what's thanksgiving?

okay I know some of it

but it's not exactly celebrated here xD

It can be like a Christmas, since many people get together with family members you dont see too often.

Honestly, most of what I know about Thanksgiving is clean because we have it at our house lol.

Some of the stuff said can be a lie, since no one really knows when the tradition began for sure or how. I just...eat food with family members.

I think it originally was a gathering to thank god for the rain and everything that helps the crops flourish and for a good year.

It's not a widely celebrated thing here. Honestly, same with Halloween. Most people lock themselves in their houses n pretend they aren't there... 😔

Basically you get together with people you love and have a big dinner party for the most part. Usually there is a whole cooked turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, corn bread, and cranberry sauce. And often pumpkin pie and other desserts. Usually I just get together with family and eat a big dinner lol
