

I sit in my room for a bit longer, thinking about what just happened, then get up off the ground rubbing my sore legs. I shift to a wolf and stretch, before stalking to the window and crouching to watch the snowball fight. I jump out, dodging a snowball, and ask, "May I join?" |

" I saw biscuits and gravy, sausage/chicken biscuits, pancakes, cereal, grits, oatmeal, bacon, eggs, breakfast ham, toast, and fresh fruit." Hello hello it is I the owner of this RP anyway Events It's almost dark and people need to start heading inside. The principal got lost and we don't know where she is. The power to the school went out and the protection wards are down you gotta fend for yourselves fight off monsters |
