The lioness turned towards Chaos and nudged his cheek. "it's nice ya know, seeing them like this" she gave a sigh as she watched the Cubs. She loved each and every one of the Cubs in the pride. She never used to show it before but considering she was wueen now she didn't really have much too hide.

Chaos watched her, and didn't realize that she loved cubs so much. "How come you've never had cubs?" he asked. If she loved cubs this much, why didn't she have some, he reasoned. "Maybe one day we could have some," he suggested. He didn't realize what her mane signified.

Astrid hissed, "Of course I'll suggest that I want him to come. Do you want Ajihad to be the dominant lion in our new pride?" She really hoped Nanook wouldn't tell anyone that they wanted to leave. She wasn't sure what Nanook would say. They weren't very close yet.

His next words hit her like an arrow in the heart. "I uh" she gulped. Play maybe she was wromgz maybe she did have to keep some things buried. "I uh maybe" her voice trembled lightly. God if this was any other lion she would have snapped and attacked them, but this was chaos, her king. Maybe he just didn't realise?

Ajihad noticed that there was food by the watering hole. No one was eating it. He assumed anyone could eat it. He sauntered over and began to chomp it down. He wondered when Amara and himself should leave the pride. Before the cubs were born after. So many decisions and he wasn't sure what the right answer was.

Amara gave a small sigh. "Ajihad we know for sure comes from a great dominant" she said. "I think he might be better. We dont know everything about Nanook just yet."

Chaos was surprised that she was stuttering. Why was she so emotional or was it nervousness? He began to think about it, and he thought he knew what was wrong. "I'm sorry," he shifted uncomfortably. "I didn't mean to be oblivious," he couldn't look her in the eye.

She turned her head to face him. It was clear she was triggered by the topic. "I'm basically infertile" she blurted out. She then let out a sigh realising she had said that aloud. God she hoped no one had heard. "ill be back soon" she said before walkomg off. May aswell blow of some steam whilst doing a quick border run.

Chaos looked around to see if there were any nosy eavesdroppers. "I'm sorry," he whispered after her. He didn't want to go after her, because she probably needed time to cool off. He hoped she would eventually forgive him.
