Lucifer was thrilled when she said she could never hate anyone. Even if she did, it would definitely hurt, but he would try to make it up to her. That is if he remembers anything from tonight in the morning. Knowing him, he will probably have bits and pieces but not the whole story. He will probably have to ask her to fill in the gaps tomorrow to make sure he didn't miss anything or do something that harmed her. Though, he definitely pouted when she slipped away from him and said that he should go to bed. He glanced down at his shirt, seeing that she had unbuttoned some of it. He was so caught up in the intoxicating kiss that he didn't even feel her undoing the buttons. Now that his shirt is open, it revealed the three silver metal dog tags that is always around his neck and hidden under his shirt. Each one had a different name; Lucifer, Selene, and Ophelia. Ophelia was his mother's name. He hopes, maybe, that one day he will add another, maybe even two. One for his wife, if he can get over the fact that he can truly love someone, and his kid if he has one as well. It is just something he holds dear to his heart. He stumbled up the steps slightly, grumbling under his breath like a child at how stupid that a house has steps. He kept mumbling these are dangerous until they reached the top of the stairs. He watched her go into his room, staying on the outside. As he waited, he unbuttoned the rest of his shirt before slipping his shirt off, revealing his rather toned body and tattoo that practically covered his whole front and back. He had scars littering his skin everywhere, having the most prominent one be the jagged scar on the left side, having it go from his hip to the dip of his armpit. Once she came back, he stepped into the room, throwing his shirt somewhere in the room and not caring where it landed. In the morning he will be annoyed because he didn't put it in the laundry basket like he usually does. He didn't really hear her comment about going to bed and regreting stuff in the morning. He sat on the bed like she directed him to, his eyes closing as she pressed her hand on his forehead. "I'm fine. I promise. If I feel hot or am about to throw up, I would tell you." He said, one eye popping open to look at her. At feeling her hand running through his hair, his other eye popped open just as she started to speak again. He frown when she said that the car didn't shrink. Of course it did or he wouldn't have smacked his head. "Are you sure? I must've grown then." He murmured, his brows furrowed as he thought. He must've grown or the car shrunk. It is one of the two. He looked up at her when she said that they have seen each other but mostly in passing or something. He frowned, his gaze flickering over her face. Interesting as he doesn't remember seeing her. He must be a terrible person for not noticing her. "Huh. What a terrible person I am then. But are you sure you don't hate me?" He asked again. He is insecure about this question for reasons that he hates explaining. "Selene said the same thing, but she hated me for a while after our mother died." He said, a sad frown on his lips as he looked down in his lap. He did deserve it as he treated her horribly as well as pushed her away when she tried to help him. "But she doesn't anymore." He added, not wanting her to get the idea that Selene still hates him. He looked up at her, his gaze searching hers. These stirrings he was having earlier for her are even stronger now that he is drunk. He doesn't know what to do and he is frankly scared about what he feels. He doesn't want her to leave him like Katelyn left him. He already has a broken heart that took decades to repair. He doesn't need another one to where it might not be repaired this time. He reached out, his hand settling on her cheek. "Cleo, I really do care for you. It might not seem like it as it is hard to express myself and trust someone, but I really do." His other hand slipped around her waist to pull her closer to him. "I'm scared and tired of losing the people I love. I don't want to loose you either because of my selfishness and other things. And goddamnit, stop looking at my lips and just kiss me woman. Do something as you are driving me crazy woth the teasing." He of course noticed she kept looking at his lips but didn't want to say anything until the very end.

In order to catch herself, she placed her legs on either side of his when he pulled her closer to him. His confession about having feelings for her caught her off guard, so she bit her lip trying to cover the smile that was beginning to form. "Yes I am sure I don't hate you Lucifer." Her hands rested on his shoulders and her eyes slowly looked down taking note of his tattoo as well as the dog tags. Conflict danced in her eyes for a moment before she pressed her lips to his once more. Though the kiss didn't last long before her lips kissed along his jaw and down his neck before she spoke. "You think I am the one teasing you?" Her lips paused just a breath away from his skin before she pulled back placing her hands on his cheeks. "It wasn't like I was making it clear to talk to you. We were both busy and never knew that our worlds would ever collide." She gently rubbed her thumbs along his cheeks as she spoke realizing her own feelings for him were gaining strength with each passing moment. "We all worry about losing the ones we love but know that if the person shares your feelings, they aren't going to let you slip through their fingers and I fight to the death for the person I care about." She leaned back to remove her own tank top revealing a dark blue brassiere before she leaned forward, her lips finding his once more. Her own feelings showing with how soft the kiss started out before she deepened it. There was something about the showing of how vulnerable he was that pulled her heart to meet his, as her actions spoke louder than her words about her own feelings for him. The cool metal of his dog tags cause her to jump slightly when it touched her skin but that sensation was quickly forgotten in the next few moments as more clothing was removed to try and cool the heat that was rising between the two. The next morning came much too quickly and Cleo buried her face into the closest thing, which happened to be Lucifer's chest, to try and block out the rays of the sun urging her to awaken. Her hand pulled back from his chest to push her hair from her eyes as she slowly sat up holding the blanket around her body. It didn't take long for the emotions from last night to resurface in her mind as she looked down at the still sleeping Lucifer. A small smile formed on her lips but it was quickly followed by a slight feeling of dread as she carefully removed herself from beside him. Firstly, she was going to put something on before she tried to find her other articles of clothing. Her eyes landed on his shirt and she quickly slipped it on, doing up the buttons before rolling up the sleeves. His shirt ended just above the tattoo that circled her thigh as she quickly found what she thought was the rest of her clothing and shoes. Sadly the dark blue brassiere had gotten mixed in with the pants he had been wearing, being almost a similar color. Carefully she tiptoed out of his room, making a beeline for her own not wanting to wake the male up. Once she was safely in her own room, she set her boots in her closet and the bundle of clothes into the laundry bag. She was about to change out of Lucifer's shirt when she caught sight of herself in her mirror. The fabric sat nicely against her frame so she made the second mistake of the morning, and decided to keep wearing his shirt. Cleo grabbed her brush and brushed out her locks before pulling her hair into a ponytail. Once she deemed herself presentable, she headed downstairs, shocked that Lucifer still hadn't risen and wasn't making breakfast. And here was probably her final mistake of the day, she put on some music on the radio as she began to pull out ingredients to make the first meal of the day. What it was going to be, she wasn't quite sure yet but that didn't usually lead her down the wrong path in the past.

Lucifer felt something cuddle against his chest, causing him to move slightly but didn't wake up. He was probably like that for the next few minutes before his eyes popped open. He stared up at the ceiling, his hand on his forehead. He had a slight pounding headache, but it didn't make him feel like he couldn't do anything today. His brows then furrowed, wondering what the hell he even drank last night to make him fell so drunk. It must've been a drug or something as he has never felt that horrid when he was drunk after his mother died. He ran a hand through his hair, knowing he will have to investigate that more at a later time. Right now, he is kind of hungry and should probably get up to make food for him and Cleo. He sat up and got outof bed, not realizing the time or that he is naked as he crossed the room. He caught a glimpse of himself in the mirror, causing him to back track to look at himself. His eyes widened at seeing him naked, wondering what the hell he did last night. His gaze flickered around the room, soon finding his jeans on the ground. He went over to them and picked them up, but something fell as he did. At seeing a blue brassiere, his eyes widened again. He dropped his pants before going to his dresser and slipping on a pair of boxers and grey sweats, not bothering to put a shirt on. He then picked the strap of the brassiere up before leaving the room. He went across to Cleo's room, opening the door as he spoke. "What is-" He stopped when he realized that she isn't in her room. Did he leave without her last night? He will definitely feel bad if he did. That is when he heard music coming from downstairs. He descended the stairs with the article of clothing still in his hand. He stopped in the kitchen, his brows raising at seeing Cleo wearing the shirt he had on last night. He wondered what happened last night, but it all came to him seconds later. Every detail, surprisingly. He facepalmed his forehead, can't believing everything that he admitted to her last night and then ended up taking her to bed. He backed out of the kitchen quietly before she could see him and headed back upstairs. He threw her brassiere in her room before rushing into his room. Damnit. This is why he doesn't get drunk as he becomes vulernable and rather truthful about what he says to people. Well, he can't back out of it now as it already happened. He thought about what he said, wondering if it is true, even though he thought the stirrings were for Katelyn. He pursed his lips as he stood in the middle of the room, wondering how he can figure out who these stirrings are for. Perhaps he can do small little tests with Cleo to see if they are for her or they are for Katelyn like he thought. Then again, if they are for Cleo, does he truly want to get close to her and if she finds out he doesn't like him or something, leave him like everyone else? Then again, she said she wouldn't last night, so he will have to trust her on that. He will just have to be cautious himself to see if she truly won't even though she said she wouldn't. He went back downstairs before he snuck up behind her cooking breakfast. He slept in, which is something that isn't normal for him. He reached out, his arms wrapping around her waist and pulling her against his chest as he looked at what she is making. "Maybe you making food isn't so bad as it looks decent." He said as he gazed down at the food. "Found your brassiere in my room and returned it to yours." He mumbled before he turned his head to look at her, his arms still around her waist. He noticed the love bite on her neck, still surprised that he even went that far with her last night. "And I will also add that you look damn fine in my shirt. You should do it more often, love." He mumbled as he slightly leaned forward to press a kiss to the love bite. He then pulled away from her, leaning back against the island as he watched her cook. "I remember everything, strangely enough."

Her body leaned into him when he wrapped his arms around her waist. "I was trying to be nice since you slept in, but I can let you take over and finish up. I was going for just pancakes with eggs and bacon." Her head tilted with a small moan that was quickly followed by a whine when he pulled away from her. She kept her eyes on the food as she cooked feeling the color rise in her cheeks when he mentioned her brassiere. "Thank you. I thought I had grabbed everything when I stepped out. Apparently I didn't..." She turned her gaze to him with a tilt of her head at him mentioning that he remembered everything. "Is that not normal for you? Maybe it is because you didn't drink the whole drink last night." She looked down at his shirt and put her hands on her hips doing a couple funny poses before turning her attention back to the pancake in the pan. "I would but only if you are okay with that. I am not a normal thief of clothes but this was a little easier to grab when I got up." "There is a plate in the oven with the bacon on it to keep them warm. I wanted to do something nice for you. I mean after everything..." She flipped over the pancake to cook the other side turning to look over at him while she leaned back against the counter. She crossed her legs at the ankles watching him for a few moments. "So do you want to do anything today? We could stay in bed all day." A playful gleam filled her eyes as she wiggled her eyebrows. "Or we could be boring and go grocery shopping." As much as the idea of staying in bed sounded, she had noticed they needed a few items from the store that probably shouldn't wait on getting. She took a couple of steps towards him and placed a hand on his chest taking a better look at his tattoo and scar. "You are the boss though, love and to make up for not being punished with buying drinks, I will follow your lead." Soon she stepped away and removed the pancake from the pan to a plate that had a couple already stacked on it. "At least I didn't get creative with my cooking...I am honestly surprised that I am actually still alive with some of the concoctions I have created. Breakfast is the easiest to do though. Not too hard to mess up." There was an air of comfort in her movements, it was almost natural for her to take over if he had slept in. Deep down she was still wary of what his intensions were but right now in the moment, she was happy. She moved her arms to cross her chest as she moved to the island and jump up, sitting on the counter while watching him. There was a slight hesitation in her hand when she removed it from its positing against her own body to run her fingers through his hair. Her eyes saddened when she asked. "Do you regret last night?" It might have been the way that he said he remembered everything that had caused a bit of fear to begin in her chest. Even if she didn't regret anything that had been said or done, but there was a nagging feeling that maybe just maybe he was only being nice to her to not make her feel guilty. Her eyes were searching his as she waited trying to keep her worry from taking over. Edited at October 15, 2020 09:35 AM by Rustyk Pack

Lucifer shook his head when she offered for him to take over. Of course, he wouldn't do that. He will let her finish and see if her food is any good. It smells good, so he has high hopes that it will taste just as good or better even. His brow did raise when she let a moan out from the kiss to her neck and then a whine when he pulled away. He didn't think he had such an effect on her like that. How interesting. He might just have to tease her more to see what reactions he can get out of her. He didn't know that such actions could affect women. Then again, he isn't playing around with women as much as people think he does. Though, he said nothing when she mentioned her brassiere once again. He shrugged his shoulders as he watched her cook. "It is not." He said when she asked if it was normal for him to remember things. He usually never does. Well, he does, but it takes time and people telling him what the hell happened when he was drunk. "You do have a point. Makes me not want to go out drinking again after that drug. That was just horrid." He grumbled as he ran a hand down the side of his face. It truly was as he probably acted like a damn child when he was drunk. Will she make fun of him? May she won't so he doesn't have to deal with that. When she started to do funny poses, he chuckled a few times, his head shaking as a small smile is on his lips. "Depends on the article of clothing. Mostly, I won't care as long as I don't end up losing everything to you." He went over to the oven and took the plate of bacon out. He set it down on the counter next to the rest of the items. He returned to his spot when she asked him what she wanted to do today. When she gave him two options, a small grin formed on his lips as he went over to her. He is going to tease her just a tiny bit. He leaned down, brushing his lips along her jawline, down her neck to her collarbone, and then back up. He let his lips ghost over hers before he pulled back completely and gave her a wink. "Whatever you wish to do. No need for your repayment on drinks since you had to deal with my drunk behavior last night." He grumbled, pressing a kiss to her cheek before he went back to his place leaning against the counter He listened to her talk, but didn't really say anything on the subject. When she came over and sat on the island next to him, he has a feeling something is on her mind. He looked up at her when he felt her fingers run through his hair, a small sigh leaving his lips. That is one thing he has always enjoyed. He has always loved it when someone runs their fingers through his hair. It just soothes him and makes him forget about the worries that he could be having. Though, he was snapped out of the peaceful place when she asked him if he regretted last night while looking at him with sad eyes. For some reason, seeing her sad like this made his heart clench in slight pain. He moved away from her, turning the stove off to prevent anything from burning while they talk and don't have to worry about dealing with breakfast. He then returned to her, pushing her legs open and standing between them. His hands are settled on her hips, yet there is no emotion seen on his face at the moment as if he is going to tell her yes, he regrets it. He reached up with one hand, brushing her hair away from her face and giving her a soft smile as he did so. She worries too much for her own good. "Hmmm, I am not sure." He teased as his gaze flickered around her face. The same hand slipped to the back of her head, resting lightly against the back of her neck. "Sure, I was drunk. But...." He trailed off, making her think that the but is going to be a bad thing. "No, I don't regret it one bit." He mumbled as his hand on her waist slowly slides up her side. "Perhaps this punishment on earth is something that should've happened sooner for us or I wouldn't have met you." He said before he leaned down a pressed a kiss to her lips, his hand on her side going to her back and pulling her closer to him.

Her skin was still lightly buzzing from his teasing when he stepped between her legs. A shudder went through her body as her eyes met his. Her heart stilled when he showed no emotion and dropped at his pause. It was taking most of her will power to not let her emotions flood her eyes at the drop. She raised an eyebrow in confusion for just a second before his lips were pressed against hers. Her legs wrapped around his waist as her arms moved to his neck leaning into the kiss while her eyes fluttered closed. She smiled against his lips before she pulled back tilting her head. "And here I thought all those silly pick up lines didn't do anything..." Relief was plainly showing in her eyes when he said he didn't regret the night they had shared. As much as she didn't want to think about the opposite of that, she had spent some of the time before he had awaken thinking about what she would have to do. Cleo wouldn't have been able to stay in the house with him. She knew Lucious was just a call away and would easily come take her place if she asked him to. It wouldn't be easy going back to everyone knowing that it would get out what happened and why she left. No one could keep things quiet and she probably wouldn't be able to do any jobs on her own for a while. Deep down she knew she wouldn't be able to live with herself due to guilt she would feel after hearing he regretted it. "Yeah it probably should have happened sooner but they say good things come to those that wait. I was waiting for the right time to work with you." She pressed her lips against his lightly to try and calm down her own body as she unhooked her legs and pulled away, swinging a leg over his head before jumping to the ground. "We should probably eat before it all gets cold. Cold breakfast isn't all that great...trust me, its not." With that, she moved over to the other cupboard and pulled out a couple of plates setting them on the counter before moving to grab silverware. After she put a pancake on her plate with a couple bacon, she moved over to the table and sat down waiting for him before she began to eat. Her pancakes had a pinch of cinnamon in them that her mother had always done, and she learned from her mother how to cook. The taste was a little fainter than she normally would have done but that is why she added a little more to the one on her plate. She hadn't wanted it to be overly flavored if he didn't like it. "What if we hit the grocery store and..." She paused to look down at her tattoo then back at him. "No telling anyone I have the rose garter. No one else, other than my tattoo artist, knows I have it. Not even your sister." That tattoo was her more recent artwork, it hadn't hit her until she sat down that Lucifer was the first to see it. Granted she would have prefered it possibly a little different but either way it was going to be seen. "And as for your clothes, I usually stick to one or two shirts that I alternate between. If I can use them as pjs it works. Even my ex could tell you I don't steal very many items. And I give them back. I don't always horde items...I like my clothes too much to cheat on them that bad."

Lucifer scoffed when she pulled away, telling him that he didn't think that the pickup lines worked. Honestly, they didn't. Just with the countless hours of spending around her and just knowing her on a personal level made these stirrings occur. "They barely have an effect, love. I find them more amusing than them working on me." He liked seeing that she is happy with his response to not regretting last night. Even though it probably crossed a line between them that shouldn't have happened, he didn't care. He didn't regret it one bit and would do it again and again if he could. He hummed against her lips when she kissed him again before she moved away from him. As much as he is displeased that she wants to eat breakfast instead of other things, he wants to try her food. He shrugged his shoulders as he grabbed a plate from the cabinet and started to dish some food up. He has never found that good things come to him when he waits. He finds that it is bad things that happen when he waits. "Not in my case they don't." He mumbled as he put two pancakes on his dish. He will honestly be surprised if what they have even lasted since goods things that happen to him only get taken away from him. He put some eggs and bacon on his plate before grabbing syrup. He poured some on one pancake before using his fork and spreading it around the surface. He did that same thing, making sure that the pancake is covered in syrup before he made his way over to the table. He sat in the chair across from her after he set his plate on the table. He cut a piece out, glancing up at her when she mentioned her tattoo. A smile curved onto his lips, his eyes gleaming with excitement that he is the only person, besides the artist, who knows about her rose garter tattoo. He set his fork against his plate and leaned back in his chair as his gaze stayed trained on her. "I feel special if I am the only person who knows about it. Then again, you are the only person to know about this scar." He said as he gestured towards the one along his ribs. He picked his fork up, putting it into his mouth. He chewed, his lips jutting out. She is not a bad cook. Her food is more than edible. He still prefers to cook though just because he enjoys it. Even if she cooks because she wants to for some reason, he will still eat it. "Not bad, love. Kudos to you for making it taste good." He said as he kept eating the food on his plate. He only ate about half though, not one that is a big eater. He set his fork down, a small chuckle leaving his lips at her comment about clothes. "Fine by me." He got up, taking his plate and going to the sink. He cleaned the dishes, doing hers as well once she was done eating. He put them in the dishwasher, starting it since it is filled up enough to start a cycle. He wiped his hands on the hand towel before turning around and facing her. Before he could say anything, his phone started to ring. He slipped his hand into his pocket and pulled it out. He didn't look at the caller ID as he answered it and put it to his ear. "Ajax speaking." At hearing the voice on the other end, he let a sigh out. He should've known she would've called after a night like that. "I don't know." He said, replying to her comment about if he can meet her at the park. Then again, it will give him an excuse to see Katelyn by herself without Cleo around to see if these stirrings are for her or they are truly for Cleo. Even if they are for one of these women, he is going to be scared to lose them like he has everyone else. After a few more words, he finally agreed to meet her at the park. "Fine. Give me ten minutes." He said, letting a sigh leave his lips before hanging up. He went to Cleo, smiling at her as he did so. "I have to meet up with someone. It should take an hour, an hour and a half tops. You can go to the store yourself or I can meet you there. Doesn't matter to me as I am fine with either." He didn't know why Katelyn wanted to meet him, but her voice seemed frantic on the phone when they were talking. That made him worry if something happened to her last night after they left the club.

"Thank you, but the kudos goes to my mother. She said the touch of cinnamon makes it pop." She had eaten most of the pancake and a little of the bacon but moved to help him clean up some before raising an eyebrow at his phone ringing. There was a bit of excitement that they both had shared something with each other not many others got to see. Her eyes furrowed watching him and her arms reflexively folded across her chest. "Oh okay. I can run to the store. I know what we need and it should be a quick run unless traffic is bad." She knew she needed to be around him but he could handle himself. "Just call me if something comes up..." Her eyes searched his features for a few moments before she motioned for him to go up the stairs. "Well you said ten minutes, you better get up to a shower and dressed. Ten minutes isn't very long to get ready." Her heart stilled at the thought of who he could be meeting but she returned his smile as she followed him. The line that she had been expressly told not to cross had become blurry as her emotions wanted to reach out to him. She was still there to do a job and what harm could a little fun at times be? She followed him up the stairs but disappeared into her room to grab a towel. She was then headed towards the bathroom that was across from her room pausing at the door for a moment before taking his shirt off to rest on the banister of the stairs. "I will do a load of laundry before I leave. I am setting this here so I don't forget to do that..." She called out over her shoulder before stepping into the bathroom. The shower felt like a warm embrace as the water ran down her skin. She closed her eyes for a moment clearing her thoughts as she waited. It wasn't very much longer and she was stepping out of the bathroom with the towel wrapped around herself and she was putting her hair into a pony tail as she padded back to her room. "Be safe." She put on a pair of jeans, a t-shirt, and a pair of sneakers before heading down the stairs. She grabbed the keys to the car, making sure to lock the door as she left before climbing into the vehicle. Soon she was backing out of the driveway and turning down the road, heading to the store. Her mind kept wandering to thoughts about who Lucifer could be meeting and she almost turned the car around to follow him but in the end ultimately decided against it. If he had wanted her to know who it was, he would have said something. Plus he would call if he needed help. She kept reminding herself as she drive trying to relax her grip that was on the wheel.

Lucifer watched as she disappeared into her room when they got to the top of the stairs. He didn't want to go for some reason, but he already told Katelyn that he was going to meet up with her. He let a sigh leave his lips, rubbing the back of his neck. He took one last glance at her bedroom door before disappearing into his room. He quickly jumped into the shower, not wanting to take too long and keep Kat waiting. He doesn't know why he has a bad feeling about this, but he just does. Maybe he is just imaging it and think bad things are going to happen. He wouldn't be surprised as bad things follow him everywhere he goes. He quickly slipped on a pair of jeans and a wine-colored t-shirt just as she came out of the bathroom. Before she went to her room, he pressed a kiss to her forehead, showing her that everything will be fine and he can handle himself. "I will. You be safe in the store too. I will see you soon." He said, watching her disappear into the room once more before he headed out. He slipped a hand in his pocket, his other hand running through his damp hair as he walked along the sidewalk to the park. It is only a five-minute walk from where they live. Kat can deal with him being a little late as it isn't like he is ditching her and arriving there an hour later. He finally arrived at the park, seeing kids playing around with each other with their parents sitting on the benches watching them. A smile appeared on his lips at seeing the kids. Oddly, the Devil likes kids. He doesn't know why, but he just loves them. One day he would like to have one of his own, but that is if he finds someone that he knows he can see himself with. Well, he can see himself with Cleo, but who knows. She might not want the same things he does. That is why he has always guarded his emotions and not let anyone in. He eventually found her after a good ten minutes after watching the kids. He took a seat next to her on the bench, his gaze flickering over her appearance. She didn't seem hurt, but that is to be said once she tells him why the hell she called him here in the first place. "What's going on?" He asked her, his brow raised as he leaned back against the bench as he waited for an answer. She turned in her seat towards him, tears in her eyes. His brows shot up, wondering what the frick is going on. "What is wrong? Why are you crying?" He asked, not always one to know how to comfort someone, let alone a woman when they are emotional like this. "I got hurt last night." She mumbled. "No shit. How exactly?" It was a bit harsh, but he hates when people beat around the bush when they are trying to tell him something. She pulled the sleeve of her shirt up, revealing a rather large gash that she hasn't even tried to attend to. It seemed like it happened recently too. "Jesus, woman!" He exclaimed as he jumped to his feet. He pulled her to hers before he started to power walk towards his house. He ignored her blabbering about being sorry and that she didn't mean to get hurt and this and that. He unlocked the door, pulling her in before leading her to the kitchen table. "Sit." He said, making sure she did so before he disappeared to get the first aid kit. He arrived a few minutes later with it and sat in the chair next to her. He pulled it close to her before grabbing her arm. He started to clean it, grumbling under his breath. She will need stitches with how large this is. Seems like it was something that can harm them and leave a wound that won't heal right away. "You need to be more careful." He mumbled as he dabbed gently at her wound. She continued to apologize, which he is starting to get annoyed with. "Stop apologizing. Just carry a weapon with you next time." He mumbled as he grabbed a needle and thread and started to stitch up the gash. When that was said and one, he grabbed some bandages and started to wrap her arm up. Once he was done, he put everything back in the kit before looking up at her. "Are-" He didn't get to say anything before she grabbed the front of his shirt and pulled him towards her. Before he knew it, she kissed him, catching him by surprise. He didn't push her away right away because he wanted to see if these stirrings are for her and because he is frozen by her actions. Though, seconds later he pulled away when he didn't get the same spark that he got with Cleo. He had his arm over his mouth seconds later, not knowing what to say.

Cleo had spent a little longer in the store than she had wanted as well. Grumbling under her breath about a couple people that had clearly gotten caught trying to shop lift. Of all places, the grocery store was not one that she would have expected to see it at. A gal she had run into a couple times at work had also stopped her to talk once she was out of the store. Once she was in the car and headed home, she turned on some music, dancing as she pulled into the drive. She put a couple of bags on each arm and paused briefly at the door wondering why it was unlocked until she remembered Lucifer might not be that long. She stepped in the door and was about to call out when she stood at the entrance of the kitchen. Her eyes wide at seeing Lucifer kissing Katelyn. Her heart began to crumble against the weight of the scene before her. was he really lying straight to my face? Was he just using me? Her thoughts spiraling as she set the bags down on the counter before heading back to the car. It was taking every ounce of control that she had to not openly show her reaction. After setting the last bag on the counter, she began to put the items away. Her hands trembling with each motion. "I see you ran i to Katelyn. I hope everything is alright." There was a chill to her tone and she would barely look at the pair. Why did it feel like a betrayal...it wasn't like they were exclusive. Yes they had slept together but they got caught up in the moment of confessing feelings for each other. That happens all of the time right? Her mind was still racing when a jar of olives slipped from her grasp and smashed against the tile floor. "Shit..." she knew down beginning to try and pick up the bigger pieces of glass carefully. "I can run back and get another jar. I don't know what happened." Her words were quick, showing that she wasn't used to letting it show her mind was distracted. If she was getting distracted by her thoughts of Lucifer that badly...it meant her heart had crossed the line she had tried to fight. The realization that she may have feelings for Lucifer hit as she cut one of her fingers on a piece of glass. Quickly she stuck it in her mout after making sure there were no pieces in it and threw what she had in her other hand away. Cleo stood and noticed the first aid kit near Katelyn. There was a hesitation in her movement when she reached for a band-aid, putting it on her injured finger after cleaning the wound. She had avoided looking at the pair before then but put a joking smile on her face. "You would think I would be good at not cutting my hands like that. Oops."
