Arath fluffed up his own wings, watching the others pass by from the wall. He narrowed his eyes indignantly at the first years, feeling slight disgust toward them.
For a while, he's been leaning against this wall, people watching. A few people had come up to him occasionally, some he knew, some simply drawn in by his handsome entrance.
Despite his brooding mood, he'd spoken to all of them with a decent fervor, masking his exhaustion and simply looking out for someone he knew well to be able to bother to quench his boredom.
A soft sigh escaped his lips as a first year girl walked up to him and leaned against his shoulder. He smiled softly. For once, he wished he wasn't half incubus. Sure, it was useful - he could fly, and the tail was cool - and the horns had saved his life, but even so, why did people have to like him so much? He was an extrovert, but that didn't mean he couldn't get exhausted (oh, so exhausted) of people sometimes. At this point, Lar wouldn't have been able to count how many people had come up to him at this point, trying to flirt with him.
One meaningless conversation later. He's learned to block people out by now. Useful skill when he meets people who chatter endlessly. The girl left - which left him in a more relieved state than anything else, which typically wouldn't be the case, but it was fair enough, seeing as how he'd spent his entire day warding off the startling amount of screaming that he wanted to do.
If I ever meet a mind reader, they're going to be really concerned about me.
He turned his head toward a familiar face as he saw the flare of large wings, letting out a soft hiss at the sight of Lucius. The cambion flicked the tip of his tail irritably, unafraid to let his full, unbidden form show to the newcomers - and the old-comers, for that matter.
Larathiir pushed off the wall with his foot, spreading his wings slightly to knock away anyone walking in his direction, giving him a clear path straight to the fellow winged creature.
"Luci!" He purred, stalking up to the fourth year and studying him with his sharp gaze. Still a skinny, useless worm, I see. He thought bitterly. "How.. nice.. to see you after so long. Eh?" His eyes fell down to Lucius's neck, which he promptly scowled at, then turned his gaze back to the student's eyes. "Miss me?"
