After saving a modern kingdom, the nine heroes must work through the aftermath of all that happened. Will they be able to put their past behind them, or will they succumb to thoughts of everything that could have happened? And what about this tenth, one that had been on the side of evil not too long ago? Finally though, when the now ten are called forward to once again save their people- Will they succeed? Or will they be the ones to fail?
When a whisper is enough to set off a landmine, will there be enough foundation and support to keep the rest afloat?

The Leader; The leader of the group is one that they all sort of silently agreed upon. They didn’t bring everyone together, that was actually The Traveler, but they were the one that everyone gravitated towards to follow. Their powers consist of being able to take all the light from a room and turn it into an attack, and electricity.
The Second In Command; Ah yes, the second. This one was the second addition, actually, and just happened to be willing and the quickest to take charge in a situation where the leader wasn’t there. Their powers consist of pyrokinesis, tolerance to higher temperatures, and being practically impossible to blind.
The Diplomat; The third addition, tended to be the voice of reason in arguments within the group. The one to come up with comprises. Their powers consist of illusions and binding words.
The Medic/Healer; Brought in by The Diplomat because all great teams need a medic. They aren’t only good at healing though, so best not to anger them. Their powers consist of healing, seeing auras, and extremely steady hands.
The Inventor; Ah, yes. The one that just showed up once and decided to stick around. Don’t think that that means they aren’t as valuable though, they proved themselves plenty. Their powers consist of visualization, enchanting of inventions, and enhanced intelligence/engineering.
The Traveler; This one has wanderlust buried deep in their bones, and was always on the move before. When they realized their once homeland kingdom was in danger, they decided to recruit people to help. Their powers consist of musical persuasion/enchantment and captivating voice.
The Skeptic/Grouch; This one honestly didn’t want to join at first, not believing any of it for a second. They eventually gave in though and decided to help. Their powers consist of telekinesis, enhanced reflexes/strength.
The Mentor; This one has experience in this business, and was brought in by The Skeptic for this reason. They know each other from that stuff already. Their powers consist of telepathy, slowing down time, and flight.
The Ranger/Weakling; Brought in by The Mentor, this one is the youngest. But that doesn’t mean anything, they’re just as capable, spending most of their free time before all of this hunting and tracking. Their powers consist of acute spatial awareness, pattern sense, enhanced senses/speed/aim, and psychometry.
The Turncoat; The tenth and final addition to our band of heroes. Their powers certainly aren’t as flashy as most of our crew, but don’t underestimate them due to this. Their powers consist of being able to tell when people are lying, drop body temperatures, invisibility, and darkvision.
She has a rare condition called Heterochromia iridis, which makes your eyes two different colors. One of her eyes is dark, ocean blue, and the other is emerald green.
To go along with this, her hair is bright ginger, falling just past her shoulders. Her skin is very pale with a splash of freckles across her nose and cheeks.
Her face is round and her cheeks dimple when she smiles. The rest of her body is also a bit round, and she is still slightly overweight, though not worryingly so, this is mostly because, although she acts energetically a lot, she doesn't actually enjoy physical activities too much, and she'd choose sitting and reading a book over walking or jogging any day.
She's average height, 5'3" exactly.
Esta also has a small scar on her palm from when she burned herself helping her grandmother cook when she was five. She also has several scars on her wrists and arms from self-harm. In order to cover these scars, she is seen with an oversized sweatshirt more often than not, and she generally wears sweatpants or jeans under this as well as some torn-up sneakers.
All in all, Esta isn't a very intimidating-looking person, or very common-looking.
Esta is a very happy person in general, at least on the outside. She loves physical contact like hugs and cuddles, and she loves talking to people. Her favorite thing to do in her spare time is sit in a corner of her little library with a book in her hands. If she's not doing that then you can either find her riding her horse, Lemon, through the forest, or hanging out with her little group of friends out at the park.
Esta is someone that trusts far too easily, always trying to look on the bright side of things despite her knowledge of how dark the world can be. Heck, you could ask her for her ID or passport and she'd give it to you in a second with a bright smile and a 'Sure you can borrow it, just please get it back to me soon!' Yeah, way too trusting.
Star is a very helpful person, always quick to step in anytime she sees anyone struggling. She's the type of person that says she'll take a bullet for you and then actually do it, she's also very good at reading emotion and can identify any negative feeling very quickly, next thing you know, she's by your side offering hugs, cuddles, or some sort of fun activity to make you forget it all.
Now onto how she actually feels about herself. Although Esta is generally a very open and honest person, she does struggle with self-esteem issues, she's so scared of losing people that she'll do anything to keep them close, even if she gets hurt in the process.
Her need to make people like her led Esta to force herself to throw up anything she eats or to eat nothing at all. This started around the time she turned twelve, some 'friends' started making fun of her body, at the time she was slightly overweight, but not too much so, and of course, they didn't have any excuse for body-shaming other than to make poor Star feel bad.
Although she is an energetic person in front of others, always ready to go, she is actually battling exhaustion and sadness as well as fatigue.
All in all, she is very pleasant to be around but has a few secrets.
- Most animals
- Being helpful
- Loud noises
- The dark
- Her kindness
- Very trustworthy
- Also her honesty
- Far too trusting
- Her fears
- She has no physical strength... like none
- Loud noises
- Seeing others hurt
Being alone is definitely Esta's worst fear. She hates being pushed away and left out so she'll do everything in her power to make people like her so that she doesn't get left behind.
Depression and an eating disorder
Esta's voice is very light, in a way, it's clear and easily understandable. It's higher in pitch and is rather staccato, putting space between each word to make everything easier to distinguish. She's also a typically louder person, though she can be quiet when she needs to be. When she gets excited, her pitch raises, and her speech speeds up, making her usually staccato voice flow together in a less understandable way.
Pretty, but not super legible. She typically writes in cursive and her letters tend to be long and loopy, making it hard to tell exactly what she wrote out, especially when she writes quickly. Typical doctors handwriting, honestly.

Agni, Arrow, whatever anyone else comes up with
Agnar is short and slim for his age, only 180 pounds 5'6". He has a more feminine build and an hourglass-shaped body with a thin waist, broad shoulders, strong arms, and curved hips. His eyes are light brown and almond-shaped, often holding a determined but tired gleam. His face is triangular with a slightly pointed chin and nose.
His hair is black and cropped close to his head on the sides. Agnar makes sure that his hair is never in his face, if it got in his eyes it could mess up a shot. He's well-muscled in his arms from drawing back a longbow and well-muscled in his legs from running.
His skin is light brown and covered in several small scars, mostly on his arms and legs from training accidents. Agnar wears athletic clothing the majority of the time. Something light and breathable, usually either black sweatpants or leggings and a tank top with a light jacket or a T-shirt. He wears a long leather bracelet on his left arm in case he has to use his bow and doesn't have time to put on an armguard. It's not flashy, just some simple beads on the top and completely blank on the bottom, but it does its job.
Agnar doesn't have any tattoos, but he does have his ears pierced. He can often be seen with a simple, lightweight, silver feather earring in one ear, and a black or dark purple stud in the other.
Typically, Agnar tries to be positive, always doing his best to look on the good side of everything, he'll joke around to lighten the mood when he sees others are upset and is always prepared with a smile.
At the same time, though, Agni can be very serious and stubborn. When he sets his mind to something or believes in something strongly, he won't let it go. That is his belief. Try to take that away from him and you won't ever hear the end of it. He has a strong sense of who he is, and though he doesn't always necessarily like that person, he understands his limits and strengths, that makes him a dangerous enemy and a confident but humble friend. Agnar is also affected by the emotions of those around him, he's easily brought down emotionally if the people around him all tug him down. He tries to stay optimistic, but it's not the most natural thing for him.
Agnar is fully aware that he's the youngest in the group, and, because of that, is determined to prove himself to others. He hates the idea of being overlooked or ignored, it scares him. He doesn't want to be left behind. Because of this fear, he has created a work ethic that pushes his limits and makes him stronger. He's constantly training and working on himself to get better, never giving up. Agnar may be young, but he's persistent and, in turn, dangerous.
Along with being confident, though, Agnar pushes himself to his limits and past them far too much to be healthy. He's constantly exhausted and often hurt, but he's never satisfied with what he's done, he always feels like he has to do more, otherwise, he's failing.
Even if he's not great at close contact fighting, Agnar's speed and accuracy with bows and arrows, knives, and spears, all but makes up for it. He's quick on his feet with extraordinary balance and is always fully aware of his surroundings, making him hard to catch and harder to escape in a long-range fight.
Onto how he interacts with others, Agnar can seem childishly stubborn at times, especially in an argument over something he cares about, but in general, he's a hard person to hate. He's kind and respectful and always tries to keep people happy. He'll go out of the way to help others and it's not often that he fails to do something he's asked to do by one of the others.
In other words, he's stubborn, but reliable and determined.
- Talking with friends
- Nature (Especially animals)
- Being alone
- People who put him down
- Being friendly
- Hand-to-hand combat
- Hiding emotions
- Easily brought down
- Tends to act before thinking
Letting himself and others down. It's really quite simple, Angar seeks approval from those he cares about, and if he fails to make them proud he fears they will leave him behind or be angry or disappointed with him.
Anxiety, Work addiction, or workaholism
Angar has a brighter voice and typically speaks a little loudly, he tends to draw out continents like 'N' and 'M' just a little longer than needed. His words are easy to understand, though not staccato. His tone is warm but not always considered soft, more so just knowledgeable.
Angar's handwriting is legible, but not the neatest. It often consists of rounded letters pact closely together, occasionally running into each other. It honestly looks like a third grader wrote it sometimes, but at least it's not so sloppy that you have no idea what he's saying.

Karma has a diamond-shaped face with almond-shaped eyes that are a mysterious, dark blue color. Their skin is pale and rough from years of traveling and living outdoors. Their lips are thin and in a neutral or slightly downturned position the majority of the time, and they have a kind of nervous look to them, standing with slightly slouched posture and guarded eyes. Their hair is black, shoulder-length, and constantly messy and knotted, it's often pulled back into a ponytail with a single strand left out by their cheek.
Karma is small, standing at 5'10'' and weighing 110 lbs. Their shoulders are slim and hidden by a brown, woolen cloak the majority of the time, they have a skinny, triangular build with sharp features, a pointed nose, arched eyebrows, and hands with long fingers and lots of scars. They're so small that their legs seem to make up half of their body (spider child-).
Karma's typical outfit is simple, a long-sleeved cotton shirt and normal blue jeans that are worn at the knees, cheap running shoes, and their black sweatshirt that looks like it's been dragged through the forest several times over (which it has-). They are also accompanied by dirt or dust more often than not, a smudge on their cheek or nose, and staining their shirt.
Karma's a complicated figure that not many people know well, and, honestly, not a lot of people like them right off the bat, they get very fidgety around people and have a bad habit of speaking before thinking, most of the time making rude or uncalled for comments towards the people around them. The truth is, this is a defense mechanism that Karma has developed over time, pushing people away and snapping when they get too close. It's unintentional for the most part, but still a self-preservation tactic. If people are scared of you or dislike you they won't get close, 'the less you have in the first place, the less you have to lose.'
Truth be told, Karma's really a soft-hearted person beneath the defensive wall that they've built around themself. They care about others well -being and have a soft spot for animals, and, if you manage to get close to them somehow they become very protective around you and may even show you their hidden side, their enjoyment of music and reading, their passion for discovery, and their ideas and perspective. Once Karma finds something they're passionate about they can talk about it for hours nonstop and have trouble focusing on anything else.
Karma doesn't do well in big crowds or bright places, as they're easily overstimulated and struggle with communicating clearly and maintaining eye contact, this is also why they don't have many friends, they don't maintain or create relationships well because of a mixture of anxiety and communication struggles. Still, they managed to maintain a few close friends, who they would do anything to help and protect. They aren't a bad person in the slightest, just not too good with people.
- The dark
- Singing, surprisingly
- Physical strength
- Social Awkwardness
Karma's voice is quiet and a little raspy, almost as though it's strained. Their tone is shakey and can be on the shrill side, though not to an unpleasant extent. They speak in a staccato way that sometimes sounds like they've split their words apart, they'll unintentionally draw out an 'S' sound sometimes, especially when they're thinking.
Karma's handwriting is very neat and is actually pretty steady the majority of the time. Their letters tend to be sharp rather than curvy, their 'V's and 'A's being very obvious. Similar to the standard font 'Times New Roman,' actually.
Isabella is very beautiful, with dark brown, almost black hair that she's added blonde highlights to, it falls down just past her shoulders and is slightly wavy. When she's running or training she often has it up in a ponytail.
Isa's face is rounded with a small nose and rounded bright blue eyes. She has an hourglass-shaped body and often wears dark colors like black, gray, or dark purple, or blue. She is almost always seen in black cargo pants, a long-sleeved black shirt with a leather jacket over it, and short, black army boots. Yeah, definite boss girl vibes.
She's slightly taller than average at 5'9" and average weight at 143 pounds.
Bella isn't a big fan of jewelry, but she does wear a light silver chain around her neck with a golden rose charm on the end, it's often tucked into her shirt. She has a few tattoos, one on her right wrist is the word 'Endure' in cursive letters, one on her left ankle is a simple vine looping up around her thigh, and finally, she has one on her collar bone that's a bird flying out of a cage.
Her skin is light but not pale, and mostly smooth. She does have a scar on her back, stretching from her right shoulder blade to her hip... She claims it happened in a training accident. Isabella often looks serious, but when she does smile it makes her whole face light up, she has dimples on both cheeks, though she doesn't like them herself.
Isabella is probably one of the most confident people you'll ever meet, she's got a strong sense of herself and expects people to listen when she speaks up. She's not afraid of a fight and has a tendency to get hot-headed when someone accuses her of something or makes fun of her or her friends. Isa's the type of person that walks into a room and everyone knows it... Immediately. She demands attention without saying anything.
Despite being overly confident and maybe a little loud, Isabella is a kind person at heart, she's never afraid to stick up for the smaller person and you won't ever lay a finger on her friends without her hunting you down. She's protective and sassy with those she cares about, not afraid to make a joke or play fight. Isa likes being in control, but if you earn her respect she's willing to listen to you.
Even in a fight, Isabella is all for fairness, if she's going to do her best, she expects you to do the same, even if your best isn't that great. She'll never judge anyone for being weak or making a mistake, but she will call you out if she thinks that you can do better than you are currently. Because of this, people may find Bella annoying or harsh when they first meet her and she calls them out, but once they get to know her it's hard not to respect her, even if you don't necessarily like her.
Isabella is strong both in her heart and physically, she is great at hand-to-hand combat and loves a challenge. She has experience with most weapons, though has chosen a knife as her preferred weapon. She's brave and can be reckless, especially when someone she cares about is in danger. She won't hesitate to put her own life in danger for the sake of others.
- Arguing (respectfully)

- Warm environments
- Spicy foods
- Also chocolate
- The cold
- The dark
- Fighting (Hand-to-hand)
- Overly confident
- Can be loud
- Hot-headed at times
- Not a great listener all the time
- When people disrespect her/her friends
- People who try to hold her back
Losing control. Of herself mainly, and the things around. She doesn't want to hurt the people around her, and she's fully aware that she can be temperamental.
Isabella's voice is one similar to that of a military commanders, loud and straightforward, it demands attention and respect. She speaks in shortened, easily understandable phrases more often than not.
Isa's handwriting is neat and dark, she tends to press down a little too hard on the paper when she writes, sometimes printing her letters on the surface underneath the paper even. She has curved letters and sometimes doesn't fully close her 'O's or lowercase 'A's. She's also the kind of person that draws mini 'o's above her 'I's. Her letters are big but legible.

Anything you can come with, he really doesn't mind
Ambrose is a handsome face, though he doesn't consider himself to be. He has pretty green eyes that are almond-shaped, lightly tanned skin, and floppy caramel hair that falls into his eyes more often than not. His face is heart-shaped and his lips are slightly downturned, giving him a slightly sad appearance.
He's average height and weight, 6'0" and 198 pounds.
He has a rectangular build and well-mucelled arms and legs. Ambrose typically wears brighter colors like orange, blue, yellow, and red, dressing in comfortable but stylish clothing. Often black jeans and a colorful sweatshirt over a solid-colored T-shirt and sneakers. He almost always has his guitar case with him, slung over his shoulder when not in use. He doesn't wear any jewelry or have any tattoos, but he'll occasionally wear a hat or beanie if it's colder out.
Ambrose always seems to have an aura that just draws people to him, a warm smile and bright, thoughtful eyes. He just looks kind.
The first thing about Ambrose that is easily noticeable is his kind nature. He's shy when he first meets someone, but he's openly caring, always willing to help the people he sees in need. He's not a super talkative person, even when you get to know him, but he knows how to make people smile.
Along with his kindness, his voice is easily noticeable, Ambrose is almost always singing, he knows how to play dozens of instruments already (including guitar, piano, ukelele, violin, and flute), and is always happy to learn more. He's a naturally gifted person in this sense, and if you're around him for very long you'll definitely hear some kind of performance.
Ambrose is a very curious person, he's interested in other cultures, foods, and places in general. He likes figuring places out and finding new things. Exploring is fun to him, and because of his gentleness and talent, he's almost always welcome to visit.
Ambrose has a dangerous side too, though it's rarely seen. If his friends are threatened, Ambrose will fight for them, though he'll do it in such a clever the enemy probably won't realize what's happening. Ambrose's strength is in his intelligence, he's smart and quick to come up with plans. The more time he has, the better. He believes there's always a solution, you just have to look hard enough.
He's quiet and more laidback most of the time, and, though he's shy at first, he never forgets a face that he's befriended. Ambrose is the type of person that can be out of contact with someone for years, then see them again and act like they were never apart at all, easily remembering what made that person happy and working to please them. In other words, he probably doesn't have too many enemies.
- Tight spaces
- Loud noises
- Musical talent
- Physical strength (He's a decent fighter, but he isn't a great one)
- He's shy
- Dancing (He may sing well, but he's probably gonna trip over himself if he's asked to dance)
He doesn't hate much, mostly just people hating on each other, so like homophobia, racism, transphobia, ext.
He hates hate-
Claustrophobia: Fear of tight spaces/being confined
Tonitotrophobia: Fear of thunder
Anxiety, Depression, developing derealization
Ambrose's voice is beautiful and smooth, almost hypnotizing. He speaks softly and calmly most of the time, and his words flow smoothly together. Once he finds a pattern, he'll cling to it, but his speech tends to vary depending on who he's talking to.
Ambrose's handwriting is light and pretty, think of it as similar to the ‘Handlee’ font. Easy to make out, smooth, and appealing to the eye.

Amel stands rather tall at 6’ 6”, though he sometimes seems 6’ 7” due to how proud his posture is. His skin tone is an olive color with neutral undertones. He has plenty of freckles too, covering practically every inch of his darker skin. His body structure could quickly be described as rectangular. Everything about his structure screams that he’s more so built for muscle than agility. He weighs a good 180, with his BMI at 20.80.
Amel has a square face shape, meaning he has a strong jawline. Now for the nose, he has an aquiline shaped nose, meaning it’s basically the stereotypical normal nose. His lips are naturally pointy in shape. His eyebrows are rather thick, with a very obvious arch. Finally, his eyes are a deepset almond shape and are a brown color. His face is framed by curly, dyed lavender hair. The roots are black and natural. It goes down to the nape of his neck and is usually in a faux hawk style.
For scars… Amel has a few that are rather well hidden. Mostly just a few at his shoulder and arms. He doesn’t really show them to anyone nor does he have any intention to do so. For clothing, Amel practically always wears a black shirt, orange jacket, and gray cargo pants. As for shoes, he uses orange hiking shoes.
At first glance Amel looks like he’s sizing you up. Mostly due to the fact that he is, because that’s how he tends to operate himself. Assess people and decide whether they’re friend or foe or something in between.
Perhaps one reason he became the leader of the group was because he was naturally brave and charismatic. He was able to win over a crowd with words and then have the courage to try and make sure what he said came true. He’s not afraid to take a risk, so long as it’s a calculated one that seems reasonable. Which he isn’t half bad of deciding on. He’s smart enough to know when the risk outweighs the result.
Another thing about him is that he’s alert and observant enough to keep track of who is coming in and out of a busy room with ease. Able to tell when something is off, and able to use it to his advantage in a timely manner.
Less ideal is his capacity for lying. If he believes there's a good reason behind it, he’ll lie to anyone and everyone he has to. Including his team. And he’s cunning enough to get away with it too most of the time. And anytime he doesn't, he’s still intimidating enough to silence those that could tell. Perhaps worst of all though, is that he’s very two-faced due to this.
Likes: Telling people what to do, Being listened to, Compliments, Adventure, Action, Risks, Adrenaline.
Dislikes: Being told what to do, Being ignored, Insults, Boredom, People, Listening, Overly happy/sad people.
Mel’s voice is deep and smooth, low and captivating. The stereotypical voice of a charming, charismatic love interest. He’s definitely more on the rude side though, and his voice is definitely capable of going even lower when upset. He doesn’t seem to have any sort of accent either.
Handwriting: His handwriting is… Interesting, to say the least. Even if he’s hurriedly writing, it’s still legible and practically perfect cursive. And when he’s not hurrying? His penmanship is truly aweing then.

Name: Salen Frez.
Birthday: May 19th. (Taurus-Gemini.)
Blood Type: B-.
Alignment: Lawful Good.
Salen stands rather average at 5' 11”, though she sometimes seems 6’ 0” due to how correct her posture is. Her skin tone is a fair color with warmer undertones. She has plenty of freckles on her cheeks, though not many elsewhere.
Salen has a heart face shape, meaning she has a smaller chin, the middle of her face larger, and the whole thing on the longer side. Now for the nose, she has a duchess shaped nose, meaning it’s basically the stereotypical normal nose. Her lips are fuller in shape.
Her eyebrows are rather average in thickness, with a less obvious arch. Finally, her eyes are an upturned monolid shape and are a light brown color. Her face is framed by dyed rose pink hair and it has a slight wave to it as well. It goes down to her shoulders whenever it’s down. Usually though, her hair is up in a ponytail.
Her body structure could quickly be described as rectangular. Everything about her structure screams that she’s more so built for agility than muscle. She weighs a good 140, with her BMI at 19.52. For scars… Salen has only one that she hides without really trying to do so. It’s simply a scar that goes from her rib cage to her hips.
For clothing, Salen practically always wears a white button-up shirt and black pants. She also wears a black jacket most of the time. As for shoes, she wears black and white sneakers. She also wears a silver necklace with a charoite gem as the pendant.
At first glance, she certainly looks charming. The type of person you look at and assume has their life together. Whatever that entails to you. She seems composed but approachable. She looks professional.
She is very well educated, and has in-depth knowledge on an array of subjects. Even better, she’s persuasive and charismatic when getting points across, able to turn a whole room to her favor in a matter of minutes. And she’s definitely one to keep a promise. She’s also modest though, and never takes full credit for anything.
To say she has a lot of energy would be an understatement. She’s fast and loud and upfront about most everything. She’ll rarely ever lie and it’s even rarer to see her sleeping. At all. She’s always working, always pushing, always helping. And almost no one is able to stop her, not because she’s stubborn… But because she’s assertive and can make people listen to her when she believes something with her entire being.
She’s also a peace-keeper, always trying to keep everyone from fighting and arguing, as there isn’t really a point to doing so. Not one she sees. In order to do this more efficiently, she has regulated her emotions a bit more than she should’ve but everything’s well that ends with nobody fighting each other. That’s how she sees it at least.
Likes: Reading, Writing, Helping, Music, Playing Viola, Baking, Outings.
Weaknesses: Being Open About Emotions, Close/Deep Conversations, Physical Strength.
Hates: Hearing people argue and fight. Conflict in general, if she were being honest.
Mental; PTSD, Workaholic.
Salen’s voice is smooth and elegant, like velvet. She can bring in a crowd simply by projecting it to be heard. It’s how she’s made such a name for herself, her voice and her knowledge. She can practically hypnotize people with her voice.
Handwriting: Her handwriting, as one would expect, is messy to the point it’s beautiful. Somehow it’s completely legible, though it probably shouldn’t be.
Themesong(s): Feel free to recommend some.
|~| Illon |~|
Name: Illon Elatos.
Birthday: July 21st. (Cancer-Leo.)
Blood Type: O+.
Sexuality: Asexual Demiromantic.
Alignment: Chaotic Good.
Illon stands rather average at 5' 7”, though they sometimes seem 5’ 5” due to how slouched their posture is. Their skin tone is a pale color with sickly cool undertones. They have practically no freckles too, which doesn’t exactly help them seem healthier.
Illon has a diamond face shape, meaning they have a smaller forehead and a smaller sharp chin, the middle of their face larger, the whole thing on the more sunken side. Now for the nose, they have a hawk shaped nose, meaning it starts the way the stereotypical normal nose would but then dips down a bit too much. Their lips are downturned thin in shape.
Their eyebrows are rather thin, with practically no arch at all. Finally, their eyes are a downturned deepset hooded shape and are a gray blue color. Their face is framed by thin black hair that sticks to them for the most part. It goes down to the nape of their neck at the back, and the sides are cut short.
Their body structure could quickly be described as rectangular. Everything about their structure screams that they’re more so built for agility than muscle, if that even. They’re much better suited for inside jobs, in all honesty. They weigh in at 110, with their BMI at 17.23, underweight by 10 pounds.
For scars… Illon has a few that they don’t even try to hide. One that goes from the outer corner of their right eye across their right ear and to right below their hair at their neck. Some burn scars that go up their left arm and to their shoulder. A few at their legs from a particularly nasty crash. A small one at their right eyebrow that they still notice amongst everything else. A scar going down the middle of their chest all the way to their waist. And who could forget about the numerous scars from an electric rod at their torso, with matching ones at their neck and collarbone? And finally, the reason for their mask, so many scars littering their jaw and lower face that anyone that saw it would think they’re disfigured. And as if these weren’t enough, they have plenty on their back, ankles, and wrists too. They don’t talk about these, even if asked.
For clothing, Illon practically always wears a white shirt, red bomber jacket, and black cargo pants. As for shoes, they wear black combat boots. Lastly, their mask, made by them for them. It covers their entire lower face completely, from right below their nose to the middle of their neck. The mask is a mahogany red color.
At first glance they look like they’re planning to blow something up. Not on purpose of course, they just tend to give off that vibe. Most of their inventions actually end up working, thank you. Of course, that doesn’t exactly matter to random strangers who see them on the street.
Let’s start with the good things that Illon can actually feel proud of. Their intellect is certainly one, as they do realize they’re rather clever. After all, you cannot be an inventor if you can’t do math, or science. And especially if you aren’t creative, which they luckily are. They’re extremely creative in fact, able to figure out stuff to make with only minutes to go and little to use.
They’re also rather analytical, which is almost a surprise, given how all over the place they are as well. But they are good at analyzing a situation and deciding how to continue… Usually. They also tend to overthink though, and second guess themselves until they force themself to give up due to not knowing what to do.
Probably worst of all, they’re very socially maladjusted. They’re simply the worst at communication. Never truly knowing what to say, how to say it, or when to say it. Or if they even should say it. They usually decided not to, since if they do then they run the risk of being outcasted. And despite everything, despite all odds, they’re a very outgoing and extroverted person. Even as they’re paranoid that everyone is out to hurt them and use their words against them.
They also have no care in the world for their well-being and they don’t even try to hide the fact. They’ll rush into danger without a second thought, usually with them ending up with mild to severe injuries. Still doesn’t stop them from doing it again though, never has and probably never will. Some people see this as foolish, some see it as brave, some see it as suicidal tendencies shining through. Who is Illon to deny any of these views?
Illon’s voice is high pitched and scratchy, hoarse from years of disuse and scratchy from them starting to use it more often. They also have a slight accent where they never fully pronounce the letter G and all of the sharp continents end up duller than they should be. These things aren’t even caused by heritage, they just don’t speak much nowadays. And they spoke even less before they met the group, so they don’t really remember all of the pronunciation and diction rules anymore.
Handwriting: Now then, compared to their voice? Their penmanship is a work of art. Their grammar and spelling is top notch and their writing completely legible. Only it isn’t, because they don’t write much either. So they’re basically useless on this front too. Though their spelling is good.
Themesong(s): Feel free to recommend some more, as I really only have one.

|~| Eni |~|
Name: Eni Vizin.
Birthday: January 18th. (Capricorn-Aquarius.)
Blood Type: AB.
Alignment: Neutral Good.
Eni stands rather tall at 6’ 4”, though they sometimes seem 6’ 3” due to how relaxed their posture is. Their skin tone is an espresso color with warm undertones. They have no freckles that can be seen, except for when they’re in a certain lighting.
Eni has a diamond face shape, meaning they have a smaller forehead and a smaller sharp chin, the middle of their face larger, the whole thing on the longer side. Now for the nose, they have a greek shaped nose, meaning it’s basically the way the stereotypical nose would be, only straighter. Their lips are natural in shape.
Their eyebrows are average in thickness, except for their right one which is thinner, with practically no arch at all. Finally, their eyes are a close set almond shape and are a sky blue in color. Their face is framed by thick black hair that curls in some places, it’s dyed blonde at the tips. It goes down to the nape of their neck at the back, and the sides are cut short into a mohawk.
Their body structure could quickly be described as rectangular. Everything about their structure screams that they’re more so built for flight than muscle. They weigh in at 165, with their BMI at a healthy 20.08. Though most of that weight is in their wings. Oh right, their wings. They also have wings that are pure white, and very large in every way.
For scars… Eni has a few at their back from where their wings first grew in at. Other than those though, they also have one on their face where it goes from the right side of their forehead to the left of their chin. Luckily enough, they wear glasses anyways due to being farsighted.
For clothing, Eni practically always wears a white sweater, light gray coat, and white pants. As for shoes, they wear white and light gray ugg boots. They also usually wear a light gray scarf too.
At first glance they look like they have everything under control. Like someone who has their life together. And in some ways? They do. But that doesn’t mean they have everything figured out, even if they wished they did.
Eni is supportive and alert, seemingly always knowing what to do and being able to cheer people up with ease. Except for when they aren’t able to, which truly does get to them. They want to be able to help, and they enjoy teaching. They’re mature and able to help in most situations, usually able to read a room to decide the best courses of action.
Luckily enough, they’re also patient. They don’t get upset easily, and can usually keep a level head in most situations. They don’t stoop to insults, or yelling, or shouting. They don’t see the point. After all, when has any of that stuff ever helped anyone? Never.
Of course, they have their flaws too. Like how despite everything, they’re quick to jump to conclusions and tend to think they know better than everyone as the eldest. Of course, they never mean to do this, it’s more of a subconscious thing. But it still happens.
Likes: Music, Teaching, Flying, Good Food, People, Stars, Good Weather.
Dislikes: Confined Places, Bad Weather, Being Stuck Indoors, Reading(Only Because Of Their Eyesight), Crowds, Air Pollution, Bright Lights.
Strengths: Singing, Flying, Patient.
Weaknesses: Physical Strength, Small Spaces(Their Wings Dude), Their Eyesight.
Hates: Not being able to fly! Seriously, what’s the point of having wings if they can’t even use them?
Physical; Bad eyesight?
Mental; None, actually. Except for some mild PTSD.
Their voice is slightly higher pitched, though not by much. It’s also clear and projectable, able to fill a room with ease and able to quiet one with ease. A soft voice that still demands attention. But what’s truly surprising is that Eni’s actually a great singer too, though mostly when humming if they’re being honest.
Handwriting: Their handwriting is basically the equivalent of teacher handwriting. Messy and yet legible handwriting to where it looks normal. Their cursive and print practically look exactly the same too.
Themesong(s): No idea, feel free to recommend some though.
|~| Blair |~|
Name: Agris Bairugih.
Birthday: November 20th. (Scorpio Sagittarius.)
Blood Type: O-.
Alignment: Lawful Neutral.
Blair stands rather average at 5' 7”, though he sometimes seems 5’ 6” due to how slouched his posture is. His skin tone is a bisque color with neutral undertones. He has plenty of freckles too, which at least add some color to his light skin.
Blair has a diamond face shape, meaning he has a smaller forehead and a smaller sharp chin, the middle of his face larger, the whole thing on the longer defined side. Now for the nose, he has an aquiline shaped nose, meaning it’s basically the stereotypical normal nose. His lips are thinner in shape.
His eyebrows are rather thin, with a less obvious arch. Finally, his eyes are a downturned protruding hooded shape and are a forest green color. His face is framed by fiery red hair and it has a slight poof to it as well. It goes down to the middle of his back when it’s down. Usually though, his hair is up into a loose ponytail or low man bun.
His body structure could quickly be described as rectangular. Everything about his structure screams that he’s more so built for agility than muscle. He weighs in at 115, with his BMI at 18.01, underweight by 5 pounds.
For scars… Blair has a few that are rather well hidden. A few on his back, a few on his shoulders, and a few at his sides. He doesn’t really show them to anyone nor does he have any intention to do so ever.
He also has quite a few tattoos, one he once shared with all the members of his past group. This one is on his neck as a viper. Other than that one, he also has a rose vine tattoo going up his right arm and an hourglass tattoo at his left forearm. On his left shoulder is a clock tattoo. And recently he’s gotten five new tattoos for his left hand. The letter C at his pinky, L at his ring finger, J on the thumb, R on the pointer, and S on the middle.
For clothing, Blair practically always wears a white shirt and black cargo pants. He also wears a belted, vented trench coat, the color being black. It goes down to just above his knees. As for shoes, he wears black hunting boots.
This man has a lobe piercing on each ear and he wears small earrings, ones that wouldn’t get stuck on anything. He also has a viper bite piercing too. As for other types of accessories, he has two rings that he wears on either middle finger. One ring has a band that looks like vines with a singular red gem at the middle, entwined in the gold band so that it doesn’t come out. The other is longer and wraps around his finger multiple times, it looks like a snake. And technically not an accessory but he does always have it on his person nowadays, a flask which he keeps in an inner pocket of his trench coat.
At first glance he looks shady, the kind of person you would’ve seen in an alleyway at night for reasons unknown to most other people.
The first thing someone should know about this man is that he is hard to catch off guard. He has the sort of air about him that he always knows what everyone and everything is doing, even if he doesn’t. He’s usually calm and collected, being able to think in high pressure situations in order to stay alive. Which is another thing, his self-preservation seems to outweigh his morals which can cause his plans to only help him when he might’ve been able to help others too. But he’s independent and values being able to do what needs to be done without worry of how it affects others.
On the note of what has to be done and planning… He never actually goes through with an underdeveloped plan, there’s too many risks involved in his opinion. Risk is one thing that he deals with poorly, if he believes the risk of failure is too high then his self-preservation tends to kick in, regardless of whether or not the risk is actually that high. This is something that doesn’t only apply to plans to dangerous things though, if he believes a conversation or emotional/personal bond with someone is too risky, then he hightails it out of that too. For that reason, he doesn’t actually have that good of relations with anyone he meets.
Despite his risk factoring though, if there’s something going on and he has a plan that he believes will work then he becomes extremely determined to make sure it happens. Willing to take as many risks as needed to make sure he actually gets to go through with his plan. He’ll call people out, lie, cheat, steal, perhaps even kill if it means his plan is able to go on without a hitch. Of course though, his carefulness is still a thing and he tends not to share anything except for the bare necessities.
And that is where things take a turn for the worst. Due to his self-preservation, apparent lack of morals, and social skills that leave him alone and others in the dark… He’s become rather distant, disconnected from others and the things that happen to them. Empathy and sympathy have evaded him almost completely. For those he finds himself getting attached to, he tries to distance himself from them due to the risks of getting too close during times like these.
Likes: Reading, Control, Good weather, Sleep, Being aware, Probability problems, Food, Being prepared, Planning, and Staying alive.
Dislikes: Conversation, Risk, Blind trust, Trust exercises, Getting close to people, Emotions, Nice people, Loud noises, Bright lights, and Most people.
Fears/Phobias: Eisoptrophobia. He is not a fan of mirrors, to put it lightly. Or seeing his reflection in general.
Physical; Situational Asthma.
Mental; C-PTSD, Depression, Eating Disorders.
Addictions; Smoking and Alcohol.
Both/Left/Right-Handed: Both, predominantly left.
His voice constantly sounds hoarse and rough, even if he’d had something to drink right before speaking. It’s not even exactly low or high in pitch either, or deep. When it comes to speech patterns though, he does tend to use a lot more slang than the average person. As for accents, he doesn’t usually seem to have one, but sometimes he doesn’t fully sound H words or D at the end of a word sounds like a T, or the TH sound ends up sounding like a D or S, or A and O get switched, or V and Z end up as F or S, or B at the end of words end up sounding like a P, or G at the end of words sounds like K, or P ends up sounding like a B at the start of words with the same thing happening with T sounding like D at the start of words. Luckily, these things only happen sometimes and usually never all at once. These patterns aren’t even from his own heritage, just patterns he picked up within his lifetime.
Handwriting: Everything is a skewed version of cursive where the letters bleed into one another but still almost look like print. Every letter is a little too sharp, a little too dull, a little too fast, a little too big, a little too small. Surprisingly enough though, his handwriting is still eligible like this.

Isabella Finley / 25 / Female / Bisexual / Second / M: All

Esta smiled softly to herself as she sat in front of the fire. She was making dinner for the group, as she often did. Of course, she didn't eat much herself, but she was always glad to make the others happy. Some of the group, like Karma, had already disappeared into their tents, and others were mingling around the fire at the center of the camp, or out double-checking the perimeter.
Ambrose was leaning against a nearby tree, gently strumming on his guitar while humming a soft tune. The quiet noise was comforting, calm after the storm a few days ago. He did this often, Esta had noticed, more often now than she thought he had before. Even as he was humming and playing his guitar he had a distant look in his eyes, like he wasn't actually seeing his surroundings, but rather a make-believe place, or maybe the past. Esta just hoped it was good, whatever it was.
She jumped suddenly when she felt someone place an elbow on her shoulder. It was Isabella. Of course, it was Isabella.
The second in command was holding an apple in one hand while she leaned casually on Esta's shoulder.
"You scared me!" Esta complained, and Bella smirked.
"You're terrible," Esta stated, lightly swatting Isabella's hand away. The other girl snickered and took a bite of her apple, standing up straight again and watching Esta with an amused gaze. "And put that apple away, you won't be hungry by the time the food's done!"
"Star, I'm eating because I am hungry, and don't ever think I'd pass up your food, it's the best." She took another bite. "Besides," She added, mouth still half-full. "An apple away keeps the doctor away!"
Esta rolled her eyes dramatically. "That's a myth!"
"Nuh-uh," Bella said, waving the partially eaten apple in Esta's face, causing her to squeal and stumble backward to avoid getting sticky with juice. "See? It works great!"
Esta wrinkled her nose. "See if I help you next time you sprain your ankle!" The red-headed girl stated, sticking her tongue out playfully. Isabella laughed.
"Sure, Esta, whatever you say." She looked up to the corner of the camp. "Welcome back, Agnar."
"Ah, come on!" The youngest member of the group emerged from the shadows, pouting at Isabella. "I was really quiet that time!"
"You waited a few seconds too long, don't hesitate next time."
"Yeah, alright. Well, everything looked clear to me! At least, I don't believe there are any Vipers."
"Any time!" Agnar grinned, then looked to Esta. "Smells great, as usual, Esta!"
"Why thank you, Agnar. At least someone appreciates it." She shot an accusing glare towards Isa, who smirked.
"Hey, I already complimented you."
"Sure, before swinging an apple in my face."
"It's called a joke, Esta."
Agnar smiled softly at Esta and Isabella's joking around. Things seemed to have calmed down a little since the battle, and Agnar was grateful for that. He still couldn't quite get over the fact that Eni had sided with Amel against getting Illon back, it honestly still hurt that his mentor and friend had gone against him in favor of leaving someone to die, but he hoped that, with time, the sting would ease and everything could just go back to normal. After all, Eni was just doing what they thought was right, even if it wasn't what Agnar thought was right. Maybe they could just push everything aside and be family again.
Taking a breath, the young ranger walked over to where Ambrose was strumming his guitar and silently slid down the tree next to him, closing his eyes and listening to the music as it flowed over him, relaxing his muscles and temporarily pausing the reeling in his head.
When he opened his eyes again, Ambrose was watching him with a faint, knowing smile. His fingers still strummed, but his humming had ceased as he watched his young friend. Agnar smiled back.
"Hello, Agnar. Are you doing well?" Ambrose's voice was soft and warm, and somehow it still seemed musical, even though he wasn't singing.
"Tired," Agnar admitted. "And you?"
"The same as usual, I suppose," Ambrose answered, his naturally sad eyes gleaming with kindness.
"Yeah. Well, your music is beautiful."
"Thank you, it is the one thing I can pride myself on."
Agnar grinned. "Oh, come on Ambrose, don't say that! Everyone loves you, even Amel's okay with you, and don't tell him I said this, but I'm pretty sure he hates everyone."
Ambrose let out a soft chuckle. "I'm not sure I would go that far, but thank you. I appreciate it."
"Any time," Agnar answered, leaning against the tree again and looking towards the fire where Esta and Isabella still seemed to be arguing good-naturedly. "It feels better now, I think." He said suddenly, causing Ambrose to look over again. "Now that it's over. I mean, I know people are still not, like, completely over the argument and all, but I think this feels better now. I haven't seen Bella so laidback in a while."
Ambrose dipped his head. "I guess it does." He replied, though he wasn't so sure himself. To him, everything felt like it had just started rather than just ended. Sure, it felt great to be done with the Vipers, but for the group? Well, the argument may have looked temporary, but Ambrose personally thought it was something much bigger than that. The group had not just had a little fight and then continued on, they had split apart. Once that happened, it was hard to truly bring everyone back together. After all, choosing a side meant you were also disowning one.
Karma sat silently in their tent, scribbling random, pointless words and pictures in their notebook. They were thoroughly upset still, mostly at themselves, and partially at everyone else. Why had they given into joining in the first place? Why were they still here?
No one liked them anyway, and one of the first things they'd done was vote towards leaving someone to die.
Wow, very lovable.
To be honest, Karma wasn't sure what to think anymore. On one hand, they felt bad, they regretted siding with Amel against Illon, but, at the same time, things may have been easier if they had just left them.
Would it matter either way?
The fight was over, but the remains of the argument were still in full display. Isabella and Amel were in a full-on silent war of strength, Ambrose seemed even more distant that usual, Agnar was still obviously not willing, or maybe not able, to fully let go of the fact the Eni had sided against Illon, and Esta was just ignoring everything and trying to keep everyone happy.
And Karma? Karma didn't know what to think anymore. They didn't know what to do.
In some ways, they regretted being here in the first place.
Eni Vizin | 27 | Non-Binary | Demisexual | Mentor | Mentions; All
Amel had decided to retire to his tent. Why? to plan, obviously. Why else? To sulk about the argument like some other person he knew? Ha! As if. He doesn’t regret wanting to leave Illon behind, they’ve barely helped at all.
What his plans were consisting of at the moment, was mostly a sketch of the route the group would take back to the city. He wanted it to take a while, for if his inside man decided to come out and play. Finish off Viper blood completely. Wipe them out. That’s what the group was doing here, wasn’t it? It was.
At the same time, it couldn’t take too long or the rest of the group could get suspicious. So… Ah, perfect. It’d be a bit roundabout, but nothing the group would notice. It was practically the same path they’d taken to get here. Which was completely fine by him. Plus, it’d place the group conveniently close to cliffs at some points.
Salen was sitting closer to the edge of their camp for tonight, decidedly humming to herself as she watched the trees. Eni stood close by their tent, keeping an eye on Agnar to make sure he wouldn’t get too close to the fire. Meanwhile, Illon was walking over to the now group of two.
Salen leaned back and tapped Eni’s inner kneecap. Eni looked down and over at her, giving a small nod in greeting before taking a seat next to her. “Yes, Salen?”
“I was just thinking about this. All of this. I’ve read books about heroes that go on quests, but they’ve never made them to be so hard. Plus, they never say what happens after… I was just wondering. What happens? Do we all go back to living a normal life, pretending this never happened?”
Eni hummed in thought before shrugging, “I’m afraid I don’t know. We have to get back to the city first, and then we’ll probably have to adjust back to living normally. Whether we ignore each other’s existence is entirely up to us, I suppose.”
Illon sat down next to Esta, on her right so that their good ear was the one closest to her. They weren’t sure why, but everyone had seemed much more antsy than before they’d been… Taken in… For… Questioning… Yeah.
Point is, they weren’t sure why. They began to open their mouth to speak, wincing slightly before deciding against it. It was fine. Of course it was. They should learn sign language, that’d make things easier. Right? Then again, everyone else would have to learn sign language then and they couldn’t ask that of the group. Besides, they were on their way back to the city now anyways. And given the choice, that didn’t involve danger for anyone, to not talk to them? They were pretty sure most of the group would choose not to. The only ones that may still talk to them are Esta, Eni, Isabella, and Agnar. But they have their own lives too, so they might not talk to them either.
Which was fine! They’d isolated themselves from the world for years before all of this! What was a bit more isolation? They could deal with it, especially if everyone else preferred it… Either way, they should probably greet Isabella and Esta, or the two might get annoyed. Well, Esta wouldn’t, but Isabella might.
Ignoring the sting of pain this time, they spoke with only a slight wince at the start. “Hey, what’re you two up to?” They ended up wincing again as they finished, they really weren’t looking forward to eating tonight… The past few days had been tense, with them only able to eat a few real meals. Not for lack of food, but the pain usually ended up being too much that they lost their appetite.
Salen glanced a look towards the fire, at Illon, and then looked back at Eni. “Why haven’t we told Illon about the argument, Eni? They deserve to know, don’t they?”
Eni looked away from Salen and into the trees, thinking for a moment before they looked back at her. “How would you feel if you were told that people wanted to leave you behind?”
Salen shrugged, “I suppose not very good. But that doesn’t give us an excuse to hide the fact from them.”
Eni sighed and then nodded, “Yes, it doesn’t. But, given how Illon is… It wouldn’t only be ‘not very good’ as you put it, but world shattering. The phrase ‘What you don’t know, can’t hurt you’ is a phrase for a reason. For situations like these, where the person has the right to know but knowing could lead to a complete… Break.”
“I know, I just hate lying to them about Amel, Karma, and you trying to leave them behind.” Salen stared at the stars, not wanting to really look at the elder for the moment.
“Which is completely understandable. I admit I was wrong. But no one wants to risk them getting even more hurt, Salen. Please understand that.” Eni’s voice was calm, the one they’d used when the group decided not to tell Illon about the argument.
Salen only nodded in reply, and then the two stared towards the stars and the trees before Eni stood and went into their shared tent with Agnar. They’d need to finish up the apology they’d been meaning to give him later. Of course though, it’d have to be while Illon wasn’t around, given the circumstances.

“Hey, what’re you two up to?”
Esta looked up and smiled when she saw Illon. "Illon! Hello! I'm just making super and dealing with someone who can't keep their apple to themselves."
Isabella grinned and tossed the rest of her apple (which was mostly just the core at this point.) over her shoulder. "Not much, nice to see you, Illon."
Esta nodded and turned back to Illon. "Are you feeling alright? I have some more pain meds if you need them." She stated, she still felt guilty about the fact that she couldn't heal Illon all the way, and she wanted to do everything she could to help them. "The food's almost done."
"Really? Great! It smells spicy!" Bella stated happily.
"Not really. The only thing 'spicy' is some peppers, and there aren't many." Esta corrected with a warm smile. "Everyone! Food's ready!" She called, handing the spoon to Isabella. "There you go, Bella, you can hand food out!" She stated with a rather winning smile. Isabella frowned and shook her head, actually amused. This was definitely Esta getting back at her.
Agnar looked up and smiled. "Hell yeah, food!" He exclaimed happily, jumping easily to his feet and extending a hand to Ambrose, which he took with a thankful nod.
"Tell the others I'll be there in a moment, would you? I need to take care of my guitar."
"Sure, no problem man!" Agnar answered, trotting over and accepting the bowl that Isabella handed him. The food Esta had made was a kind of stew containing steak, mild red peppers, broth, some spices, potatoes, and carrots. "Awesome, thanks, Esta!"
"Sure," The healer answered, smiling. "I hope you enjoy it."
"Always do," Angar answered, flashing a happy smile and plopping down on the ground, intentionally quite close to the fire (just to grab Eni's attention, I mean, they had to talk sometime, why not now), and waved casually to Illon. "Hey, Illon, what's up?"
Isabella grinned when Agnar placed himself so close to the fire. Everyone knew very well that Eni was like a parent to Agnar and would not stand for that. More than anything, though, she was just glad Agnar was trying to get Eni's attention again instead of ignoring them.
Ambrose quietly put his guitar in his case and placed his case in his tent. When that was taken care of, Ambrose headed back outside and accepted a bowl of stew from Isabella with a quiet dip of his head. He sat down on the opposite side of the fire from Esta, Illon, and Agnar, and started to eat silently. The food was good, but Ambrose was a little nervous about the interactions that might go on while the group was eating their meal.
Karma lifted their head when they heard Esta call for mealtime. They were hungry... Even if they didn't like the idea of being around everyone else.
Sighing, Karma stood, exited their tent, and took the bowl Isabella held out to him just a little too harshly. Bella raised a rather annoyed eyebrow but said nothing. This was expected, after all.
Karma walked over and sat down next to Ambrose, the only person here that they could stand.
"Hello, Karma!" Esta said, trying to keep things happy. "How are you doing? Is the food okay?"
Karma grunted and shrugged. "Whatever, I guess."
Esta beamed. Karma had said something that wasn't completely horrible, and that was a win in her book. "Good! I'm glad you like it."
Karma rolled their eyes. That wasn't what they'd said, but the icy glare that Isabella shot them was enough to keep them quiet.
Ambrose looked down at his food in order to avoid eye contact with the ill-tempered person beside him and Agnar snorted quietly at Karma's disrespect.
Karma, in turn, shot an annoyed look towards Agnar.
Ambrose, who was directly in between the two, flinched back a little. Esta didn't seem to notice the tension and hummed happily to herself, casually brushing off Isabella's offer of a bowl of soup.
"No thanks, Bell, I'm not hungry."
"Yep, I'm just fine."
Karma huffed, an obvious noise of disagreement and Agnar glared at them angrily.
"Leave her alone, Karma."
"I didn't say anything, Agnar!"Karma replied, drawing out Agnar's name in a mildly offensive one.
"You didn't have to."
The two engaged in a glaring contest and Ambrose sunk back, slowly putting down his bowl and looking around for an excuse to leave.

“Illon! Hello! I'm just making supper and dealing with someone who can't keep their apple to themselves.”
Illon grinned under their mask to the best of their ability at that, even though no one could see it. And then they awkwardly stopped grinning at that realization.
“Not much, nice to see you, Illon.”
And they beamed at that. Probably an overreaction to being told that it was nice to see them… But still. It was nice to hear it. Especially with all of the tension since they got back, the air’s been tense and even though no one is telling them why(Technically, they did, they said that they’d just been worried about them, but truth be told? Illon doubts that.) they can tell that it has something to do with them. They just hope that it isn’t because they’d rather not have gone through the trouble to get them but they did because they felt like they had an obligation to do so… They just hoped they hadn’t wasted their time…
“Are you feeling alright? I have some more pain meds if you need them.” Illon have her two thumbs-up at that, honestly? Esta had done more than enough already, they could deal with some slight pain. It wasn’t as if they hadn’t dealt with worse… They refocused on the conversation, not really feeling up to remembering.
“Everyone! Food's ready! There you go, Bella, you can hand food out!”
Illon tried smiling with their eyes this time, they assumed it was awkward though, so quit practically immediately. When a bowl was passed to them, they nodded in thanks and then simply stared towards it. They’d either need to wait for everyone else to be done or go off somewhere else. They’d rather not ruin everyone’s appetite.
Salen stood from where she had been sitting and walked over to the fire, watching as Agnar sped over to grab the next bowl. “Awesome, thanks, Esta!”
Salen smiled fondly as Esta replied, “Sure, I hope you enjoy it.”
Salen nodded in agreement and grabbed her own bowl from Isabella. Then, went and sat down, laughing quietly as she saw Agnar sit too close to the fire.
Eni, who’d just been getting out of the tent for food, stared at this with a look of ‘how dare you, child’ on their face. “Agnar, move over! You could burn yourself!”
Illon had busied themself with staring into the bowl, deciding to wait until a good moment to bolt and eat somewhere else. The bubble of speaking was definitely closing in on them. The stew shone due to the light, bright and above them. Illon’s head hung low, staring at a puddle of blood that glimmered beneath them.
They strained their wrists for the upteenth time, hoping that the cuffs and chains holding them above their head would loosen up. At least enough to get some kind of grip. The team was waiting for them. They couldn’t just waste their time. But their attempt only ended in their wrists getting dug into more. Their body felt like lead, and they heard a door opening from their good ear. They tried to lift their head to look at who, their lower jaw and upper neck denied that idea though.
“So… Have you decided yet?” They spat at the ground as an answer, the result being more blood than saliva. But it got the point across. The man’s arm-
Waved in front of them, from their right. They flinched back, their breathing quickening to dangerously high levels immediately. “Holy-”
“Illon, what's up?” Illon looked over at Agnar quickly(When had he gotten there?), eyes still wide. They must’ve zoned out.
Given the fact that they’d almost dropped the bowl, they had put one hand to their chest and looked at Agnar, the bubble was slightly easier to ignore. “Man, almos’ ‘ave me a heart attack. Where’d ya come from?”
Eni received their bowl and sat down next to Salen, who had decided to sit next to Ambrose, with Karma on his other side. They gave their adopted son a death glare for ignoring them before sighing and beginning to eat.
“Hello, Karma! How are you doing? Is the food okay?”
“Whatever, I guess.”
“Good! I'm glad you like it.”
And there was the tension again, Illon noted. They shifted and held their bowl, still not taking off the mask to eat. Eni rolled their eyes at everyone’s childishness and continued to eat. Salen glanced between all of them and began to eat.
“No thanks, Bell, I'm not hungry.”
“Yep, I'm just fine.”
Karma huffed. Agnar glared. Illon tensed. “Leave her alone, Karma.”
“I didn't say anything, Agnar!” Illon gripped the bowl tightly and glanced around. Not the best moment to leave and all, but pretty good nonetheless. At least there would be a reason other than the mask…
“You didn't have to.”
As Karma and Agnar started to have a glaring match, Illon met eyes with Ambrose who had set his bowl down. Eyes quiet with a question. They both wanted out.
Amel stepped out of his tent at the commotion, having just finished putting everything away. “Oi, why are people fighting out here? We got a long day of walking tomorrow and I’d rather no one be antsy with one another. You all hear that?”
Well, excuse given. Amel definitely wouldn’t want to look at Illon as he ate. Illon stood and fought through the bubble and pain to speak, “Well, uh… I just remembered! I was going to listen to Ambrose play his guitar so, uh… Thanks for the meal, Esta. Bye.” Illon met eyes with Ambrose again and then turned, beginning to walk to Ambrose’s tent. Still holding the bowl that they hadn’t eaten from at all.
Amel watched as they left and then shrugged with a scoff written plainly on his face, going over and grabbing a bowl, he sat down to begin eating. As soon as Illon was out of earshot, he mumbled something akin to “Finally…” and then continued to eat.
Ambrose sat uncomfortably in between Agnar and Karma for a moment before looking up and meeting Illon's eyes. He gave a slight nod of understanding and waited for a good excuse to come up.
“Oi, why are people fighting out here? We got a long day of walking tomorrow and I’d rather no one be antsy with one another. You all hear that?"
Well, that was faster than expected, but it would definitely work.
“Well, uh… I just remembered! I was going to listen to Ambrose play his guitar so, uh… Thanks for the meal, Esta. Bye.”
"Right," Ambrose added softly, looking at Esta who seemed slightly uncomfortable now. "Thank you, Esta, the food was great."
"Sure, Ambrose, Illon, any time," Esta replied, her smile slightly strained now.
Silently, Ambrose followed Illon to his tent, not bothering to bring his half-eaten bowl with him. His appetite was gone after that, the silent tension made him anxious. "Thank you." He said softly, reaching the tent and opening the flap to let Illon enter first, then following behind. Ambrose walked over to his guitar case and took the instrument out, sitting down criss-cross on his bedroll. He started gently strumming the strings again. The others would be expecting the noise, and, besides, the music was calming to him. Mindlessly, his fingers moved up and down to create an old childhood favorite of him. He smiled slightly at Illon.
"You should eat, Illon, I don't mind."
When Amel came out, Karma sat back again, unhappy about it, but also not willing to make Amel more upset. They just started eating again and looked at the ground. This was stupid. All of it was stupid.
Agnar was less willing to give up, glaring at Karma a moment longer before finally looking away and smiling at Eni and Salen, a little apologetically. He also shifted away from the fire, even though he would never admit it, especially not to Eni, the heat was getting quite uncomfortable.
"Uh, oops?" He said questioningly, brushing off a still warm ember that had started eating through his jacket.
Once she was sure everyone had a bowl, Isabella quietly placed one in Esta's lap and then seated herself on the ground next to her, holding her own bowl. She scoffed at Agnar.
"Yeah, 'cause that was a total accident."
"Hey! I didn't expect it to eat me!"
"It's fire, idiot, that's what it does!"
Esta smiled with relief as the tension seemed to fade away, and quietly picked up her bowl, hesitantly bringing a spoonful to her lips. She missed the approving glance that Isabella shot her, but she kept eating anyway, just a few spoonfuls. It wasn't much, but it was progress at least.
"Uh, anyway," Agnar pushed himself a little away from the fire. "Heyyyy, Eni. That didn't happen, it was definitely an illusion."
Isabella smirked. "Don't think so. As far as I'm aware, Salen does not use her power to make it look like you did something stupid. Frankly, she doesn't have to, you do it too much anyway."
"Hey!" Agnar protested, putting on a fake wounded face. "I'm not that bad!"
Isabella gave him a critical look and Esta laughed.
"You guys are mean!"
"You brought this upon yourself."
Though the majority of the tension seemed to have died down, Karma still looked rather unhappy, and Isabella was watching Amel out of the corner of her eye, even as she joked around with Agnar.
Esta, on the other hand, seemed very pleased that everyone was acting nicely again. "I can take care of dishes when everyone is finished." She offered, smiling kindly.
"Thanks, Esta." Isabella answered, smiling back, Agnar nodded, unable to talk since he'd just shoved a large spoonful of stew into his mouth.
Karma, as per usual, said nothing. They'd actually just finished their meal, so they handed their bowl to Esta without looking and headed back to their tent. If anything important happened, they'd hear about it later. For now, they just wanted to sleep and block everyone out. They were so tired, all the time. And at this point, they were just done.
Karma didn't doubt that they'd lose contact with these people when they got back to the city, it was only expected, but they weren't sure how to feel about it really. Karma didn't have any friends back home, but they weren't sure these people were actually their friends either. They just put up with them.
Ambrose was the only person that didn't seem completely annoyed when they were around, even Esta seemed uncomfortable, but Ambrose was quiet and awkward anyway, he probably hated Karma and was just too shy to say it. So, when this group broke up, it probably wouldn't even matter. No one would care where Karma went.
It was as simple as that, and the same as it had always been.
