I followed Alex and Skylar, and nodded. "Yeah. I got mad because Mrs. Gray was being unfair, in my opinion, and argued with her. She said that Alex could be your roommate, and I said you probably wanted to stay with Pierce. I got him instead." I pushed at the ground with my foot, and smiled warmly at my teacher as he handed me a present. "Thank you!" I handed him my wolf in exchange. |

Layne Marie // M // 17 // Star Lead // Respawn/Winged // M: Askel, Silver Layne returned Askel a grateful smile as he managed to cool the room down to a comfortable temperature. The team clung to his feathers, weighing them down but he didn't seem to care. One hand just rubbed along Silver's back, the other holding her shoulders close. "It's not right," Layne whispered quietly. "It doesn't matter what you say or think, it'll hurt. But I guess it shows their true colors," he mumbled. "But we won't ever leave you." Or at least he wouldn't. It was early enough in the morning that he figured she hadn't eaten yet. But probably wouldn't anyways. "Silver...?" He prompted quietly. "What can I do to help?"

Silver | Female | Fire Student | Energy Manipulation | M: Layne, Askel She gave a soft shake of her head as she took a small step back, just enough to be able to comfortably look up at him without being centimetres from his face. "...I'll be fine..." She spoke, still clearly upset as her voice wavered like she was still on the verge of tears. "...I.. made such a mess of things.. didnt I..?" She half chuckled at Askel's comment on the room. "It definitely would've helped... The room at least... Can't say the same for my work books." Her gaze fell sad again as she reached over to her desk, still keeping one arm looped around Layne's waist as she pried a burnt book up between her thumb and her index finger, watching as it refused to hold shape and instead crumbled away into a pile of ash. "...Shit." A long sigh left her lips as she gave Layne one last squeeze before completely letting go, searching along side Askel for anything she could still hold onto. She was fortunate to find one of her sports bags still intact, though the straps were a little bit on the crisp side. ° She set about grabbing whatever was still in one piece and fixable. Most of her clothes seemed to have made it out for better or for worse, most of the sleeves being pretty singed up. "...Ugh... I just realised, this means I'm going to have to move rooms... Hopefully I'll get another to myself.." She groaned as she packed the last of what she could find, heading towards the door. "..I'm sorry you both had to be apart of that.. Especially since it's Christmas.. How's about we go see where everyone else is? Try make the most of the day. I'll worry about this stuff later." Silver gave her best attempt at a comforting smile, though it definitely had a strain to it. At least the thought of genuineness was shining through. |

"I agree." I said, nodding at Alex. "It is a bit strange." I smiled at Pierce. "No offense though, I'm sure you'll be a great roommate!" I started pacing, wondering if I could open my presents yet. I wished I could shift, as my human form was pretty sore and I wanted to be able to snuggle with Skylar without being too suspicious. |
