She chuckled, satisfied to hear it from one of his friends, though she had to admit it was a bit off. She truly thought that Theo was trying to make her into another notch on his belt. Wren looked at Theo, her arms crossing over her chest as he leaned closer. He wasn't wrong. She had said no to plenty of other people. Most weren't as persistent as him, though, and certainly no where near as attractive as she found him to be. "You wish," she told him, not giving him the answer she knew he wanted as she dared to move closer. "You're just so persistent~"

Holly giggled quietly, leaning closer to whisper back to Harry. "Trust me, she's into him too, she just doesn't want to admit it," she murmured, stealing a glance at the pair again. Wren might've always been giving him a hard time, but Holly could see the way she reacted when he was near, or the way that Wren would look at Theo when she thought no one was watching. Even though he might've gotten on her nerves, she wasn't as resistant to his charms as she seemed.

Wren was becoming increasingly aware of the attention she and Theo were receiving, especially when those girls had approached. Her cheeks became stained with pink as she scowled, watching as the giggling girls scurried off after having winked at Theo. What was that feeling stirring in her stomach? Dare she say... Jealousy? She wasn't quite sure she liked someone else hitting on him. Huffing, she eased herself closer to Theo, lying to herself that she was just doing it for body heat. "You could have any girl here. I just don't understand why you're so focused on me," she shook her head as she took a couple of big sips from her glass before looking at Theo. She was already starting to feel a little warm and fuzzy from the alcohol.

Holly was happy to keep talking and giggling about everything going on between their friends. She was trying to push Wren to just take what she wanted for once. Wren had finished off the rest of her drink, thankful for the courage that it was starting to give her. She didn't like being watched, and she didn't like the fact that if she wasn't there that Theo would likely be getting so much attention from other girls, so of course when he gestured towards the bar she got up to go with him.

Wren looked at Theo, the space between them less than she usually allowed. His words shocked her, and just as much was evident on her face. She was quiet, searching for the words she wanted to say as she studied his face, seeking out the truth in what he spoke. He seemed genuine, which was terrifying. She wasn't used to Theo being so serious or looking so vulnerable. She was used to the playboy who always got what he wanted and had hardly ever looked at her for more than a second. But now he had been giving her so much attention, causing past feeling that she had buried from highschool to resurface.

Taking her drink with murmured thanks, she took a sip before exhaling a soft, somewhat shaky breath. It was now or never it seemed. "I.. I am interested in you, and it honestly frightens me," she admitted, her expression softening as she looked up at him. "I'm not used to getting attention that actually makes me feel something, and I keep telling myself I'm not going to fall for it, but here I am, feeling jealous because I don't want other girls looking at you or flirting with you," she told him, her own fear and vulnerability evident on her face. She was scared of getting hurt, that he wouldn't be as serious about her once she actually committed herself to him, but she didn't want to lose her once chance either.

Wren's expression turned to her typical glare when he grew smug, joking about how he'd of course get attention. She knew people were going to look regardless, but it didn't mean she had to like it. He had his reputation for a reason, making her hesitant still to open herself up to him. She was a deeply emotional person, and she protected herself fiercely. Appreciating when he returned to being a bit more serious, Wren nodded, glancing away briefly. All she could do was really hope that he was being serious about her. "Yeah, sure," she agreed, more than happy to take things slow. Just because she had admitted her interest in Theo didn't mean that she'd hand her heart to him completely. He'd still have to work for her, but perhaps not quite as hard.

Wren just had to figure out what she was going to be to him. She wasn't the type of girl for flings or meaningless dates. If she was going to spend time with a person, it was going to be because she was serious about pursuing something with them. She drank from her glass, trying to settle all of the emotions stirring up in her. She had no doubt that Holly was cheering her on from the table, but she couldn't bring herself to glance that way. A part of her was definitely scared that the whole situation with Theo would end up being a cruel prank. She could almost envision how she'd be humiliated if it was all ruse, making her all the more hesitant to put herself out there.

Looking back at Theo, her glare had softened again. The pub was starting to get more crowded, leading her to cozy up to him to avoid being bumped into. "I'm choosing to trust you, Theo," she said softly, her finger tips trailing down his muscled arm. "Please don't make me regret that," she added, even managing the smallest of smiles. She hated to admit it to herself, but she'd be watching him more than she did before. Would he be flirting with other girls? Was he making fun of her behind her back? Would he be bragging about how he finally bagged one of the most emotionally unavailable girls on campus? Or could he actually end up being serious...

His effort to keep her protected from the new pub goers did not go unnoticed. He was always the touchy one, but that was different. What he did next, however, was even more different and surprising. Her heart had leapt, her cheeks tinging pink. His lips were warm and soft, and now she had to deal with those pesky little butterflies stirring up chaos in her stomach. The surprise was still evident on her face as he looked down at her, but she simply nodded, smiling faintly as she let him guide her back towards the table. There were a lot of people, and she wasn't the biggest fan of crowds.

As they walked, she could see the surprise on the faces of his friends. She was sure she wasn't his usual type, so it didn't surprise her that they were shocked. If there was anything that was widely known about her, it was that she wasn't easy, and that she didn't just fall for pretty faces. Sitting back down, Wren busied herself with her drink to avoid that teasing look she knew Holly was giving her. She had felt her eyes burning a hole into the back of her head the entire time they'd been at the bar, which meant she had seen their proximity and that sweet little kiss.

Placing her glass down after a good sip, Wren hummed as she listened to the boys' exchange about the kiss. "Well, you wouldn't know unless you tried, now would you?" She spoke before almost immediately clapping a hand over her mouth. Shit. Guess the alcohol is making me loose lipped. Rarely going out, Wren was most definitely a lightweight. "Inside thoughts coming out, huh babes?" Holly teased, grinning at Wren and then Theo. She groaned, moving her hand and running in through her hair before glaring at Holly. "I'm blaming you," she muttered.

Wren's eyes widened as she scoffed lightly, nudging him gently with her elbow. "Oh you wish I'd give you that privilege," she told him, though she was being more playful than she was snarky. She had no doubt that if she hadn't been keeping him at arms length he'd have already put the moves on her. Unfortunately for them, he'd still have to work hard to get that far with her. At least, that's what she told herself. He could be pretty charming sometimes.

Even Holly was losing it in laughter, enjoying the cringe worthy scene just as much as the next person while Wren struggled not to be red as a tomato. At least with the way she was becoming less sober she wouldn't be terribly worried about the crowd or how she should have been studying right then. Luke was unknowingly making certain of that as he brought back drinks and shots for everyone.

As it would turn out, Wren could knock back a shot pretty well when she'd already been drinking. She of course chased it with the lime, shuddering only slightly as the liquor burned her throat on the way down. "You four are horrible influences," Wren teased, truly wondering how they got much of anything done if they went out like that often. She knew Holly did, and she had no doubt the boys did too.
