Is there a certain point in Forest when you start getting more predators?

I've never had 100+ predators there and I'm lucky if I get anything above 60 even though my Forest level is 270. Just curious if it's only a Forest thing or if I'm just really unfortunate. Normally everyone raves about how much they make from exploring in the Forest during Spring but I've been struggling to make my nutsback from moves let alone make profit.

Well, if you're patient, restarting levels until you're satisfied with the number of predators is always an option. But usually, I don't have much of a difficult time getting a profit, even if I have 72 predators or something.

I do that, but it takes ages before I get anything more than 50 predators and then when I finish that level I'll have one or two after that that are 60-70 predators and then I start getting like 25-45 predators again.

Bad luck I guess, then XD
