Theo just rolled his eyes playfully at her and shot the tequila shot, "Cheers!" He exclaimed as the alcohol burned down his throat. He quickly gulped down his beer and moved onto the next beer that was sat waiting for him. He glanced back to Wren and smiled at her, he moved closer to her and whispered in her ear, "Thank you for coming tonight," Theo said, cupping her face and kissing the side of her face very gently. All he wanted to do was kiss her, but he didn't want to put her off or make her think that he was wanting her for a trophy of some sorts. He was enjoying the night with her, which made him look forward to Friday even more.
Everyone knocked back the shots and groaned in disgust. "Luke, of all the shots, why tequila?" Harry shivered as the lime touched his lips. Luke just laughed drunkenly. He had been drinking for a while before Theo arrived, and had drank a few more pints than the rest of them. Luke was a much larger drinker than anyone, but it made him more fun and he was more likely to splurge on buying people drinks to catch up with him.
Theo was having a much better time than he normally would at the pub, and it was all thanks to Wren. He had butterflies in his stomach from the moment she arrived, and they weren't going away. He just wanted to have fun getting to know her, and enjoy the night and hope that there were no dramas. |

Wren had just done the same with the rest of her gin and tonic, the empty glass once more on the table as she felt Theo moving closer to whisper in her ear. Her eyes widened a little, her breath hitching as his lips met her cheek. She couldn't get over the way he made her stomach flutter. Still, she turned to him, leaning towards him this time. "I suppose it hasn't been the worst," she mused quietly before placing a much less brazen and more sneaky kiss to his jaw. She'd have never reciprocated if she hadn't been drinking, but truthfully she did really like affection, especially if it was from someone she did like. Holly laughed after taking her own shot, grinning at Harry and Luke. "Come on now darling, don't be a baby~" she teased playfully, winking at Harry. Holly would drink just about everything and anything placed in front of her without batting an eye. What was a bit of a strong taste if it meant getting to have even more fun? She had probably even been pre-gaming before they left their dorm. The more time that passed, the more Wren seemed to be opening up and letting loose. She was actually being talkative, giggling and joking when the time called for it. She wasn't even paying attention to the jealous girls anymore. Of course, they were still paying attention to her, glaring and gossiping as they passed by. But none of it mattered. She was having fun, and Theo was with her. She had even moved close enough that she could lean against him, her small body relaxed against his side. |

Theo felt his cheeks getting hot when she was the one who placed affection onto him. He felt smitten with her, and he hoped it kept going throughout the night. This was the most fun he had ever had with a girl before, and it wasn't even a date. He gently rested his arm around her shoulder and continued to enjoy the rest of the evening, laughing at Harry who was still shuddering at his tequila shot and had to get some water he was struggling that much.
The night was still going, Theo was still affectionate toward Wren, looking over at her ever so often to make sure she was comfortable, stroking the top of her arm and playing with her hair. He was completely infatuated with her. Luke got up, and stumbled toward the bathroom. He was completely out of it at this point, and kept bumping into people on his way.
Around 10 minutes had past and Luke was still in the toilet. Theo checked his phone to see the time and he still wasn't back. Theo removed his arm from Wren, "I'm just going to check on Luke," he said, getting up from his seat and heading toward the bathroom.
Theo could hear raised voices in the bathroom and saw Luke shouting at some man, who was known to not like their group. He assumed from jealousy, but Theo wasn't sure. He got in between the men and looked at him. "What is your problem, mate?" Theo shouted over him, pushing him into the wall. Luke scuffled out of the bathroom and ran back to the table. "Harry, I'm sorry. I think Theo is going to fight someone," he said sheepishly.
Harry groaned in frustration. "For gods sake Luke," he replied, slamming his pint down in anger and storming off toward the bathroom to assist.
Luke looked toward Wren and Holly, giggling and shrugging his shoulders. |

Wren was having quite a bit of fun, any thoughts of worry far from her inebriated mind. She was just focused on the present and genuinely getting to know Theo and his friends on a level deeper than the surface. She could feel herself becoming more giddy each time that Theo would check on her, his touch creating goosebumps across her skin. She especially liked when he would play with her hair. Perhaps she just liked everything more than she gave it credit for. Theo truly was quite sweet... When he mentioned going to check on Luke, Wren nodded and straightened up, watching briefly as he left towards the bathroom. She drank the rest of her gin and tonic, just chatting happily with Holly and Harry until a very sheepish and drunk Luke returned without his mate. Her eyes widened as he warned that there was likely about to be a fight, and it was only moments later that she was getting up to follow after Harry. "Christ Wren, you can't go into the men's loo!" Holly shouted at her, trying to stop her. She didn't give Holly time to grab her though, merely shooting back a "Watch me!" as she wove through the crowd. She was rather drunk at that point, swaying as she walked, barely avoiding stumbling into other people. She could hear yelling still as she made it to the men's room, and she pushed the door open without hesitation to see what was going on, and hopefully diffuse the situation. |

Theo angrily pushed the man back into the wall as he tried to intimidate and annoy Theo even further. "Your mate there, hes drunk and needs to go home," the man spat angrily. Theo scoffed and grabbed hold of the scruff of his collar. "Maybe, but you don't need to be a dick about it," Theo growled and kept him in his place. Theo was trying his best to remain calm, as he didn't want to start a fight, but he has an angry streak in him that he can't handle.
Harry stormed into the bathroom with Wren following closely behind. Harry turned to look at Wren as Theo and the man were having a screaming match. "Wren, why don't you wait outside?" He asked, more like telling her to. The last thing he wanted was for her to see Theo beating up some guy in the bathroom.
Just as Harry turned back around, the man landed a punch to Theo's cheek. Theo frowned and grabbed hold of the man's shirt and threw him to the ground, landing punches on him and flying into a complete rage. Harry kept shouting at him to stop, trying to drag Theo off the man who laid helpless on the floor. The man kept trying to get up, but Theo was unable to be stopped. There were multiple men in the bathroom trying to drag Theo off him, and eventually, he did stop. Theo's hands were bloody and he stood up, leaving the man groaning on the floor.
Theo just stood there, facing the man. Harry grabbed Theo and pushed him away from the situation and helped the bruised man up. He was alright luckily, a few black eyes and burst lip. |

Wren looked like she was going to argue with Harry about it, but she could tell he wasn't in a negotiating mood, so she did like he asked, instead waiting just outside the door. She could hear pretty much everything, and she was rather worried at that point. She wanted badly to go back in there and make sure Theo was alright, but from what she could hear, she wasn't so sure that Theo was the one she needed to be worried about. Still, she couldn't help but worry. When the shouting finally eased up, she found herself hesitantly pushing open the door again to see what was going on. She knew Harry probably still didn't want her in there, but she didn't care. Her eyes first landed on the bruised and bloodied man, the sight making her stomach churn a little. The nerves didn't help either. She saw Theo next, but his back was to her as she approached. She just wanted to make sure he was alright. She reached out, placing a light hand on his upper arm. "Theo?" She spoke softly, almost as if she was uncertain. She knew that he had a hot headed streak, but she hadn't exactly seen it in action before. "Are you alright?" She questioned, just barely managing to keep the tremble out of her voice. She was sure that Theo could handle himself being as big as he was, but she truly did care, even if she had acted like she hated him for so long. |

Theo was still very angry, not entirely sure why that guy decided to take the first punch. He had tried his absolute best to remain composed, as he had been trying really hard to focus on getting his anger managed and under control. He just lost it tonight and the alcohol definitely didn't help. Harry assisted the guy in cleaning himself up whilst Theo just stood with his head against the wall trying to keep himself calm. He then felt a small hand on his arm and a familiar voice. Theo just sighed gently and turned around, staring down at Wren who looked terrified. He felt awful for putting her into a situation when they were just getting to know each other. "Hey baby, im sorry," he whispered, cupping her face and analysing her expression.
Theo sighed softly and brushed her hair out of her face. He let her go and nodded his head to the door. "I'm going to get some fresh air, you can come if you like," he spoke, walking out of the bathroom and made a bee line for the exit. There were a few people hollering at him as he walked to the exit, before feeling the fresh breeze against his face. He leaned against the cobbled exterior wall and grabbed a cigarette from his pocket, quickly lighting it and taking a hit from it. Theo immediately felt a little bit calmer. He continued smoking and ran a hand through his hair looking down at his feet. |

Wren was relieved when she saw that the other man seemed to have taken the majority of the beating, save for the one place on Theo's cheek. She was studying his face just as he seemed to be doing to her. One of her hands cupped over his gingerly, her heart stuttering again when he called her baby. "It's okay.. I was just worried about you," she murmured, hoping she wasn't over stepping by having came to check on him so fast. Letting him let go, Wren took a deep breath and nodded, not quite wanting to be apart from him yet. Her head was still spinning from the alcohol and she didn't feel like having to answer Holly's questions if she did return to the table. She followed him out, relieved once the fresh air made contact with her heated skin. She was quiet as he pulled out a cigarette and lit it, instead just letting him calm down and get his wits about him again. She leaned against the wall next to him, the breeze ruffling at her hair. A few more quiet moments passed before she looked at Theo, her hand sliding into his free one. "Are you sure you're alright?" She asked, her brows furrowing slightly in concern. She wasn't used to him being so quiet or looking quite so stressed. She wanted to make it better. |

Theo was listening the shouting and carrying on outside, people having a good time and laughing. He remained quiet, just with his thoughts. His mind stopped when he felt Wren's hand intertwine with his. He looked over to her, biting his lip with anxiety. He didn't really know what to say to her. Theo felt awful about what had happened, but it was clear that she wasn't upset or bothered at the moment that he had beaten someone up. Maybe tomorrow, she may realise that she doesn't want to pursue anything with him and he would understand that.
For now though, Theo didn't want to worry about that, he was just glad of the company and it wasn't someone chewing his ear off about his bad decisions. Instead of speaking, he just moved infront of her, removed the distance between them both and kissed her deeply on the lips. He wrapped his free arm around her waist and was careful not to let the cigarette near her. He kept kissing her, pulling her closer to him until she couldn't get much closer.
Eventually, he pulled back and stared into her eyes. He just smiled and put the cigarette in his mouth, "Wow, that's cheered me up," he whispered and chuckled softly. The kiss was electrifying, something he had never felt before with someone. Her genuine worry for her made him feel something for her, more than just a crush at this point.
Theo was still really close to her, blowing the cigarette smoke away from her face and keeping his arm around her waist tightly. He didn't want to let her go just yet. |

Wren wasn't much of a stranger to arguements or even occasional violence, having witnessed more than her fair share in her life time. It didn't phase her much, apart from just worrying about whether or not the person she cared about was alright. It still scared her and blood often made her squeamish, but at the end of the day, all that mattered was that he was alright. She was taken by surprise again when he came close, kissing the living daylights out of her instead of answering her question. She didn't resist him, though, instead pressing close and returning the breath taking kiss. Her hands grasped his shirt, her body pressed against his. By the time he had pulled away, she was a touch breathless and a little dazed. Her cheeks heated up when she shook out of the haze, a smile appearing across her lips. "Cheeky, cheeky man," she giggled as she looked up at him, simply admiring him for a moment. He hadn't been her first kiss, but god he might as well have been with the way that it had felt. Wren had never felt more alive than right then, and she knew that she was right where she needed to be. With no desire to put distance between them, Wren tucked her face into the crook of his neck, content to stay in his grasp. She'd have probably given anything to remain in that very moment. |
