This is super late to the topic and I missed most of it but dude, headaches and migraines are the worst. I have to drink 4 liters of water a day and 10 grams of salt due to health issues and literally any day I slack on that even just a little, or I get hot enough to sweat a little, they start up with a vengeance. Welcome to the RP thread. I'm assuming we know the plot so we don't need it written down but if we do need it, I'll replace this bit with the plot.

⌜ Appearance ⌟
↪ Caelan Cifarelli stands tall and imposing at 6'4", his presence commanding attention wherever he strides. His most striking feature lies within his eyes, a captivating display of central heterochromia. The majority of his irises are a mesmerizing shade of blue, framed by a ring of vivid red encircling his pupils. Within this crimson circle lies a delicate gradient of orange, creating a mesmerizing kaleidoscope of colors that seem to shift with his mood.
Draped in an aura of effortless cool, Caelan's attire reflects his understated yet edgy style. He favors simplicity, often seen wearing a plain black t-shirt, occasionally opting for a rare white one. Paired with this are plain black pants held securely by a sleek black belt cinched around his waist. Over his torso, he dons a weathered black leather jacket, a garment that seems to have been a steadfast companion through countless adventures.
Completing his ensemble are sturdy black combat boots that echo his readiness for any situation. Despite his imposing appearance, there's an air of mystery surrounding him that draws others in, an enigmatic allure that seems to linger in the very air around him.
Adorning his arms is a masterpiece of ink—a large, full sleeve tattoo depicting a majestic raven in mid-flight. The intricate design starts from his shoulder, its feathers seemingly in motion as they cascade down his arm, ending just before his right elbow. Each stroke of the tattoo carries a story, a testament to the depth and complexity of Caelan's character.
Caelan's short, fluffy pitch-black hair adds to his mysterious allure, framing his chiseled features with an air of untamed rebellion. His sun-kissed skin carries a natural warmth, hinting at hours spent beneath the open sky, a testament to his nomadic spirit.
But perhaps the most remarkable aspect of Caelan's appearance lies concealed from the eyes of mere mortals. Sprouting from his broad shoulders are giant black feathered wings, a majestic sight to behold. However, through his extraordinary abilities, he cloaks these magnificent appendages from human sight, ensuring that his true nature remains hidden from all but the most perceptive.
Around his waist hangs a silver chain, its loop dropping with a subtle elegance, adding a touch of understated glamour to his ensemble. His fingers are adorned with two silver rings on each hand, positioned on his index and middle fingers, gleaming softly in the light.
Around his neck, he wears a silver necklace, a pentagram dangling from its delicate chain, a symbol of protection and power. Alongside it, two smaller almost choker-length silver chain necklaces rest, their simplicity contrasting with the intricate tattoo adorning his arms.
⌜ Personality ⌟

Resourceful. He has a knack for finding solutions in difficult situations, often thinking outside the box to overcome obstacles.
Confident. With a strong belief in his abilities, Caelan exudes confidence in everything he does, inspiring trust and admiration in those around him.
Adventurous. He has an adventurous spirit, always seeking out new experiences and challenges to fuel his thirst for excitement and discovery.
Resilient. Despite facing adversity, Caelan demonstrates resilience, bouncing back from setbacks with determination and perseverance.
Manipulative. Caelan can be cunning and manipulative, using his charm and charisma to bend situations to his advantage.
Temperamental. At times, he struggles to control his emotions, prone to bouts of anger or frustration when things don't go his way.
Distrustful. Due to his tumultuous origins, Caelan often harbors a deep-seated distrust towards others, making it difficult for him to form genuine connections.
Reckless. His adventurous spirit can sometimes lead him to act impulsively, disregarding the consequences of his actions in pursuit of excitement or thrill.
Self-Interested. Despite his loyalty to those he cares about, Caelan's primary concern is often his own well-being and goals, occasionally prioritizing himself over others.
⌜ Strengths ⌟
Intuition. Caelan possesses a heightened sense of intuition, honed from the blend of demonic and human instincts within him. This allows him to perceive subtle cues and make quick, instinctual decisions, particularly useful in navigating dangerous or uncertain situations.
Adaptability. Born from disparate origins, Caelan has developed a remarkable adaptability to various environments and circumstances. Whether it's facing supernatural threats or navigating the complexities of the mortal world, he can quickly adjust and thrive in changing conditions.
Manipulative Charisma. Drawing from his demonic lineage, Caelan has a natural charm and charisma that he can use to influence others. While this trait can be manipulative, it also serves him well in negotiations, persuasion, and gaining allies when needed.
Innate Resilience. Caelan possesses a resilient nature, forged from the inherent strength of both his human and demonic ancestry. This resilience enables him to endure physical and emotional challenges, bouncing back from setbacks with determination and resolve.
⌜ Weaknesses ⌟
Struggles with Trust. Due to his mixed heritage and the often deceptive nature of demons, Caelan struggles to trust others fully. This inherent distrust can hinder his ability to form deep connections and alliances, leaving him vulnerable to betrayal.
Impulsive Behavior. Caelan's adventurous spirit and tendency towards impulsiveness can lead him to make rash decisions without considering the consequences. This impulsivity can put him and those around him in danger, especially in high-stakes situations.
Inner Conflict. Being torn between his human and demonic sides, Caelan grapples with internal conflict and identity issues. This inner turmoil can sometimes cloud his judgment and weaken his resolve, leaving him vulnerable to manipulation or self-destructive behavior.
Vulnerability to Demonic Influence. Despite his efforts to resist his demonic impulses, Caelan is inherently susceptible to the corrupting influence of his demon heritage. Under certain circumstances or when facing extreme emotional stress, he may struggle to control darker urges or impulses.
⌜ Likes ⌟
Exploring. Caelan relishes the thrill of exploration, whether it's traversing through hidden trails in the wilderness or delving into the mysteries of ancient ruins. He finds solace and excitement in discovering new places and uncovering hidden secrets.
Training. With a mesomorphic physique and a natural inclination towards physical prowess, Caelan enjoys pushing his limits through rigorous training sessions. Whether it's honing his combat skills or enhancing his physical strength, he finds satisfaction in the discipline and focus required to improve himself.
Dark Roast Coffee. Despite his supernatural origins, Caelan has developed a fondness for the simple pleasures of mortal life, including the rich, bold flavor of dark roast coffee. He often indulges in a steaming cup of coffee to fuel his adventures or provide a moment of respite amidst the chaos of his world.
Night Sky. Drawn to the ethereal beauty of the night sky, Caelan finds solace and inspiration in the quiet moments spent gazing at the stars. Whether it's contemplating the vastness of the universe or simply enjoying the tranquility of the night, he finds peace in the timeless beauty of the cosmos.
Music. Despite his stoic exterior, Caelan has a deep appreciation for music, finding solace and emotional resonance in its melodies and rhythms. Whether it's the haunting strains of classical compositions or the raw energy of rock music, he finds comfort and catharsis in the power of sound.
⌜ Dislikes ⌟
Pious Individuals. Caelan harbors a distrust and dislike towards individuals who exhibit strong religious fervor or piety, particularly those aligned with angelic inclinations. He often finds their self-righteousness and narrow-mindedness grating, viewing them as potential threats or adversaries.
Restriction of Freedom. Caelan values his autonomy and freedom above all else, despising anything or anyone that seeks to impose limitations or constraints upon him. He rebels against authority figures and societal norms that seek to control or suppress him, fiercely guarding his independence.
Prejudice and Discrimination. Having experienced prejudice and discrimination firsthand due to his mixed heritage, Caelan holds a deep-seated resentment towards those who judge or mistreat others based on their lineage or origins. He advocates for equality and acceptance, rejecting bigotry and intolerance in all its forms.
Blind Obedience. Caelan dislikes blind obedience and unquestioning loyalty, viewing such behavior as a sign of weakness or manipulation. He values critical thinking and individual agency, preferring to forge his own path rather than following blindly along with the whims of others.
⌜ Affiliations ⌟
↪ TBA
⌜ Other ⌟
↪ Supernatural Ability Drawbacks May Include:
Telepathy. Distance creates huge amounts of strain and may have him end up unconcious if he isn't careful, rival telepathy may block his own.
Telekinesis. An opponent with greater physical strength than the user's Telekinesis may break free, or even have a sort of "limited immunity" to the ability. Severe headaches/dizziness.
Healing. Caelan cannot permanently heal. He can heal non-fatal wounds but without proper medical care they will come back. (Faster or slower, depends on how serious the injury is)
He can also only heal if he's touching said injury, and he may only heal himself and one other person in the same area.
Memory Manipulation. Memories must be well defined/convincing, or the target may suspect that it's not their own. He also cannot manipulate memories with intense feelings attached to them such as the day your family member died very easily. (It's the first example I thought of 😭) Memory manipulation is the most used of all the powers, to keep his wings hidden from humans. (He doesn't bother hiding it from demons/angels)

Ruzzon, the Bringer of Death

Name

Ruzzon

Alias

As for mortal disguise, she uses the name Sammi the most. Sammi Hunt.

Age

Shes lost count, but around 126 years old. Her mortal appearance is around 25 years old.

Gender

Female

Although demons can jump vessels, Ruzzon has always taken on female.

Pronouns

She/her

Sexuality

A girl gets what she gets

Species

Demon

Powers

Vessel Jumping

A universal thing for demons, but Ruzzon is able to jump vessels for a short period of time. Demons are only known to possess humans for as long as they please as long as the soil allows them or it is taken over, but there are times that she would be able to possess an animal or take over a dead body as well. Very rarely is this used, but it only works for, again, as long as the soul lets her or until she feels herself getting weaker from not being in a body that's already invited her. Utilizing this power too much will cause her powers to weaken.

Shadow Mimicry

Razzon is able to form shadows that appear to be someone you may have lost, love, etc. This becomes useful as a way to gain leverage against someone in a time of desperate need. On very rare occasions she is able to morph herself, but because of her departure of hell, she is not as strong as she once was and is very wary of using the power in that sense. The shadows do not speak and are transparent most of the time, so it's obvious the person she is trying to show you is not real. She has to have seen them in order to make them appear.

Telekineses

She can move things and people without touching them. Pretty self explanatory. Her only problem with this is if being overused, she becomes rather nauseous and gains a nasty headache. Razzon has been known to fly people across rooms as a dramatic entrance and that's about the only time she'll ever use it.

As a demon, and like any other demon, she has strengthened senses and can detect other celestial beings unless warded, semi-immortality as she can still be killed, can call hellhounds (only when deals are made and by means of their time being up), has connections with hell. She cannot enter Heaven unless welcomed, which why would the angels ever do such a thing?

Appearance

Ruzzon, a natural beauty, blessed with the olive skin of her vessel. Her stature of five foot ten with a lean muscle build and defining features definitely will make her unforgettable. Her skin - sun kissed and freckled with undertones of orange and reds. She is mostly clear of scarring, but possessing a vessel so long comes with its cons. Horrific stab wounds scar her stomach and chest due to encounters with those who have a distaste to her kind. Ruzzon tries her best to hide such horrible wounds, though they're easy enough to cover. As aforementioned, freckles litter her skin, mostly across her face, arms, and chest area. Speaking of, her chests are considered to be an average size, helping with the feminine curve of her waist. She holds herself with confidence and perhaps a certain cockiness that only a few have been able to handle - head up, shoulders back, and long struts with those defined legs of hers.

Ruzzon has a diamond face shape. Her jawline is heavily defined with cheekbones to accompany it with slightly sunken eyes that are a bit rounded more than they are narrow. They are of hazel in color, mostly leaning towards more brown in most cases. They are rimmed with thin yet long lashes, mostly partnered with a dark mascara and slightly smudged eyeliner to accentuate them even more so. Her nose is narrow and small, slightly upturned at the end to lead down to her full lips, the bottom protruding slightly furthermore than the top. They are a rosy pink in color, but you can expect her to wear an eye-catching red or nude lip color to catch your attention to (probably) become her next victim. Her eyebrows are a dark black, most likely dyed in her vessels time, and are full and arched, though still defined and clean. Her skin almost always appears to be moisturized, glistening in the sun or whatever available light is around.

Ruzzon has a full head of dark hair - a dark brunette. Depending on the lighting it would appear to be black, though it is truly brown. Her hair falls to just about the middle of her back and you can expect it to look as clean as it gets. It's thick and very much taken care of. The texture is soft and has a slight wave to it. She likes to wear it mostly in any type of braid to keep it out of the way, but for more special occasions, you can expect braids, curls, maybe even ribbons throughout. She likes to add dramatics using her own style to be more center of attention.

Speaking of being center of attention, you can expect Ruzzon to be dressed especially well. Her clothes are mostly specifically tailored to her, being dresses and suits and such. However, you could expect a more casual outfit when she's not trying to impress everyone. She wears mostly skinny jeans, a t shirt and flannel. However, because a demon is supposed to be... prepared, she'll only ever wear such nonesense when she knows she won't be considerably busy at a given moment. She wears an accumulation of rings and necklaces, even bracelets. She enjoys the sparkle of them and how stunning they are. Ruzzon might even go as far to say they're her favorite thing in the mortal realm.

Alternate Form

As a demon, your vessel is simply what you want to appear as. Her demon form is much more complex yet simplistic. When out of the vessel, she appears as a dark shadowy figure with blazing red eyes and burning skin. She almost appears misty and smokey. When in this form, she will leave behind ashes and sulfur, the stench remaining as well. This is common for all demons and makes it known that they were around.

Personality

Ruzzon is not your average demon. She is a demon that has killed more than you can imagine by her own doing, something that normally doesn't happen. Her life has come down to one thing - power. She kills for it. Longs for it. Her destination is to become the Queen of Hell, and her original plan was to in fact kill the mighty Lucifer. But even outside of Hell, she still is on the lookout for any gain she can get and to bring her towards her goals. Ruzzon has her mind made up on most things, and she is very hard to convince. Very rarely would you ever find her changing her opinion or decision for someone just because they begged. If you get in her way, you can expect one hell of a fight and you can also expect death on either side. You see, there's a certain resilience to this demon. She stops at nothing. Obsessive. The second you make an attempt to stop her is also the second you become her enemy. Ruzzon carries herself with confidence and assurance of herself, making it obvious she needs no one. Not a single soul could ever work with her, and that would partially be because of her harsh attitude and need to do things the way she wants to.

An easy way to describe Ruzzon is bratty. While flirtatious and charismatic, she gets what she wants no matter the cost. You have something she wants? She'll get it. Her obsessions with things is probably the only motive she's ever truly had — you mustn't question it either. She uses her wit and charm to manipulate those around her and has quite the tendency to make you fall for her in the process. She will read so deep into your soul that she will point out things that you may have never even noticed about yourself. You will become so enthralled with her that no matter how bad you want to leave her, you simply can't. Ruzzon is captivating in the way that it's only useful to her. You could be the most mundane person and she'd make you feel like you were worth the world, when in reality, you've only become a apart of her plan. She's known for her intoxicating and addicting behavior. Of course, Ruzzon likes to have fun. When you appear as a beautiful woman, this becomes very, very useful as well. Whether it's for personal gain or for her own entertainment, expect yourself to be in for a ride if you don't already know what she is and what she is capable of.

Selfish, selfish, selfish. Ruzzon cares about nobody or anything. Honestly, mot even her own species. She does not care if you weep. If you're mad. If you have a better idea. There is no changing a power-hungry woman's mind in any matter. If you've ever wondered what it was like trying to talk to a brick wall, she would be the extraordinary example. While she can hold conversation, most of it is filled to the brim with witty and mostly annoying remarks. She will leave a sour taste in your mouth. But if you have something she wants whether you know it or not, she'll make sure you stick around. She'll ensure that her own duty is fulfilled and she'll probably thank you in Hell for what you've done after she's thrown you to the side. Ruzzon is normally looking for someone who would obey her, therefore her tactics would be seemingly more gentle until proven otherwise. She believes mortals are nothing more than vessels here to help her get what she wants. And for her, nobody has been able to show her that their purpose is something else.

Like any other woman, Ruzzon needs her adventure. Party. Dressing up. Glam. Trying on outfits. It's quite a challenge living such a life and trying to maintain a twenty-something year old. Regardless, Ruzzon has taken a liking to it. When she goes out, she ensures that she wears the most appealing things. Of course other intentions are on her mind other than seduction, but when you're looking for power, validation never hurt anyone. She's dishonest and a liar, yes, but for a night she could be whatever you wanted. Mostly for her own entertainment, Ruzzon holds herself to a standard of finding someone that she knows everyone else would find considerably attractive and make them her puppet for the night... or week... or month. Regardless, she'll use you until you no longer serve her.

Ruzzon is highly calculated and intelligent. Evil, of course - nothing she does is for the greater good and only for her own interest and sake. Sadistic humor and spitting on mortals allows for a wave of happiness in her heart, but everything comes down to a single plan. Everything she does - where she goes, who she talks to, who she looks for - is a part of a bigger plan. Well, most of it. Whether she's playing a part to lure you in or you're just there and she captures you, you're a part of something. Ruzzon likes to think of the bigger picture... for herself, so she's already thought of every possible outcome. No, she can't see into the future, but she does know what's good for her.

Strengths

+Highly Intelligent

+Powerful (still not enough for her)

+Persuasive

+Manipulative Charm

+Alert

Weaknesses

-Obsessive

-Easily bored

-Isolated

-Banished from Hell

-Harsh

Affiliations

Lucifer

Ah, the man himself. Also the same man that she attempted to kill to take his spot... except it didn't go so well. He banished her from Hell and is forcing her to live on Earth for the rest of her days. However, like Razzon, she has a plan to reach Hell powerful than ever and kill him for good to take over the throne as Queen of Hell. These two have never gotten along, but why would that matter if she's already planned to kill him the moment she was created?

Backstory

Most of it is just plotting against her enemies and getting revenge. Why not? What's gonna happen? Not like she can get arrested.

However, currently she is on the hunt for a Nephilim to take their powers as they are even more capable than any angel or demon as they are born that way, not possessed.

Other

Expect dramatics.

Caelan woke up to sun filtering through the window and shining onto him. He hadn't made it upstairs to his bedroom last night, and it was his own fault. He had stayed up all last night just binge watching a new show he had found yesterday. This show was called "Everdrama" and even though the name felt self-explanatory, it was a very well made show.

He could go on and on about it, but the main thing about it was that Caelan enjoyed the characters. They weren't horribly acted, they weren't over the top, and, best of all... they were supernatural characters. Specifically an angels versus demons type situation with a few witches, vampires and various other supernatural creatures sprinkled in at times.

He got himself up and off of the couch. He stretched, arms and hands up above his head. The TV was still on, though playing something completely different from when Caelan had fallen asleep, so he turned that off.

Caelan felt around his pockets for his phone and took it out of his right pocket. Checking the time, the screen said '12:47pm'.

"Shit." Caelan groaned. He had woken up much later than he should have woken up. He was very late to meet with his friend group.

"Oh well, we can reschedule for sometime later.." Caelan murmured. He headed towards the kitchen, setting his phone down on the counter top.

Caelan checked through all the cupboards, and the fridge but at the end of it all he was very disappointed. There was very little food, and while there was still enough for a bit of something, he wasn't in the mood for the little bit he did have.

"I'll have to go shopping today.." Caelan sighed. "It's actually kind of sad that I've let it get to this point."

'Might as well do it now, nothing better to do.' Caelan thought and with that, he grabbed his phone off the counter. He made his way to the front of the house, taking his jacket off the hook and tossed it on in a quick, fluid motion.

Caelan opened up the door, stepping outside and immediately got hit with the bright rays of the sun. He mentally swore at the sun for getting in the way of his sight. Despite the annoying amounts of sun, today was actually a pretty decent day. It was much calmer than usual, it felt peaceful and it was a warm temperature.

On his way to the store Caelan spotted a cafe. It seemed inviting, it seemed quaint. It had a unique charm to it that lured him in. He ended up walking inside. Surprisingly there was quite a big line up, but oh well. He took his place at the end of the line just like everyone else would have.

Unintentionally and involuntarily Caelan concealed his wings from everyone around him, shifting and changing the memories of each person to carefully edit out his wings. It did have a strain to it, just like every other power he had.

When it was finally his turn, he ordered a simple dark roast coffee and was directed to wait for his drink over towards the left. Which he of course did after paying for said drink.

Once the drink was in his hand and he had thanked the lady who made it, he left in a slightly better mood than he had been in when he entered the cafe.

He didn't hate crowded places but he wasn't exactly a fan of it either, and that place sure was packed.

There was a faint smell of sulfur lingered in the air though Caelan payed no mind to it. He ignored it, thinking it was the sewers under the road or something. It wasn't completely logical but there was no reason to try to rationalize it in the least.

He edited his plan and found himself sitting on a bench at the New Forest Park. This choice was made from 'Well, it's not like I could carry too much when one of my hands is taken up by my drink' and so, he spent his time just relaxing.

"Ugh, Brian, you bore me," Ruzzon said, followed by a small chuckle. She smiled, her white teeth revealed by her painted lips. She looked at the man in front of her, sitting across, admiring her. She could always see the glimpse in men's eyes of how hungry they grew by the moment. Disgusting, really. A woman normally appreciated her - her clothes, hair, skin, the things a woman would dream of a man doing. Whatever it was, this Brian character wasn't exactly what she was looking for.

The entertainment was there, however. "Cmon, let's go back to my place. It's quieter there," Brian said. He was practically begging at this point. Ruzzon smirked slightly. She looked around the bar, her eyes scanning the area for a way out that wouldn't require exactly sneaking away. Ah, but what else was she going to do? Her quest could be paused for a night. Ruzzon reluctantly nodded, almost as if to say she already knew where this was going.

"You got more of this?" Ruzzon asked, raising her shot glass. Brian nodded.

"Anything you want," he said with a smile. He left a tip at the bar counter and gestured for Ruzzon's hand, which she took. She downed the rest of her drink as she slowly but surely followed him, setting it on another table before the pair exited the bar. The city lights gleamed down on the wet street below as it had drizzled lightly, Ruzzon feeling the wetness hit her exposed skin as she wore a black dress.

Ruzzon chuckled. "Brian, now you're really boring me," she said. She looked over at him as he climbed into the drivers side of his car.

"Uh, how?" He asked.

"You drive a beat-to-shit Honda Accord but you're wearing an expensive watch and a suit that you got tailored just for you. You paid the bartender in all ones though..." she trailed off, slightly leaning over to get close to his face. "Which means you have bigger bills that you've broken. Unless you stole what you're wearing and you paid in all ones because you couldn't find a big enough hit money-wise," she whispered in his ear.

"Sammi..." Brian said softly.

Ruzzon clicked her tongue and leaned back in her seat. "Yeah, you're boring," she cocked her eyebrows. She shook her head, almost in disbelief. The audacity! She thought. She huffed, thinking to herself for a moment. She looked at Brian who was distraught, unsure of what to think.

"Oh baby don't be scared. I just figured if you were stealing stuff you'd at least bring a damsel in distress along," she said in a teasing tone. Brian's eyes widened slightly as he began to choke suddenly. Ruzzon shook her head, her hand slightly tightening.

"Ugh the worst part is watching you go. If only you were an honest man, Brian. This could've been super fun. Maybe a lucky night for you. But for now," she continued, her hand tightening even more, Brian gasping for air as he clutched at his own throat. His eyes were wide and full of fear. "I'll have to meet you in hell, love."

---

Maybe it was the late night. Or the constant thoughts running through her brain. But Ruzzon had left that man... what was his name? Brian, dead in his car, and when she left she made sure to leave no trace. Not that the cops would be able to stop her. When you're a demon, you're way more than any law. Perhaps a balance of good and evil. Ha, mostly evil. She knew that's what she was and she loved every second of it.

She had stayed in a nearby hotel... one that she snuck in if she was being honest. Well not that she had anything to pay with. When you're Ruzzon, you just kinda get what you want and if that's not the case, you have a huge regret. But nearby she could feel what was some sort of pulse. Something luring her in, and when she awoke, Ruzzon was quick to fix herself up.

The Nephilim.

You see, this... abomination had something she wanted. Needed. Power. A Nephilim was the offspring of a angel or demon and a human. The thing about them was that one - they're rare. And two, they're born that way. When you're a demon you simply possess a vessel and that's it. You're born from creation, but never given access to as much power as your creator. But a Nephilim.... a direct offspring of your creator.

Ruzzon followed the feeling of being lured to a coffee shop. She looked around for a moment, placing her black sunglasses atop her head as she slightly adjusted her dress when walking in. She looked around for a moment, noting how cozy it was inside. It was quiet however, and she could feel herself being even more drawn to the building because of the energy inside. She smirked slightly, the barista asking what she wanted.

"Just here to meet someone, thank you," Ruzzon said with a light smile. She turned, the feeling had grown weaker. She hummed softly. Ruzzon looked around yet again, leaving the building. She closed her eyes for a moment.

"You're here..." she murmured to herself before opening her eyes again. The feeling had grown only slightly stronger, but just enough that she could follow it. Someone else was around, Nephilim or not, but she prayed it would be her target that she longed for.

After walking for a while, she looked up to see a sign. "New Forest Park", as it was labeled. Engrained in wood. She looked around, seeing a man sitting at a bench. She laughed softly. "Gotcha," she hummed under her breath.

She approached the man. "Excuse me, sir, could you direct me to the closest route to a gas station? My car broke down a few miles back..." she trailed off, her expression seemingly worrisome and unsure. She knew he could probably sense her and smell her stench, but the idea was nice.

Caelan was mid sip when the smell from before intensified. At first, again, he ignored it. He thought it would just pass like before. But no, it just kept coming. He realized he was mostly used to the smell, but he could still pick it out.

He was just setting his drink down, resting it on his leg, when he heard someone talking to him. He turned and saw a stranger, but she looked harmless so it seemed okay. Still, that smell of sulfur..

"Yeah," Caelan began. "If I remember correctly, the closest gas station is about two miles from here. I'm judging from memory, of course, so I may be incorrect." He gave her an apologetic smile.

There was something odd about her that only hit him in that moment. She seemed to look normal but the smell of sulfur had followed her, maybe even come from her. She looked just like the average woman as far as he could tell, but he couldn't just shake the feeling of something being off.

Caelan didn't usually encounter demons, or angels. He really only encountered humans, which was why he was having such a hard time figuring out what she was. Which was why he kept trying to find reason to just believe she was completely normal.

Caelan had moved, many, many times due to demons hunting him and here in Mirstone, he had found peace. For some reason, those pesky demons had lost him and for about two years now he was completely fine. He had sort of forgotten that they even existed, to a degree. He could never forget what he was, and that constantly reminded him that they did exist but he always pushed those thoughts out of his mind.

It did click, finally, that she would have to be a demon. All of the signs pointed towards that one answer, and it had to be correct... right?

He decided that even though she may be a demon, she hadn't tried anything yet. It should be safe... for now. Should she try anything, he'd win. He was confident in that, even out of practice.

'Maybe I should use one of my abilities..' Caelan considered. Telepathy might be a fun one to start with. He didn't want to use anything more today, he had stretched himself a bit more than usual by changing the memories of all those people at the cafe earlier.

Caelan casually took another sip of his coffee, waiting for the strangers reply. He let his thoughts run wild.

'I wonder if she can see my wings. That'd confirm her being a demon, since I see no point in hiding them from creatures that are used to seeing them anyway. If she looks at my wings, in any way, I'll know.'

Unforuntately for himself, any other power than telepathy or memory manipulation wouldn't help him in a casual conversation like this. In any situation where he didn't need to defend himself actively, that is. Telekinesis would be.. funny, if he used it now. It was still a public park, and sending a lady flying into the air would be quite the sight.

Healing? What was there to heal? He had no wounds currently, that ability was of no use either.

"I can call someone to bring you there, if you'd like." Caelan offered. It was a small offer, and Caelan saw nothing wrong with it but he did also hear that it might sound dismissive, and that wasn't what he meant with that sentence. He meant it as a genuine offer of help.

If she wanted to, she could've gone with him. The problem with that one? The issue was that Caelan had walked here himself, and left his car at home.

He just didn't want to walk all the way back to his house, get the car, come back and get her there. He wanted to relax, it was Saturday too! Saturdays were for relaxing, weren't they? Sundays took the place of a relaxing Saturday if you decided to go out with friends on a Saturday night, but in any other situation, Saturdays were just the first of two full days of relaxation and not having to deal with people and there issues.

'Or getting hunted by demons.' That thought crept back into his brain and the only thing he could do was mentally facepalm. It just wouldn't stay away.

Ruzzon could feel the force thicken as she had approached the man. He was exactly what she was looking for. Although you couldn't outwardly see it, her lips were smiling and her heart was warm... on the inside. Perhaps now she could have a chance at getting what she wanted, but obviously, a Nephilim could sense other celestials as much as she could. Perhaps even more so. Regardless, Ruzzon took note of the wings that she had only now noticed. She was unsure of how he would get around in those without others noticing.

"Do you have something on your back?" She asked. She didn't take another step closer. She felt as though that would give her away of whether or not he was supposed to be hiding them. She then shook her head. "Ah, must be imagining things. Don't worry," she then said reluctantly and cleared her throat. She nodded when he had responded.

Ruzzon was in her own head for a moment. Two miles in heels is unbearable, she thought. Obviously - well, to her - she wasn't going to walking two miles anywhere. Not while her target sat in front of her, seemingly unaware of what she was. Whether he knew it or not, she knew who he was. Or is. He was just what she needed to get back to where she truly belonged... as fun as Earth was. Mortals were more and more predictable by the day and that really took the fun out of things most nights.

She nodded. "If it's not trouble... maybe you could walk with me? Someone as handsome as you should have no trouble keeping the creeps away. I feel like this city has gotten bad with that. Y'know, weird men and all. I'm sure you're not like them?" Ruzzon said with an unsure smile. She then stuck her hand out.

"I'm Sammi," she said. "Sammi Hunt."

Ruzzon waited for a response before continuing to evaluate him in a discreet way. She didn't get too close to him, though the appearance of the man was a bit appealing to her. Oh! As most things were. Whatever. Not that it would really stop her from doing anything.

He seemed quite tall, taller than Ruzzons vessel which was apparent by how his legs looked while sitting. Long. He wore dark clothing, which Ruzzon could appreciate. A leather jacket. A belt. Combat boots. So was he sophisticated in his own way? Ruzzon would say so. It wasn't like she had ever not encountered a man like this one. Maybe it was the fact she was going to end up sucking the life out him.

Poor thing.

"I'm sorry if I'm bothering you. I'm just new around here," Ruzzon said as she then rubbed her bare arms. The cold was maybe starting to get to her. Or that's how it looked. She stood there, her legs close together, one knee slightly bent, with her arms crossed. She looked like a damsel in only slight distress, which she hoped would help sell her act. Not desperate, but desperate enough.

"If I can repay you in any way... I can," Ruzzon then said with a small smile. Everyone knew what that meant without her saying anything.

Gosh, you're going to kill him. Use him. Abuse him. Torture him. And you're flirting with your target? That's like playing with your food. Ruzzon, you're horrible.

But oh how fun and entertaining it was. Ruzzon had no problems with flirting. Didn't matter who you were. You could be the ugliest man - unlike the one in front of her - and she'd still try and make you feel like you were worth a million dollars. Now, does it get old? Well, as time has gone on, and being banished to Earth for twenty some years, she can say that mortals are predictable.

And does she hate being predictable.

Maybe this Nephilim was smart enough to catch on to her act and play nice. Maybe he didn't know at all. No mention of sulfur or a bad stench had yet to be brought up. For now, she was lucky. Ruzzon already knew where she would reach had he tried anything. Beneath her dress was a knife sheath strapped to her thigh. Came in quite handy. The blade was specifically made for killing demons. Would it work on a Nephilim? No, but injury would be useful in such a situation.

'So she can see them.'

That wasn't amazing. Caelan became more guarded, and hoped it didn't come off as too obvious. Even if she tried to play it off, he knew she had seen them and she must be a demon. He decided to let her continue pretending as if she hadn't seen them.

"Sure, I'll walk with you." Caelan got up and shook her hand. "I appreciate the compliment, Sammi."

"My name's Caelan Cifarelli. You can just call me Cae, it's easier for most people."

'I wonder where she's going with this. Maybe telling her my name was a mistake, perhaps she'll know who I am based off of that. Oh well' Caelan didn't regret his choice. There's reason for it to become a problem, but he was confident that whatever problem it may cause would be minor or dealt with quickly enough for it to not matter in the least.

"It's no problem, I'm doing this out of my own decency. No need to repay me," Caelan smiled. "Though, I'd take a free drink."

Cae watched the demon, inwardly not caring about her flirting with him. Outwardly, he also behaved like he was just ignoring it, mostly. And he was, since he didn't care about it.

Caelan wasn't the type to flirt with strangers, he reserved that for people he had genuine connections to. Well, that or strangers in the type of setting for such a thing, not out and about in a park meant for having a calm and peaceful time.

He also wasn't in the mood for anything really, he had come out here thinking nobody would walk up and talk to him. It wasn't really a bother, but at the same time he couldn't help his thoughts going to such things.

"If you're cold, I'd be willing to share my jacket." Cae offered. "If you'd want it, of course."

He wasn't a fan of sharing clothing items, and she was a demon. She might steal it, you never know. Still, he was born into the human world, and he might as well try to be morally correct. When he could, when it wasn't difficult.

Caelan got up from his spot on the bench, folding his wings behind his back. He wanted to keep them close to his body, that way they wouldn't be getting in his way. There was one time when a human felt the wings but didn't see them, and that conversation was so hard to get out of that he wanted to avoid it again at all costs.

He walked off towards a square, dark gray, trash can and tossed his empty cup into it. Once he was done with that quick task, he went back and stood beside her at a safe but casual distance.

"Ready to go? It's quite a walk but might as well start now." Caelan took the first step towards the gas station, waiting for her to confirm that she wanted to go.

Ruzzon continued to study him. He has warm skin and dark hair with striking features. Ew, Ruzzon! Again, playing with your food! You know, the big guy downstairs would never allow for that. The voices continued on in her head, but she couldn't help to counter them. The big guy isn't around now, is he? Lucky for Ruzzon, he hadn't been for a while. Her equivalent of running rampant on Earth could easily be compared to war crimes... for demons. Same idea. Nonetheless, Ruzzon looked him up and down.

"Ah, thank you. I really hope it's no worry," she said again. Men liked the apologetic women, right? To be able to run back to them? Well, not like he'd get away in the first place. Oh! But a game of cat and mouse was quite fun. Again, with the playing of your prey. Well, Ruzzon figured she could make some things enjoyable for him. Mostly for her. Yeah. For her.

"Nice name for a nice man," she stated with another half smile. Her tone was simply kind, not weird or flirtacious. Perhaps she was making him uncomfortable... Unless he knew what she was. The idea wouldn't exactly be super far fetched.

Ruzzon smiled at the mention of alcohol. "Cae, you sound like you know how to have fun. I'm a drinking gal myself," she said with a small laugh followed by her exciting tone. He was getting to be interesting. It might be hard to watch this one go, she thought. Well, she did have all the time in the world.

Ruzzon looked up at him at the offer of his work leather jacket. She would, but the energy would probably make her vomit. Everywhere. She shook her head. "Ah, I'll be alright. I appreciate the offer. I think I can say your mother raised you right, Caelan," she said. Ruzzon kindly touched his shoulder instead, her touch soft.

Yup. Might throw up. Ruzzon managed to keep the feeling down in her stomach. If he caught on by now, he'd say something, and if not, he'd definitely smell something or sense it. Ruzzon then scoffed. "Don't want to leave a stench on something if you got a lady," she laughed. "Or man," she added with a slight shrug. She watched as he rose to his feet.

Definitelt tall. Charming. Ugh, this was going to be extra difficult. She looked up at him when he asked if she was ready to go. "Yes, thank you," she said, beginning to walk. She kept her distance but didn't stray away at an awkward one.

"You seem familiar with the city... I'm assuming you live here?" She asked, looking over at him for a moment before looking forwards. Pfft. She already knew that. Pretending to be human was getting boring but if she were to attack, she would ensure that it was far away from any mortal. What she would do to him would be far too gruesome for any average being. The image of it made even her want to not be around. Like that would stop her though.

"I recently moved here. Sorta. Some complications back home with parents," Ruzzon continued blabbing. About what? Whatever it was she picked up on what mortals talked about. As much as she hated listening to the boring talk and would only pretend that she cared, Ruzzon picked up on some semi-useful things. Like topics.

But why was she trying so hard? He had to know at this point. She definitely knew. Ruzzon huffed softly to herself. The atmosphere had went quiet and she grew unsure of what to say. What was there to say? She was going to kill him eventually. That was definite. Her mind was clearly made up about that. Ruzzon had already planned out how she was going to make Hell her bitch. The thought was always pleasing.

Maybe if she could find a way without killing Caelan, he could join her. No. Well, perhaps. He would serve her. Maybe a dark fantasy wasn't the best thing to be thinking about now though, was it? Ruzzon continued walking, her long legs carrying her through each step. She walked slightly behind the man, but only in the tiniest of bit, prepared to attack if needed.

“Yeah, it's not a problem at all.” Caelan nodded. “Thank you.”

Caelan wasn't speaking without emotion, even if his words sounded like it. He was simply replying, and he didn't have much to add to the conversation in those areas.

“I hope you stick around long enough to join me sometime,” Caelan grinned. “Suit yourself. And no, I don't have anyone as of late.”

It wasn't that he hadn't before, but Caelan didn't usually stick to one person. Not that he didn't want to, but none of his partners ever stuck around long enough to convince him they were a good fit. The longest he had dated someone? One year.

One year and said person had been there purely to try and destroy his heart. Would've worked too, if he had cared. You can stick by him as long as you want, for all eternity even, but he will still always keep thinking ‘even those you trust will end up betraying you'. And so, he stays vigilant.

Caelan led the way towards the gas station. The path he walked on at first was the general park ground, regular ground that had been worn down from countless people walking the path each day.

He tried to slow his regular pace to make sure Sammi could keep up with him, ‘it'd be a shame to leave behind a demon, all defenseless and alone. I'm sure that's how she'd play it.’

“Yes I do, not far from the park actually.” Caelan engaged her in small talk. “Oh? How are you liking it so far? Not too difficult to get used to everything, hopefully.”

Caelan had a nice ans cozy, home not far from the cafe. Of course, he wouldn't be telling the demon where he lived, that would be stupid. Caelan wasn't that dumb.

‘I wonder what she's planning.’ Caelan glanced behind himself, checking if she was still there. He may have gotten a little carried away in his own thoughts and left her behind by accident, but no, she was still there.

The path lead them to a cement sidewalk right beside a very busy, loud and annoying road. It may not be annoying to everyone but Cae personally hated how loud it was.

They'll turn soon, down a much quieter path. Caelan wasn't willing to stay by the road for too long. He'd take them down a worn down road that could be mistaken for a trail, but that was because cars normally didn't travel there.

It was a well travelled path, to humans and himself. And.. the demon slightly behind him. However, there seemed to be nobody around today.

Once they were down the quiet path, that would prolong their journey but only by a few minutes, Cae's wings ruffled. It was a sign of either annoyance, anxiousness or both. Right now, it was a slight amount of both.

Caelan took a deep breath, tilting his head up so he could look at the beautiful pale blue sky. He exhaled and decided he would just straight out ask.

“Well, you don't have to pretend you're something you're not anymore.” Caelan began, his tone of voice oddly calm.

“So, if you'll be so kind as to indulge me, what are you here for?” He assumed there was a reason. There was always a reason.

Cae decided it was fine to out her here, no humans around. They each knew what each other was, no point in pretending like that wasn't the case. If this leads to a fight, oh well.

She couldn't have any tricks up her sleeve that he hadn't encountered before. Without doubt.
