Inka padded along beside him, glancing at the smallest noises to check for a similar being to the child. She shook her head with a small snort when nothing was there though.

"They have to be close by. If we don't find them, then his pack must have deserted him for some reason." He sniffed around but couldn't find any scent similar to the child's.

Inka nodded, looking up at the child. It didn't look like there was anything wrong with it so she wasn't sure why it would have been abandoned. "What should we do with him until we find them though..?"

"Keep him." Rhyder said expecting her to think he was joking even though he wasn't.

She looked at him for a moment, then let out a light giggle. "What..? You expect me to want pups and look after a... whatever its called?" She asked, obviously joking.

"Yes." He said matter of factly. He smiled and continued to sniff and look around.

Inka gave him a 'really?' Kind of look but chuckled and padded around, peering through trees and bushed to the boys 'pack' but to no avail.

After a while Rhyder gave up and laid down. He turned his head and saw that the child had fallen asleep on his back. He smiled and looked at Inka with a pleading look.
