Hello everyone and welcome to Wolf Play's very first Command Game! This is a interactive survival game, where you play a cat character and try to survive in the wild! I know that it is a lot, but please try to read through everything. I'm not very good at summarizing so if you have questions or need me to clarify something, please PM me.
Disclaimer: I did not invent command games, however the original creators have allowed people to use and change the idea however they wish, as long as they do not take credit for the original design.
I am pretty sure that this is allowed, but if it isn't, I am completely fine with it being taken down. Thank you!
- I'm not very good at this so please try to be patient with me. I won't always update completely on schedule, because I may be busy or may not be at home.
- Cat appearances have to be realistic, no wings or rainbow fur or anything like that
- Read all the instructions before signing up - Only 1 cat for now, but you may have a cat on the waiting list - Have fun
Note : Your cat will die eventually. I do not know how hard this will be, but your cat will eventually die. Do not get mad at me or others if this happens, it is nothing personal, I swear.
How It Works
Commands, or moves, are what the game is named after. They are how you do tasks throughout the game, including traveling, hunting, managing territory, or interacting with others. How many moves you can do per moon depends on your cat's energy. Some tasks do not require any energy.
One moon equals 1 round. It will last (hopefully) 3 real life days, but may fluctuate depending on my schedule. When it ends is when I will reply to everyone's commands on 1 post. I will then calculate everything that has happened and post a new moon, which will include all the events that happened last moon. This takes a while, so please be patient with me :) Your cat will age 1 moon every time this happens.
Please post all your commands on 1 post per moon. You can always edit it if you need to :) I may PM you if something doesn't work. Please be open to changing if needed.
Hunting is the way you gain food for your cat. If your cat does not eat, then your cat will go hungry and your total energy will be decreased. If your cat does not eat for 3 moons, then it will die.

Hunting Skill level Your hunting level will increase or decrease your chances of catching prey depending on what level it is at
If you succeed in catching a piece of prey, then your chances will be cut in half and you have that chance of catching another. This will continue untill you miss. Unless you are in a colony, then a cat will automatically eat what they hunt. Extras will be discarded.
Dominance And Territory
Every cat has a colored +, this represents where a cat is on a map. Each square has a number, this represents the territory level. The higher the number, the more prey lives in that territory, making it easier to hunt. However, high level territories are in high demand, and may be difficult to defend.
Cats are able to claim squares as their own territory, this will help defend them from predators and other cats. When a cat has claimed it's territory, then other cats cannot hunt in it without risking being injured by the owner and chased out. Territories are marked by a colored number.
Dominance is a important factor when it comes to battles and territory. Dominance equals the battle and territory strength that a cat has. Cats with higher dominance are more likely to win battles and keep predators out. The best way to increase dominance is to patrol your territory regularly.
Cats without territory have a max dominance of 100 Cats with territory have a max dominance of 150
If you enter in another cats territory that you do not know, your dominance will determine whether you can stay there undetected or if you will be chased out.
15 or less than owner's dominance = Automatically chased out 15 or more than owner's dominance = Remain undetected In between = Your success in staying undetected or being chased out depends on your hunting level. If you have the same hunting level, then it will be determined by exact dominance.
If you remain in another cats territory undetected by the time the moon ends, that that means that you are challenging the owner for the territory. However, this only works if both cats are in the same square. If you do not wish to challenge the owner, make sure you use some of your energy to leave before the moon ends.
The winner of a challenge will be determined by dominance. The cat with the higher dominance will win and gets to keep the territory and the loser is chased out and is always injured. The original owner gets a +20 dominance bonus. This is the same for predator battles.
When you are chased out in any situation, your cat flees to a random surrounding square and you loose all your remaining energy for the rest of the moon and loose a bit of dominance. You also have a chance of being injured.
Gaining/Loosing Dominance Claim a square = +20 dominance Successful hunt = +1 dominance Win a battle = +15 Dominance Patrol territory = +5 dominance Gain a hunting level = +3 dominance Get kits or a mate = +5 dominance
Loose battle = -50 dominance Chased out another's territory = -15 dominance Loose a kit or mate = -20 dominance Intruder in your territory = -10 dominance
Energy represents the health of your cat as well as how many moves you can make per moon. If your cat reaches 0 energy in any way then they will die. It will temporarily decrease if a cat is injured, sick, hungry, pregnant, or nursing kits.
The more injured or sick a cat is, the less likely it is to heal or recover from it.
Base energy Kits : 1 energy, 0-6 moons old Adolescents : 2 energy, 7-12 moons old Adults : 4 energy, 12-80 moons old Elders : 3 energy, 80+ moons old Nursing/Pregnant Queens : 2 energy
Injuries and Sicknesses Small Injury : -1 energy, 75% heal, 25% worsen Medium Injury : -2 energy, 50% heal, 50% worsen Large Injury : -3 energy, 25% heal, 75% death
A cat can get sick from traveling too mush, having no territory during winter, or catching it from other animals. Young and old cats are likely to become sick.
Queens will be pregnant for 2 moons and give birth on the 3rd. Pregnant females have a small chance of being injured during labor if in low-level territory or a dangerous season. If you've read everything put 'kittens' in other. Females will nurse until their kits are 3, then they receive all their energy back. This is also when kits start to require prey in order to survive.
Certain territories may have unexpected danger or may contain predators, always be careful when heading into the unknown.
training is the only way to increase your hunting skill. You can either train by yourself or you can be taught by a parent or a more experienced cat.
Training by yourself will cost 1 energy and will increase your hunting skill by 1/4 of a level.
Training with a more experienced cat will increase your skill level by 1/2 of a level, however it takes 1 energy from both cats.
Kits 0-6 moons old have the opportunity to play. This can be by themselves or with their siblings. As it is is the only thing they can do, it is recommended for kits to play every moon. It will increase their hunting skill by 1/4 a level.
Mates, Friends, and Raising Kits
If 2 cats choose, they may become mates and form their own small colony. When 2 cats become mates they are able to have kits together, and will share territory and prey. This also means they gain an advantage during battles. When a cat from a colony hunts, then the prey will be split as needed. Kits will always eat first, then the hungrier or sicker of the mating pair, then the other.
However, before cats become mates they first must become friends. If 2 cats start a moon in the same square, that has not been claimed by either cat, then they have the opportunity to hunt, travel, or bond with each other. If it is successful, then 2 cats will form a friendship with each other. They may have to bond a few times before becoming friends.
If cats are friends, they will not chase each other out of their territory, unless the owner wishes too, and will assist each other in battles against enemies, if they are in the same square. Hunting with another cat will increase your hunting chances by a very small amount.
Raising kits can be difficult. If a kit gets even a little bit hungry, sick, or injured, they are very likely to die. It is recommended for kits to use their energy to play with their siblings while the parents hunt for themselves and their kits, as well as build up a strong territory and dominance during this time.
When the kits become adolescents, the parents should focus on training their kits and hunting. If kits are not being trained by their parents, they should train on their own or help hunt. When the kits become adults, then it is time for them to set off on their own.
Other things to Know
If you are attacked by a predator, your cat will automatically defend itself. It will always happen at the end of the moon, and will not cost you any energy that moon. However, you will loose 1 energy the next moon.
Adolecants will help their parents fight, but kits won't. If a colony is chased out of their territory, they will grab a random kit and run, and will always stick together. If any kits are left behind they will either be killed or they can be adopted by the cat who chased out their parents.
For couples who cannot have kits or if you don't have a mate and want to raise kits alone, there is an option to search for kits to adopt. It has a 25% chance of suceess and does not cost energy. You can only do this once per moon.
You often do not want other cats in your territory that are not in your conoly because it will decrease your chances of hunting by 8% and decrease your dominance.
Cats can be injured, hungry, and sick at the same time, or any other combination. Your energy will be decreased by all the negative stats you have, and will kill you if your energy reaches 0.

The Waiting List
Players join through kits.
When kits are born, players from the top of the waiting list will be placed into the game through one of these kits. When you are born as a kit, you cannot choose your own appearance, this is determined by your parent's coats or will be random if you have been found. You can choose your prefered gender, however. Parents also get to choose the name of their kits, but this does not mean that you can't contact them to ask for a certain name.
If the waiting list gets to long, I will allow some people to join as adult cats who have wandered into the territory.
