Sebastian had sighed of relief as she locked the doors and slipped the keys in her pockets. He glared at her taunt, but then nodded. Taunting didn't bother him much; his father did that enough. "Yeah, actually. After my mother died of cancer, you asshole." He replied. Sebastian had felt a slight comfort in the fact she put the keys away, despite the fact she had a gun and could you know, just shoot the thing. He really wished it wouldn't come down to it, as when he spoke, he was being truthful. JJ had looked at Scott and nodded. "That's my brother. And well, you probably haven't." JJ replied before seeing the man take a box of donuts, offering some to JJ. Alright, maybe he could be comfortable enough and not have to fear a grown-ass man beating him up further than he already was. JJ gave a soft smile as he took one out of the box, taking a bite. He hadn't ate in a while, but instead of looking like a pig, he took slow bites, but still sorta large ones. He looked out the window and took notice that they were driving past Seb and Hannah, and he gave his older brother a sad glance. He looked at Scott. "Do you think there's a chance you could tell your sister to kinda back off?" JJ asked Scott. There was no context to his question, and he hoped he wouldn't question it. (short again >.>)

Hannah's face dropped when Sabastian mentioned his mother. It was a death gift, she really dun did fuck up this time. She frowned, but she couldn't get distracted, she sent the kid away for a reason and now she had to live up to it. Looking around, she saw the trail just up ahead, it was the trail she and Scott made for target practise. You see, it lead to a secluded clearing in the small woods there. As far as they knew, nobody else knew it was there. Hannah pointed over to the trail, "Care for a little bushwalk?" Scott was relieved JJ took a donut, it meant he trusted him. Scott wasn't like his sister, he wanted to be trusted, not feared. Although it made him a slightly less formidable member in the gang, he liked it that way. Scott was surprised by the question, well sort of. He wasn't surprised that she had gone too far, but he was that JJ asked him about it. He knew that she came home really late last night, looking really fucked up but he didn't ask and she didn't offer to say anything. But this morning, she seemed fine. Scott had watched her go about her day as per usual, just avoiding their parents more today. Which really was quite understandable seeing as though she had only just found out about this marriage between the Sherwoods' & Adriels'. "I'll have a chat to her, don't worry. But if you don't mind me asking, what happened? Because that did not look like a calm and civilised talk to me" Driving over to the Adriel and Sherwood territory border, Scott grew more and more nervous. Hoping he wouldn't be seen, he pulled over just into Adriel territory "Sorry JJ, this is as far as I can go. You alright getting to wherever you need to go? Scott asked him, genuinly worried about the kid.

Sebastian took notice to the forwn Hannah gave to the mention of his mother. Maybe for once she would realize that not everything he had was about money. The small, silver chain he wore around his neck was a gift from JJ three years ago, as a gift because he simply cared and was worried about his brother. Sure, money was a big part of being in a gang, but family was more than money. And this all proved it. Sebastian followed the Sherwood's finger to a trail in the distance. "Prove to me that this isn't gonna be another shitshow." Sebastian said, glancing at the gun then met eyes with her again. He was trying to point out that he didn't want the gun involved. Seb didn't really expect the girl to actually do anything, but he thought they could be a bit more even. Despite last night, Adriels were all about being even. At rumbles, there were always rules; most of the time it was no weapons. And if the Sherwood didn't try anything, he wouldn't either. JJ was gazing out the window, seeing them drive away from the scene between Hannah and Sebastian. He took a final bite of his donut, as his hunger dwindled. He didn't really eat much, as his frame showed that. JJ was lanky and scrawny, not a whole lot of muscle but he seemed to look normal. JJ neve really minded the fact he was the kinda tall and skinny guy in school; he just kinda rolled with it then. JJ had began fidgeting with his fingers as Scott asked what happen. He sighed. Telling him would perhaps make him mad, but JJ wasn't too big on lying either -- especially to an enemy he could make friends with. "Hannah was on our territory last night. I don't remember exactly everything, but I did pull a gun out on her. I didn't shoot her, only gave a few warning shots. And uh, then later that night I came here to apologize. As you can tell that really didn't end well." He said, scoffing as he was mentioning his wounds. The one on his forehead was bruised and slightly swollen, dried blood on his nose and lip from a cut. His knuckles were bruised as well which did mean that he at least tried to put up a fight. "Other than that, I don't know what happened." JJ took notice that they were nearing Adriel territory. He looked back, but couldn't see Hannah or Seb anymore as they were out of view. He looked at Scott and nodded in response. JJ gave a soft smile towards him as he waited for a reply. If he would give one, that is.

At first, Hannah felt kind of bad when she heard about his mother. But really, when she thought about it, it was truly none of her business and she was sure Sebastian would prefer to keep it that way. Whatever had happened in the past, that's where it stayed. She wouldn't want him digging around in her past, he definitely wouldn't like what he found, and he wouldn't appreciate her doing it either. Hannah rolled her eyes, she should've expected something like this. Of all people, she should've learnt by now not to underestimate the Adrields. The one concern was, she leaves the gun here, she would have no chance against him. She debated for a moment, before sighing. Hannah lowered the gun, dropping it to the ground. She'd just have to take her chances, if he wanted a fair fight, she'd give him one. Throwing a childish look at him, Hannah grabbed his arm and started walking over to the trail. He'd come with her, even if she had to drag him there. Scott listened quietly as JJ explained what happened. The only thing that surprised him was the fact the kid pulled a gun on his sister? Bold, very bold. He chuckled, this kid was just getting better and better. "You pulled a gun on my sister? I'm starting you like you, kid" Scott told him, a smile creeping onto his face.

Sebastian waited for the moment of an action or reply. Either she would hold it up to him, maybe just tuck it away in her waistband. But rather surprisingly, Seb watched as the Sherwood dropped the gun after lowering it. He looked down at it and raised his brows, giving her a rather sarcastic look. She was smart, maybe he did underestimate her just a little bit. He looked at her before he took notice of the childish face. He rolled his eyes as she grasped his arm, walking sorta behind her but close enough. Space was what Seb needed. JJ looked at Scott, seeing the smile on his face. "You really don't care I pulled a gun out on your sister? Especially a Sherwood?" JJ asked, his eyes lighting up with surprise, a glimpse of happiness, and relief. He was expecting Scott to actually pull a gun out on him, but his reaction was much more different than he anticipated. JJ grabbed the handle to open the door, but before he did, he faced Scott and gave him a soft smile before he had climbed out. JJ bent down slightly and looked at Scott. "To be fair, she did pull a gun out on me earlier. So it would only be fair," JJ chuckled before he closed the door. He looked down, remembering he had no shoes on and sighed softly, making his way onto the sidewalk and making his way through the familiar roads and such, JJ found himself back home. JJ had knocked on the pale door, which matched the perfectly with the house. Hearing the pit-patter of feet, he watched the doorknob turn after hearing the lock turn, he saw his dad. Markus looked up and down at his kid and gave him a sincere look. "I was worried about you, kid." He said softly, but his voice was rather gruff anyways. JJ scoffed. "I'm fine. I'm just gonna head upstairs to my room. And Seb is out with some friends, his phone died so he told me to tell you before he left again." JJ said, although it was a lie. Again, lying wasn't his thing, but for Seb it was something different. Despite is older brother being an adult, Markus still always got mad at him, no matter what choice he made. It didn't matter if it was good or bad. In Markus's eyes, Sebastian was just some childish man to him. To JJ, he was more of parent than Markus ever was. More than ever.

Hannah led Sebastian onto the trail, not letting him go. I mean, she obviously didn't trust him, but there wasn't really anywhere for him to go, he didn't know Sherwood territory anywhere near as well as she did. Besides, she still had his keys anyway. Hannah led him further and further in the trail. The clearing was quite far into the trail. Hannah hadn't really had time to process the fact she was getting married, let alone to Sebastian. They already had tried to kill eachother twice, and twice threatening his brother's life. There was no way in hell this plan for 'peace' was going to work after all of this. Maybe she could just kill him, if only she had brought the gun with her. Now'd have to do it the hard way, very hard way looking at the size of this guy. Hannah had to be smart about it, he'd easily be able to over-power her in a matter of seconds, she needed to figure something out, quick. That was Hannah's best bet for majority of her fights, either using weapons, or trying to get the upper-hand of the situation. Being only 5'4, it was impossible for Hannah to get into a fight where she was actually the stronger one. Almost unheard-of. Her pride and ego got into the way of that, she'd never actually fight anyone she knew she could beat. It was unnecessary. She liked the challenge. Once she reached the clearing, Hannah walked to the middle of it, pulling Sebastian with her. She let him of his arm and spun to face him. Giving him a smirk as she took her jacket off, she'd be able to fight better in the sweatpants and close-fitting top without the jacket getting into the way. Kicking off her shoes, she steadied her footing in the grass. "I think it's time we settled this like adults"

Sebastian had the urge just to tackle the girl. Six foor four and five four was a difference, and Sebastian had a lot more muscle than her regardless if he worked out or not. Sebastian took a passion with working out, as it allowed him to release any sort of anger. He had to focus on something, and it was always time to be alone. But right now, he had to shake the thought. He had to focus on her. Not that she could really pull on Sebastian Adriel, but there was always a chance of an extra weapon, maybe even something else he wasn't thinking of. Whatever it was, Sebastian truly was and wasn't prepared at the same time. Sure, he knew how to fight, but he wasn't always the most alert. Especially in times like these. Seeing a clearing coming up, Sebastian looked at the girl. The sounds of birds chirping had echoed softly throughout the surrounding woodland, only to make Sebastian a bit more on his toes. He began to become alert, and as they reached the clearing, seeing that Hannah had finally let go of him. He leaned his head back, biting his lip subtly before he raised a brow. "You're merely the size of a seventh grader, Sherwood." Sebastian taunted, before smirking. He himself had slipped off his sweatshirt, only to reveal a baggy shirt underneath. It was what he had just thrown up as Markus ordered him to go find JJ, and he was in his shorts. Sebastian looked down at Hannah, towering over her. Did she really think that she could take down Sebastian, let alone an Adriel? Sure it was an even fight, no weapons and it was them only, but still. Sebastian wasn't trying to be biased as he knew that they each had their advantages. Whatever it was, he had got into a position that was familiar and comfortable, one that he just eased in to. "You know that I workout and I train in boxing?"

"You've underestimated me quite a bit so far. How sure are you that you're doing it again right now?" Hannah taunted, bouncing on her heels a few times to warm up her muscles. At least she had a plan, a plan that would very easily get her killed but might just work. Did she want to do it? Not particularly. But it'd be well worth it just to purely see his reaction, well, and to beat him. For this to work, it had to play out a certain way, Hannah needed this to go the way she hoped, otherwise she was as good as dead. A few nerves kicked up in her stomach, but nothing too serious. She could do this, right? "Please. you act as if the Sherwoods' don't have me on a strict training & workout regime. What's that? Oh right, the third time you've underestimated me. One more and you might just find yourself in a rather humilating position" Hannah told him softly, with a sumg smile on her face, Hannah slowly approached him until she was barely a foot away from him. All she needed was for him to take the bait and react, in a way that she'd be able to enact her plan. She could quite clearly see this all coming together. It would definitely complicate things for this marriage, but it would make it highly interesting to watch play out Edited at July 18, 2020 06:45 AM by purge

"It really isn't underestimating if it's true, Sherwood." Seb shrugged. "Besides, your huge ego could probably cover the underestimating, huh?" He then added with a simple smirk. Sebastian had watched her moves, glancing into her eyes. No sign of anything. Yet. Sebastian was waiting for something to happen. He had gotten into the familiar boxer stance; feet shoulder-width apart, knees slightly bent, his left foot more turned towards the Sherwood. Sebastian had his fists loose, which would eventually tighten as he went to throw the punch. His right hand was near his chin while his left was down and in front of his face. His blue eyes were up as his chin was down. "I never said they didn't," Sebastian replied. "I might as well just throw you to the ground right now." Sebastian gave a smug smirk as she did, seeing that she had approached him. He eyed the smaller girl closely, taking a slight interest in to what she had in mind. He held his ground though with ease and he held it strongly.

"Nope. Pretty sure it's still underestimating. I know for sure, that you're underestimating how far I'll go to beat you" Hannah stared up at him, smiling up at him. She should've figured out what to say before she started this. Because this was about to go from 0 to 100 in about ten seconds. Hannah closed her eyes for a moment, mentally preparing for the huge mistake she knew this was going to be. "Throw me on the ground huh? That's the last thing you'd want to do right now" Hannah laughed. Hannah needed to get him riled up. Smirking, she softly wrapped a hand around his arm. Hannah was already started to second guess her plan. What if he didn't react they way she wanted? What if it didn't work? The thoughts were swarming her head, acutely aware of the closeness of their bodies, Hannah looked back up at him, raising an eyebrow at him, smugly smiling.
