I don't want to beg or sound like I'm whining but... I had to go on hiatus for a long ass time. Like.. months. And I didn't log on at all - not even to check in. And now my favorite wolves are dead, and all my friends are MIA or radio silent. And I see people online here that I recognize and like but they probably don't know who I am. I dunno I think I just thought that I left a larger mark on here then I did, that I had friends and would be missed while I was gone. But it hurts to find out that I'm wrong lmao. That I have to start back at square one when I am really bad at making friends. Hahah sorry to write such a sob story but it was really bothering me. I know I won't get my old wolves back but I'm sad that I missed some of there memorials so they're just gone now. I know they're just pixels but outside of my "member since ___" date they were my only proof that I was.... here? I guess? that I was like an avid part of wolfplay? And this acount isnt even as old as my other one that was erased, which makes me even sadder in a way? TL, DR - took a hiatus, now I have no friends |

Okay but actually I'm not done yet because I like shouting into this void of my own corner or the forum. I think I'm really just sad because I feel really lonely. Because I try to stay active in the chat and forums and stuff but I feel hollow the entire time. I feel like I don't have anyone who gets excited when they see my username pop up like I do when I see others. I feel like a ghost among men. And like I don't wanna make people feel bad, it's just that I only have like one irl friend so wolfplay is really all I have, ya know? Okay I'm done now for real. Also RIP Felix you were my favorite wolf and I didn't get to memorialize you like I planned to love you king. |

I took a three/four year hiatus as well, and only recently came back. I've found myself trying to find my old art just as proof to myself that I was once active, y'know? I get a little thrill when I see pack names that I recognize, like walking through a neighborhood I used to live in and being like 'hey, I know that building! I remember that bit of graffiti!
I was here around the same time as you, do you think maybe we knew each-other? |
