Cast of characters-

Strongfire- Last leader of the dragonlings, dead. Mother of Fireweaver, Oceantide, Spiritchaser and Earthshaker. (a dark violet dragonling with dark green wings and orange limbs with a lavender tail)

Bigclaw- the brother of Strongfire who mysteriously disappeared a century ago from the world of dragons and birds of fire. (light blue dragonling with dark blue wings and violet limbs.)

Razortooth- Loyal servant of both Strongfire and Sharpclaw. Was sent to the Tribe of Elders to be banished under Sharpclaw’s guidance. (green slender dragonling with red limbs and black wings)

Sharpclaw- current leader of the dragonlings and the receiver of the last known message the birds of fire has ever sent before they disappeared (dark orange dragon with a yellow tail)

Fireweaver- a dragonling that resembles the Fire Tribe of the former dragons (dark red long snake-like dragon with light green wings)

Spiritchaser- Half Xavarian half dragonling. Resembles the Legendary Tribe of Ancestors of the former dragons. (A tall girl with pale skin and black wings, pink tail and curved yellow claws. In her full dragon form, she is a long four winged snake with eight legs and a long tail. Wings are pink, bordered purple. She has a dark red body, ending in an icy blue tail. Legs are striped like a bee with yellow and orange)

Earthshaker- a dragonling that resembles the Earth Tribe of the former dragons (dark brown dragon with no wings and green spikes along his spine. Biggest dragonling and heaviest)

Oceantide- a dragonling that heavily resembles the Water Tribe of the former dragons. (dark blue dragonling with a fin on top of his head, midnight purple wings and purple limbs. Has two black fins and a dark purple tail fin)

Council- the name for the birds of fire

Xavarians- mysterious aliens that came to Earth looking for safety a decade ago.

Slithertail- leader of the Tribe of Elders (dark green dragonling with brown snake patterns)

Cavare- tall man with a poisonous uncontrollable touch. Heir of Xavarians.

Camarie- sister of Cavare, previously known as Pecke, second in line of the Xavarian throne

Teria- Leader of the Xavarians

Prohe- Leader of the Scorpion Tribe of the Desert

Camus- Second in command of the Scorpion Tribe of the Desert

Cow- Leader of the Buffalo Tribe of the Plains

Tokyo- member of the Dragonfly Tribe of the Rainforest

Adwine- member of the Xavarians

Cassie- member of the Xavarians.

Vamhiro- former Ex, now Xavarian

Brent- Servant of Bigclaw

Starlight- The black bird of fire and the leader of the Council.

Flare- a orange and yellow bird of fire

Shadow- Son of Starlight black bird of fire

Dante- son of Overseer

Evilface- Newest leader of Dragonling Kingdom. Killed Sharpclaw and Smalltooth

Smalltooth- previous second in command of the Dragonling Kingdom, killed by Evilface

Grass- head guard of the Buffalo Tribe of the Plains

Fireweaver- Razortooth, tell us more about our mother please!

Oceantide- Yeah Razortooth!

Earthshaker- Please?

Razortooth- Fine. Your mother was queen of the dragonlings. Can I go now?

Fireweaver- (moved her long snake-like body to block the entrance. At only a year old, the three of them were bigger than any dragonling) Mind to be a bit more detailed?

Razortooth- She always said that her dragonlings would always look like the dragons of the four tribes.

Earthshaker- Are we named after them?

Razortooth- I don’t know. Strongfire chose your names.

Slithertail- Razortooth! Could you go hunting?

Razortooth- (shouts) Sure! (looks to Fireweaver) Can I go?

Fireweaver- (sighs and removes her body from the doorway.)

Razortooth- Thanks and be safe! (He heads outside)

Fireweaver- You won’t believe what I found. (Her fiery eyes twinkled with mischief)

Oceantide- What?

Fireweaver- Look! (points with her tail to a strange symbol on the wall)

Earthshaker- What’s that? (creeps closer and accidentally poked it with a head spike)

Fireweaver- Be careful! What’s happening? (a light suddenly shone around them, enveloping them and they couldn’t see anything. When they could see again, they were no longer in the cave but on a bright flat expanse of dry orange yellow small stuff against the hot sun)

Oceantide- Where are we? And where's the water? (he always liked water)

Earthshaker- I have no idea. But this is the desert.

Fireweaver- (raises an eyebrow but doesn't say anything. Earthshaker always had a special connection with the ground)
