Zypher motioned to an elderly male warthog who looked like he wouldnt cause an issue. "If you agree, when we pin it down, one of your cub could make the kill" he said as he crouched down, ready to go after it. (Short)

Dae "If you agree, when we pin it down, one of your cubs could make the kill" Zypher said, Dae nodded and motioned for Nova, who wiggled her hind and quietly bounded over, excited for the hunt. Dae and Nova crouched down and stalked over towards it, Nova stayed back and waited for her mother and Zypher to make the first move. Growing closer day pounced on the elderly warthog, teeth sinking into his back, and holding on, waiting for Zypher to make his move. Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed the lone lioness and growled through the warthog's thick flesh, Nova creeping closer.

Zypher bolted and grabbed the warthogs hind end, causing it to squeal and collapse. He felt it struggling, but not enough to harm the cub when he made the kill. He nodded before he called out. "Hurry and make the kill. Bite the next as hard as you can. Dont worry if it takes a moment." He hoped Dae didnt mind him giving pointers to the cub for the kill.

Ajihad nodded after she explained it to him. Aslan would be worth keeping around for now, as everyone got accustomed to the new territory. He had gotten so used to their former pride, that he forgot he had twice the lions to do the patrol. He would have to try to remember that. Even if they did manage to set up the pride where there was an heir, all it took was someone stronger to mess everything up. Khaleesi raised a brow, "Why do you say that?" She didn't understand. She also didn't want Aslan kicked out. He looked so guilty, and she felt bad, because it could have been him leaving. Would she have left to follow him? She would now, but before she wouldn't have because she didn't know if she was wanted. Arridi frowned as Zamri told them they couldn't hunt something that big until they were close to full grown. They would have to start with something medium sized like an impala once they learned the technique. "Let's try hunting rabbits," Zamri suggested. "Go on and scent for some smaller prey," he instructed them.

Amara sighed. "So, what now" she asked as she as she wondered how they would handle the nomads if they were to see them. "Do we know the name of this nomad she was talking about" she asked as Aria shook her head. "Not that I heard" Aria replied. Amara simply nodded. "So we dont know what to expect if we run into other males." / Aslan sighed. "If I wasnt here, you and Shani wouldnt have argued. You wouldnt have clawed her. Amara is right. If this happens again, I cant blame her for exiling the males for causing issued like that. You cant be fighting when you should be working together." / Kuro sniffed the air as he looked around. "I think I smell a rabbit that way" he said motioning towards where a small wateringhole was. He wasnt sure if it was a rabbit or something else he smelled.

Khaleesi supposed in a twisted way it made sense. Lions were considered more of a burden than a help. They normally didn't hunt, and nobody wanted the lionesses distracted from their job. "It would be more correct if they punished the lionesses, but I suppose we're more valuable," she reasoned. Arridi's ears perked up, and he looked at their dad. Zamri smiled, "Would y'all like to try to corner it and attack or would you like to sneak up on it and get it?" he asked. He wasn't sure which would be better with these young ones. Ajihad wasn't sure what to do either. "I guess we treat all lions as hostiles. We don't need anymore lions, but a few lionesses wouldn't hurt." He shrugged. They were doing just fine which was easy to see from their prey pile. Now, was a good lull to really train their young ones.

Shani returned back to the coolness of the cave. She blinked her eyes rapidly, adjusting to the dim interior. The dominants appeared to still be deep in conversation. She padded quietly over to Astrid. ~ "The dominants seem to be discussing some pretty heavy stuff. I wonder if it has anything to do with the incident with Delilah and the lone male? Where there's one there's usually more in my experience. Being a lone female, it was just best for me to avoid them altogether. Are all of the cubs accounted for?" Shani settled down next to the lioness. ~ Shani yawned, her mouth opening to reveal long, ivory canines and a salmon colored tongue. She flexed her long claws and stretched out. Her muscles rippled under her sandy pelt like a bundle of strong cords. "Ooh, my head is still sore from that dreadful zebra kick. That fresh scratch on my face isn't helping me one bit neither. It feels like I rubbed my face in the side of a beehive," Shani chuckled wryly.

Aslan nodded. "I just hope that there are no more issues" he said. "I dont want to get exiled. Not now" he sighed as he lowered his ears. He looked over and saw the dominants talking and wondered what they were talking about. / Amara nodded. "We will make sure everyone is aware of this when they hunt or patrol" she said as Aria agreed. "Midnight might be keeping Fae close once again, but that wont be too bad" she added as she saw the father and cub. / Kuro giggled. "I want to kill it" he said excitedly. He wasnt sure what sneaking up on it, or cornering the rabbit would do, so he was just excited to make the kill, and hunt with his father.

Dae/Nova "Hurry and make the kill. Bite the next as hard as you can. Don't worry if it takes a moment." Zypher called towards Nova, the cub bounded nervously over and jumped with her claws unsheathed onto the warthog, sinking her teeth into its neck. The hog trashed for a moment and she bit harder, it went limp in Nova's jaws but hr cub still held on, allowing the adults to drop their grip as she held the prize on her mouth.

Jasiri / Jasiri was stunned. The new laws were harsh, but also annoyingly correct and just. "Thanks", he mumbled, in half-shock, and wandered away, shooting a brief glare at the dominants. He watched Amara talking with Khaleesi and Shani and guessed that they are the culprits in encouraging this law to exist. / Siku / "Say, Ajihad. Did you see any nomads?", Siku asked, "So that our patrolers will know with what they should deal with?" He was relieved when Aslan was allowed to stay after all. It seemed somehow unfair that he did not really start any fighting and yet he could've been exiled because of two lionesses.
