Once they made it to the house, Nyko padded inside and ran up the stairs. He shifted into his human form and entered his bedroom. After gently closing the door behind him, he pressed his back to the wall and sighed as he slowly slid to the floor. He looked down at his side and smiled slightly. . Kai shifted as soon as the house came into sight. When he walked in, he headed straight for the living room and sat on the couch. He thought it better to get the punishment over with now rather then later.

Flame trotted up to the house before shifting into her human form. She walked in, watching as her alpha ran upstairs. She hoped he would get some sleep, they had school tomorrow. And speaking of which, she better get this over with now. She went into the living room, finding Kai already inside. Sitting down in a chair, she waited patiently. ~ Shadow rested for a couple minutes before getting up. Shifting took a bit longer than normal but once shifted, he walked slowly inside. He found Kai and Flame in the living room waiting. He frowned, he should give them a lecture about going into town after them but both kids had school tomorrow and it was late. "Both of you upstairs. No staying out after school tomorrow, I will talk to you both here at 4 sharp." Shadow said, giving them a slight leeway in case they ran into someone unexpectedly.
School was school, he had to remember that. He crossed his arms, waiting for the two teens to disperse to their rooms. Flame got up, pausing only for a second before heading upstairs to her room. Once Kai was gone, Shadow turned out the lights in the kitchen and hallway. He turned out all of the ones in the living room, all except one. Shadow settled down in a chair near a desk that was hidden at first glance. Tucked in a corner of the room, it could not be seen from the doorway. Only if you knew it was there or purposefully looked for it, could you find it.
Shadow pulled out his necklace, a small key on the end before unlocking one of the drawers. Inside, it held a variety of notebooks. He pulled out the black spiral artbook at the bottom of the stack. Placing it on the desk, he closed the drawer halfway before opening the book to the first page. A simple design was on it. A female wolf, slate grey with white and black markings throughout her coat, lay on her belly, looking down at her side. There, nestled, was a small newborn pup, a beautiful black furred wolf pup. Grey, white and brown markings littered its fur but its little eyes were halfway open. Sapphire, just like his fathers.
Shadow tensed before moving his eyes slowly to the wolf standing behind the mother. Pure black fur with a few brown markings littering his fur. Sapphire eyes that radiated dominance as did his pose. And yet, a loving nature could be felt. Alpha. Alpha Raylon. Shadow moved his hand to his head, his hand forming into two fingers as he raised it to his brow. His fingers trailed down to his chin before he made a fist over his heart. Honor. Respect. Always. Shadow exhaled sharply, closing the book before putting it back into the drawer. He wasn't ready for this. Wasn't ready to dive back into those memories. He locked the drawer before pausing, his fingers tracing the wood.
Finally, he turned off the light and moved towards the door. Silently, he slipped out, closing the door gently behind him. He shifted, looking back only once to make sure no lights came on. Then he disappeared into the forest.

Kai looked at Flame as she walked into the room. He then kept an eye on the door waiting for shadow to enter. When shadow entered the room, Ksi inhaled and tended his body prepared for the worst. The worst would be a beating like his parents used to give him. They didnt do it often or to be extra cruel but to show him how cruel life could be and to prepare him for life. They had expected him to grow up and become beta male or atleast third in command. His parents didnt come from much and were only omegas and they wanted him to have a better life. The few beatings stopped when his parents realized that the beating were breaking him and causing him to have issues. . Kai was surprised when Shadow told them to go to bed and wasted no time going 5o his room. He would prepare himself as best as he could tomorrow after school. Kai was always prepared for the worst. Nothing was ever going to catch this werewolf off guard. He quickly changed into his usual bedtime clothes and laid down on his bed with the light off staring at the ceiling. . Nyko was in his room pacing back and fourth. He wished he could thank Akira for the help but knew he couldn't without risking her finding out about the pack. She would know that everything was a lie and call them monsters have the whole town turn on them in a matter of seconds. He sighed and hopped in the shower. After his shower he brushed his teeth and got ready for bed. Instead of going to sleep though, he sat at the desk in his room staring at the picture.

Flame got to her room and closed the door before resting her forehead on the closed door for a moment. After school then. Something bugged her though. Shadow had looked. .exhausted. She shook her head, clearing her thoughts before quickly changing her clothes and climbing into bed. She lay there for a couple moments, staring at the ceiling before falling asleep.
~
Shadow ran, his paws a blur underneath of him. He came to the edge of the town but followed the edge until he reached the other side. As he ran, he let out the one memory that he couldn't hold back any longer. Why did Nyko have to show him the picture? Remind him of the pack, his pack. The one he grew up in, worked with, his pack.
Blood, fangs, claws. All he could see was red. He reared, coming down hard and crushing the wolf underneath of him. Never enough, they kept on coming. The moonlit pelt beside him was stained in blood. The fur of his packmates flashed around him as he leaped over another wolf. Where--there. He spotted Alpha in the mix, fighting two wolves at once. Shadow spotted his sister fighting a rogue nearby. He leapt forward, tearing through another wolf as she fell. Her blood stained his paws as he made it over to her.
There were too many rogues. Shadow pounced on another wolf, rage through his mind when a howl went out. Shadow leapt to his paws, panic shooting through him as he saw his alpha under a pile of rogue wolves. Nope, not going to happen. He lept forward, tearing a wolf off.
Alpha leaped up, pushing them off. They were slowly being pushed back. Shadow panted before a howl pierced the air. A slate grey wolf leaped out in front of the small pack. Reyla. She let out a howl, her pack joining Raylon's. The rogues backed up, sensing they were now outnumbered. We pushed forward before finally driving them off our land. Shadow circled the two alphas with the other warriors, yipping. The two alphs smiled knowingly to each other before starting the dance.
Shadow came to a halt at a large river. Oh to see those smiles again. He sat down, knowing he was pretty far from both the town and the pack. Lifting his head, he let out a howl. Again and again until his throat was raw. Laying down, he closed his eyes falling into a dreamless sleep.

Akira-female-human-M: Flame, Shadow, Kai, and Nyko Akira returned Flames smile with one of her own before nodding and giving a wave of her hand as they all left. Once they were gone she went about cleaning up the mess she had made in the garage while tending to the wolf dog's wounds. Once she had her scissors and garbage picked up and thrown away and the cardboard makeshift sled against the wall she looked around once more. Satisfied with her work she turned off the garage light and headed back inside. Once inside she gave a small sigh especially as thoughts started flooding her mind. 'There are things that don't add up.' She thought, 'for instance, Gunnar didn't have any old battle scars that one would get in a dog fight. Even for his size and breed, he would have gotten a couple at least, and his most recent wound, that was caused by a fire I'm sure of it. It was a burn, the fur around it was still singed a bit.' She turned out the kitchen light heading down the hallway while she tried to put the pieces together. Entering the bathroom she quickly showered and opened the medicine cabinet to get her toothbrush. Spotting her bottle of pills she picked them up and just stared at them a moment. Ever since her parents died she had stopped taking them, she never understood why she had to take them in the first place. Her parents said they were vitamins but one day she looked them up and that's not what they were for at all. To be honest she didn't understand half of what the mumbo jumbo meant that she had read about them. Sighing once more she placed them back on their shelf and grabbed her toothpaste. Once she had finished her nightly routine she made her way past her aunts' bedroom door quietly and into her bedroom. Closing the door she turned the lamp sitting on her desk on and took out the drawing she made in school. Staring at it her eyes widened, the wolf she had drawn in her picture looked exactly like Gunnar without the burn. Suddenly old memories started flooding through her mind, 'Fighting, fur flying, a flash of teeth and claws stained with blood. Blurs of bodies zooming by and clashing with others. Everything looked like giants almost as if it was a memory from a very young age. Howling, snarling, yips, and yelps filling her ears the metallic scent of blood filling her nose.' Almost as soon as the memory flooded her mind it ended as well, she realized she was gripping the side of her desk with such force that her knuckles were white. Her breathing was quick and irregular and she looked around making sure she was still in her room. "It all seemed so real..." She thought out loud to herself, taking a deep breath she took one last look at the drawing before turning out the light and climbing into bed, covering herself she thought she heard the faint far-away sound of a howl but brushed it off closing her eyes. "There's more to Flame and Gunnar than what's on the surface...I know there is... now just to find out how to get some answers without freaking anyone out..." She spoke to herself as she fell asleep.

Nyko continued to stare at the picture. If you were to look at him though, it would seem more as if he was staring past the drawing. He wasnt really doing either as his vision started to blur. Pictures flooded his mind and he wasnt sure what was going on as they were all blurry. . The visions soon cleared and he started to panic. He had been taken back to the night that the rogues attacked. He was so young he shouldn't be able to remember. Just a small pup forced to stay inside with the other pups because he was too young. . Everyone was worried he would get hurt but he believed he could do it. Instead he start to d to walk around and try to keep the other pups calm. The scene flashed and he was staring out the window at the fight outside.

Shadow & Amber | M: Each other Shadow awoke as pawsteps sounded coming towards him. At first, he thought one of his packmates had followed him before seeing spotting a familiar amber pelt. He got onto his feet as a voice said, "Took you long enough." A large amber wolf came out of the trees, her copper eyes scanning his pelt before meeting his eyes. Shadow smiled, "Hello Amber Lily. It's been a while."
"Mhm, and who's fault was that?" Amber said, flicking an ear playfully at him. Shadow chuckled before saying, "I admit I was trying to forget the incident. Is the mountains treating you well?" Amber chuckled, "As well as they can. I found the pack cabin up there before moving down into town. Humans are quite interesting to watch. She shifted, revealing an older woman, around her 50's like Shadow. Amber hair fell down to her shoulder and her eyes sparkled before turning serious. "Fill me in while we run. I'm sure the pack will be worried if you aren't back by dawn or whatever time they leave for school." She said, shifting back into a wolf. Shadow smiled, "I missed that about you. Straight to the point." He trotted beside her and they made their way back towards camp. With the rate they were going, they would get back just as the kids would wake up.

Akira-Human-Female Akira would've thought her dreams would have been different, but they weren't instead she was dreaming of the memory she had before falling asleep. The fighting, the death, the fur flying. The strong smell of metal from all the bloodshed. The terrifying feeling of witnessing it all. Seeing grass thrown from the ground from the force of the wolves' paws as they fought. A cold wind caused her to shiver and what must have been leaves brushing against her. Everything was so different in the dream. The wolves looked huge, like she was looking at everything out of a child's eyes. She remembers trying to run from her hiding spot, heading for a cabin. She was almost there when she felt herself get picked up...by the neck..? A terrified yelp escaped her lips. As whatever was carrying her ran she saw that she was...a wolf pup? At that she sat bolt up straight, gasping for air. She pressed her hands to her face and head feeling for fur and animal ears. She turned on her nightside table lamp and got out of bed walking over to her dresser that had a mirror on it. She looked into the mirror almost expecting to see a wolf looking back at her. She heaved a sigh seeing she was normal. 'Does all this mean something? It's just a dream....right...? If it is just a dream.... why does it feel so familiar..?' She thought to herself, looking to the alarm clock she groaned. She still had two hours before she had to be up for school.

Nyko watch ed d the fight in his dreams. He watched as some were killed and others injured bad. The dream then faded and he was back in his room. He had fallen asleep at his desk without realizing. He got up and decided to take a warm shower. He stood under the water letting it run over his body and soak into his fur. . After a good hour, he stepped out and dried off before getting ready for school. He looked at the clock and it was perfect timing. His alarm started to ring and he quickly shut it off. He put on his socks and shoes quickly tying the laces and headed downstairs. . Kai's alarm went off and he quickly got up. He got ready for school grabbed his poster board and bag before going downstairs. He placed his stuff by the door then headed into the kitchen for breakfast. He decided he would make French toast for everyone

Flame | M: Kai, Nyko Flame woke up in the morning, her alarm clock going off. She was not a morning person. Nope. Getting up, she made her way over to her shower. She placed it on cold and let it wake her up. After her shower, she quickly got dressed, grabbing her sneakers as she walked towards the stairs. Slipping them on, she walked downstairs before coming to find Kai making french toast. She smiled, going to get her stuff ready for school. She was surprised that Shadow wasn't up ready to give them a lecture. Now was the time to do it after all. He was normally a morning person, maybe he slept in for once.
