Trumpet and sax is honestly a w combination, i wanna learn bassoon but noooo it's gonna be "too hard" because "my mouth is adjusted to brass mouthpieces" (i would physically explode if i tried to play a double reed instrument)

Oh my gosh- yeah that teacher seriously does not deserve their job if they still have it

Our director is relatively nice but she does have her moments... I can't imagine having someone who literally verbally abuses us

I personally quit band because our teacher verbally abused us, used public humiliation as a tool, guilt tripped you into staying when you wanted quit, and yelled at kids until they cried
