Shani startled at the lioness coming up to her. She hadn't met her yet. Shani tentatively nodded, "I'm fine it just...stings a little. It is a long story. Amara doesn't look very happy." Shani shuddered. Her hears hung low, waiting for Amara's fury. She had tried to do what she thought best, but it had gone so wrong. The rest of the pride was probably sick of her.

Amara held her head high as she planned on what to do and say when Khaleesi came back. She made a mental note to make sure both lionesses were talked to together. *Better to get them both dealt with at the same time* she thought as she saw Amber still hiding behind Chaos, Reyla and Midnight heading out with Luna and Fae trailing behind them.

Kreon Kreon laid a ways away from the watering hole, resting under a small lone tree, a few tall blades of grass poked up around him and his gaze rested ahead. A lone lioness, or at least she seemed alone, wandered up to the water's edge, and eased herself into the water, Kreon continued laying quietly a ways away, a lioness swimming? He shook out his mane, confusion spread across his face and he stood, stalking forward to the edge of the watering hole to better see the lioness. "Hello," he offered, "I've never met a lioness who enjoys swimming," Kreon commented,

Zamri followed Kreon, because he thought they might hunt together. He was hungry, so he was sure the cubs would be hungry. "Kreon we need to hunt. I have to get back to the cubs," he whispered. He didn't want the strange lioness to know about them. He was uncomfortable leaving them alone, but they had just started getting old enough where he thought he could trust them. Still, he wanted to make it a quick trip, and he wanted to bring food back to them.

Zypher sniffed the air as he looked around. He was starting to get hungry. It had only been a few days since he was exiled from his pride, and he hadnt found any prey to hunt. He growled slightly. *Stupid pride. They should be thanking me* he thought. He had bred with at least four of the females there, including the queen of the pride. He told the king to back off and that he wasnt going to help raise the cubs. It wasnt the first time Zypher did that either. He had found nomad lionesses and often bred with them just to make them think his pride didnt want them. After he had been exiled, three of the lionesses followed Zypher, but he snuck away the same night away from them. He had been the biggest flirt with the lionesses, but once he knew they were having his cubs, he left them. Now he was looking for a new area to start working on. *Maybe I can find a new pride that wont hate me* he thought.

Astrid's normally soft sweet voice became a little sharper. "Someone had better tell me what happened. I am patient, and I haven't been doing anything. I can take a long story. I think you should tell Amara while you are at it. I've never seen Khaleesi have a temper, much less explode." She fixed her gaze on Shani. As the newer lioness, she would be considered under Astrid in the pride hierarchy. "I think you would have the best idea, so you should explain things. I can tell we're not going to be getting a word out of Khaleesi for a while." She was a little annoyed that her sister had totally ignored her, so she decided to try to figure out what happened from Shani's side at least, while she was still here.

Nyasi / Nyasi furrowed his brow. Now as Tara mentions it, it will be lonely for him. As a nomad he was always with his mother, and never aone. "Pf, what makes you think I'll be alone?", he asked and puffed out his chest, "I will be a mighty lion, and have my own pride! I will be the most fearsome and wise leader in all of this land!" Nyasi noticed Tara's mood drop, and he hastily added, "But I like it here, and I think it will be a long time before I leave". Nyasi's ears flicked towards Reyla as he overheard her idea of bringing the juveniles to hunt and he looked at the dominants hopefully. How he wants to practise on hunting! But then he sighed as Khaleesi said 'lionesses'. "You'll be going?", he asked Tara, nodding towards Khaleesi. / Ivy / "Oh, that is impressive!", Ivy complimented, also smiling as she was relieved that Chaos did not comment on the change of subjects, "Talking about impalas, I don't think I have eaten them for ages!" / Jasiri / "Hey, we are supposed to growl. You are a trespasser in these lands", Jasiri pointed out to the lioness, his formal dislike towards trespassers rising. But his face softened as he saw one of the cubs peeking out from beneath the unknown lioness. / Ukuta / Ukuta watched as Khaleesi stormed off, and with a sigh followed the brown lioness. She caught up to her, which made her bones creak a few times, and called out, "Slow down will you? I am not as fast as I used to be". She hoped Khaleesi did not mind her to be here, because as she imagined herself in this situation, she would not want anybody close. Edited at May 28, 2020 02:30 AM by Heather pack

"Perhaps you are right. When I first saw the pride, I was struck by how much Aslan closely resembled my former mate. I believe him to be dead. I wanted to get to know Aslan better, I had a major crush on him I guess. Well, unbeknownst to me, Khaleesi has liked Aslan a lot longer than I have. So when I found that out, I decided to tell Khaleesi that I was backing away and that I would no longer stand between her and Aslan. She seemed okay until I went to tell Aslan of my like for him and Khaleesi's like for him, letting him know that I was stepping away. I had no regrets and was willing to forget about the situation when Khaleesi attacked me. Is it really this hard to live in a pride? Am I to expect to go through this all the time? If so, then I want no part of it," Shani said sadly. She slowly traced a circle in the dust with her paw.
