Yes, it is, many animals hide, hibernate, or migrate during the winter, so food is much harder to find than usual. Snow can make this even harder. If you have mushrooms, you can get food from Slim’s Food Shop, or use the Hot Springs once a day. You can also look for offers on food in the Sales chat.
