The young man matched Sky's rudeness, and didn't bother to even turn around as he heard a car start. Hayden took Versailles to a grassy place around the barn and flopped down in the grass. Without hesitation, he pulled his phone out, blocking Sky on everything he could find. There was nothing he wanted to do with the boy, and it only irritated him to think that someday the other boy might try to contact him again. He only rested for a bit though. There were stalls to muck, horses to exercise, and homework to do once he was done with that. As he stood up, he groaned. He had another lesson that day as well, making his lousy day not much better. Thankfully, the little girl who he gave lessons to was a gentle soul, and very kind. He enjoyed giving her lessons, because she was patient with both him and the horses. So, he forced a smile, and went to get the lesson horse she usually used: Bluegrass. Once the appaloosa was saddled, he got the young lady up on the gelding, helping them get started.

(Praying that sky can salvage this also sorry I kinda of time skipped to when Hayden was leaving) Sky fell asleep for a bit before jolting awake. His mind was now calm and not angry but sadness still filled it. He grabbed the money from before and put it in his pocket. He then ran up the stairs and grabbed the keys before quickly getting in his car. He then began to drive back to the stables. He blasted his favourite band to try to cheer him up. Roughing about 25 minutes later he got there, he was obviously speeding. He didn't know when the place shut and when Hayden would be leaving. He pulled up to the Stables and luckly caught Hayden before he was leaving. He parked quickly and got out then ran over to Hayden. He was just now walking to his car. "Hey hey, I know you probably don't want to see me or even like teach me again. But just know that I am really sorry, I got a little cocky and impatient. I really didn't mean to upset you are the horse by any means. I'm also sorry for storming off without paying so here." He pulled out the 50 from his pocket and held it out. Sky took in a deep breath in and exhaled slowly after saying all of that. His heart started beating like crazy, he didn't know what Hayden was going to say. He grew very nervous but held his composure. He looked into Hayden's eyes, skys eyes were filled with regret. He wish he hadn't of done that. Edited at June 6, 2023 08:07 PM by Scarecrxw

Hayden had stayed late that day, Eleanir's lesson going much later than he'd expected. After he'd finished the lesson, he'd had stalls to muck out stalls, lunge a few horses, and also feed them. When he watched a car pull up, he was still blanketing a horse to put it out for the night, spraying Lovey down with fly spray to keep the flys from eating her alive that night. By the time he noticed who it was, it was too late to hide, or pretend he really needed to go. When Sky caught up to him, he was at the pasture gate, just letting the mare out into the grassy field. He gritted his teeth, barely listening as the anger flooded through his veins again. He kept his body turned away from Sky, hanging the halter on a hook by the pasture. As he watched, Sky held out the money, and he rolled his eyes on the inside. Hayden's gaze was cool, and he pushed the other boy's hand back. "It's fine. I don't need the money. I can't get that time back though." Hayden's thoughts were spinning. What could have possessed this boy to *come back* after he'd been so cocky? Was he crazy? That must be it. Hayden thought he'd made it clear that he was done with the teaching of riding lessons to this boy, and he turned away, pulling his keys out of his pocket. "I'm sorry. I already said this wasn't something I want to do anymore, and I'm sorry if I didn't make it clear enough at the time. I hope you can find a better teacher, who will let you do what you 'feel.'" His words were dripping with venom and sarcasm, and he dug the keys into the soft flesh of his palm.

(no offence haydens such a bitch.) Sky looked let down after he refused the money and just blabbed on. Like he said sorry, what more could he say? He didn't fight it. A small frown came upon Sky's face. Maybe this was a sign that horse riding wasn't his thing. He watched as the boy got in his car. He walked up to the barns and found his horse stall. He put the money in a bag on the stall door. He then walked out and back to his car. "What the fuck was I thinking, Im so fucking stupid." He said to himself as he ran his hands through his hair, gripping it a bit. He clenched his jaw holding back his feelings. He was both sad and angry and those two never go well together. He got in his car and sat in the driver's seat for a bit. He stared at all the horses, feeling a bit shattered. Did the boy not believe in second chances? He messed up once, he got too caught up in the moment. He frowned as he looked at Justin. After a bit of staring and zoning out he started his car. He then drove back home. "where did you go?" Iris asked. "Just to give the guy money for the lesson." He replied sadness in his tone as he walked down to his room. He took off his shirt, now only wearing shorts and he hopped in bed. He soon ended up falling asleep.

(I'm sorry you feel that way.) Hayden went back to his house, feeling incredibly irritated. He could tell that Sky thought he was a bitch, which he didn't understand at all. How could one half-assed apology make up for something like that? The other boy had acted like he was a natural at riding, and he just wasn't. No one can just get on a horse, and become the next Kentucky Derby winner. Yanking his hands through his hair, Hayden smacked around in the house, trying to get the anger out of his system. He didn't want to be so annoyed, because he could hold a mean grudge, and he didn't want to care. After a freezing cold shower, he was eating a bowl of ramen on his couch when he realized he'd left his phone in Versailles' stall door. He swore softly, and stood up, glancing at the time. 11:30. It would be fine, he decided. He yelled to his mother where he was going, though he knew she couldn't hear, and even if she could, she wouldn't care. After a half hour, he made it to back to Silversage, and walked inside the empty stables. Since it was summer, all the horses were out in the pasture, and Hayden almost wished that he could stay at the stables, but he knew he couldn't. He reached Versailles' stall, and noticed that the bag on the door was open. He opened it further, and saw the money in the bottom. His jaw tightened, and he pinched his lips. Pulling the money out, he shoved it in his pocket, looking around for the paperwork that Sky had signed only a few days before. On the paperwork was his home address, and Hayden drove straight there, not caring that it was dark. He pulled up into an older house's driveway, slamming his car door, and stomping up to the door, knocking firmly.

(No it's okay, haha it's just a RP. I would hate to be Sky in a real-life situation but I get where Hayden's coming from. I love him tho and the drama) Sky had woken up from his sleep around 12:30. His mom by then had been in bed and was asleep. He walked up from his room and went to go rummage around in the kitchen. What do I want to eat. He thought to himself, he hadn't eaten almost all day so his stomach was killing him. He found something that would fill him up without eating too much. He sat down on the island stools and began to eat. He was still upset from earlier but kept trying to forget about it, pushing it to the back of his mind. As he finished eating he heard a knock. His mom would have never heard it and he wouldn't of either if he was asleep. Looking towards the door he was very confused, he cocked his head as he got up to go see who it was. He didn't have a peephole so he couldn't see in advance so he just opened it. To his surprise, it was Hayden. "yeah." He said in a confused tone as he looked at the boy. He was very much confused, Hayden made it seem like he didn't want anything to do with him whatsoever. He stared at him with a confused gaze but was willing to hear whatever he was going to say. It was now around 12:45 at night so it was pretty dark out, the moon giving the only light. The air was cool and calm and the sky was starry. Sky loved the stars, he just loved the night sky in general. It made him feel so calm and happy in a way. He glanced up at the stars in the distance sky before looking back at Hayden. Hayden managed to restrain his anger, and fished the money out of his pocket, holding it out. "I don't want your money. It's not right for me to take it, my b-...my mum wouldn't like it. She'd say it's more like charity, and I don't need charity. Use it to find someone who can actually help you ride. Apparently, I don't understand you well enough to properly give you lessons, and maybe I'm the problem. But I doubt it." This last part was said barely allowed, and he sighed. "There's this thing coming up, an event of sorts. A group of people all get yearling mustangs, and we break them, train them, then sell them for a profit. Maybe you could come in during that event, and you could watch us work with the horses, and y'know. Understand better the work we have to go through to get them to where Justin is. See how easy it is to accidentally let them get away with a nasty habit, or do something that changes their whole personality. Maybe that would help you find a better trainer. Plus, at the end, since we sell them, maybe you could find a cheap Mustang. Not everyone sells, of course, but you might find one. If you're interested, come to Silversage tomorrow," Hayden suggested. He pushed the money back into Sky's hand, and quickly walked back to his car, driving home without another word. He wondered if he'd regret his offer. Probably, but now it was too late to retract.

Hayden had walked away before Sky could even speak. He definitely would want to go, but he was looking forward to working with Hayden. He thought he was quite attractive but it was whatever. Sky then closed the door and just looked at the money in his hand. He frowned a bit but was thankful Hayden had come by. He made his way downstairs thinking about tomorrow. He thought he should go to sleep so he was energized for tomorrow. He could very well get his own horse. Sky had fallen asleep after the incident pretty quickly, he then woke up around 12 the next day. He jolted up thinking about silversage. He got ready brushing his hair and putting on some clothes. He put on some sports shorts and a loose-fitting t-shirt. He looked very sporty. It was supposed to be hot so that's why he wore what he wore. He then made his way over to the stables. He made sure he had money before though. Mama could you maybe transfer me some money, I might be able to get a horse today for cheap." He texted his mom as he got to silversage. He saw a fairly large group of people. He saw new horses, they were all so beautiful. He got out of his car as he tried to spot Hayden. He found him and walked over to him, even though he didn't think Hayden liked him much he was the only person there he knew. "Are all of these the mustangs that you will be selling, Oh and how much will they be?" He asked as he looked over at the horses.

Hayden couldn't hold back a disdainful snort. "These aren't the Mustangs. We're about to go the the auctions for them. These are some of the ones we did a couple years ago, seeing how they turned out. This project takes about a year to complete, and is done every couple of years." Without waiting for a reply, Hayden turned back to the group of highschoolers surrounding him, and called out to one in particular, a pretty, petite blonde girl. "Macey! Is everyone ready to go?" The girl asked around for a moment, then turned back around, and yelled yes. Hayden turned slightly towards Sky. "See? We're going to the auction now. I didn't expect you to come this early, but I guess that you could tag along if you wanted." After getting a reply, Hayden carpooled with some of his friends, and half an hour later, they were at the auction. Immediately, the teens spread out through the rows of horses, finding the yearling Mustangs. Once there, they started checking legs, teeth, and build. Hayden studied a pretty red roan mare for a while, but decided that she wasn't a good fit for him, and continued looking. They spent about an hour checking out all the horses, and in the end, Hayden picked a handsome silver buckskin gelding. So, the auction began. Prices started low, but jumped quickly. Hayden wasn't nervous though. He knew most of the dealers, and knew how much the gelding he'd settled on was worth. As the gelding was led up, Hayden made a very risky gamble, and offered mot of his money on the first bid. If someone was willing to pay more, he was screwed. To his relief, no one did. "And the silver buckskin goes to Mr. Guilbault, for 10,000!" He heard the auctioner call. He collected the horse, and made the first installment of payment, taking the halter of the horse, and studying him once more, making sure that he hadn't been scammed.

(Im doing school so im sorry if my replied take long and are short) Sky was so confused, he just went with the flow. He ended up getting a ride to the auction. He was really unsure about what was even going on. I guess it's not easy to get a horse. He said in his mind, bummed. He needed to learn to be patient sometimes. If he were to get a horse he would definitely learn some patience. Once they got he spotted two beautiful horses. One was more silver the other was fully white. Hayden bidding for the silver one. He smiled as he looked at all the horses. He watched as Hayden collected the horse. He was beautiful, an angel. Sky walked over to Hayden. "You scored yourself a beauty, Hes so beautiful." He said, knowing Hayden would probably respond poorly. He was trying to be nice to Hayden, but he felt the more he tried the more Hayden didn't want anything to do with him. He smiled at the young gelding.
