The 'designs' are often crstuff cheeksed into OC's (Original characters) that can sometimes have intricate backgrounds and personalities, and can be used as characters in Art and Roleplays. You buy/pay for the character/design, and it is yours to do whatever you want with (as long as you follow the Artist's rules).
