Hello everyone! Welcome to August's low-pelt Roster!

I've created the spreadsheet below called the "Low Pelt Roster" for pelts with under 1,000 wolves sporting them, and to help encourage pelt diversity and to help avoid pelt inflation in the trading post. I've purposely excluded any Exclusive and Crystalline pelts from this roster since their breeding chances are so low.

Any pelt marked with a * means its in critical condition or under 400 wolves!

Actually I used it! Before giving Buffy an exclusive pelt, I gave him moonlight, which at the time was near the bottom of this list. :0

Unfortunately he didn't get bred much before then, and when he was the moonlight didn't pass down.

I do like to keep it in mind for customs or breeding goals though. 🩷

And I have my silly side account dedicated to just peach wolves

So I may try one of the critical common pelts instead

I use it to look for studs to breed with some of my females and increase diversity

I think this is very interesting! It's a really neat idea to try to even out the breeding pool. Also helps me figure out if there's a demand for a certain pelt. For instance, I have an amber boy and I see he's critical!
