Finally free from the confines of her family's manor Mauve rode her large Friesian horse Jay out in the countryside bordering the city. She wore thick black leggings, riding boots and a deep green top embroidered with black vines around the wrists On the sleeves. Her long wavy pale blonde hair was in a braid down her back. Loose pieces blowing in the winds as she rode. She regularly visited her personal home in the county to get away from the stuffy vampires always viying for her attention or that of her fathers through her. Half of them children compared to her in age they did little to entertain her. The day before had her very busy with work for her father and she was ready to be away again. Mauve was glad to be out before the sun in the crisp morning air but she knew it was going to be up any moment. As if listening to her innermost thoughts the days first rays exploded over the horizon lighting up the morning fog in a beautiful display. Halting the ride to take in the view Mauve's brown eyes scanning the country around her. The vampires keen eyes could see some farm houses in the distance. Her ears picked up a small herd of deer waking up in one of the fields nearby. One may have made a nice snack but she had eaten before she left the manor. Mauve Sinclair After about an hour Mauve turned Jet around heading back to her cabin. Soon they came upon a worn cobble path leading into the forest. Jet followed the path with familiarity heading straight to the small barn and paddock. Looking around to make sure no one was around she gently flew off the black Frisian stallion. She brushed Jet and put his tack away. Once he was fed and watered, Mauve walked over to her sleek black oak cabin. Walking inside she made her way over to the three massive floor to ceiling windows throwing open the curtains. Sunlight filtering down through the trees lighting up the room with a warm glow. The living room had an unlit fireplace on one side and the couches were actually in a lowered floor area you walk down into a comfy conversation pit styled living room. Slightly thirsty after her ride she made her way towards the kitchen. Adorned in a modern but dark aesthetic. Black oak cabinets and dark metals. She opened the small fridge and gave a sigh of disappointment. She leaned back against the counter shutting the empty fridge. "Dammit I forgot" In the hurry to escape the confines of the manor she had forgot to grab her weeks shipment of blood. She regretted not taking one of those deer now. Her brown eyes slightly red in color now glanced down as an old white cat missing one of it front legs rubbed against her pants. Snapping out of her hungry spell she greeted the cat. "Good morning Tippy" The female cat had shown up randomly one night about three years ago and had been here every since. Leaning down she scratched the grumpy old lady of a cat and filled her bowl. Deciding to go take a shower after her ride she made a plan. She was gonna drive into town and go get a coffee from her favorite cafè and then get a bite to eat from someone on the way home. |
