In-Progress Changes
A Coefficient of Inbreeding feature has been started, and Eve is working on perfecting it for us. You can visit any wolf page (you own) and select the bloodlines to get a peek at this new feature.
Major Changes
Mobile-Friendly Layout. You likely weren't here for the remainder, but you might've been here during some of the changes to the website layout. They completely finished in March as far as I know. Palettes are normal.
Image Hosting. PostImg is no longer allowed, as they began hosting inappropriate advertisements to the image pages. New alternatives as far as I know are Imgur and ImgBB.
New mods. Former game mods are Venn, Obscurity and Silly. New game mods are Eternity, Kalahari and Apothecary. New forum mod is Zephyr. Congrats to our new mods!
Toasts. You saw it already, but you now get a toast whenever you receive any type of mail! To shut this off or adjust the settings of your toasts, you can visit your Account page.
Explore Lag occurred and addressed. I'm not sure what to say here, but the lag was addressed. If you'd like to check the specifics, March 10, 2025 news post.
Barter Premium Prices. The prices to get premium are slightly lower dependent on which premium you sign up for.
Infobox Tips. These are designed to help new players with learning the game better.
Minor Changes
Elephant Dung introduced and repurposed. Elephant dung was introduced along with the relics Elephant Tusk and Ivory Carving since everyone battles with the magnificent elephants. The dung previously made sure that you get 100% of the mush from your market den sales, but for one item only (the idea being by Mother). After this was introduced, Eve quickly removed the tax and the dung is now being repurposed. My idea in the repurposing contest won, so it will soon become an object that your wolves roll around in and help with Wolf Scent Tracking. (The tusks are to help with chances of HW litters, idea by Kháos. The carvings help please the ancestors for FMC for 30 moves, idea by Sneaky Smeagol.)
Card Views. For your den, you can now toggle between List view (classic) or two Card views, Explore or Stats (newer). This is meant to make it easier to view various wolf stats from the den page. (Explore showing you the wolf name and health/thirst/hunger bars, Stats showing you the BE, Dom, Ranks, Rarity and Talent scores.) - Speaking of view, you can now swap just the folder image when editing your wolf folders if you like.
Explore Moves Expansion bug fully fixed. I have to mention this one (also because it's one of the bugs that stuck for a while). But when Eve upped the total amount of moves last year in August, she made an error and had to run a script to fix everyone's moves. It didn't fix for everyone (myself included), but it's fixed now!
Barter History Report. This was inspired by the explore moves expansion bug, as I couldn't recall how many expansions I had purchased. I'm very happy to see it in the game now. It only includes what you purchased from the Apples tab. It's really helpful!
New packs now receive 200 mush and 1000 CP to get them started off. They, along with returning hiatused old players, will also get a bonus round of the Hot Springs upon sign in. The latter will also get a mushroom gift if they're low on mushrooms.
Chat Trophy. There is now a weekly and all-time leaderboard for the yappers. I presume this is due to the constant "dead chat" in recent days prior to the release. It's pretty cool! You get a trophy for every 1000 posts, and a trophy for every 50k posts.
New pelts! Black Hole (FMC Shop), Cosmos (FMC Shop), Natural 4 (common), Black Magic (exclusive to June), Kibble (exclusive to July), and Bloodthirst (exclusive to August) have been added to the game.
The FMC. Two new eye dyes, Solar Flare and Nebula, have been added to the FMC Shop. When selecting a wolf for the Hunting and Wrestling competitions, you can now use a searchbar instead of scroll.
New games Slither and Paddle Battle (formerly known as Pong), along with an upgraded Mushroom Hunt, complete with sounds, images, higher mush prizes and the chance to win event currency!
Display Toggle for unburied relics. This still needs tweaked, but there's now a toggle for those who have many unburied relics. (Now we just need toggles for buried food and relics!)
Forums. You can now click a post number to copy a unique link for easier sharing (or bookmarking). Forum topic titles are now included in the url.
Deceased wolves. Deceased wolves keep their paws now. You also have a week to put them in your memorial garden now instead of a day.
Offspring. The listing is prettier, shows the youngest to oldest, and has a "Next" button for wolves who have many offspring.
Default CP Settings. This is the most helpful update ever, totally not biased, but yeah. No more going to individual wolf pages.
Pack statuses. There are Coding, Beefing with the Beetle, Avoiding Chat, Open for Venting, and Tired statuses now!
Blocked packs can no longer send you event currency. Nor can they send you cards for special events.
Pups and PH don't mix. Pups no longer count towards pack happiness. Very helpful, very nice.
New markings. Reverse rainkissed and Rainkissed. There's also a new color, Ombre.
Adornments. Now you can see what a wolf has equipped by visiting their page!
Premium backgrounds are free for premium now.
WolfParty uses unburied Party On! tokens first.
Trading post shows leaderboard stats now.
Palettes have a Copy button now.
Slightly Older Changes
January With the addition of the Weekly WolfPlay Raffle (game-hosted), comes the newest relic: Bear Paw, a relic that will only be available through winning the raffle due to its capabilities to allow the user one free custom wolf from the custom maker. There is also a new WolfParty-exclusive pelt called Festivus.
October There is now a new Battle boost called Hellhound. This applies a visual of flaming legs onto your wolf and caps out the battle attribute at 275 rather than 200. They also have a chance of hitting twice in battle like the Elite Speed boost.
